1701  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: November 02, 2022, 11:19:20 AM
More power social media can give him huge power because he can do all what he want without anyone censoring him so I guess this is smart move to him because at the moment he can spread anything information he want to digest by his followers. And indeed this one is good to follow since we know that Elon is active on cryptocurrency so maybe he will bring up something cool on Web3 or other upcoming upgrades on cryptocurrency scene.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 02, 2022, 09:35:31 AM
I really felt bad watching that fight, Anderson Silva 15 years ago would have completely destroyed Jake Paul. The fight was very close, I really wish Anderson Silva would have won. At least he took the loss like a real man, saying that he goes home and trains some more. We can't change the past, but if Anderson would have ended his career in his prime, he would be the greatest middleweight UFC champion of all time. But then again he was paid for all the fights and it's still his job. Kind of sad that Jake Paul doesn't fight against people of his own age. If he feels so strong why not start offering rematches in Octagon? I am sure the fans would love to see MMA fight with Jake Paul. Would be a nice way to make my losses back and finally see Jake Paul lose a match.

The unfortunate Anderson has not only continued to fight in the UFC in his relatively old age, he also continued fighting despite a series of losses. Poor legend. Not only that, after he ended his UFC career, he shifted to professional boxing losing 2 of his 5 fights and even faced a much younger opponent in Jake Paul.

Has he not made enough money in the UFC to stop fighting altogether and retire from sports for good? Possibly, we all know how Dana shares his profit even with his prized fighters and champions.

He's career will totally end here since its huge lose for him to get defeated by a youtuber. I don't expect to see him fight for another match because its like he's totally done after this huge defeat he encounter from Paul. We can say that this is really an unfortunate state for a called legend and he need to retire with that status since if he keep losing for an exhibition match for sure people will mock at him and ignore or forget his legendary status earned from UFC.
1703  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: November 01, 2022, 10:04:33 PM
I feel like we are getting a lot more people who complain about casinos in bitcointalk these days. I am not saying that it’s wrong, if there is a problem then it makes sense. But wherever I go, in all of the casino topics, there is a guy who would call that casino a scam and try to warn people to stay away from them.

I am sorry but I do not think that "all" casinos are a scam, which means some of these people are wrong and their complaints could be legit but just because you have something to complain about doesn't make the website a scam right away. There could be troubles, and even maybe mistakes could be made, but if it’s not a general thing about the site, that’s not a problem.

Don't give any weights without any basis of their claims since if they just put that claim without any proof the they are just purely trolling maybe they lose their money by playing and its part of their revenge.

If we know the casino is reputable so those guys post will not be valid not unless if they brought solid proof to support whatever claims they posted.
1704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No social media is safe on: November 01, 2022, 11:10:56 AM
Re: No social media is safe

No social media is safe.. because these types of scams are mostly spread through social media sites in the first place. And scammers will find more and more enticing ways to find victims; so the only real solution here is to think realistically and in a non-delusional manner.

"if it's too good to be true, it probably is."

Anything is not safe in cyberspace. Most scammers will target those high audiences like social media and other platforms since there are many people on it, and they can find the target easily. I can't imagine scammers nowadays exert a lot of effort like it is their job to scam you. They will spend time and a lot of flowering words to scam you, and still, some people are not made aware of this modus. When someone tries to ask you to invest in it, and your money will be back in a small period of time without any effort, then you should be cautious and have a background check on it.

One of few reasons why we need to put more detailed information on our social media handles since it can be a good indicator to them that you are a nice target. So better stay low key and always use social media as your means of communication so that you can avoid to get scam or getting any harm by people who always do crime using the modern tech nowadays.
1705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: November 01, 2022, 09:14:08 AM
You can visit multiple signature campaign threads on service section and from there you can calculate how much the Hero - Legendary member earn per week or per month for participating on signature campaigns. Also Joining any campaigns now is not easy since there are so many requirements or rules need to follow or to have before you will be chosen to participate on their campaigns.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 03:22:45 PM
Ideally, gambling houses should not disclose the identity of the person who won big without first asking him. Unfortunately, this is not respected always.

Those gamblers who do not want their information to be public, but the gambling houses make their names public, can go to the court of law as this is a serious offense. Gamblers can claim damages to the gambling site on this basis. Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?

I think its not a problem if only the first name has been shown since somehow they do that for marketing purposes. Maybe the winner should be happy especially if the casino pays his huge amount of winning since this will not happen to scam casino.

But if the case they show the whole name of the winner (which I didn't see yet happening) then maybe they can sue them for risk of the action made of the casino since somehow its really risky to be shown to the public  that you won such huge amount of money to them.
1707  Economy / Speculation / Re: There will be more down - bearish on BTC on: October 30, 2022, 11:27:24 AM
It seems that the market is immediately rising so I'm sure the price will skyrocket starting in October now, it is proven that this week the price has gone up more than 8%, not much time to wait and we should buy a lot before the price becomes more expensive.
Even though buying when the market conditions still look red is the best option ever this year, why buy when it is experiencing an increase like now? Because when there is an increase in the market, it is actually an opportunity for those who are already buying at a low price and placing a sell order at the price they want. Although it is still possible to buy again in its current condition, it is more effective and better to buy before the upgrade.

If you do it for spot trades maybe you cannot earn huge on small changes not unless if you are a whale which trades daily huge amount. But if you are only trade some low amount much better if you do it on futures because you can feel the certain effect base on what leverage you set. But for long term its best to buy when market is crashing and don't look at the next happening since what's more important is the next bull run since for sure we can earn once bull run will happen again.
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: October 30, 2022, 10:02:36 AM
I decided to bet big today on allen orland made around 1500 usd in profit today. On a  fight.

https://www.loom.com/share/b6e6e779f2554471946f76092bde6495

Congratulation for that win and for deciding the gambling site to take revenge on your win. Very few people hard to decide to do the same action since other people might do bet more if they win such huge amount the same what you earn.  Anyways hopefully you will not break your set timeline because for sure there are to many big events which can tempt you to bet again.
1709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin And Ethereum Strategy In 2022 on: October 29, 2022, 01:24:51 PM
Your post is better suited in the economics section or maybe altcoin discussion.

About the best Bitcoin strategy? That would be Holding if you own some of it or buying if you do not at the current discounted price

You can of course also diversify to other industries which are profiting more during these bear periods.

In case of Bitcoins, it will be better if OP holds it as much as he can. As currently Bitcoins are down to 1/3rd of it’s original price. So holding it will be the best Option.
Regarding other industries and coins, I won’t suggest the OP to invest without any prior knowledge. Also currently due to the bear market many altcoins are in danger, so it won’t be a great decision to add those alts in the bag.

Needless to say that we need to be more careful on investing especially with alts since we don't know yet if they get a bounce back once bitcoin market goes more better. If they save more bitcoins when bear market take effect then its good for them and somehow this is good to hold knowing bouncing back is normal traits with bitcoin.

But even though it has a traits like this they also need to do their own research about volatility since maybe from researching they can save time to use on researching more wild crypto contents.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 29, 2022, 11:48:07 AM
It will be a big problem if Charles will chase him trying to claim half of the winning amount. It's only a slip, there will be no proof of Charles's claim that he has a part of the bet amount.
Even if it goes to court, he will not win.
All he could do is ask Kelvin about being a true friend. Maybe make a dramatic script and just try to take back the ROI and maybe some win if he will be touched with the scripted dialogue.  Cheesy
Break that friendship afterward, and learn from the mistake.

I hope there will be some proof of their partnership I mean that they both have the agrrement that whatever may happen they will get the half half of the jackpot, but if not he can talk to Kelvin it is really sad seeing your friend being so selfish about the the thing that you must have as well.

Money can change people so he must be glad that money show the true color of his supposed to be friend. Maybe if he don't have a chance to change the mind of that guy maybe he should start to move on and avoid him. For sure there are lot of opportunity to win that again so its really better to avoid toxic or fake friends since you can't trust them on any means.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two-edged sword for countries that banned Bitcoin on: October 28, 2022, 10:43:03 PM

They do this in the name of curbing illicit financial flow, but the question is, is it worth it? I don't see a winner here if they truly have the love of their country and citizen at heart, they should have regulated it, not banned the coin.
Just reading that part. I feel angry when I keep hearing people (the Government) thinking that Bitcoin is use for illicit financing. We all know all such kind of funding has been in play way before Bitcoins existence through Fiat, but are they ceasing to use their fiat money still? No. I think it is just them trying to control their citizen's financial life.

Don't be angry with that since its normal, to many people still use bitcoin to take advantage of others this is why I can't blame the government to think negatively on it  plus we can also add up the volatility which create some confusion about the real status of bitcoin. Maybe the country decide to ban bitcoin doesn't need its existence to its country for now but for sure in future once blockchain and bitcoin development will be widely adopted for sure they will also take a look back on this.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 28, 2022, 12:04:10 PM

I often use the stake doubling technique to several games. I normally do this with dice games and if it played correctly its profitable. What you have to do is simply start with a small stake and every time you lose you double your steak until you win. Once you win, you will recover all the amount you lost. This works if you have enough money to keep doubling your bet, so you should do your math and check with how much you should start. It is not infallible but it works.

When I was a newbie this is the technique I frequently use, I was advised that it won't work but logic made me push through with using this technique until I realized after so many sessions and many months of using it, it is ok to use it if you are having fun using, honestly I was and still challenged using it but don't expect that this is the most effective technique it's not I prefer to vary my bets as you go along you will develop your hunch when is the best time or a number of rolls where you can increase your bets.

Actually its good use some techniques we can use upon gambling since somehow this is the one who could feel us more satisfied since sometimes we been carried away with the results we encounter. For sure even by now the popular martingale has been continuously used by new and experience gamblers.
1713  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why newbies get banned on: October 28, 2022, 09:13:08 AM
The problem starts with people coming to the the forum for the first time assume Bitcointalk isn't a place of rules like other forums they are familiar too,
If so, it's good to have a policy of tolerance for the newbie aka brand new account. They judge this forum as the same as others, in this case, he really doesn't know the forum rules. therefore if the newbie do the plagiarism, he must be got a yellow card first and deleted the post with reason, if they do it again, do not hesitate to banned them.

One of the fast way why newbies get ban is due to not reading rules. Where there is no law, there is no punishment so we just have to stick to rules to avoid penalty of any other. Many newbies keep making the same mistake over again without thinking of what the penalty could be. Another funny why people easily get ban is through shortcut. When you post contents, indicate if what you posted is not yours. So many ways people are getting into trouble we need to be aware of rules.

Not reading rules maybe one of the reason but what are the most common one is due to plagiarism. Some newbie do copy paste because they think that if they can increase their post count it can give them higher chance to get merit or even rank up. If newbie could avoid this and always follow the rule what written by administrator and its mod for sure this banning incident will not happen.
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 27, 2022, 09:08:26 PM
The art contest are for testing your creativity and if you are using some image generation apps for it then you don't have a chance to win or deserve to win at all because you are not even working hard for it and just submitting image generated by that app but contest are for original art only. But what I was saying above was there are some members who make 3D art themselves but not on big level.
To win in art contests, you must have good art as well as proof of works. You can not beat so many talented artists if you use automated apps, AI-based art tools. They don't provide you enough high quality arts and you can not show your proof of work too.

Arts made by tools won't match the conditions of art contest too. Furthermore, you can not plagiarise, steal arts of others and submit it in contest then become one of winners.

Art contest participants will inform the manager about that too. Cheaters are not tolerated in art contests by company, manager and participants.
AI art could technically win, if it is not allowed to do that then I do not know what will happen, if that’s the reason why people can't win with AI works and not allowed that would be understandable. But if we are talking about just "quality of work" then there are better and better AI software out there who are making art, and that means eventually there could be one that could take the award, and in that case it’s a possibility.

I am not saying that it’s going to happen today, but it could happen in the future when AI gets better. However, like I said if it’s not allowed to use AI then in that case it wouldn't be possible no matter how good the quality of it is.

Could technically win because it will generate beautiful art piece without giving to much effort on it. Ai will just help you to give what picture you ask on the internet so this will give less effort for the people who use it and that is not good for the roobet contest held. Although its quietly cool to see what's in the mind of people but I don't think this should be consider to accept on contest where there are manual effort inserted.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found two projects claiming to enable running full nodes on mobile phones on: October 27, 2022, 11:27:21 AM
Two projects I found claiming the ability to run nodes through mobile phones. I want to know your take on this ( not without carefully studying each project). Don't wanna read uncreative comments like energy consumption, resources. it's obvious that they had take it as well in perspective. I'm more concerned with their security and market sentiments with their features. What are the two projects? Minima and taucoin.

What do you think are their pros and cons. Where are they similar and different? Where can they improve more? Are their prospect market available right now or in the future?

If you find the project suspicious and their claims is quite not possible then its good to have doubts on them since taking extra precaution on things you don't trust is a way for you not to get scam if their intention is to deceive people.

For now I will not trust project who claims about they can mine on phone or they can do that thing you say because those people who says to good to be true is shady people.
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: Can A Redesign of A Countries Currency Note Improve Its Economy? on: October 27, 2022, 09:07:44 AM
In recent news, it is the plan of the Nigerian government to redesign its currency notes. I don't know why such a project at this time is even mentioned, because other worst case scenarios that require redesign is left abandoned or nearly abandoned in total.
My thoughts is on how such a government at these time of flooding and inflation would think that by redesign the currency, such issue will be the remedy to the countries huge debt margin or natural disaster ongoing.
Do you think the effect of redesigning the nations currency note will be of benefit to the economy and nation at large?
Let's discuss!

https://nairametrics.com/2022/10/26/cbn-redesign-naira-notes/

They cannot get any benefits upon doing it since its like replacing their old money to new one so maybe we can conclude if there's a changes happen if they back up with something good things which it can boost up there economy. So if redesigning without anything good back it maybe we can see the same thing with this.
1717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: October 26, 2022, 10:37:18 PM
What's going on here? Does Cloudbet hire a bumping shills since there's a lot newbies with copper membership keep replying in this thread. I don't think those copper member-newbie rank accounts are just accidental, not many users are want to pay copper membership and you wouldn't see copper member-newbie rank accounts replying on the other thread except on Cloudbet.
I noticed the bump accounts, too, a while back. I am trying to compile the list and then report them. My current findings suggest it's an elaborate ring of scammers who have not only stopped at setting up scam projects or coins, but also shill other scam projects. The involved accounts are so many. We are looking at 60 plus shill accounts.

Cloudbet should answer this because hiring shill cannot give any positive output on them but instead people will doubt about their intentions for doing this. They are old casino so they should know the consequences of the actions towards this and if many people will find out that they hired shills for sure this could bring them more criticism from people who doubt about their reputation.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 26, 2022, 12:05:40 PM
Both of them is important on circulation because we cannot earn profits if no bull run will came and we can't buy cheap bitcoins if there's no bear market will disturb the market. Its equal and not debatable matters but maybe there are some thinking that one of them is important since they look at the angle base on some certain situations.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contests do you want to see on the Dice platform? on: October 26, 2022, 09:46:00 AM
Other dice sites had already done this which they have those multiplier hunts or something similar or on the same concept which is really interesting for those who do have limited or small amount capital. Its true that you cant really that make that much competition aside from wager contest or hunting multipliers or numbers specially on a dice game.If OP or this new site would decide that they would be increasing their prizes or bonuses then they might really be able to get up some attention but well it cant really be that assured but it would really be getting some buzz and might be recognized by the gambling community.
At the moment we have the simplest possible solution. We thought about implementing a tournament for the largest number of bets (say 1 week with a minimum bet of 100 Sat) and the tournament table will track stats. Nevertheless, even such simple tournament parameters require at least a month of preparation.

They should set a rules that participants could only do maximum 100 sats bets and how far they can go with it if they can make this grow and reach for many rolls then they are the winner. If they side no minimum bet amount well this is unfair for small gamblers since for sure only those whales have high advantage to win the contest.
1720  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalCryptos is shutting down on: October 25, 2022, 11:30:44 AM
This is what they said, but I think it's more of a regulatory issue than the bear market. Being that they are located in Australia, whose Government can sometimes get cocky when it comes to regulations
LocalCryptos has made the tough decision to voluntarily wind down for multiple reasons. Among the reasons include personal health matters impacting the development and progression of the marketplace, an anticipated downtrend in cryptocurrency markets, as well as challenging developments in the long-term regulatory trajectory amidst the global evolution of the crypto economy.

If it's true, it would be a shame since they could relocate to country with better regulation.

It was always unclear to me why some good services just shut down. in addition to changing the country of business, maybe they could sell the whole business to some company that is already in the industry.
although I would say that this is a forced move because just a few months ago they were hiring new developers https://jobs.gohire.io/localcryptos-ddlp8az9/react-native-mobile-app-developer-63702/

Maybe the compliance has something to do with this since they will not close down their successful business if there's no government disturbing their operations, maybe they find it hard to comply what necessary needed to legalize their business that's why they decide to shutdown their business. Although what we are saying is just speculation but mostly regulation has huge factor on their decision made.
