1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 09:16:07 AM
How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market?
I guess $170000. If bitcoin does not go up to $170000, I still believe that it would make all-time-high which would be in six digits. I mean at least, bitcoin will increase to over $100000.

Minimally and less positively, I think Bitcoin will be exchanged around $70,000 in 2024 with the halving in April next year. Usually it will take Bitcoin about 6 to 9 months after its halving day to break its past all time high and make a new all time high.
But did you know that from history, the next two years after halving is the all-time-high. Maybe or maybe not in this coming bull season, but bitcoin will increase above $70000, according to my analysis
.

It’s really tough to make accurate predictions because so many things can happen that affect price
But in long term guess, bullish predictions are always correct.
1702  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 29, 2023, 07:36:18 AM
The point is just that it is difficult for those sites to know money laundered. This is because money that were laundered are included in legit businesses which makes it difficult to trace.

As for your question. A good gambling site would have made investigation immediately they see someone that deposit very huge amount of money in a way the launderer will not be able to withdraw even his winning, no matter how small the winning is.  Although I think it would be difficult for a gambling site to identify laundered money unless there is an ongoing case about the money and traced to a gambling site account.

Now the point here is that on the gambling site, there are many easy winning bets with odds like 1.01x etc. If the money lauder is sensible he can easily be wagering the whole amount by placing a few bets where the odds are very low and the winning chances are 99%.
Play 1.01 odd 100 times and see that the winning chance is far lesser than 99%. Those odds are only deceiving people to use huge amount of money to bet and to bet frequently.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino on a cruise ship? on: June 28, 2023, 07:11:31 PM
Operating Hours: Do cruise ship casinos operate 24/7 like their land-based counterparts?
Payouts: Are the payout rates comparable to land-based casinos?
Betting Limits: What are the minimum betting limits? I know that some land-based casinos start at $20.
Game Variety: Can I find the same range of games offered in land-based casinos on cruise ships?
I have not played on a cruise ship casino before. But read what is on this link: https://thepointsguy.com/guide/cruise-ship-casinos/amp/

Read the contents on the link and you will see all your questions and many more there.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 28, 2023, 12:06:23 PM
I like sport matches, sometimes tennis, but football most times. The issue I get with sport betting is they are of low odds. The high odd ones are not encouraging to go for because the chance to win such odds is negligible.

Sometimes I can go for roulette which has been the casino game that I like that do not require any special skills, just go for some numbers and either you win or lose after the result is out, it also has high odd.
1705  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin to introduce mandatory KYC on: June 28, 2023, 10:28:37 AM
At last, this is happening. I hope Ratimov will update it on his no-KYC exchange thread. I also hope Kucoin would be delisted from https://kycnot.me site.

According to the news, old users will not be able to deposit, but they will still be able to do some things:

Quote
KuCoin’s existing users will still be able to use services like spot trading sell orders, futures trading deleveraging and margin trading deleveraging. Other available services for existing non-KYC users include redemptions at KuCoin’s staking and lending hub, KuCoin Earn, as well as exchange-traded funds’ redemption.

But all these no-KYC centralized exchanges will have no option later than to make their users submit KYC documents.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 28, 2023, 07:29:28 AM
The article states "ads for online gambling in Australia should be banned" it's only in Australia and not the entire world so I doubt it will have any effect on bitcointalk. If it was a world wide situation which seems impossible for me that would have been a different ball game but since they're only restricting it for those in Australia then it will have effect on bitcointalk whatsoever
One thing I have noticed about this life is that different countries will have different opinions about something. As some government do not want gambling ads all over the sites and places their country people are visiting which is pertaining  to their country, other countries will regulate gambling ads instead in different ways. Some countries will not even regulate gambling ads at all. With what I have seen, it will not be easy to stop gambling ads on this form, this forum is banned in Russia, but Russians visit this forum most because the IP restriction can easily be bypassed and not that gambling is banned in the country.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your rate in betting base on odds alone? on: June 27, 2023, 03:51:52 PM
I'm hoping to make more BTC so the more bets from now on the more chances of winning. I think that's what I'm going to do now before the bull run takes full speed.
Do not gamble because you want to make more bitcoin (money) for the coming bull run, it is just a way of giving yourself a bad thinking that can make you lose even the ones that you supposed to hold. Gamble with what you can afford to lose, not with bitcoin that you supposed to hold.

Regardless of which game. To me, I bet on Soccer but I seem to have lost every day. How often do you win in Soccer games if you just bet based on odds by picking a team with 1.50 and 1.70?
It depends on the odd itself and how perfect the match is after making analyses. That last one I took was 2.2 odds. The last one I took before that was 2.4 odds which was in-play. But I bet in a way that I know that I can lose as well. I can go for 1.25 odds, but I can go lesser than that. What that matters before staking is my analyses.

I do not like going for any odd lower than 1.25 odds anymore. Sometimes I like penalties too which can be of at least 1.2 to 1.3 odds for a penalty played. But penalty can be lost too.

I gamble with very little amount of money, so nothing to think about if I lose.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 27, 2023, 10:54:36 AM
The odds providers will be more accurate when the game is live, so you make a little bit less profit on the game... when you bet on the Live games. (Also, multi betting is almost impossible... with the odds changing all the time)  Roll Eyes
It depends.

Assuming club A has 1.2 odds and club be has 5.4 odds. If the match started and club A has not scored in 10 minutes, club A odd would have increased to like 1.3 odds. But if club A scored, the odd will reduce significantly. I can wait for 15 minutes, maybe the odd for club A would have increased more a little and I can bet on club A.

Also if you are betting on in-play, you will noticed some differences it has if comparing it to betting on matches that are just about to be played.

In-play are interesting but time consuming and addicting. Also it appears like people will not lose money, but people also lose money very well in in-play matches.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 27, 2023, 10:44:00 AM
There are some casinos who plan to scam gamblers when they get big wins. They look for various types of faults of gamblers early and when they find those faults, they can easily block the withdrawal. Complaints of account blocking of some users have also been heard. These situations are faced only when the gambler gets a big win. And the gambler cannot get any information in advance about such a situation. So before gambling you must choose the right platform for avoiding such situations.
Do not be disappointment if you have a small win and a casino, sport betting site or other gambling site do not want to release your money for you unless they have checked your account and make sure that you do not violate the gambling rules. This happen most especially if you have not withdrawn money from the gambling site before. It is not only about big withdrawal, also small withdrawal.

What I noticed about big withdrawal is that, sites that do allow their customers to gamble and withdraw without KYC will request for KYC before the person will be able to withdraw. If you check their terms of service, they will have maximum withdrawal limit amount for no KYC customers included there.
1710  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should we care about the Proof of Reserves of the Exchanges? on: June 27, 2023, 10:34:10 AM
We are not talking about hacking here. No platforms can give that proof that their platform won't be hacked. Still, we use online services. Do you think Bitcointalk cannot be hacked? Bitcointalk was hacked before, and its old database is still available on the black market. Do you see some sold accounts pop up every few days? Those are basically hacked accounts. The situation is you have to choose one worst platform from the ten worst platforms.
You are not getting what I am saying, that people should not think proof of reserve can save an exchange from hack, that they should not still leave their coins on an exchange even if the exchange has proof of reserve. If they are traders, they should trade and after the trade, they should move their coins out of the exchange. If they want to invest, they should use a noncustodial wallet instead.
1711  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should we care about the Proof of Reserves of the Exchanges? on: June 27, 2023, 12:17:05 AM
But the proof of reserve is not proof of hack or hack proof. People should know that proof of reserve does not means an exchange that provides proof of reserve can not be hacked.

I still wonder that exchanges like Coinbase do not have proof of reserve yet but many people trust the exchange. Kraken and Bitstamp too are not small exchanges and they do not have it yet.

To know the exchanges with proof of reserve, check: https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you think will win the Musk vs. Zuckerberg cage fight? on: June 26, 2023, 06:30:03 PM
Hey, I'm aware of the discussion. I'm linking to it in the post, but that discussion lacks a voting feature and I think it is different enough to not qualify as a double-post or spam. That's not the intention, but rather a more effective way to see how we all look at the situation.
The discussion lacks voting feature, but if you read people's discussions on the thread, you will noticed that they are picking who is going to likely win the match. With the odd for Mack Zuckerberg which is significantly low to Elon Musk, some people may prefer to go for Zuckerberg because of the person that is training him and his age. It is just a match that we would enjoy to watch and use just little amount to gamble if truly the match is going to occur.

I see no reason of creating this thread, all that you need is to read what other people are posting on the other thread and see their opinion about the matter. As we are having a thread before that we are discussing it makes your thread not necessary.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you think will win the Musk vs. Zuckerberg cage fight? on: June 26, 2023, 06:16:33 PM
There is no need for another thread about the fight between Elon Musk and Marck Zuckerberg, there is one already that we are discussing it.

The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on?

To avoid spamming and double-posting, it is better you lock this thread.
1714  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] LiveCasino.io Signature Campaign | Sr. Member+ | 100$ p/w, funds escrowed on: June 26, 2023, 11:24:41 AM
This will be a long-lasting campaign with planned duration of a minimum of 6 months.
I have just noticed that this campaign has been a year since two weeks ago during the 52nd payment. It is worth celebrating. Thank you to Livecasino and the Cro2 team (Trofo and cryptofrka).
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 26, 2023, 08:02:54 AM
I think betting on live game is more "pro" thing to do. Most people I see rather bet on games hours before they are played. I think it's very fun experience trying to bet on live games. You can find opportunity to hit crazy odds through live betting. But its not very suggested. As I said that its to be tried when you really know performances and players/teams. Otherwise you can end up losing money.
Betting on sport itself is for the people that have knowledge about sport betting, be it betting before the match started or in-play. If you can be able to make the right analyses to bet on sport matches, betting on in-play will be very simple because no more knowledge requires than to watch few in-play for sometimes and see how they are. I mean watching for sometimes to have better knowledge and experience about it.

Only what I see more about in-play is that it can cause more addiction because football are played from morning till late night which will end with matches in the North and South Americans like clubs in Brazil, Argentina and Maxico. Through a single match, some can stay checking the odds that will favour. But it is very risky than it sees to be, very tricky and punters that have just started may not know until they see themselves losing.

In-play sometimes is beyond performance of players teams, it goes to what the match statistics is showing too, but a match could be changed in a way a team that were playing not good before may later play better and win while after the second team was leading before.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: June 26, 2023, 07:36:23 AM
If someone claimed they have the right strategy for gambling and winning more times than losing, why can't they use the strategy for themselves and change their lives first?
If a punter is not an addict and not gambling too much, but gamble occasionally and look for a better matches to stake on or gamble on better casino games, he may likely win than lose if he uses the right strategies and analyses. But it is good to know that gambling is just about the matter of luck because if he wins, he is only lucky. And because he wins most of the time, there are days of disappointment too. And another thing is that a gambler may win more for sometimes and later lose more. Gambling is just gambling, a gambler telling others that he is winning more is just rubbish because gambling is luck and very risky.

Why did they go around looking for people to teach? This is why experience after following a friend to a gambling group on telegram, but I am not ready to take the step in any other their predictions..
I have noticed this in trading, so not a surprise to see that people are doing it for gambling too. They know people are not wise there are many people that can fall victim of them and be scammed. If the person pay them and they teach him, with him continuing to lose would be when he will know that he has been scammed.

My question for you my friends is are there sport betting groups that gives betting calls that are legit? Because I believe that if anyone knows a way to change their life around, they won't tell anyone, they will enjoy the moments and pray it last forever.
Do not believe on any group, you can just be there to check their free predictions. If it comes to money, avoid or you will be scammed. Go to prediction sites, analyse some matches yourself and just pick like one or two matches and be good, rather than to be depending on someone.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Predicting Sports Betting Future Trends and Technologies on: June 26, 2023, 07:03:42 AM
Do we have to predict on the future? I do not think we need to do that. But we can talk about the modern time innovations that is helping in gambling generally. Example like gambling sites enabling their users to use  bitcoin, altcoins and web3,  the creation of browsing phones, smart watch and the virtual reality devices that is helping in gambling, the use of AI and and machine learning in general. Many of which are not prediction but what that is actually happening now.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin and gambling is gambling, there is no technological advancement here, gambling doesn't add anything beneficial to Bitcoin than gamblers using Bitcoin to gamble on online casinos.
Gambling sites make their users to use bitcoin to gamble, but bitcoin was innovated. That is just an advancement. It can be included, but it is what that has been happening, not future prediction. Since bitcoin was created, there have been gambling sites that have supported bitcoin deposit since many years ago. It is modern but not something new again.

If you want anonymity, Bitcoin is not the right call for it, look into XMR instead, Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and once you send it to a online gambling platform, you are not in possession anymore, the decentralize is broken then.
So how monero is the anonymity coin? Once you send monero to a gambling sites, you are also not in possession of the coin (monero) again, the gambling site will be in possession of the coin. It is true that monero is a privacy coin, but not in this example.

Finding optimal wager based odds using the help of AI makes sense but it still won't stop you from losing money, AI is here to make hard works less of a hard work, things will get easier with AI and it's going to be useful for those that are running a casino too, it's not going to be easy to keep paperwork when loads of people keep boarding a new online casino, AI can do the work easier.
He used AI for marketing purposes in his posts above.

Although some people as gamblers may want to use bots in gambling too. There are way bots are always helpful, but gambling is gambling and it is very risky while the gambling sites have house edge which bots can not break to win overall.

If I am right, Esports are form of competition using video games, like multiplayer where pro players comes together to form a team and go to battle with other team's to win a prize, are you saying you can bet money on a team? If this is what you mean then I haven't seen or heard a lot about this.
If you are watching the in-play matches on some betting sites, you will some games that will end before 20 minutes, those are eSports which you can predict who to be the winner. Some will take just 8 minutes if not less. You can also bet on eSports.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 25, 2023, 06:26:43 PM
If you think a club or a team would win a certain match, you can wait for the live matches to start, the longer it takes to score the first goal, the higher the odds become. This is what I like going for with in-play matches. For other in-play, I do not like going for them.

People should be careful of in-play matches, they are faster to win, which means to lose too is faster. And losing is very common.

What can be most dangerous in in-play are underdog that may be winning with like 2 goals, the big team losing odd will be increasing and the small team odd will be decreasing. But this does not only happen to big teams. It can be big and big team too, or small and small team or any team. It can happen to any club in a way the winning team will have small odd that may attract gamblers, but many of the rematches go otherwise in a way the gambler might lose.
1719  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 25, 2023, 08:22:30 AM
Why do you need an android app for Gambling. Most online casinos have mobile friendly platforms.
Have you tried to use the website of an online platform and their mobile app before? If you have used the website and the mobile app before, can you not see that the mobile app user interface are better than on their respective website? So that is how it is also while talking about gambling. But many users prefer the gambling website on browsers too if they are using a good browsers for it. We can also talk about preference while talking about this.

You can visit any of these websites using your mobile browser and can start playing. You won't find any Android app for gambling as it is banned by Google.
You can not see gambling site apps on Google Playstore, but that does not mean they are not existing, that does not means gambling sites are not having mobile apps, but you will have to go to the gambling website to find out if they have mobile app or not. If the gambling site have a mobile app, you can download it directly from the gambling website. It is not necessary that all apps should be on app store.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 25, 2023, 08:09:49 AM
In my opinion, both are risky. And actually the two may be almost similar when we are not really good at analyzing the market and trading futures. In this case, there are several important things that must be understood and mastered before doing futures trading, because after all we can easily lose our money like when gambling. so, we don't just rely on luck, but indeed the expertise to trade in the future. Personally, to be honest neither of them are for regular activities.
You are right, but gambling and trading are both risky. Trading requires learning and experience and ability to stay on the rules, to focus and be disciplined against emotion just like what gamblers have to do to minimize losses, because if not, it is very risky like gambling too and the loss can even be more than gambling. Both needed discipline. But in making money, I can not consider gambling as one, it should only be taken for fun, but I can still try all my best to use trading to make money. In the process of using trading to make money, it becomes a problem for many traders and they lose just like in gambling or more than while gambling. But both of them can be a regular activity if you know what you are doing. But instead for some people to become addicted, it is better not to make any a regular activity just like you said.
