After leaving 36 minutes behind in the match the score was already 4-0. They were all comfortable goals for Brazil side and this score could have been at least 7-0 or 8-0 in the same half also.

Now it is time for Brazil to play a game with low tempo. I was expecting Tite to sub off some crucial names for the team at the beginning of the second half actually but he hasn't yet. It is important for him to keep his players as energetic as possible for their next match. He should keep especially important players away from injuries also.

Newcastle are not actually a small team. They just have an average squad now so we can count them as one of the balanced teams in the league. But of course this doesn't show the work they have done so far as easy. It has been a really challenging road for them until now. But they have dealt with their opponents in a really effective way. Germany are having a very comfortable match just as many people were expecting. As long as Japan don't draw with Spain, even a draw will be enough for Germans to qualify for next round. It is even a big surprise how Germany couldn't score more than one goal in the first half. Because Costa Rica have played so desperately until now. Truthfully I don't think that the harmony in Real Madrid would be gone with Mbappe addition. It is true that Mbappe has become really selfish these days. But it is because PSG just act like he is the owner of the team now. They are paying insane amount of money to Mbappe and they are like ready to do whatever he likes to see in the team. However I don't expect Real Madrid to tolerate him too much. If he is thinking of a move to Real Madrid in the future he will need to get ready to play for a much more disciplined team.

I hope that he can change to play for his dream team in the future. He is a very skilled player normally and his playing style would fit Real Madrid a lot. Real Madrid would be in no need of adding another striker in case they sign Mbappe. But I don't think this transfer would happen at the end of this season.

I'm really admiring Argentina's recovery in the World Cup. First they disappointed their supporters by a shocking Saudi Arabia loss. After seeing that my prediction about their future in the tournament also changed. But they made a big progress after that. The Mexico win just helped them reborn again and they are playing a really effective attacking game from now on. They are doing the best thing they can do while they don't have a very trustworthy defense line actually. They just want to suppress this weakness by being more productive in scoring and breaking the hopes of their opponents.

If Argentina keep this up in the later stages also then I will be expectant from them to have a successful run in the World Cup. This is a very important tournament for Messi as it is his last seemingly. He isn't having a good day maybe but I believe in him to make up for that.

Tottenham could have really been in this race even more if they were more successful in big matches in the league. But Conte is still unable to find what to do in this kind of important matches. Three of their last five league matches were already against big teams and they just lost all of them to Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United. Two of them were even in their own stadium. This is terrible for a team that wants to be in a title competition.

They don't have much problem against smaller teams which is a good sign. It shows that they are less likely to make simple point losses throughout the season. But they should be able to reflect this positive performance on the big matches also. Maybe Conte needs to make some changes in his strategies in these matches. Their lineup is already one of the bests in the league. They just need to perform better than this.

It has been a meme since Binotto resigned of course. But honestly it wouldn't be bad to see him having an important role at Ferrari also. I know that his most successful times with Red Bull but Ferrari has a special place in his heart for sure. When it comes to who will take the team principal job it is really difficult to predict now. I just hope that they find a person who knows what he is doing. Binotto didn't seem likely to make changes in his crew so this might be the main reason why he was expected to leave his job. I assume the new team principle would build his own crew instead of going on with the current one.

I haven't heard a rumour such as Real Madrid are interested in Kane these days. There was a time in the past that they thought about transferring him seriously but they didn't go for him. They haven't felt the absence of a solid striker so far actually. Because they have done an amazing work with Benzema for a long time. He was like one of the best players in Europa last season. However he has been facing with an injury in this season and he couldn't make much contribution to the team.

However Real Madrid are still a very disciplined team that they have still done good in the absence of him. But I don't think this is sustainable. Benzema is also aging and I don't think he can keep the same level of effort in each season as of now. We will see if they will make any attempt for a striker but I don't expect it in January.

This is a pretty dangerous score for USA that's for sure. Their one goal wasn't counted also and it was a really debatable decision by the way. Because they didn't even check VAR and they just let the match go on directly. USA should be able to answer this in the best manner. They were really fully dominant in the first half but things aren't going the same in this half now. Iran have started to balance the game which is a big advantage for them. They are a big threat in such situations.

Because for example we know what they did to Wales after Wales couldn't manage to find the goal they needed. Even one point is enough for Iran here so we had better be ready for a surprise as long as USA don't manage to find the second goal first.

I wonder if Conte would be permanent here depending on Tottenham's performance in the rest of the season. There has been some drop in their performance recently. I mean that it has been like that especially in big matches. But I still don't think that this will create any domino affect on them. Conte is a very experienced and qualified manager. He should be able to create a solution for their performance in this kind of matches as well. The job they have done so far must be satisfying for the fans.
