16824  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Web Designer for gambling project on: July 01, 2017, 09:29:02 AM
He can come to my office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and meet me himself if he wishes. I'm the Chief Technology Officer of a small (20 people) web development firm. He said he needs help completing the template. Happy to help for a cut of something with potential. Have no problem trading contact information and signing anything prior to receipt of any deposit.

That being said. I won't work without deposit or a payment in an escrow. Even after signing something. I need reassurance as well.

If you have a tech company that is registered in Florida and employs 20 people then that is a great start. If it is a company where shareholders/directors exist and can be verified and an office that can be visited I think it means you will be not be on any scam list.

Both parties need reassurances so a partial payment escrow or small deposit in advance with milestones seems a good way to go forward

I just browsed the scam section after a couple of weeks and noticed the scale of scammers is as intense as ever.

Too many of the 'coders' plying trade here are liars and scammers that have one intention only. They will try to talk you in to parting with your money and after promising you the best project in the world they will let you down and drop you as if they were holding a baking hot potato!

Be careful, do not part with your cash unless you can find reputable people to vouch for the people you intend to give your money to.

16831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitmora - New Exchange Platform [Coming Soon] on: June 30, 2017, 03:44:55 PM
Yeah, everything was set for the 28th. However, last weekend my business partner had a family emergency and is no longer able to move forward with us, and was kind of a huge blow to the entire team. With that it also means his money is no longer with us either. We're still going to continue on, however document and site release is delayed until July 5th. With that said, he was also my COO, so now I'm also in a position where I need to fill that position as well getting his name off of all legal paperwork and getting FinCEN-SU transfer complete.

Thanks for your concerns,
Colton

So sorry to hear about your woes. I hope your ex-business partner and ex-COO is doing well considering his family issues. Best wishes to him.

Also my best to you too. It means you will now have to take on the extra work but you seem very focused so I am sure you will do well. It cannot be easy for you and your team to have a major setback so wishing you the best.

Looking forward to reading what is available to the public on 5th July.

The project is not dead , we are trying to figure out the process.

Any news?
16833  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitmora - New Exchange Platform [Coming Soon] on: June 29, 2017, 11:24:49 PM
28th is when all documents get released, so 3 more days.

I visited your website today but saw no whitepaper and no documents were released.

Is everything running on time? The whitepaper should have been released a couple of days a go but there has been no update here.
16834  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN][BOUNTY] New Cryptocurrency Manx Fund on: June 29, 2017, 11:02:47 PM
Total nonsense.A currency which is going to harm the owner if he is not able to increase it by 2% each week.
You are aware what the role of a currency is ?

I have the same opinion as you but the project manager thinks it is a revolutionary idea. I cannot see how this project will be successful. The project manager last posted stating they are working out the process but no explanation was given about what that means. The white paper basically had everything laid out in it but since investors are not lining up to invest maybe that has affected the project.

Unfortunately it seems when most ICOs are advertised they want people to buy in to their idea but when it comes to development some fizzle out. Not sure what is going on here.
16835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 28, 2017, 04:22:08 PM
Read my last post above where I alluded to Paul spending, spending, spending.

Though this is a possibility there in no concrete evidence. I find it hard to accept that a thief would not withdraw, not exchange or not move the funds around just because he has a lot money to burn through while keeping him busy. That seems far too simplistic a view.

If your assumption is correct then that is that but if it is not the case then what else could be the reason? The only people that can provide clarity are Paul Vernon himself or any of his cronies that were in on the scam alongside him.
16836  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 28, 2017, 03:07:40 PM
I think he stole lots of money... no doubt. I dont know if he took the 11k BTC is what I am saying. He knows he is safe now... and cant get arrested for stealing it if he never comes back. He already stole lots of cash, why would he not spend these coins? It makes no sense at all.

perhaps someone took them from him to draw out his other thefts... and then got scared at the amount and possible jail time and trashed the keys. All im saying is I dont see this as a vern move. Why steal them and not spend them when you have no chance of being punished for it?

Even if someone got scared they would not necessarily trash they keys. Regardless of how many millions a thief had stolen, he would still spend the other thousands of bitcoin. Why steal it if you have no intention of spending it?

I agree with you when you say you do not see this as a 'Vern Move'. I know very little about Paul Vernon but any thief would surely spend, spend, spend especially when as you put it that he cannot be punished for it.
16837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 28, 2017, 12:54:44 PM
I don't buy it. Even if we all saw him move the coins and send them to mixer after mixer and do whatever with them, what can anyone do about it? He is in a country with no extradition treaty and no fear of anything. He has already been proved to have stolen money to buy things for the ex wife, and he is still free to roam about as he likes.

Tell me, if he started spending the coins in China, what do you suppose could be done about it?

At the moment it seems as though he has not moved the bulk of the coins. No one seems to know the reason why. Maybe he no longer has access to the wallets.

Something is very strange about this whole situation. Why would someone steal millions of dollars worth of bitcoin and then not move them around nor spend them? He went through the process of running away effectively becoming a fugitive. Moving away from his family, friends and environment to a new country but is not spending the wealth he stole to fund what ideally for anyone in his situation would be a lavish lifestyle.

There are so many unknowns here....
16838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 27, 2017, 07:03:09 PM
whoever it was that took the coins either lost the keys, or is in a position not to move them... ie jail, dead, ect...

I am not 100% convinced that vern was able to pull this off. He was stealing money the whole time from craptsy, and as evidenced by his lifestyle and the things he was able to buy with stolen coins and such... the idea of a major theft wouldnt make sense. He was rich already from stolen money. Why steal everything left and then leave it sitting forever?

This is a very strange state of affairs....
16839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 27, 2017, 05:17:53 PM
ONE TINY problem..... Perv Vern may have lost the keys.    Cheesy

The danger is that if he has not moved the bitcoin then that may ACTUALLY have happened!

In your opinion why on earth is Paul Vernon not moving the bitcoin around and not cashing in on them?
16840  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 27, 2017, 10:24:48 AM
The bitcoins in question are not held by any third-party entity. Paul Vernon controls them.

Thank you for the input. Most appreciated.
