So, I've just read through the Ethereum, DASH and NEO whitepapers, and I'm astounded at how obvious it is that these currencies would succeed, I wish I had read these when they were announced. Now, I'm looking for some NEW ICOs or altcoins that are either in development now, or have just been released (within the last 6-12 months maximum).
I would like you to suggest your favourite up and coming ICOs and/or altcoins, and explain why you think they are going to be the next big thing. I will be meriting the best answers, and if your answer is truly outstanding I will tell others about it, resulting in more merit for you.
Edit: I have now awarded merit to those deserving it. From now on, please submit only ICOs and coins that have a token cost under $5 per unit, unless the project is extremely strong. I haven't had any stellar answers yet that deserve more than 1 merit, I will be giving 5 merit to any answer that appeals to me strongly.

However, you raise a chicken-and-egg problem: How does the forum know to whitelist a paid user at the login page?
I would suggest allowing the login page some restricted access to the data base, for the purpose of identifying the user type. If identified as a ReCaptcha bypass user then javascript code removing the ReCaptcha prompt will be executed. Alternatively, for the purposes of safety, a second database could be accessed which is generated as a subset of the original (again selecting the bypass users) thus avoiding any vulnerability concerns. This system could be easily implemented with a few IF ELSE statements in the original code. However, there would need to be an alternative security measure in place to prevent brute force attacks, e.g. Only allow a maximum of ~5 password attempts before locking the account for some length.

Thanks For your Message. But i will pay the Moderators through paypal/skrill.
In OP you write that you want to pay 0.1 btc to moderators. Now you write that you pay via paypal or skrill. You start a BITCOIN forum and do not even use btc as a payment method? Who do you want to fool? This is OBVIOUSLY a scam! He probably has no money and will not pay ANYONE.Now this is up to a user's imagination. To be very honest i will gonna pay them. P.S. I am not begging here to everyone to be the Mod on my site. It is a service section here in the Forum and i am introducing my service here. If anyone intrested then only reply. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) -Cheers And in a single post, you have destroyed the credibility of your forum. For future readers, in this thread OP (likely admin, or owner of http://www.discussbitcoin.org) attempted to scam bitcointalk users for the purpose of promoting his clone forum. Unless OP escrows 0.4 BTC do not participate in this application, as you will not be paid.

Hello, it seems I misinterpreted your post, I assumed those requirement related to BTCtalk, rather than your forum. However, in light of this it seems likely that your intentions are the boost the user count and post count of your forum under the guise of screening for a moderator role. If this is not the case, surely you will be happy to escrow 1 month salary for each of the four moderators you seek to employ (0.4btc) and the escrow will release these funds to the winning applicants after you've selected them. This will show that, 1. You have the money, and 2. You are not just cheating people out of their time and effort to boost your forum. Otherwise, odds are that high that you are trying to get free referrals and posts with no intention to actually hire these people. Please prove me wrong. Yeah That's a great idea. But i am not in a mood of providing extra Fees to Escrow . I will give the Salary to the Mods and They will post here when they are selected and received their first payment. Can you sign a message from an address to prove that you have the funds to pay the escrow at least?

The ReCaptcha prompt is sometimes unsolvable, or when it's the one with the fading blocks, takes far too much time to make it worth it.
Sometimes I don't sign in, simply because I can't be bothered to wait 1 minute for the fading blocks to go away. If there was a paid option to bypass the ReCaptcha, I would seriously consider it.

Hello there.
I'm interested in this position, as you can see I am a full member here, I receive more merits than most people due to the quality of some of my posts, and I have excellent command of English. I currently run a lending service on here, and I'm a brand manager for Primedice and Stake.com. If chosen, I'm sure I'll be an excellent moderator. Please shoot me a PM and we can delve further into discussions.

You've got some of the lowest quality posts I've ever seen on this forum. I highly doubt you'll be getting any merit any time soon. I've seen people get negged for giving merit to those covertly begging for merit. This post is easily the longest post you've ever written, which clearly shows you're only posting for the bounties, rather than to contribute.

Extremely low volume coin as collateral, do you have any other altcoins you can offer?

Loan Amount:0.02 ETH Reason for Taking out a Loan: Pay Gas Fee for ethereum transaction Amount to be repaid: 0.025 ETH Repayment Date: 23/02/2018 Type of Collateral: None Ethereum Address: 0x3674f023B945c11Da1C2D2579eE59E528429EB48
I can fill this loan tomorrow, as I am away from my wallet right now.
|
|
|
I can fill this at 1.5% interest, 135% Collateral, auto-sell collateral at 105%.
Happy to use escrow to hold the funds. But we would need to have them set up a stop loss for the collat.

I can match DarkStar_'s terms, but requiring only 140% collateral. I understand I am far less established here than DarkStar, so we can do the transfer in fractions as the BTC transaction fee is very low right now. Also willing to take NEO as collateral. Your collateral will be sold if it drops to <105% of its current BTC value, unless you keep boosting it to 140%.

These posts really irritate me. Surely, even with the most basic of logic people would understand that without some sort of mechanism to ensure repayment, they are unbelievably unlikely to get a loan?
@OP, why don't you activate your second brain cell, and think before you post. Why would somebody give you a $90 loan, with $17 as collateral? You, somebody with absolutely no trust record, no connections on the forum, with two posts. Also, your interest rates are suspiciously high, another indicator of your intent to grab the cash and then dip.
