1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD Vs. USDT on: February 27, 2021, 05:03:19 PM
Is BUSD no much different from USDT?

Which do you prefer?

Both are great stablecoins and using both of them would not really make any big difference.

I think USDT is good in overall platforms, you could easily use it and supported in every different exchange or platform. Using the BUSD is I guess better in the Binance exchange and I think safer than using USDT in the platform because it is supported by the Binance, USDT could experience issues even though it is backup by different companies.

So USDT overall and BUSD in the Binance platform is the easy answer.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this still a good time on: February 27, 2021, 04:47:40 PM
Is it over already or it's not too late to invest in altcoins right now? I'm new to this crypto thing and I've been told to invest in top altcoins or BTC but the market isn't looking so good and I don't know if this is still a good time to invest or wait for red market

It's actually a good time to invest probably even until now, we can see the everything in the market is all red and probably some of the tokens or altcoins are just starting to recover from the dump.

For it's better to start investing already, it's okay to invest and invest we could over-invest in the market but just don't forget to never panic sell, because that is when you actually lose a profit or investment.

Most of the people are struggling to start investing so I suggest start investing now and from that, you could easily learn everything from your experience.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: February 27, 2021, 04:04:11 PM
I think we can't really convince people that bitcoin is not some kind of scams or pyramiding scheme on the internet, its you don't have knowledge about bitcoin probably you have a lot of doubts about bitcoin.

What I do is just explain the basic of bitcoin to someone, and then from that, its depend on them what they want to think about it, mostly if they already started using bitcoin and experience that is where it starts.

In the end, we don't have any assurance on everything from our investment in bitcoin that is why there is a risk in investing in it and we know that we don't know something could occur in the future that could mess everything up.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1NiNja1bUmhSoTXozBRBEtR8LeF9TGbZBN on: February 27, 2021, 02:44:21 PM
It just stacks all of the bitcoin donations in the address from the date that the website is created, the owner mostly forgot about the address or could be intentional to not move his bitcoin.

I mean the website was great and there were probably tons of donations back in the day when the website was still on-trend, mostly there were only small amounts but a lot of donations.

Base on what I've heard from articles and watching youtube videos, from someone who also owns a website and has a donation address, most of the donation addresses are forgotten and probably the owner doesn't know that it has bitcoin.
1705  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dump today and yesterday on: February 26, 2021, 09:13:47 PM
It's a normal correction because in the past week market price is on a rally up to 58k$ without a dump the last ATH as I remember was around 40k$ in the market and continues to skyrocket.

After the Tesla announcement market price pump to 58k$ in just a short time, so this correction is normal I can guarantee it would back up after a few months or even less.

For now, market price could be back already as long as it didn't bring down to 42k which I think where the support is, it is not likely to go below 42k$ if it continues to go down it will probably reach 35k$.

At this time its a good time to hold your position and make a good profit, the market is just so volatile at this moment so you could play your position and make a profit in short term.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: February 26, 2021, 09:04:27 PM
There is a start for everything , so i just get first time scammed and hope last time.
Since few times i follow polkadot env and liked their projects especially polkastarter . it's like the ico's for projects to raise money . I wanted to participate to one of them and got whitelisted to superfarm ($super) to buy in the presale at a good price but sended 0.25 eth to wrong adress . yes i'm little bit dumb they made a clone of their official telegram channel and i get caught . usually i don't do that but we all do mistakes .

the adress of the scammer : 0xC88b5F4aaE1C8f2778DEF2257b6bAf1BA62E4B09

i hope he will die  with a cancer . i lost $447.83USD that's 50% of my humble portfolio and i worked hard to put this money in . i know that there is nothing i can do and i feel little bit down but that's life assholes are everywhere . Whitout this scammers cryptocurrency and the world would be better .

So just a little thought for me . good luck and get your money safe

Scammers these days are everywhere, sorry for your loss but I guess you need to move on and start a new one, learned from your mistakes.

Usually, when it comes from discord, Twitter, or any other social media platforms you need to double-check everything especially if links came from it, I also fell from someone on discord thinking that it is the same website from a private message, he is also in the same channel and gives me a pm, I see the same website but its a clone or a phishing website and I put my private key on it luckily I don't have funds on that wallet.

This is also why I rarely join ICO or presales because of the sketchy websites that is look like a fake one, before I join one I double check everything and look in the internet if its a trusted project.
1707  Other / Meta / Re: Do you click on signatures? on: February 26, 2021, 07:19:41 PM
I guess yes I click a lot of signature ads here in the future and mostly if I'm curious about it or if it is something new and I want to try it.

Also, I find some signature ads when I need to go to that website because obviously there are some fake websites if you want a legitimate website you could just click the signature ads like if you're going to use Chipmixer, there are tons of fake Chipmixer website if you need the legitimate link just click the ads.

The signature advertisement works, it is not really all about just clicking the ads but also more as we could see it, the more we see the signature the more it will affect us, search how advertisement works there are also  psychology stuff as well.

or pwede din naman napinapalabas na lang nilang glitch ang nangyari mahirap din ilaban sa mga nakakuha, siguro dapat marunong sa batas para malaman kunng may laban ba talaga.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing bitcoin is achievement on: February 25, 2021, 06:33:57 PM
I have seen that bitcoin is important and everyone wants to have it even me if I have the money and opportunity to get 1btc I will engage in sincere activity to have it, and bitcoin is viral, because the things I heard concerning bitcoin in news always interest me, but the problem is that what will I do to know bitcoin more better

I think it's better if you start to buy bitcoin already and start investing in cryptocurrency, because soon for sure bitcoin will be overpriced because of giant companies that might, and it will difficult to buy 1 bitcoin or accumulate 1 bitcoin at that point.

It's better to learn or start trading and start to learn more on your way when you already started, you don't really need to learn everything before starting in cryptocurrency and bitcoin you just need to learn the basics, even I don't know everything about it.

You could also learn a lot here in the forum and also ask something if you need help that is related to cryptocurrency and share your experience as well.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 23, 2021, 03:34:38 PM
Many of us are deservedly outraged by the high gas price that has recently been paid for moving ERC-20 and ethereum tokens. However, the solution to this problem is already approaching. In July, in about four months, as part of the improvements to Ethereum 2.0, it is expected that high gas prices will go away, if not forever, then for a long time.
Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1559 is the most anticipated improvement along with increased scalability for the network since the launch of ETH 2.0.
We hope that the staggering popularity of Ethereum will not only recover, but also soar to an unprecedented level.
Link:
https://beincrypto.com/ethereum-developers-eye-july-gas-saving-eip-1559-launch/

It's a good move for Ethereum to launch this if they solve the gas problem in the Ethereum 2.0 project (I doubt), no one could stop Ethereum to skyrocket and get close to bitcoin.

A lot of platforms is considering other networks that have lower fees, other networks like BSC is getting a lot of attention in different platforms and most of the recent launch use BSC network that has much lower fees.

As long as they solve the problem it's all gonna be good even if they take a long time doesn't matter to me, I still use metamask, MEW, and other eth exchanges if it is convinient.

1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we will see a lot of weak hands at $100K on: February 21, 2021, 10:00:10 PM
If BTC will reach $100K of course.

Why?

Because it's a milestone for many.

But not for all.

Don't be weak and give it all to the whales.

Be strong.

There will be a lot of people for sure that are going to sell their bitcoin when the market price rises to 100k, a lot of companies are starting to invest in bitcoin at which would make the price rise.

If you sell your bitcoin early it would be a bad decision, you need to be on the seller's side if that happened, not the one who buys bitcoin because it will be so much overpriced if the time comes.

The growth of bitcoin is just so fast in just 2 months we already reached 50k$ and now almost close to 60k$, I feel like we could easily reach 100k$ in just 2021 or maybe even 200k$.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something to consider when selling your BTC... on: February 21, 2021, 08:43:23 PM
The number of companies and institutions owning BTC will get larger and larger and the number of people holding a nice amount of BTC will get smaller and smaller.

In other words do not give everything to the big whales and try to remain in this select club because once you do it you may not be able to take them back. You may think you can but most probably you won't.

The last BTC will be mined in 2140. This coin is here to stay for you and your kids and your grandsons. Don't get too emotional by the price fluctuations, don't have weak hands and never get greedy Smiley

When tesla announces the bitcoin investment we see how it affects the market, and we could expect more of that if giants companies also invested in bitcoin.

Something like Apple investing in bitcoin could easily pump the market price of bitcoin up to a 100k$ range, we could imagine like Microsoft, Walmart, etc. would invest and try to adopt as well in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still in the process of growth and development, for now, it's always a HODL when you buy bitcoin because we could always expect the price to pump at some point.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: February 21, 2021, 07:23:53 PM
I think right now is a good time or the best time to buy altcoin since it's altcoin season.

No matter what time when it comes to bitcoin it doesn't matter for me its always a good time to buy bitcoin because there is always room for progress and I'm thinking it could easily go up to a million dollars.

Mostly in the altcoin season, a lot of altcoins could go 100x up to 1000x or even higher with a good exit strategy when the market circulates it's always worth investing in today plus there are so many potential altcoins today.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 21, 2021, 06:08:28 PM
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.
My next coins are:

1) Ripple
2) ADA
3) Bitcoin
4) Ethereum

What's yours?

I think it's Bitcoin, BNB, Ripple, Polkadot also SFP.

Bitcoin is just the best cryptocurrency to hold no questions asked, probably BNB is just the best profit that I got recently because of the sudden pump, probably because of the BSC network and token supply burn.

I also invested in Ripple my entry was about .26cents, I already sold some when the price skyrocket to .7centnns but I sell around .6cents.

1716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have a Bitcoin exit strategy? on: February 20, 2021, 07:01:16 PM
Hi, just to be clear I'm bullish as hell for the next few months but I think it's generally accepted that this bull run will probably come to an end at some point this year.

I'm wondering if people here are planning on getting out of crypto or significantly reducing your stake at some point this year and if so what your plan is and where you are looking at reinvesting your funds?

Maybe it's just a different story when we talk about bitcoin, I think for now exit strategy is not the thing for now since we could expect a lot of companies to also invest in bitcoin, or expect for the market price to pump.

When you buy bitcoin it will be for long-term investment, for now, it's all HODL since we are still in the process of growing bitcoin.

And I think exit strategy is just useful in altcoins since that is where you could expect a big drop down in the market price after a few months or years.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lucky Bitcoiner on: February 20, 2021, 06:21:07 PM
On the random note of watching YouTube videos came across this Lucky Bitcoiner whose house is extravagant. Have anyone came across similar lucky persons who are rich enough through bitcoin. I'm completely excited on watching the video, because to own such a mansion isn't an easy thing.
Lucky Bitcoiner

Well, that's pure luck I guess, probably invested when the market price is 100$ or I think even lower than that.

If you think about it 100$ market price up to 57k$ if you hold your bitcoin for years that a fortune. You could probably buy 10 houses like that or even more.

There are people in my country that still have bitcoin and holding it until now after they mine it 10-12 years ago.

Don't want to watch it.
It just reminds me of all the regrets by selling some of my Bitcoin too early.  Grin
Does anyone feel the same as me?

Could've got hundreds of thousands of dollars right now but sadly I went spending spree because my wife needs things for the house.
Well, the good part is "she" is happy. That you can't buy.

True, I just look at my bitcoin history and how much bitcoin I have back then, when I see the amount I should get when I hold that bitcoin it's really big. I just don't know where my bitcoin, it's gone  Grin.
1718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doge or Bitcoin? Which to buy? on: February 20, 2021, 05:19:22 PM
I only have $10000, should i buy doge or btc? Why?

Here's my opinion on both the DOGE coin and Bitcoin.

If your planning to invest a 1000$ the easy answer was to invest it in bitcoin since that is where you could earn a profit easy especially in long-term investment, you can guarantee that price will pump after a few years.

When it comes to DOGE, for me the price pump was just all hype by Elon there is no future for long-term investment in a token that just a joke and no use, investing in DOGE was a complete gamble.

1719  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sudden pump of IOST on: February 20, 2021, 04:48:49 PM

1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a bubble? on: February 19, 2021, 07:43:09 PM
What I know recently is that calling bitcoin a bubble is not true, bitcoin truly increase price and reduce price, but bitcoin still have one thing in common, if the price decrease today, it will increase back later in a way it will supersede the all time high. Many years ago, people that believe in bitcoin only like to hold, thinking its price will increase no matter what because they have fathom how people will still know the true value of bitcoin. 2018 was the worst year for bitcoin as it decrease below what people can think about, which bring the impression of bitcoin being a bubble to be more solid, but in 2020, after Halving, the price of bitcoin increase and now in 2021 the price increase above $50000. I am thinking calling bitcoin a bubble is not right, the right ideal word is to believe that the price will rise even after it falls.

Even if bitcoin still fall, the way it is, people will still go for it which will make the price to increase. Remember gold is once at this stage before, but people invested in it made it what it is today, the world are moving from old era to digital time, very possible bitcoin will be the most successful asset in the next 30 decades. Believing in bitcoin will help as the price will still increase, even if it decrease, it will return back and increase more than the all time high.

I don't think that's it's gonna be the case when it comes to bitcoin, when the market circulates for sure there are pumps and dumps or corrections that could happen in the market.

When the price is so high and it just a big spike in just a short time in the market of course we could expect drops after that as well but not totally to the point where we could expect to reach 0.

Maybe in the case of some altcoins that could happen but when it comes to bitcoin for sure it's different because it has a solid demand and a lot of investors. We could see the supply and demand of bitcoin, with the limited supply of 21million plus bitcoin halving we could expect the market price to increase in the future.
