1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Coinbase Adding SegWit is Huge News for Bitcoin on: February 22, 2018, 04:29:55 AM
Because lot of users using coinbase as their wallet and make transaction from their itslef but they not yet upgraded to segwit so the transaction fee is still high in the coinbase wallet when compared to other walletmso it is a good news that coinbase is gonna implement segwit too.
I will help the unconfirmed transaction under control because transaction happening more faseter than the legacy address. But there is nothing relation between the news and the price drop maybe the users still not aware of this news.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 05:49:13 PM
Im wondering what are the advantages of bitcoin than any other coins? I have been using bitcoin for almost 2 months already and I still don’t know what its advantages. Please share your thougths.
The biggest advantage of bitcoin is its price growth because most of the peopleusing bitcoins as an asset so you can make profits by holding your bitcoins in long term. But there are other coins also having the same or more advanced feauture in terms of technolgy but the bitcoin was already recognized than any other coins so there chance of losing your capital in bitcoin investment is less than the other crypto investment.
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most overvalued coin? on: February 21, 2018, 05:28:04 PM
Interesting topic, but the prices of coins are only based on its supply and demand so when there is high demand for that coin the coin will be over valued. So I will say bitcoin is the most over valued coin since there are lot of other coins have better feautres than bitcoin but still bitcoin is most expensive coin. The only reason for this is bitcoin was the first ever crypto invesnted but it may change in the futre.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check bounty legit or scam?? on: February 21, 2018, 03:23:30 PM
We can get the idea about their bounty by researching about their project because if a project is legit then they will also offer legit bounty programs, but no one can find them until it get turned it into scam or pay us after the ICO ends. But if the bounty is running with the reputed manager then the chance of scam is less so you can join there with no worries.Because they may already researched about that project.
1705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wallet on: February 21, 2018, 02:29:14 PM
Is there any wallet that's also offering trading or something like that?
blockchaininfo wallet comes in with builtin exchange so you can buy and sell bitcoin and ethereum with in the wallet itself, but all the exchanges will alows you to store the coins where you can trade your crypto currency. But a wallet with a privaate key access don't have trading option(I think). So you need to be clear with your topic you are searchong for a wallet or an exchange.
1706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: February 21, 2018, 09:08:31 AM
FIrst of all the OP is talking about trading or investin g I am little confused to understand the OP and the tittle. Huh

By the way long term investing is the best way to make more money from crypto currencies but investing on short term can help us make good money but we need to change periodically to differenct coins if you want to invest on short term so it needs more effort and analytical skill. So I will say long term investing is best.
1707  Other / Meta / Re: Can a bad post recieve merit and then be deleted to hide it, and KEEP the merit? on: February 21, 2018, 07:25:47 AM
I just ran across this, is this a new way to hide abuse?

1) Create a post that says 'blah'
2) Have a friend (or alt) send it a lot of merit
3) Delete the post to hide the bad content
4) Keep the merit points

Edit:

I am NOT ADVOCATING this, I think I just saw someone with a deleted post that still had 18 merits attached to it.

Yes you are right there are some smart abusers can do like this but he can't do like this forever then he will get caught by the DTs maybe he can do once, but if he do more time then it will become suspicious.
But still lot of changes will come into the merit system as per theymos statement it just a trial run so new upgrades will rectify these kind of problems.

I think it is better to burn that recieved merit if the post was deleted so spammers can not do anyhting like this.
1708  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which is better for cryptocurrency: Coinbase or Gemini? on: February 20, 2018, 12:38:21 PM
For reliability .. I’ll always prefer Coinbase
If you are completely new to the crypto currency field it is better to use coinbase because it has user friendly interface when compared to other exchanges and it has only four coins so it is not confusing too much for the newbies. But in my country the coinbase exchange is not available yet so I didn't use it personally for buying cryto currency and I never know about Gemini which is an exchage or what?I always use local exchanges because it has less fee.Blockchain.info wallet also coming with built in wallet hwere you can buy ethereum and bitcoin so you may try that also because fee is way cheaper.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Officially Legalizes Bitcoin will this make a good correct in btc price? on: February 20, 2018, 08:44:25 AM
what u think frds will this will make good correction in btc price
It will be better if you can provide the link to that news. Smiley

But if it is true then it may encourage the investors to buy more bitcoin since the price of crypto currencies are also recovering so you can now make profits by investing on the right time. And I heard that India also taking steps to regulate the bitcoin in their local exchanges so countries started to accept bitcoin so yeah bitcoin era started now and people can invest on it without fear.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin predictions rise in what month ? on: February 19, 2018, 03:36:59 PM
No one really knows it buddy, because the crypto market getting more unstable everyday and the prices are swinging more and more but normally bitcoin price is in downtrend at the beginning of every year and this happened this year also, but lost of experts predicting that bitcoin will hit $30K at july of 2018,I don't know it will become true or not but now the price started to recver and reached $11K after the horrible run,so hopefully bitcoin price staterd to rise in February itself.
1711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 19, 2018, 07:54:03 AM
Recently few days i am worried about cybar attack dec 25 i was lost my valuable token. Now i am confused and ask a question in my mind mew can be hack? please give me any suggestion i am afraid now.

Every wallet can be hacked but mostly because the owner doesn't care about their wallet. They never fix their attitude about how to protect their wallet. Such as, they click link into MEW with out check the address correctly, use another device or network to open their wallet, last one is their data really stolen from their pc/ laptop. This is modern technology and everything could happen just do what is necessary to protect your wallet. Good luck with you.

Because we're now in the era in everything is possible and hackers always think ahead of us. So the least we can do here is being cautious in everything we do and don't use private keys instead use metamask for logging in MEW. We're all responsible and be mindful in everything.
Yes,we need to take care of our money because now a days hackers are everywhere so keeping your system offline is important because the chance of getting compromised when it is online.Yes we can track our token balance using etherscan then we can reduce the chance of getting hacked. But the most impostant is to keep our private key secured like a paperwallet then no hacker can steal it.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Campaign Management & Promotional services on: February 18, 2018, 03:07:51 PM
What do you mean by WE? Who are they,if you can list them then you may have projects. Smiley

But do you have any experience before since your account is newbie so no one can hear the voice from newly registered accounts if you are really expert in the service then you have to prove it.And your theread also looks not attractive so you may add some more feautures to attract the people towards you.

If you can,it is better to move this thread to the service section where people will look for these kind of services.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have around 8000 BTC,but my country are too small cap to cash out on: February 18, 2018, 01:15:29 PM
Guys,

I'm from Malaysia, and I brought 8000btc when many years ago(and glad that I still have found back).

I'm looking for cash out all the btc I have own now,it is about 100 million usd fund, but I don't think my country market have support that huge of volume,I do my research found that exchanges in Malaysia are really small, big exchanges like only bitfinex and coinbase can support that much of volume, but it can't use their service in Malaysia, and I'm not US citizen.I don't know what to do now.

I'm really frustrated knowing I own that much of money but I can't cash out due to my country is not popular with this coin, any suggestion for me? Whoever can help me solve my problem I promise to gave him 50btc after I manage to cash out.A man will keep his word.

——————————
updated: 6.1.2018 4:54pm

what country that can support 100 mil usd withdrawal?

I'm actually have thinking about open an US bank account, but I'm not sure whether I can withdrawal that much of fund from exchanges to my bank account or not.

I actually don't mind paying tax fees to US or Malaysia gov whatever,I just want to have a cash out plan.

It is not a good idea to cashout all the bitcoins at the same time because many governmets are freezing the bank account who earned lot of money from the crypto currency but I think it is possible in US but they are charging upto 40% taxes for crypto currencies but you said you don't mind that.
But I think you can do it by yourself buy selling it into the localbitcoins.com  by small, small amount into different bank accounts. It may take time but it is worth to do because earning money is not a easy job now.
1714  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you keep safe BITCOIN? on: February 18, 2018, 09:44:13 AM
suggest some easy ways?
As far now the safest way to keep our bitcoin is in the hardware wallets but it is not available for free,so if you are looking to store more than one bitcoin than you can afford to buy a hardware wallet which cost about less than $100.
Or you can use electrum wallet one of the best wallet and it is available on android platform too,so you can install electrum on your desktop and move you bitcoins to there and now electrum offers segwit address too so you can have cheaper transaction fee.
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: February 18, 2018, 06:36:28 AM
You should have the time to read their OP or you really probably don't deserve their time or merit; would you say that's fair?

It is very clear what the rules/expectations are in the OP. I would answer more directly, but all I would do is quote OP entirely.

I already read the OP and here is his/her statement:
Quote
You will ask me to research your post history and direct me to 10-20 posts that you believe show you have a deep desire to learn about, use, and support bitcoin. I will then ask you a couple of questions about how bitcoin works and you will answer them. I don’t care if you take some time to research the answer if you come up with the correct answer.

From this I can understand that he will search our post history by himeself but most of the people are posting their links to their posts includes you thats why I asked like that bro.

You’re right, I do look at all of your post history. I ask you to list posts that you feel deserve merit because you may need help understanding what is valuable enough to receive merit. If you can’t figure out how to post effectively you will never receive any merit other than what I give you in this thread. I’m not giving away enough for anyone to rank up without additional work.

You are an example of this concept. Your posting style is either very fast and you don’t spend enough time reviewing or English is a second language for you. You will need your average post to become more intelligible in order to rank up.

You say repeatedly that bitcoin is the “king of crypto” so I know you appreciate bitcoin but you are very much an altcoin supporter. I believe you primarily came here to make money but are attempting to really participate in discussions, at least in the altcoin sections. I’m afraid I can’t award you merit right now. You’re going to need a little more history before I can help you.
Thank you for giving your worthy time to reviewing my posts. Smiley
Yeah english is not my native language but I can say that I am really good at speaking in english because I am an graduate from one of the top university in the world.Yeah,I agree that I am still rookie in the crypto world.
Yes,I know bitcoin is the king of crypto and it will be forever(in my opinion). But I support altcoins too because it is also important for the future of bitcoin,if bitcoin is the only crypto made then it will become unusable due to high demand, like what happend at end of 2017 high trnasaction fee and days to wait to get a confirmed transaction.
Yeah I will contribute all the way because I have more free time to spend on the forum than before and I am not really concentrating on getting merits. But I would like to participate in the Q/A,I hope I can answer it and get some merits. Smiley
1716  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watch me gamble with your money, (possibly) naked! on: February 18, 2018, 05:01:36 AM
I think she is offering a legit service because some of the guys are already confirming about her services. But I don't think most of the people in this forum are not interested in these kinds of services but some may,but your price is too expensive than a real sex. Roll Eyes

But why many guys giving merit to her,is she got that much quality post or bOObs. Grin

But I am sorry I don't want to take your service because I can get more beautiful girls than you on other sites. Kiss
I wouldnt do this '

Well I can vouch that OP is legit, here is my review:

Well, I ordered a 7 minute forced blowjob/deepthroat video, and her fwb, or partner; whatever you wanna call him, had literally a 2.5-3 inch penis at the most. I am positive it did not even make it to her throat. The camera angle was also so horrible, I literally could not see a thing, as you can see by the screenshot, but normally throughout the video his hand was not there... The whole point of a BJ video is to see the face, and I could not. I saw the neck and some tits. Would not order again.

I am pretty certain i would not be entertained with him fucking her either, but she probably can do some solo stuff pretty well I am guessing.

Theres nothing in her first thread, link here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2834674.0
about not showing face or else I would not have ordered it.

Because OP doesnt mention she wont show face

Why are you consistently spamming my threads with old and irrelevant info?
Because you and your partner failed to satisfy him and he lost his money. Cry
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Google Play no accept Bitcoin to Buy Stuff Apps on: February 17, 2018, 07:07:10 PM
Someone know why this company's no accet BItcoin like a Payment Method?

Google Play App
App Store IOS
Netflix
Spotify

And another big companys.
I will say simply it takes time,we are still in the early stages guys so it take more time to adapt to the digital currency system. Most of the companies are not accepting bitcoin or other crypto currencies mainy because of its price volatility.I hope by the end of 2025 most people will start using crypto currencies more than now so they can buy what they want with crypto itslef, until that we can do is just encourage the merchants to accept bitcoina s their payment.
1718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrencies have taken the upward root. on: February 17, 2018, 03:56:31 PM
Crypto worm has started crawling upward, more or less for every coin. This time it took more time to recover but finally it started recovering.

Would BTC be able to reach where it was by March?
I don't think it will reach that price where it was in the end of 2017 in just one month because I think it needs more time. But I am also seeing that the price is recovering hopefully it may hit $20k again at the end of 2018 or sooner.
But we have to wait maybe another crash again because lots of governments are implementing taxes on bitcoin when some governments implement the regualtion the price will crash again,so we have to wait and see what will happen in the coming days.
1719  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your Bitcoin "Normal" price??? on: February 17, 2018, 01:11:11 PM
I voted for above $15k and for sure that will be seen, we have to wait for a couple of months or even after a year.
I hope the price of bitcoin can reach 25K this year
Let's wait for it and that's a very possible price to be seen for this year as every price now in bitcoin isn't impossible to be reached high or low.
Yeah I think it is possible to reach $20K or more in this year because the price keeps recovering after thehuge crashes now people started to hold the bitcoin which is really a good thing we can see that from the number of unconfirmed trasactions in the memepool was very less.
But I think it is the right time to buy whatever the price because soon the price will gonna shoot up like what happened in 2017 and the chances of price crashing again is less since more people started using segwit so the chance of climbing again the transaction fee is less that is the main reason for the bitcoin crash since 2017.
1720  Other / Meta / Re: Where are the merit sources? on: February 17, 2018, 12:36:52 PM

The main issue is likely an issue with bubbles. For example, I only really frequent the Dev & Tech and Technical Support boards because those are ones that I moderate and find interesting. Thus the people I will merit are going to be people who post in those boards. This means that there are going to be lots of people who I don't give merit to because I don't every see their posts. So some merit sources may simply not be giving merits to high quality posts because they don't even see them.

Furthermore, there are some threads which may contain high quality posts but the thread itself is garbage and just shitposting threads. I tend to ignore these threads, and even if I were to see a high quality post in such a thread, I won't merit it because it is in what is effectively a shitposting thread (this has happened a few times as there are some shitposting threads in Dev & Tech). Merit sources may behave in a similar way.
But I hope the work of merit source is to reward the good quality posts so they have to find it where it is.I don't say about mega threads which contains more than 20 pages, but it is not hard for them to read the replies with less than 5 pages.
If still they can't find the quality posts then what is the solution for it increasing the number of merit soureces for each and every section may helpful.
Yeah just like QA said in my thread (and i like how he thinks), there is no board boundary to gives merit, so if people giving their merit on meta or local board, i guess it is not a sin, local board has some people talking about bitcoin too. That is why i asked you, why dont you try to ask people of bitcoin discussion to give merits?  Why dont you engage people there instead of accusing the merit given in the meta is not well deserved.
See you dont get what i have said. You said that merit failed to fight spam, i said it cant be succesful if there are no adjustment in other aspect like campaign rules, and im just saying an example of rules which can make all the shitposter gone, since most of them all here for the money, they will leave the forum once they feel they cant apply to a bounty/campaign because getting merit is hard, or they will grow up and become a good poster, then the shitposting and spamming will be reduced.
I like your thread, and I am not angry at you or the other people on the meta section,I didn't say it is a sin to merit in meta but you don't get my point the merits are only circulating in the meta section.

Why I have to ask to people for merits? and begging for merit is a sin in my opinion.
I thought we have merit sources for every section and their work is to find the quality posts.

I am saying to all the legendary members engage into the bitcoin discussions too other than meta section which is only about the discussing about forum not about bitcoin.

Yeah we need to change the rules of the signature campaign or it is better to completely stop signature campaigns from our forum then all the shit posters will fade away.

Yeah right now merit is only circulating in the meta section, because there are so many "talks" happened in the meta section, while bitcoin discussion is a home for "replying OP only" thread, maybe it is not all but the majority is. Once the topic is increased in quality, and there is a "real talks" there, maybe higher rank members will play at bitcoin discussion. That is what i propose in my post before, while looking to why meta is meritted heavily, i guess we should look at what is the problem with bitcoin discussion too.
If you really love that board that much, i guess you could make a merit giveaway thread for that board specifically or gives merit to a worthy post, that way you will make people there engaged on a merit activity (receiving and giving) so in the future there will be more merit circulating in there, and people who doesnt get merit there will learn that themself is not worthy of merit, they will leave or learn, their choice, both will make bitcoin discussion better.
But I think we have merit sources for all the section so why they are not giving merits too that section, that's why I am asking where are the merit sources.Yeah I really like the merit give away but wanna tell you something, here it is what I have
Quote
You have 2 sendable merit (sMerit) which you can send to other people.
So I can't start a merit give away with 2 sMerits.
1) Merit sources might be from different countries. And thus they will be active in all time zones. I have got merits on my posts made at different time intervals.

2) Theymos is adding more merit sources as per the need.
I checked your merit history too, most of them came from META section only, that;s why I am asking where are the merit sources.Even if they are working all the timezones still they can't find quality posts in other sections.
