I suggest the other members to look into this issue in case they missed out on the new development --> Lafu, Swordsoffreedom, lovesmayfamilis, FatFork, _BlackStar, Eternad, hZti, shawon01, mafoja1, icopress

Thanks for the mention! I took down the flag support. Just FYI, I would've taken care of it sooner but I didn't get any kind of message or notification about it.
1702  Other / Off-topic / Re: White Card entered in Football !!! on: January 26, 2023, 07:47:22 PM
The white card is essentially the opposite of yellow and red cards...

I used to think that not getting cards, like red or yellow, was the opposite of getting them. I guess I was wrong.

Currently, there are no benefits... so players will not really go out of their way to receive a white flag.

A white flag? Like when the ref is trying to show a sign of peaceful intention or they're cool with a truce or something?  Cheesy

Welcome to Bitcointalk and I wish you success in growing your casino here. And good luck to those curious about the game by buying tickets with BNB.

For @ OP, he needs to add more coins than just having casino tokens and BNB to gamble with. It will provide more options for gamblers to try playing on your site.

It looks like you may not have fully read through the initial post and the rest of the discussion in this thread. Just to clarify, the user who started this thread does not have ownership or control over the site in question, so they wouldn't be able to put into action any suggestions that have been made. It's possible that the OP may have some sort of affiliation with the site, but it is unclear.
1704  Other / Off-topic / Re: White Card entered in Football !!! on: January 26, 2023, 11:04:51 AM
Well... I think the introduction of a white card in football seems rather pointless. It's unclear what purpose it serves. Is it supposed to promote good sportsmanship? If so, I would argue that there are already plenty of ways for officials to enforce fair play and good behavior on the field or court. The idea of a white card just seems like an unnecessary and confusing addition to the already established rules and regulations of the game.

And judging by the reactions I've seen on social media, it appears that I'm not alone in this sentiment.
1705  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 26, 2023, 09:57:26 AM
A strange gaming platform claiming in paragraph #23 of its TaC that they are regulated in accordance with the laws of Curacao, but there is no Curacao license, it seems to me that this is just a set of non-binding terms.

23. Governing law: These terms and conditions will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Curaçao.

I have a sneaking suspicion that they may have borrowed their terms and conditions from another website without fully adapting them to their own. This could indicate that the site was put together hastily and and without proper attention to detail, and could also be an indication that the site may not have the best intentions. Of course, this is just my gut feeling and could be proven wrong.
1706  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 26, 2023, 09:43:27 AM
This might be the time for Roobet to also sponsor a football club like some of the other big casinos which sponsor several football clubs in the English premier league and also other leagues that exist and are quite popular, football has a larger fan base than any other type of sport this can make roobet knows better but also needs bigger funds to do this sponsorship.
Maybe the reason why Roobet is more focus on MMA and boxing is the Roobet's mascot is a kangaroo which one of powerful animal. But yeah there's nothing wrong to become a sponsor in football club or just the football player, it's really a great achievement if Roobet can reach Messi or Ronaldo become their brand ambassador. Roobet shouldn't waiting to long too because when the football club or the football player already become an another casino's brand ambassador, usually they can't promote the other competitor site (gambling).
but as far as I know, soccer has a lot more fun out there and if Roobet is looking for one of the soccer teams to be a brand ambassador, so much the better. but this is just my knowledge, no intention to compare MMA with soccer.
and there's nothing wrong if Roobet tries some of these suggestions so that Roobet can become even bigger like other casinos.

Sure, soccer may have a broader fan base, but let's not forget that MMA is also rising in popularity. With a dedicated and passionate fanbase, MMA is a force to be reckoned with. And let's not forget, popularity in sports can vary depending on where you are, so let's not make hasty comparisons without considering the context and audience.

Also, according to Roobet's website, their casino is run by a kangaroo, who as we all know, are known for their love of boxing.  Cheesy
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 25, 2023, 05:36:21 PM
Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?

Yes, it might. If the platform offers unique and addictive games, users may be more inclined to use the platform's token in order to participate. But, that's only part of the equation. The game must also be fun and engaging, otherwise users won't stick around for long. There are also other factors that may determine whether a user will be more likely to participate in the platform's ecosystem, or not. For instance, how easy is it to convert other currency (crypto or fiat) into the platform's token? If a user has to go through several steps before being able to use their money for transactions on the platform, it might discourage them from doing so. The token could also be used for rewards, to purchase in-game items or simply to pay for games. For example, if the platform offers exclusive discounts on in-game items or purchases with its token, that could be a good reason to use it.

Ultimately, it's all about creating a fun and engaging gaming experience for people. Whether users will accept your token as a way to interact with the platform depends on how well you execute on that gaming experience - not just the token functionality.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 25, 2023, 02:40:06 PM
It's not necessarily that simple. The availability of online gambling can certainly make it easier for individuals to access and potentially develop a gambling addiction, but I don't think that is the root cause. There are other factors at play, such as personal financial situation and mental health, as well as regulations and responsible gambling measures that can be implemented to mitigate the risk of addiction. Like the legalization of cannabis, for example. It's worth mentioning that not everyone who has access to cannabis will develop an addiction, as it depends on individual's susceptibility to addiction. It's a complex issue that can not be reduced to a simple cause and effect relationship and requires a multifaceted approach to understand and address.
1709  Other / Archival / Re: Another fake bitcoin giveaway? on: January 24, 2023, 03:30:49 PM

Can you expand this a little more?

Right now you can add block 773400, it will say not mined yet. What would you expect?
Something like "expected to be mined in 10 days"?

Oops, my bad. So it only works on blocks that have already been mined, right? I thought the tool was supposed to do something else.
1710  Other / Archival / Re: Another fake bitcoin giveaway? on: January 24, 2023, 01:17:54 PM
Do you think I should scrap all users who added a bitcoin address in a thread, like this one? Then the user would just paste the URL of the thread in the tool.

I agree with LoyceV, developing a scraper for the entire thread would be a waste of time. There are many potential issues to consider such as someone posting in a wrong format or someone editing the post while the scraper is running... There are simply too many things that can go wrong. It would be more efficient for the contest organizer to manually prepare the list of participants.

I think you need to come up with a better way for selecting the "Target Block". For instance, if someone wants to organize a contest and announce that the winner will be chosen from Block 773400, your tool does not currently have the option to select a specific target block and can only choose a block offset from the most recent one.
1711  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with saxydev; he is a possible scammer on: January 24, 2023, 09:16:34 AM

Did he really found it? Post it than. Still waiting lol

Did you accept the deal? No need to post if you don't accept the deal.  Wink

But seriously, anyone with a brain cell can easily find plenty of options available online. Some of them even offer free options. So, what's the point you're trying to make? Can you explain how your service is different? Are there any features that set it apart? Can you provide an example using a random address for comparison?

Anyway, from what I've seen in your previous posts, I honestly doubt that you have the technical know-how for in-depth blockchain analysis. No offense, but I need some convincing. Show me I'm wrong, I'll eat my words with a side of humble pie.
1712  Economy / Lending / Re: Request 50 USDT LOAN on: January 23, 2023, 03:58:36 PM
In another thread, you accuse a member of attempting to scam you in an exchange of your BTC for fiat, but here you claim that you don't have adequate collateral for the loan. It is clear that you are being dishonest in one of these two situations.

The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

If you completely ignore this sticky and make a loan request with no collateral, without having massive trust on the forum, the chances of you getting negative trusted feedback and therefore having a Trade with Extreme Caution tag is almost 100%.

1713  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: jl33213 SCAMMER on: January 23, 2023, 03:49:40 PM
<...>

It's good that you did not fall victim to a scam. However, I do not see clear evidence linking your story to the suspected account. Could you provide the video of your chat conversation and a screenshot of the matching Telegram account that was mentioned in the post?

Another thing I don't understand, if you have the funds to exchange, why did you ask for a $50 no collateral loan here?
1714  Other / Meta / Re: Can someone clarify please? Why is there a local rule to ban a member! on: January 23, 2023, 02:26:05 PM
Is it correct to ban someone from participating in tech boards because they are posting a lot of constant harassment and misinformation?

Technically speaking, he's not banned and can still participate in Tech board. Also, we cannot make generalizations as this measure was only applied once and only for one specific case.
1715  Other / Meta / Re: Can someone clarify please? Why is there a local rule to ban a member! on: January 23, 2023, 11:15:50 AM
Since I'm not a technical nerd, I really can't say if mods are right on this, however I'd find it more appealing if there was actually some references of such misinformation and the corrected information (reasonably proven by facts, evidence and scientific merits to it) attached to it, that way anyone going to that sub forum seeing the evidence  would be convinced and would avoid further interactions with such person in the future.

You can read a more detailed explanation by achow101 in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193489.msg52782685#msg52782685

I like reading Franky1's posts (some of them) even though I don't always agree with his opinion, but that doesn't mean that his posts belong in the  Dev & Tech board. I like to think of myself as a technical nerd, therefore my view is that every technical board should be more factual and less about opinions and personal views. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for free speech and all that, but as LoyceV elegantly put it, when does it cross the line into spam?

It's important to note that Franky1 still has the freedom to post in all other forum boards, so there is absolutely no question of censorship or political agenda at play here.

1717  Economy / Reputation / Re: Injustice while Tagging on: January 23, 2023, 09:11:21 AM
Then Why Mr Crank,Jawadu,Prasagta has been tagged? Who will be responsible for their reputation?

I gave @MrCrank negative for promoting a fake humanitarian project. Exploiting human suffering and crisis in Ukraine for personal gain is one of the most unethical actions imaginable, and that's why I don't trust such a member. Anyone who disagrees with my judgment is free to remove me from their Trust list.

I recognized @Jawadu from a previous case where he accepted to promote a project that the previous manager had labeled as scam and refused to work with them. Here is the reference. After the QI Scam was exposed for plagiarism, he persisted in defending the project for his personal benefit, as you can see here. A few months later, the token's value to plummet from $0.4 to $0.02. So basically, I'm still waiting for him to prove me wrong.  Wink

As for @Prasagta, I don't know who that guy is and I don't think I've ever tagged him.
1718  Economy / Reputation / Re: Injustice while Tagging on: January 22, 2023, 02:24:52 PM
So am I right in my understanding that the main wrongdoing here is the plagiarized whitepaper?  That's certainly wrong to do and doesn't reflect well on the integrity of whoever's behind the project, but that doesn't say much about how legit MetaMallVerse is or to what extent Royse777's reputation ought to be sullied.
Beside some other red flags like having anonymous team while conducting ICO and generally looking like very little effort and thought has been put into this project, you are right, the reason why MetaMallVerse account got tagged and flagged is due plagiarized whitepaper. Combine those two things and its pretty obvious how this is going to end up.

Not only the whitepaper, but also the website (and most of the content in the ANN topic) is also plagiarized from various sources, but mostly from the Cypherdog project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430836.msg61635556#msg61635556

It's clear from a simple five-minute Google search that this project is nothing more than a simple copycat scheme. They take bits and pieces from other projects without any original ideas or concepts, just to deceive uninformed investors and make a quick buck before disappearing in a month or two.
1719  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - MEMV MetaMallVerse on: January 22, 2023, 12:41:02 PM
Yes, this is a big red flag and definitely something to be cautious of. I did some more research and it's pretty clear that this project has not only plagiarized their whitepaper, but their website[1] as well. A lot of the content seems to have been copied from the medium article of the Cypherdog project[2].

Original source: https://medium.com/@e.kozera/what-makes-cypherdog-stand-out-a2149ae6e471

This is an unacceptable act and a blatant violation of intellectual property[3], and raises serious concerns about the credibility of the project. Anyone considering investing or becoming involved with this project should be aware that it has engaged in such a dishonest and unethical behavior.

1720  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - MEMV MetaMallVerse on: January 22, 2023, 09:19:24 AM
It's been a month since this scam accusation was first made, but nothing has changed. Their website still has a link to the same plagiarized whitepaper and there's still no information about their team, despite what MetaMallVerse promised.

Hello, Thank you for raising this concern, we have hired a new writer group and they are working on the new version of the whitepaper. Next week we are expecting to publish it.

MetaMallVerse, it's been several weeks and it seems that you haven't kept your word. Can you please explain what has been happening with your project and your team? It is very important to be transparent with your community and stakeholders. Your failure to deliver on your promises is a serious concern.
