1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRANQ] Tranquility Audit Security | TranquilityNET | TranquilitySERVE on: August 19, 2020, 10:02:25 PM
This sounds like a formal and professional project unlike most of them out there that are pure speculative and full of hype. I'll be researching the project more as I'm quite interested Smiley

This project is really a promising one and hopefully they will fully implement their services this coming year. As a lot of hotels are on board for testing (as mentioned about 300 hotels), curious how many of them will actually use this platform once tourism goes back to normal? Getting about 300 hotels to participate is no easy task, so I hope they will be successful in convincing these potential clients to use their services. By any chance, are they going to name at least couple of these hotels, popular ones that are into this project?

1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Euclideum: PoS network delegated staking - sharding - liquidity protocol on: August 19, 2020, 08:25:24 PM

what you say is true. your project has very little information displayed, even your Twitter account was created this month and currently your telegram channel has less than 10 subscribers.

How to get free Euclideum coins
1. Create a new wallet on ArchimeDEX or import your existing Ethereum wallet. After the network snapshot on August 27, 2020, you'll be able to claim your free ECL through the DEX.
2. Once the Euclideum blockchain is deployed, we will swap the airdrop ECL tokens (ERC20) for fully functional ECL coins.
*

* https://euclideum.com/airdrop.html

The way to get Euclideum Airdrop is very risky

I think so. Because if I want to import my wallet on their exchanger called ArchimeDEX I probably need to input my ethereum wallet seeds or private key. For that my wallet will be in huge risk and it may get hacked also. So, Don't think people gonna fall for this shitty airdrop only 3 tokens for 1ETH. Also, the price of the token is not revealed yet.
And there are no active teams here, I hope they don't just leave this thread. if this project is serious I hope the team changes the way to get Airdrop. it is better to do snapsot than the current provision

I don't think it is safe to participate in this airdrop where your funds will not be safe. And seems that they are aiming to have expensive price for their token as only 3 tokens is provided for every eth you owned. Won't touch this thing if you need to input your seeds or private key. And if the team will not be active here and answer important questions, I don't think this is worth your attention.
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 18, 2020, 11:55:01 PM
The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.
Most people that has been able to take profit from crypto currency trade or investment are those that have mastered the act of hodling.

Knowing when to hodl, when not to hodl is an important skill you need.

Not all the time hodling would work especially if you don't have the patience to hold that long.

If you see an opportunity to maximize your profit in short term too, why focus on hodling only?
I've seen a lot of traders who makes money doing day trading, I think we can call them successful too, and they don't need to wait for a longer time to sell as they can make profit anytime since they master the working technique in day trading.

For most of us who does not have enough knowledge and skills in short term trading and day trading, HODL is the best strategy that would fit for us, but  Crypto currency is "NOT" all about Hodling.

Hodling is not true to most of alts available in the market. Maybe it is applicable to btc or eth or other established alts, but most of the alts/tokens, I don't think it is smart to hodl them. Because most of them will be abandoned by their respective developers.

Short-term trading is also one good option to earn profit. If you know what you are doing in trading, you can earn a lot more on this type of trading rather than long term hodling. But yes, cryptocurrency is not all about hodling. Because if you will follow this, you will end up hodling worthless tokens and coins, and regretting that you didn't sell it early.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 18, 2020, 11:27:35 PM
I have been keeping an eye on ETH since it started trending upwards back in june abd from what I've seen, it's just getting started. The real growth will come either before their 2.0 official launch later this year.  Yesterday and today, I had the opportunity to get good long entries thanks to Bitcoin's latest dips around the $12K price level, I will be holding my ETH bang for the long term now as we approach the launch period.

Eth is really a solid platform, so its increase in price is not surprising. And since just like other alts, eth follows the trend of bitcoin in the market, we are expecting that eth will increase when btc increases. And with the upcoming ETH 2.0, people are looking forward to that big development, and we may be seeing a good price increase of eth.

Also, I appreciate the OP's speculation charts, been seeing a lot of his chart analyses lately.  Wink I guess he is also active in trading and applying what he's been probing.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Centric - The Token that GUARANTEES YOU PROFIT! on: August 18, 2020, 10:53:10 PM
I think its a very interesting project and the fact that it will be added to bittrex means a lot !

I know they are listed in bittrex and other exchanges as seen from their website. But why is the centric dev not active here, is that because of his negative trust because of the alleged ponzi on this project? Or they surrendered explaining to the community here and just do their business outside the forum?

Also, they are currently offline in bittrex and no trading activity is happening. Are they having hard time attracting traders from bittrex?

Looking at cointiger, seems that they are pretty active over there trading at about $0.008 - https://www.cointiger.com/en-us/#/trade_center?coin=cns_usdt

1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] OTR Coin on: August 18, 2020, 09:54:37 PM
The OTR development sector builds systems to mobilize/monetize infrastructures for both smaller and larger B2B chains. Project strive for continuity in upgrading credentials to continue deployment in Android and iOS platforms.

Is this platform alive and operational? Why is it that after more than a year, this thread has suddenly become active? Are there really energy subscribers from this company? Why is the address in PO Box, is there actual headquarter for this energy source company? Where is the "dev" here? Their site is still up but the information is very limited. I don't think this project has real active energy subscribers.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XOL] Xolentum - The Future is Digital on: August 18, 2020, 11:30:49 AM
Is this some sort of experimental project for you as most of you in the team are still students? How are you going to attract potential users if what you are trying to offer here has been offered by other established alts like monero or zcash. Because such anonymity feature will only be useful if you also have several markets where users can easily trade with their chosen coin like btc. Also, since you have no premine, I am curious how long have you been mining before you introduced this project to the community? And that is why waiting for your block explorer here.
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UROTOKEN]An Intelligent E-commerce Ecosystem To Embrace Decentralisation on: August 18, 2020, 08:03:45 AM
With the negative trust owed to plagiarism issue, it would be hard to attract potential investors on your project. Also, seems that your project has not been reviewed as you also put coinexchange as your one of upcoming partners. They have been not in operations since last year, so I don't know why it is still in your lineup. No wonder you have plagiarism issues because the team seems not to read the content of your website.

1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ratcoin/RAT on: August 17, 2020, 11:47:24 PM
RAT boomed in price in the last 2 days and it keeps going up. I decided to work with a team on RAT and to bring it back alive. We are in the process of getting listed on nanu exchange and later 4stakes.com, and many many other sites and projects to get the visibility. Supply is still low.

Anyone who wants to join us on discord - https://discord.gg/mmGZFJr

But aside from this exchange listing, what are the plans for this coin to thrive in crypto market? As you said, you decided to bring it back alive. It means that you admitted that this coin is already dying. Why such decision to revive this project? Do you think they will have some sort of purpose this time around? Or just because the crypto market is somewhat bullish and you see that you still have chance to get market for this coin? Because if it will just be pure talk here with no actual developments, I don't think you can change the path of this coin.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] |Crypto Price Index - Access a real time price index on the CPI Blockchain on: August 17, 2020, 11:11:04 PM
CPI has made me some goooood money so far. I got in early when it was  listed at Hotbit, under $10... now it's in the $120's. Loving this run up, and I hope it keeps going!!!  Cool  Grin

That's nice profit for you. But is this the new thread for this project? I remember this project because of their Emirati ties and posted by different user here in the forum. Anyway, if it posted by Hhampuz, it means he believed that this project is legit. And look at the CPI's trading graph at hotbit, seems that they are not stopping anytime soon. Any major news why this rise?

1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VIP telegram channels...is it worht it on: August 17, 2020, 10:08:26 PM
The paid VIP channels you see on Telegram and other sites are run by scammers, bear in mind also that even if a website is giving out signals for free, you should not still trust it and trade based on their analysis, it's the same as doing copy trading, which is risky and not reliable, follow your strategies you've learnt, if you have not learned any, start doing that before trading. So the catch is that trading is better when it's your work, you can take an online course on trading as well, if you pay for signals and it fails continuously, you will get frustrated and could keep on looking for the channel that will work and fall into the hands of more dangerous scammers.

Maybe there is legit, but most of them are scammers. But if the OP want to get the feel about this telegram signal group, he can join those free channels first and get the feel how they are doing it. I subscribed before in some of those free channels but there's nothing good that came out of it. Most of their signals were delayed to the point that you were already buying at the peak, I guess that's intentional. The owners already bought before they give the signal. So you practically are buying what they bought at a lower price. So more than possibly, those VIP channels are doing the same, aside from getting payment, they are also earning from the trading. My verdict - please don't join those VIP telegram channels but if you are really interested, try one channel first and see for yourself what will be in store for you.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 17, 2020, 09:18:33 PM
There are some very good new projects that are better and active than many old projects, you just have to do your own part by going in deep to find real reasons why the projects will perform better in future, DeFi is doing very well lately but believe me not all of them are worth buying, just do your own research
Most projects are really useless and wasting of time, however it doesn't mean all of them are in the same situation. As you above mentioned there are still some good projects, which from you can make good profit in the future. Defi is really doing very well compared to other projects and it can be the best choice. On the other hand you should find reasons why the project is good for investing and then you can make profit from your investment, contrary you can lose your money.

The major reason why a lot of projects are being created and launched is to grab money from naive users. Let's accept the reality that most of them are designed to lure investors and rip money from them. Very few can be considered quality project and that needs good assessment from the investor. Not all DeFis are good to invest with as well, be careful in joining the bandwagon because most of them are like ICO projects before. Don't just join the hype because most of them have empty foundation.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing Katerium Coin on: August 16, 2020, 11:43:12 PM

does this project have a team member ?
if yes, may i know the link to see the team member from this project, because i can't found the team member here and in your official site buddy

I think this is anonymous project. After more than 3 months here in the forum, seems that they haven't gotten the interest of users here. And being listed in resfinex? Does somebody here know that exchange? And aiming to overpower WhatsApp and Facebook, not gonna happen? They couldn't get any attention here, how come they can even compete with these 2 social media platforms? Reality check!

1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 16, 2020, 10:29:15 PM
For me, most of our opinions about this are kinda more on speculation only.
We still don't know what is the future of Gold or Cryptocurrency, that's why we are here talking about these.
But speaking of the value of these two, Gold is already far with cryptocurrency and I am amazed with Gold since the volatility of it is kinda small compared to cryptocurrency.
We are still far, especially the market cap of cryptocurrency compared to GOLD. But there are lot of possibilities that cryptocurrency can be more valuable than gold.

Maybe, if we are talking about the price only. However, gold has other vital uses like in electronics and computers industry, jewelry industry, dentistry and medicine, and others. And I don't think that will ever change. These tangible uses of gold is irreplaceable so maybe crypto can be more valuable than gold in the future, in terms of price, but crypto can never be actually used where gold has its significant applications. We can compare their price value but I don't think we can live without physical gold because of its crucial part in various industries.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] APOCRYPH - Next-Gen Blockchain | Novel Consensus | Code in C# and Python on: August 16, 2020, 09:27:28 PM

In layman's terms, what industries or businesses can benefit from your platform? Also, since this project originated from these 2 consensus networks, does it mean that the team members for apocryph project is the same team as published in scynet.ai (https://www.scynet.ai/team)?

1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Gatecoin & Gatemining by miners for miners [Blake-256][*NEW*] on: August 16, 2020, 08:33:23 PM
Are you going to create your own website and not under git? I think it is better to have your own domain and not rush with exchange. And I think this is really a one-man project, not handled by several people as you said? You have 3-page whitepaper and the first page is just your logo, that makes the content to be in 2 pages only. And most of the content can be found already in your OP.

And in your whitepaper/site, please include roadmap and timeline.
1717  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies integrating them more strongly with the economy on: August 15, 2020, 11:55:56 PM
Long gone are the days when Government literally tried to ban the cryptocurrencies and it seemed like we are going to hit the rock bottom.

They didn't try to ban it - some did ban, others didn't. A few kinda banned and then kinda unbanned it. The fact that most countries didn't ban it just means that most countries are democratic and won't try to control every single aspect of their citizen's lives.

I do think it a leap that we see , sooner or later crypto market might normalize and be used everywhere.

If a person wants to use a card, why would they pick a Bitcoin card over a bank card? If they are interested in investments, they aren't going to spend it. If they only want payments, Bitcoin's volatility will be a problem and the cumulative effect of all the hidden fees will make it not worth it.

Maybe right now, users are not treating bitcoin as a means of payment method but rather an investment. But if more and more merchants will add bitcoin or crypto as their payment method, these crypto users will use their service at one point. Because if it is not available, how can they use crypto as payment method. Volatility is always there but if the service is readily available, people will be tempted to use especially these days that people are looking for other payment method aside from their fiat payment.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why LINK is pumping so hardly? on: August 15, 2020, 11:08:47 PM
The rankings that it has also helped. Searching on coinmarketcap has categories for Defi and it's on the top of the rankings, no. 1. That's a factor for most investors to look at, whichever is at the top, that's where they'll invest.

https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/

And since they are the top DeFi project at the moment, people have more trust on an established DeFi network as compared to other DeFi projects that are suddenly shooting up everywhere. If you want to invest on a better market, of course, you want to spend it on a project with good foundation. And since the hype is still on for DeFi, the Chainlink team is using this opportunity to attract more investors by giving their followers about updates regarding partnerships and other developmental progress. Seems that the time of Chainlink has come. But still if you are an investor, you need to be prepared for what may happen in the market.

But on a side note, look at the Chainlink trading chart. Very impressive, right? Lucky for those who bought this last month, they are already enjoying their profits.

1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Introducing the Most Protocol, Decentralized Algorithmic Stable Token on: August 15, 2020, 09:59:20 PM
Who didn't know this information will be useful: since there is no token sale, the only way to get the MOST token is through Uniswap listing. Watch project's Medium page

Uniswap is now crowded with crap tokens so beware of jumping on this project. The website is pretty dull, not so much information is given. And with the small supply, they can easily manipulate the market as what marshtt stated below. Just by having the price of $1 makes you think it is quite expensive for a new token with no proven use case. Do they have the assets to back up this value as it seems they are aiming to have this token valued at $1?

Due to the small initial liquidity, the price is volatile and easy to manipulate. Therefore, they will initialize the Rebase after we provide enough liquidity. The first rebase will happen 24 hours after the initialization.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RAMP DEFI |Unlock Liquid Capital from Your Staked Digital Assets | on: August 15, 2020, 12:20:56 PM
So, who exactly is behind this RAMP DeFi project?

I see that you are mentioning your team consists  of experienced professionals in the blockchain and traditional investment sector but then you just mentioned companies like Binance, Blackrock and JP Morgan. While all that sound cool, I would  ( and others here I'm sure) like to see more proof regarding that, and that mean your team member names and their social media profile links that confirm your claims.
I totally agree with you, where can I get confirmation that Binance, J.P. Morgan, IOST and others are part of the RAMP project. if it is true that they are part of the RAMP then this is a big project and i shouldn't miss it.

I haven't seen any name published regarding their team member. Just generic mention of these big companies as part of their team and advisors. I would suggest not to fall from this marketing strategy as they might be using the names of these companies without permission to attract naive users. As we all know, DeFi projects are proliferating nowadays, and they will do everything to screw users that are not doing their own research. If they can give us valid reference links mentioning the partnership of those mentioned companies to this RAMP project, that would be appreciated.
