16901  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people are unhappy? on: December 02, 2017, 05:59:18 AM
I feel unhappy when someone whom I trust lies to me or try to cheat me. It lingers on my mind for many weeks and my entire routine gets disrupted as a result. I need to stop trusting people blindly, but despite trying hard, I am finding it quite difficult to put in to practice. Because I don't want to antagonize anyone or make them angry.
16902  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: December 02, 2017, 05:18:11 AM
Happiness can never be trade with money. Because a lot of people are rich but they are still not happy.

How many rich people are not happy? May be 1% or 2%. But how many of these poor people are unhappy? The proportion will be more than 90%. I agree that happiness is not something which can be directly purchased from the supermarket. But at the same time, the things which can give you happiness (such as video games, food) can be purchased at a cost.
16903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: December 02, 2017, 05:15:09 AM
Everyone has got their own freedom of life the way they want.So time to leave 'LGBT' alone and God be the judge.

Even I would like to leave the gays alone. But that doesn't mean that we should cater to all of their demands. What is the need to recognize gay marriage, when most of the countries have already decriminalized homosexual activity? Homosexuality is a mental disease and the patients need treatment and compassion. They don't need recognition.
16904  Other / Politics & Society / Re: English on: December 02, 2017, 05:12:30 AM
Do we need to study English to be successful?

No, look at Japan most of them do not use the English language yet they are a country that is performing well. Also tourists go their country knowing that they will face a language barrier

Language barrier is not that great in Japan. Some of my friends are studying there, and they have told me that most of the people know English. But still, it is better to learn Japanese in order to travel to the rural areas. And in Japan, the problem is that it is extremely difficult for the expats to learn the Japanese language, as it is very complex.
16905  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: December 01, 2017, 03:43:36 AM
You can do eca. You shouldn't treat Bitcoin like just an investment it's also wise to trade it then sell ti for goods like people used precious metal back in the day.h

Nowadays everyone is treating Bitcoin as an investment asset. Even if you want to use Bitcoins for payment purposes, you can't do that as a result of the sky high fees. Yesterday I was trying to withdraw some coins from my Cryptopia account, and it was asking for a fee of BTC0.002. Can you believe it? A fee of $20 for a single transaction!
16906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: December 01, 2017, 03:41:13 AM
i think bitcoin cannot destroy our country even if i am just starting this forum bitcoin can save our taxes and save our goverment from corruption.

Well, that is the problem for the government. Bitcoin can save you from paying taxes to the government. You can hide your income and wealth in the form of crypto-currency and the government authorities will not be able to detect them. But if everyone does the same, then the country will collapse.
16907  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2017, 03:38:48 AM
The government hasn't banned Bitcoins because they are not capable of doing that. In order to ban the possession of Bitcoins, they need to shut down the entire internet (even then they will not be able to confiscate the coins from Bitcoin users). That is why intelligent governments (such as those in Japan) legalized Bitcoin.
16908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: December 01, 2017, 03:36:25 AM
Because purchasing bitcoin is good you can observe the end result immediately because the co modifications I suppose every minute in which you can see the end result in investing bitcoins.s,t

That is true with every single type of investment, right? If you purchase mutual funds or equities, then you can track them real time using the demat web interface. The same with bullion as well. Real time gold, silver and platinum prices are available from a large number of websites. So it is not unique to Bitcoin.
16909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 03:32:48 AM
The biggest problem is that a lot many of these porn sites are based in the United States. There is a legal requirement for the users to prove that they are above 18 years of age. With credit cards, there is no issue as they serve as a proof of age. But if you use Bitcoins, then you may need to submit additional proof that you are above 18 years of age.
16910  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 01, 2017, 03:30:29 AM
Because of rising bitcoin community obviously it has a positive impact on bitcoin. It has became the number one online currency. But yet not every people know about bitcoin.Only 30% to 40% are known about BTC.If the community is increasing then more people will know about bitcoin. Then the investment in bitcoin will increase. So obviously it's a good thing.

30% to 40% is a very good number, but I really doubt whether that many people know about Bitcoin. Here in India, 80% of the people haven't heard of any currency other than the Indian Rupee. 90% will not be able to answer, if you ask them what is the national currency of Japan.
16911  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Master Degree Important? on: December 01, 2017, 03:27:14 AM
Its important especially if you are a fresh graduate and who is aiming for top positions this would get you an advantage ahead of the crowd.

I don't know. Here in India, (at least in the IT industry), having a masters is quite useless. All that matters is the institution from which you graduated and your coding/programming knowledge. Someone who doesn't even have a Bachelor's degree will be hired over someone with Master's, if he knows coding.
16912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to solve world hunger ? on: December 01, 2017, 02:29:24 AM
unfortunately, we have the opportunity to change something only in our close neighborhood...to feed the poor, the old...even to sacrifice money is dangerous, because we don't know where they will go...

Oh please.. no freebies. If you give them money, then they will waste it on drugs and booze. Even if you are giving handouts of food, you need to be extra-careful about it. You need to make sure that they are not using barter to exchange the food items for booze. The best way in my opinion is to give them some work, from which they can earn money.
16913  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: December 01, 2017, 02:26:25 AM
I think everything will be possible after 100 years. The human being will be lives on another planet.Everything will happen like movies. We can't think that will happen.

Setting up colonies in other planets is a very expensive process. Even if the technology advances at a rate beyond our expectation, I really doubt whether we will be able to afford more than 100 or 200 people living in the other planets. Space travel is also very expensive and one time ticket may cost the equivalent of the annual budget of some third world nations.
16914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Zombie drugs on: December 01, 2017, 02:24:01 AM
I'm not interested in drugs, so I have not heard of such a variety. In any case, drugs are evil, so it's better not to start using them.

You are generalizing all type of drugs in to one category, when that is not the case. The hard drugs must be banned and I don't have a second opinion regarding that. Drugs such as heroin and methamphetamine are very dangerous to the body, and they are killing millions of people around the globe every year. But the same can't be said about soft drugs such as marijuana.
16915  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: December 01, 2017, 02:18:22 AM
The crowds differ on the function of weapons. I think that although weapons are made for peaceful purposes, weapons will still bring destruction and war.

Weapons were initially designed for self-defense and not for killing anyone. Until the mid 20th century, no matter how superior the weapons were, the attacker was guaranteed to suffer at least some damage while fighting against someone who is defending. But things have changed, especially with the invention of ICBMs and fifth-generation jets.
16916  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: December 01, 2017, 02:00:28 AM
Effects Of Alcohol Abuse For Health :
1. Anemia
2. Cancer
3. Heart Disease and Blood Vessels
4. Cirrhosis of the Heart
5. Memory Disorder
6. Depression
7. Seizures
8. Gout (Uric Acid)
9. High Blood Pressure
10. Infectious Diseases
11. Nerve Damage

The link between cancer and alcoholism hasn't been established without doubt yet. Some of the research findings support such a claim, while some others reject any such link. But the two major causes remain liver cirrhosis (wrongly given as heart cirrhosis in your post) and cardiac arrest. Nerve damage is also another serious condition, but it is rare.
16917  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to prepare for your death? on: December 01, 2017, 01:56:54 AM
You know... someone wanted to sell me a life insurance.

I answered that the day I'll day must be sad for everyone....:-)

But what your wife and kids will do once you die? If something happens to you all of a sudden, then they will face a sudden crunch of cash. And life insurance policies are designed to avoid any such hassle. I agree that the premiums are quite high, as on top of the company profits they have to account for commission for the agent as well. But IMO, it is worth the money.
16918  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy or Dictator ship ? on: December 01, 2017, 01:53:11 AM
dictatorship is a "negative word", always
democracy is a "positive word", always

Not "always". There are a few examples of good dictatorships out there, which did more good than harm to the people. On the other hand, there are hundreds of examples of failed democracies (Pakistan, Yemen.etc). It matters who is heading the government and which policies they are following. The type of government doesn't matter much.
16919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: November 30, 2017, 03:37:31 AM
Nothing is going to increase forever. But I would say that the current rally in the exchange rates is going to last another 2-3 months. Because the interest in the crypto-currency is increasing and the user base is still growing at a constant and steady pace.
16920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 30, 2017, 03:30:47 AM
My biggest fear ever since 2014 (when I first started collecting coins) is that someone would hack into my wallet and steal my coins. That was why I was seriously considering purchasing a hardware wallet. But then, it is also not 100% safe, and it exposes me to additional risks as well. If we store our coins in a hardware wallet, then they can be confiscated by the authorities.
