1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: March 12, 2017, 03:14:02 PM
In my opinion, I think bitcoin and crime has no relations. So bitcoin cannot help preventing the crime.
Bitcoin's just the currency, like others currencies. You know that, people still use USD but we still catch the high rating crime in every country. And with the bitcoin, we have many types of scams,... and cybercrime.
Btw, if you know the way to stay away from trouble, stay secured, you will be safe in the internet. Good luck Wink

Nope you are wrong. Just take bitcoin address is been legal in your country and your government budget ledger under one btc address. In this case bitcoin will save us from this corrupted politicians. If the amount from one to another we can easily identify it then responsible minister should answer for it. This is main reason still any government staying away the bitcoins. It will secure our taxes from these corrupted politicians and officers.
1702  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: First BitCoin Wallet - CoinBase on: March 12, 2017, 02:51:12 PM
Hi All,

We have decided to offer our hosting services using BitCoins as an option.

I have setup my wallet using CoinBase...

What is the general consensus on CoinBase and which wallet, in the communities opinion, is the best one to use?

Thanks!

Thanks to take support btc for your business. If you prefer to use for the personal usage you can choose and use coinbase. Obviously they are good in fees and you can have a multiple wallet under one email sign up but it against your business in the conditions part.

Electrum also have all the same features in coinbase you can operate as a desktop wallet.
1703  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: March 12, 2017, 02:37:04 PM
At first i would say, i dont trust everyone on the net. Bank of bitcoin is means centralized currency, and no one can guarantee it will be fine using it

Yes, it seems to me that the creation of such a bank is an attempt to centralize bitcoin. And I really do not like it. I believe that bitcoin should not be controlled

They can't make it centralized. To make it centralized, they would have to buy all of the coins or at least the majority of it, and then change the technology into something that collects tax right away in every transaction. It will be like transaction fee, but it will be larger since it's tax. Most people are ranting about the "high" fees, which isn't high at all compared to how much you'd pay if you use other stuffs like Paypal. How much more would they rant when there's already tax in bitcoin. If bitcoin gets taxed, it's already a failed project. Most people will use a different coin and when the government makes it centralized as well, they'd just move to another and so on

I don't think that it is ever going to come to that

Though not because Bitcoin cannot be taxed as such (even that in fact may not be possible), but, as you just said yourself, because they would first have to buy all of the coins. If they buy all the coins (let's assume that), people will just create another Bitcoin (with new fancy bells and whistles like SegWit and Lightning Network) and start using it instead of the old Bitcoin, which they have so wisely got rid of. And then "they" will have to buy up this new Bitcoin all over again

Time came already bro. For the first try Citibank creating their first digital currentcy called citicoin. US government seeking permission to enroll blockchain technology under US commerce department. If this achieved, we ll be taxed for using it. I don't think Gulf countries will do the same their citizens. Let's hope bitcoin price should rise more and Government make btc as ledger alone not with the taxation side.
1704  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back to 1,200+ on: March 12, 2017, 01:53:57 PM
i wouldn't call that a "drop below $1000" because obviously it didn't last at all. and also because it was a one time big sell off that ate through the orderbook and that will always happen when someone sells a big chunck of bitcoin or anything else in any market at once.
the important thing was the come back that only took less than a minute to complete and price came back up to $1150 in matter of minutes.

It wasn't that people themselves dumped the price down to below $1000 levels. It was more the result of stop loss order triggering each other, where you see a short lasting deep red candle. I am quite sure that a wealthy entity has done that on purpose. Especially when you also take the massive green candle that resulted in a peak at +$1350 levels into consideration. It's a way to eliminate the "competition" (often referred to as small fishes).

How its dump because of the people. Price is depend upon the supply and demand. There many investment on bitcoin related business and block chain technology from the year 2014.
Sure price will be driven to 2000$ before this year ends. Due to mining reduced in last halving this effects take first in September. From that time to now we are seeing raising face of bitcoins except one dip.

1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your bitcoins are only as safe as your password on: March 12, 2017, 10:15:34 AM
I think I found two great videos on youtube on the dos and don'ts of password creation.  A real must watch. I encourage everyone to watch these and then consider if your passwords are really safe.

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U-RbOKanYs  Also  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NjQ9b3pgIg

If you don't trust my link the video is called: "Password Cracking - Computerphile" also "Password Choice - Computerphile "

If you know of a better video on password creation plz post it.

Edit: would also like to recommend everyone watch "How NOT to Store Passwords! - Computerphile" and "Security of Data on Disk - Computerphile"

No one gonna share their password to anyone. If you do a mistake like keeping hard password and logging in to the site same like blockchain other wallet site means also your funds will be taken out by hackers. Please make proper log in attempt and keep safe private key and don't share your DAT file of tour wallet this enough to be safe.
1707  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: March 12, 2017, 09:45:05 AM
That is a very exciting thing to happen when it will be implemented in my country, because I only know bitcoin cash in via 7 eleven in our place and some in money transfer shops. Most of the thread replies indicates more shops in their place that accepts bitcoin, i think its getting popular in their place and thats so great to hear that btc is widely adopted.

Still you can buying products in online using bitcoins don't wait for it to be widely adopted. Check with purse.io there you can get up to 15% flat discount in every purchase and you can purchase directly from Amazon. You can use bitrefill site also to recharge your mobile number from anywhere in the world.
everything is now much easier. has a lot of websites that accept bitcoin. we just have to wait until sometime in the future more than 50% of online stores using bitcoin. all of that is getting closer to becoming a reality.

Yeah i knew it, Even IT side JPmorgon starts plant for security purposes using blockchain technology. If you look for ecommerce sector sites such as purse.io, shopify.com, overstock.com and aliexpress started accepting it. If you run business need the internet click means also you use with them using SEOcleck.com.
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: March 12, 2017, 04:19:26 AM
Is there a spot where it says what the largest jackpot amount was won by one player?
A leaderboard per se?

Currently there is no leaderboard for jackpot but I've heard that they plan to add one to see the winners in a future update.
If he want to get the info now when there is no any leaderboard then he have to contact to support person of bitdice who is actively supporting their members on this thread he will get the info. That may work but for convenient bitdice need to work on this field as we want to have that leaderboard or hey have to provide the list manually.

First please sign up bitdice and you find the chat moving in the side of the page. This will direct you to have chat with the gamers and boxxb also will be there. You could check with about it. I suggest you to try auto bot for where you can make automatic earning if you win. Please share info leaderboard jackpot. I haven't tried it. Please ping in chat my user id in bitdice is xiiimal.
1709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinbase down? on: March 11, 2017, 05:43:18 AM
coinbase currently down for me website stopped working app stopped working, too much traffic right now im assuming.

Just checked my mobile application and the website., both been working good bro. May be any crawler spike in your region. try now and check, still issues persisting means plug in with any VPN and try to connect with the coinbase site.

1711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN that accepts Bitcoin on: March 11, 2017, 05:15:45 AM
Most VPN accept bitcoin as a payment option nowadays but some of them are private internet access, that service used to sponsor this forum, TorGuard also offers a good service and AirVPN is a good option too.

Yeah all the VPN accepts accepts the most the sites. Some sites may block with the security reasons. Even in coinbase you might noticed when you plg the VPN in it. It will pass the verification mail to email address. Therefore, check the VPN apps to your desktop or mobile to connect using it. I personally suggest to try with Tuxler chrome plugin where you connect any country's location else you Avast safe zone app also as VPN for your pc.
1712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders are pigs on markets on: March 11, 2017, 05:05:18 AM
Yes it is the life of traders, keep on get slaughtered everyday no matter the price is down or the price is up, but after you gain your knowledge and experience you won't be slaughter anymore, you can get slaughter if you do panic sell or greedy, after you doing trading for a long time you will make more successful trading, so you need to be patience to learn trading, when you passed the phase you will get your reward

If you been best in speculation and strategy in making good relationship with the people will make you always in top in trading. I suggest you to have a best escrows in all your trade to avoid the scammers. If possible check with localbitcoins and make neccessary verifications and intialize your trade's minimum and maximum limit according to you wish and start your with lbc who have automated escrow with them.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price hike at an exponential level on: March 10, 2017, 05:27:31 PM
Very hard to say where the price will go in short term but future in bright for bitcoin. The short term trend will greatly depend on the ETF approval or rejection. Expect some correction to $900 levels if ETF is rejected and if approved we may see bitcoin at $3000 or more this year end.

I do not know many people are saying that bitcoin may go to the value lower than 1000$ from the present amount now. Just checked the amount today it is been 1250$. This is massive amount bitcoin price history. Every weekend we can little bump in the chart in some years, but this week it moves more than 100$ in a day.
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: March 10, 2017, 05:12:12 PM
Bitcoin has strong user base community it is because the value of bitcoin price is increasing, even though the government has no control on it. Still, people are believing bitcoin, it indicates that bitcoin has a strong future. The bitcoin has great demand in the market when compared to gold, today it reaches to all-time high price.

Yes, They have believe it because bitcoin already got that status due to potential and price rate in chart. Price will be increase more than present before this year ends. i hope bitcoin may reach 2000$. About government we do not need their help I think. If it under government then they make more number of rules to use the bitcoin in the country and bank also might dominate it.
1715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: March 08, 2017, 06:37:28 PM
Never use bots. Thay cannot make a deal as human mind can
true, sometimes the actions taken very different bot we think. but, it is also commonly used by people who have very little time in playing trading. but, using a bot, have a greater risk than with manual trading.

Bot should not involved in the platform where the money revolves so much. But i have noticed in many trading site automated escrow is been activated by the site itself. Once payment has been done or trade completed then trade is being released by us but amount was hold there only. Its automatically dispute the trade if its not completed by trader who buy or sell it.
1716  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do I buy bitcoins? on: March 08, 2017, 07:46:08 AM
Yes you can buy bitcoin with your visa. Try localbitcoins.com or payza. These two are accepting payment thru visa afaik. Dont know the others. But most of exchanges are accepting visa. And yes you are able to buy with $30 worth of bitcoin. The amount of bitcoin will send to you within 24 hours maximum. If not, contact their support.
visa is been accepted by most of the traders in Localbitcoins. Check the best around your location and make the payment according and receive bitcoins from them. You can use other online money wallet as well it's all according to the trader's preferences. No need to worry about the payment of yours btc will be under automated escrow when you open the trade. Try coinbase or yobit if you unable to find the best price here.
1717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current USD price question on: March 08, 2017, 07:09:42 AM
Wait right now comes down again for $ 900 for btc, just put an order, the candle down should be exactly

It could drop to $900 but even putting in an order at $1000 or breaking it into 2 orders would still give a good profit margin.  Either way is better than placing a buy at $1170

I do not think that bitcoin rate dropped to lower than 1000$. The value today marking around 1150$ and more than that. This would be base value for this year and price won't dump lower than this. Heavy adoption and demand of btc in the market. This is pulling the up. Still many companies are initializing blockchain technology this seems good for btc as well.
1718  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Platforms that sell bitcoin? on: March 08, 2017, 06:50:24 AM
I prefer localbitcoins as its pretty much instant and I can even negotiate with the trader sometimes which is close to impossible at an exchange.

Agree it LBC is the best ever place i know to sell and buy from the traders around the world. Price value might fluctuating in the value if trader buying or selling for 1 btc. Please verify the trader's trust and feedback to know about him. Then proceed trade with him. Normally they higher cost then the price chart amount.
1719  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do Bitcoin traders know when it's the best moment to sell? on: March 07, 2017, 05:53:46 PM
For me it is more of a trial and error. No one really knows how the market will move, they just either sell or buy when they think that it's the perfect timing. However, there's no accurate way to know if the price will move up or down. IMO It still depends on the traders if they pump or dump their coins. Lucky if you gain profit  Cool

Once price reached to peak value, people can knows that via price chart, then they will sell or buy its all according to that only. As of now many people will sell the bitcoins due to its price value being now. but traders buying the bitcoin greater than the google price chart in LBC.
1720  Economy / Speculation / Re: What/who make the price of bitcoin on: March 07, 2017, 05:27:05 PM
bitcoin prices formed by the needs of users bitcoin. at first bitcoin only be distributed after passing a considerable investment, and also pretty big sacrifice. then, once distributed, bitcoin has a price, although the price can be said to be very cheap. up till now.

Value is not based on the bitcoin distribution. Bitcoin price depend on supply and demand in the world market, adoption rate of blockchain technology and reduction of mining blocks. These three factors are bumping the bitcoin value up.
After halving mining process in reduce in half of the amount. From that time to now. price is continuously been increase in the chart.
