1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: America Wants to buy Bitcoin 20% adults own it, while 29% willing to buy! on: March 02, 2023, 05:23:47 AM
How can the findings of this study be taken serious, if they only had a group of 2,202 people, with the US having 331.9 million people in 2021? Yes, I know they extrapolate from those figures, but I think the group should be at least 50 000 people or more to get an accurate indication of what the statistics are for Bitcoin and Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes

Also, the geographical area where this study was done, should also be taken into account.... if it was done in more urban areas, the stats will be lower... but in the bigger cities, it will be higher.... because there are more businesses accepting Bitcoin.  Wink
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Loses $400K Bitcoin Bet on Jake Paul’s Bout on: March 01, 2023, 05:58:11 AM

what lessons can be learned by this event?

Well, I doubt that Drake learnt any lesson from this, because $400 000 is to him, like $40 to the average middle income worker. Have you watched any of his previous gambling streams before, where he drops $10 000 000 in one session? .....and still give away $1 000 000 after that?

Drake has so many business ventures and income from his music, he is printing money out of thin air now.... and this is extra publicity for him, because even bad publicity is good publicity... right. (He is also affiliated with Stake.com)  Wink
1703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 01, 2023, 05:50:58 AM
Finally reached the level of Silver. In the way have lost much and in the last 5% to reach the level lost $250. On reaching the level received $50 bonus+ $43 for the wager. The $93 have been used to recover the loss of $250 and ended up losing. Though it was something big loss for a Senior Level, I feel happy inside as I was trying to reach this for a long.

Hey, first of all... congratulations on leveling up to Silver, it is just going to become more difficult to level up to higher levels now. My progression to Gold was very fast, but after that it just become more and more difficult to go up through the Platinum levels.

The reward for doing this, will never be enough to recoup all your losses, but it softens the blow, if you had to lose all of that money. I have played at other casinos, where there are no VIP reward system, so I see this reward at Stake.com as a huge bonus feature.

Enjoy the extra bonuses that come with the higher VIP level, because this reward is just one of them.  Wink
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have any financial regrets ? on: March 01, 2023, 05:40:46 AM
OP, have you done the actual calculations on that "regret" of yours?

Keep in mind, if you accepted that offer and you bought that property, you would have dealt with a lot of extra expenses, namely :

1. Maintenance and renovations of the apartment
2. Paying levies
3. Paying for utilities
4. Paying for transfer duties
5. Paying commission to the sales agent
6. Sacrificing compound interest on the money, if you simply put that into the Bank.

So, it might not have been such a huge mistake, if you take all that into consideration. My biggest regret might be that I did not buy more bitcoins when I first bought bitcoins at $300+  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin weaken the Wests ability to fight enemies of freedom? on: March 01, 2023, 05:23:37 AM
I do not want to say that Bitcoin is not used to evade sanctions, but there are some evidence that it might be happening, but I think the amount we are talking about is small, compared to what is being told in the media.  Roll Eyes

I also see people saying that economic sanctions are useless, but I will take that over full scale war ....any day. It must be seen as one of the preventative tactics to prevent full scale war, so we should not condone the use of Crypto currencies to bypass these sanctions.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC women's T20 World cup 2023 Discussion Thread on: February 28, 2023, 06:46:02 AM
I have to say, I was very surprised with the quality of Cricket that were played by some of these teams. I watched several of the matches and it was way beyond my wildest expectations.  Wink

I actually lost a bunch of money in the final, because I thought the South Africans would de thrown the defending champions on the day, because they were so good in their previous matches. (It is a pity that one of their best batters, where not fit enough to play in the World Cup, they needed her for those 16 runs difference in the final)

Well, congratulations to Australia.... and thank you for a very enjoyable World Cup!
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: February 28, 2023, 06:37:39 AM
Well, if you are signed up or registered with many Sport betting casinos, you will not have any issues if you place smaller bets on those casinos, but new signups will raise a red flag and your account might be blocked.

Do you have friends and family that can spread your bets on their accounts, because that will not put too much focus on any individual? Just remember one thing, the timing for this are also crucial if we are looking at a significant amount of money... because the bets will change the odds, if it all goes to the same team...  Roll Eyes
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎊 Fortune.st Upcoming Updates 🎊 20 Things to Expect (Happy New Year) 🎉 on: February 28, 2023, 06:24:17 AM
It is important to note that No KYC casinos may have limitations on deposit and withdrawal options and may not be available in all jurisdictions.
However, https://fortune.st/ has no such restriction.

Now, you have me confused..... does that mean that you do not have those restrictions now, but that you will have those restrictions in the future?

Also, will this no restrictions be applied to all scenarios or will you restrict gamblers if there are suspicions of illegal activity? The law enforcement authorities will close you down, if you look the other way when people are using your site for criminal activities. (Money laundering)

That will surely not risk our deposits, if they close you down... right?
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A time is coming on: February 28, 2023, 06:03:53 AM
Yes, and Nigeria are not the only country where this has happened. Take Greece for instance.... during the financial crisis, there were a Bank rush, where people rushed to their Banks to withdraw their own money.... but the Banks (centralized) decided to close the doors and to put restrictions on customers withdrawals to protect the Banks.

Now, suddenly people realized that the money in the Banks are not their money anymore, because the Banks control it. I am glad that more people are seeing this in your country and I hope it is helping to push Bitcoin adoption. (The money for the people and for financial freedom)
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bold step to invest my fiat in Bitcoin on: February 28, 2023, 05:54:03 AM
Well, first of all.. congratulations on your first purchase of some bitcoins, most people never take that step....even though they always say they want to do it.

You bought Bitcoin at the correct time, because profits can be made when people buy when the price is low. You are actually very fortunate, because you said a lot of businesses accept Bitcoin in your area, so you can use Bitcoin as legal tender. (Which is supposed to be it's primary function)  Wink
1711  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Casino Website Development? on: February 27, 2023, 06:17:00 AM
I actually do not care if you use HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL or even Python, but just add one thing for me..... "Total Transparency". How difficult is it for a casino to query the RTP parameter and then add it to a real-time" indicator to show the player at what RTP they are playing?

The other casinos just type a text percentage on the site and they think people believe that the percentage typed there..are the actual RTP configured on the site. (House edge)

I hope you will be the first casino that will be 100% transparent. (Set the trend, so that we can make casinos more legit)
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is not trash on: February 27, 2023, 06:04:07 AM
No, I agree....

Fiat (cash) has many uses, for example :

1. Rolling up a banknote to snort Cocaine.
2. Stuffing a stripper's panties with $1 bills.
3. Buying drugs from the drug dealer on every street corner.
4. Paying bribes to government employees and making it almost anonymous.
5. Burning it when hyper inflation creates 1 Trillion dollar notes. (Zimbabwe)
6. Using it for toilet paper, when I run out.
7. Growing bacteria and experimenting with all the filth that it spreads. (Take a swap and grow some cultures and see what is on there)

These are just some of the interesting things that people can still do with cash, but I can add a lot of worst things if I really wanted to extend that list.  Roll Eyes
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 27, 2023, 05:53:31 AM
I am not a big Jake Paul fan, but I think Tommy Fury did not deserve to win that fight. Jake Paul knocked him down and then lose over something as silly as a a controversial points deduction?

This is smelling more and more like something that were planned for a re-match, but who am I to say that.. right? I have to say, the Youtuber's boxing skills have impressed me... so I will surely pay to see the next fight.  Tongue
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: February 27, 2023, 05:40:24 AM
Hi All,

We just launched our new Bitcoin/Lightning LIVE Roulette Site - www.NakamotoRoulette.com

Would appreciate feedback and comments or anything else the community has to say Smiley

-- Nakamoto Roulette

Edit: some common questions popping up I think should be included up top;

- We do not have any KYC nor will we, EVER.
- We will not get a gaming license for a host of reasons including KYC and other limitations.
- We are as anonymous as possible, private and confidential and share no data to anyone. ever.

some immediate features being implemented are;
- Instant deposits and instant automated withdrawals.
- All players automatically get a 'share code / affiliate link' which they can gain back 50% of GGR (revenue) month-to-month for any players they invite or attract.
- Many many more games (and not just Roulette).

I am quoting your original post for the sake of prosperity, because we had several casinos that started with those goals and they eventually bend the knee to the regulators and they were forced to implement KYC regulations.  Roll Eyes

You are giving out a lot of information about yourself, with the projects where you were involved with.. so it should be easy for the authorities to track you, if they follow those leads. (when they want to force you to regulate your casino)  Roll Eyes
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the IMF Qualms With Regulating/ Banning Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2023, 05:31:42 AM
The The International Monetary Fund (IMF) have certain goals... namely to secure financial stability of the US Dollar in all the countries where it is used... discouraging policies that would harm the prosperity of the United States and international monetary cooperation (making sure countries use the US Dollar)

That is my summary of their goals.... not their actual goals... but you should read between the lines, when I do this, because that is the reason why they want to regulate/ban Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 26, 2023, 06:59:08 PM
The Clients Seed and the Server Seed and the RTP and RNG does not care about your feelings, it just plays out the way it was supposed to do.  Wink

I think the important thing about emotions are "clear" thinking... so if you are losing and you are pushing to regain your losses, you go into degen mode and you lose more.

Do not bring any emotions into gambling, just have fun and let the client and server seed do it's thing... your destiny are already decided for you by the casino.  Wink

It's the weekend 🥳

What would you do with an extra $50 in your Stake wallet?

Well, I will do what the Brain always says in "Pinky and the Brain" ..........

Pinky: “Gee Brain, what are we gonna do tonight?” Brain: “The same thing we do every night, try to take over the world!” Google it, if you are too young to remember it.  Grin

So, I will do what I always do.... push it back into Stake, but enjoying it.  Grin Grin Grin
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 26, 2023, 06:40:28 PM
You should not be bothered about what is done with a gift, if it is your real intention with the gift. The goal of a gift is not to force someone to hoard it, so that they can make a huge profit or to meet the gifters goal.

I gave bitcoins to many of my friends and family for Xmas and for their birthdays and most of them sold it or used it .. I know this, because I have the Bitcoin addresses and I can track the coins.  Roll Eyes
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 25, 2023, 09:42:03 AM
And Talking about the next semi-final I would say we are going to see Australia and England in the final.
Our predictions have gone wrong! South Africa has dramatically won the match against England and entered in the final match. The 18th over has changed the game today, England lost 3 wickets in that over. Now Australia is favourite in the final match. I lost my bet by placing it with confidence on the England women's team.

I am curious to see what you guys are going to bet on for the final between Australia vs South Africa? Australia are the defending champions and they have already won South Africa convincingly, but South Africa are on a roll now and they have home field advantage, so it is going to be a tough one to call.

I am going to place a small bet on South Africa for the win, because with the odds against them... I could win a large amount if they surprise us once again in the final.  Wink
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: February 25, 2023, 09:36:04 AM
That's a story that inspires, many gamblers hoping to get what you have experienced, bet a few but can win a lot on sports betting, being able to see the account balance of our sports betting to be green is really fun and I've seen other members succeed in that too bet tens of mBTC and end up with thousands of mBTC.

This is why I think it is better to stick to sports and not casinos. You should play casinos for fun and sports to make money.

Well, it depends how much you know about Sport... right.  Wink

Yes, Slots are a total waste of time, because the RTP and Volatility make it almost impossible to win against the house.. but some table games with a little bit of knowledge, can be profitable too.

I see you compare investment options like property vs Bitcoin, but you base your opinion on you jumping in close to a all-time-high. I bought bitcoins at $300 and sold some of them at $60 000.... which is pretty good profit, if you can time the buy correctly. (hoarding = zero effort)  Grin
