Kiev forces again shelled Donetsk city centre yesterday, using "Uragan" (more powerful than "Grad") multiple rocket launchers. Two dozen citizens were killed two rockets remained unexploded, one wedged in a residential building, another in the road.
Meanwhile US urged Kiev to investigate the mass graves discovered on the places of dislocation of National Guard. Wonder how they are going to do that when even the Odessa and Mariupol massacres didn't see any investigation.

This can be finished quite easily and right now: all the US and EU have to do is withdraw support of the Kiev junta and start HELPING to truly investigate all the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed every day in Ukraine! Most of these young ukro-nazi deadbeats will dissolve by themselves once they know their crimes will not go unpunished. However, as we have established so many times previously, the West’s goal instead is to do everything to continue destabilizing Ukraine and to continue enabling crimes against humanity by imparting a feeling of the all-permissiveness on the ukro-nazis.
This is exactly how US and Britain brought Hitler to power. They supported, financed and appeased him – until the monster was created. The rest is history…

He basically said that if Russia intended to invade anyone, you'd know it pretty quickly. In a typical twist, the Western MSM presented as an accomplished and final intention. |

Hm... What about witnesses then? Please note that I'm not trying to claim that your statement is wrong but there were many testimonies... Are they intelligence officers or just a bunch of idiots? What did they really see in that split-second? I've seen testimonials of people who say they saw a grey military plane with no windows (which might be an evidence of a low-detail/low-resolution hologram), I've also seen testimonials which appear planted, on par with "Russian army is marching though Ukraine" ones. People can be made to believe they saw something; there was an interesting documentary that I watched a few years back, where a group of people was lead to believe they were witnesses to a crime and that they could recall all the details, that in reality were not there. The most damning evidence here are not the humans, but the physics, the interaction of materials, or rather lack thereof. Because the next thing they'll be telling is that it's possible to destroy centimetre-thick steel support columns with millimetre-thin aluminium soda cans, if only they are accelerated fast enough. |

Sorry, but Russia will not be allowed to impose famine in Ukraine, tanks in Prague, or Iron Curtains in Germany ever again. Russia's bad behavior resulted in the creation of the greatest military alliance in history, which has already crushed the Warsaw Pact and will soon complete its mission to burn, then bury Lenin's stinking corpse once and for all.  There you go again. Again, Ukraine was but a small portion of Russia (actually, USSR, but I used "Russia" there intentionally to illustrate a previous, pre-1917, point) that got hit by famine. It's not "Russia's bad behavour" that created NATO. NATO was created right after WWII (and Soviet Union was still depicted as the good guy then) as a covert future mechanism to invade/destroy Soviet Union, the US/UK plans for that existed even as WWI was still raging. Warsaw Pact was created as a response to NATO. And, please, separate Russia (RSFSR) and Soviet Union (USSR) when talking about that period. Otherwise you stand guilty of rewriting history. Most of the Party Apparatus of USSR consisted of people coming from other republics than RSFSR. Agree with you on the need to bury Lenin, though - it's long overdue. |

What about acknowledging the past atrocities committed by Georgia (Stalin/Djugashvili), Ukraine, the Baltic states. By the way, in a way you are right: speaking of Ukraine as a separate from Russia entity makes as much sense as speaking of Gascogne as an entity separate from France. So past Ukrainian and Baltic atrocities go together with Russia, though thorough the CIA-styled social-egineered historical amnesia, these regions suddenly became completely separate entities, disconnected from their past history, over the course of the last 20 years. Icebreaker, in your citation of Lenin, where does he say it applies to "Ukraine only"? And about Solzhenicin. Was that from before he immigrated to US, during his US stay or after he returned to Russia? He became quite disillusioned with US teachings while staying in US, criticizing it so much and in the same way as he did USSR, that after a while he was no longer got invited to hold any talks. When he returned to Russia, he went the long way by train from the Pacific Ocean coast, and was not very impressed. And in Moscow he was criticizing the way Russia was heading under Yeltsin in US guidance. I will trust the people of Ukraine to know the facts of their own history, especially from the last 100 years, much more than than the biased POV of those who murdered them by the millions.
Also, first you say that you'd take a testimony of a Ukrainian and not some Russian, and once I offer you an option of such testimony, you swipe it aside and say you will go by Solzhenicin's words, who is Russian. (By the way, the same "people of Ukraine" whose school books in history underwent heavy rewriting and editing over the last 20 years to represent them as the sole victims of USSR and to show Bandera as the national hero?) Of course most of Ukraine hates Lenin with an eternal passion. Lenin declared the good farmers ('kulaks') to be "enemies of the people." The ensuing collectivization of agriculture led to the mass starvation of the Holodomor. And you think that is "really funny?" Please DIAF. You're confusing the civil war and 1930s famine. During rule of Lenin's government the development of agriculture production was increased dramatically... Pre-WW1 levels of agriculture production were reached in less than two years. Though it's not an excuse for everything which was made during the civil war. So called Holodomor happened a long after Lenin's death, during the years of Stalin's collectivization, and wasn't unique for the Ukraine. Any "privatization" of 1930s famine is a complete disgrace for the memory of people who died across the country. There were millions of victims across Russia, Belarus and other republics. By the way, it's funny to see that so-called Holodomor is recognized as an act of genocide by the same countries which imposed the sanctions against USSR during these years. Yes, it was an act of genocide indeed. Genocide of soviet people made by the UK, US and their allies.Do you know that UK, US and their allies refused to accept soviet gold as payment for goods in the beginning of 1930s? Massive disbalance of the economy happened as the result. Without these stupid sanctions there won't be any famine. Pretty typical for hypocrites, put a sanctions on the country and then blame it for everything happened. Yesterday, one of my readers mentioned the golodomor issue in a comment, adding that Russians did that to Ukrainians causing millions of them to die of starvation. I’ve heard this before and it had been on my mind for years. I understand how people would come to believe this lie, considering the absolute info vacuum. I’ve decided this was as good a time as any to clarify this issue once and for all.
Background: as you can see from my bio, my mother was Ukrainian, from a farming family. I had a couple of aunts in Ukrainian villages, and an uncle and aunt who lived in a city, but came from the farming stock. My whole family was into story-telling and since I was a child, I heard many stories about family history and various events they had experienced. Avid listener, unlike many of my contemporaries, I was always a history buff, even as a 5-year old.
So, let’s look at the facts, and for dessert, at my own family/friends experiences. After my story, everything will become “crystal-clear,” as they say in Russia… and Ukraine.

So, all the more reason for you to read the above article. Oh, and a bit of my own family history. My family experienced the consequences of collectivisation and golodomor first hand - in Russia. On my mother's line, my great-grandfather was a medium-sized peasant, "kulak", who had part of is property collectivised, and during the famine years my great-grandmother died of starvation, while my grandmother and her siblings barely managed to survive. It was in Russia, in Southern Siberia. So, you see, Ukrainians don't have a unique right to claim they are sole victims of the Soviet experiment, as Western-induced propaganda would like them to believe. |

In the future gas supply will be pre-paid only; the price is $385, which is a compromise. This is a $100 discount to the EU gas price. In reality, many EU countries pay less, which depends on volume and how long-term their agreement with Gasprom is. But since Ukraine never made long-term agreements with Russia, and even the ones they had made, keep being broken, they are not eligible for discounts.
If Ukraine fulfills these requirements, it will receive 5bln cubic meters of gas, which should be enough for the winter… if it’s warm. The likelihood is that Ukraine may need much more gas, as they’ve been lying about their true gas reserves. In that case, they will likely start siphoning EU gas as it happened so many times before.
Let’s remember that just before being overturned by the maidan coup in February 2014, Yanukovich signed the deal with Russia according to which the nearly bankrupt Ukraine would have been getting the much-needed gas at $220. Belarus, the member of the Customs Union, gets Russian gas practically for free, at $180, making Belorussian economy very competitive compared to the EU. This in part accounts for the so-called “Belorussian miracle” – stability, great infrastructure, robust economy, etc. I might do a piece about that at some point. So, the inevitable conclusion is that it’s so much more profitable to be friends with Russia.

LOL, one should know how to interpret these events. The one in Kharkov will be counterproductive eventually within Kharkov itself, the CIA-propagated "Nationalism" movements, which are designed to create rifts in a society they want to subvert making it more pliable to their manipulation, is outdated. The military on all sides were discussing why ceasefire isn’t working – the civilian quarters are still being bombed. The participants were trying to solidify the ceasefire agreements. This info in Russian: starts at 2:20 to 4:40. Although no agreements were reached and Ukraine reps refused to talk to the media, the major breakthrough is that the military on both sides is at least willing to talk to each other, instead of shooting. Although this word wasn’t spoken, but in fact the military were discussing the new border between Novorossia and Ukraine, de-facto recognizing the new state.
And from the same article: A freed from junta village destroyed by the Kiev nazis: an old woman says that she survived by miracle when bomb hit her house. Mostly only old people are left, who have no place to go – all others took refuge in Russia. The woman says that her neighbor didn’t take the main road home once; she wanted to take a shortcut through the fields – and the Kiev national guard just shot her point-blank. When they were leaving, says the old lady, their tongues became loose and one confessed: “You should be thankful,” he said, “that we left you alive. We had orders to level your village completely and to kill everyone.”
Old people, who once survived WWII, are saying that German nazis didn’t behave as badly as these, who call themselves Ukrainians and who insist they want to live with their victims in the same state. This explains why Hitler himself was afraid of the ukro-nazis from the western Ukraine SS division Galichina and similar SS units. The Donbass self-defence had to stop the agreed upon exchange of prisoners. While self-defence was giving back real soldiers, the Kiev junta side was sabotaging the exchange: instead of fighters or activists it was sending simple civilians. Many of these civilians were kidnapped from their respective towns in other parts of the country when they were going about their business. They were tortured, made confess of something and then exchanged for the real nazi killers and military. Realizing that they were just enabling these kidnappings, the Novorossia government stopped the prisoner exchange till further notice. |

There is some interesting relevant information that I learnt the other day. Most here remember the Siberia Airlines flight 1812 that got shot down by Ukraine using Buk missile in 2001: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberia_Airlines_Flight_1812The interesting bit of information is how it was identified that it was a Buk missile responsible for the shoot-down back then. Buk warhead is filled with shrapnel - small metal balls designed to kill pilots and anyone on board, and not so much as destroying the aircraft itself. Back in 2001, when the bodies of the victims were fished out of the sea and examined by pathologists, they were discovered to be filled with such shrapnel balls. By examining the metal alloy used in these balls, the specialists were able to identify the type of the rocket, where and it was produced, and where it was dislocated. The evidence pointed to the Ukrainian unit that conducted the fatal exercises. The question of "where is the shrapnel" is still relevant with regard to MH-17. Also in this case the bodies of the victims and pilots should have been peppered with the shrapnel balls, and that would have been the strongest evidence for a Buk shootdown, with a rather precise pin-pointing of the offending missile's origin. |
