Go all in on Sonm, they'll go x10 before the year is over, x200 before 2020 no doubt in my mind. Read their whitepaper, check out the graph, observe the team, and tell me I'm wrong
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 01, 2017, 10:02:45 PM
What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.

It's possible, however, I think for now it is not. Because as you know bitcoin started unpopular and it already had established it's name in the crypto currency world. So, I think there's no crypto currency yet that can surpass what bitcoin had gone through.
I think yes, one day, one other cryptocurrency altcoin will surpasses BTC in value, because bitcoin not immortel, there is a time which the coin will die, but i don't think that is soon, bitcoin is not popular yet, so I think maybe after 30 or 40 years later, and then another crypto will surpasses bitcoin value.

They might pass it in terms of value, but not in terms of global adoption. Bitcoin will forever remain the baseline coin, like gold is

We’ve been listed on Binance!

SNM/BTC and SNM/ETH trading pairs are now available on Binance! We would like to thank each one of you for achieving this milestone with us!

Binance couldn't ignore this insanely good project, and the other exchanges won't either, before this year is over Sonm will be listed on Bittrex and Poloniex as well, no doubt!
Bittrex will be a good addition and I am not sure about poloniex as there are lots of complaints about them lately and the big players are moving over to bittrex, I heard.
I hope so the smn coin will be list in bittrex and poloniex. Becausd it is helpful to smn if it listed to that exchanges site. Because they have many investor to that and once they see smn and they have possible to increase the price if they buy smn coin.  But as of now im very happy also because smn is finally listed in binance. Thanks to the dev who work hard! More power!

Well Binance is a great exchange and people definitely know about that. Sonm needs more intrinsic value, which can only be created by executing the roadmap. If they achieve what they want to achieve, this project is a goldmine and most likely similar to investing in bitcoin 8 years ago.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in October on: October 01, 2017, 09:59:38 PM
according to me, the best to invest are:

-Quantstamp : Quantstamp is the first scalable security-audit protocol designed to find vulnerabilities in Ethereum smart contracts

-airswap : protocol for decentralized exchanges

-request.network : A decentralized network built on top of Ethereum, which allows anyone, anywhere to request a payment.

-wanchain : Wanchain is a distributed financial platform that enables private, cross-blockchain smart contract execution

those are definitely the best shots in terms of  profitability and strong concept/development

some have a closed whitelist so you could not partecipate yet.

These all sound very abstract, no clear real life usage
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: October 01, 2017, 09:56:38 PM
You guys should check out DIMECOIN. Recently the core dev quit so the team was struggling to find replacement. This made prices plummet to the absolute lowest prices I've ever seen in my life, even less than 1 sat/coin.

Now I just talked to one of the devs and they're building a new wallet with a new dev as we speak. When that's finished, they're gonna start marketing this coin the way it deserves to be marketed. We'll definitely see this coin get more attention, and buying just 20 million right now (barely 100$) could make you thousands of dollars in the future. Someone calculated that prices would double by a couple K investment. Imagine what will happen once the ads start flowing and a better exchange is achieved. Right now they're trading on crappy exchanges, Livecoin being the best one. I could see this coin being traded on Binance before the year is over. If that happens and volume picks up, prices will go from 0.000003$ to 0.0006$ in a matter of days, a couple larger investments would be enough. That's a x200 ROI, and it would still only mean a 300 million marketcap.
Thanks for sharing this info. I'll look into it although I lost my faith in its future a long time ago.

The reason why it's so low is because it literally has no purpose right now. No whitepaper, no marketing, no decent wallet. Once they bring out even one of those, volume will pick up. A well writen whitepaper, easy to use desktop wallet, and clear roadmap could help this coin get listed on a better exchange like Binance.

Bittrex and Poloniex both exchanges doesn't looks in a mood to add new coins

Not right now, but before 2017 is over Sonm will be listed on at least one of those, trading at 0.5$ at least
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: October 01, 2017, 09:42:14 PM
I've gone into more detail in another post.

In summary: poorly designed website, copy and paste mistakes in the white paper, unable verify the team, cannot verify their claims about contracts and Chinese government support, no evidence of work/productivity (github), controlling too many coins, fake news stories, unconvincing "team" photos and videos (the CEO comes across as a budget actor struggling to read a cue card - you can see the shadow of the cue card), hired a privacy service (associated with numerous scams) to hide the domain registration details, aggressive shills that boot people from Slack & Reddit for asking reasonable questions, pressure tactics (buy more for a master node before it's too late [or we do a runner]), obviously paid shills on twitter and Reddit (hype comments with little substance) etc.

Nothing about it feels right.

I've probably spent far too much time talking about these things.

I strongly suspect that Walton Chain is a scam.

At best, as you say, a very amateurish team and, in my opinion, recklessly hyping and overpromising.

Would a team of experienced individuals, including a form VP of Samsung, be this amatuer?

Either way, I'd be very surprised if a product materialises.

$180,000,000 market cap with no product, no tangible evidence of work and many unsubstantiated claims.

The shills are hyping and talking about a market cap of $1billion this year.

I feel I have a duty to express my concern.

Thank you for this explanation. It's easy to get caught in the hype and fomo, plus a lot of stories just get repeated over and over again (including by me, I'm afraid) without checking the source. I sold half of my stash so I have my money back and a nice profit, invested it into Sonm. If the WTC team does deliver, I'll make a very nice profit, if they don't and it turns out to be a scam, I don't lose anything.
1708  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 01, 2017, 08:15:53 PM
In order for bitcoin to be seen as a currency, it'll have to rise in value so that whales can't pump and dump anymore, and so that it becomes less volatile. A 100K Bitcoin would mean a total cap of around 2 trillion, which would make it a very nice currency. I think satoshi will be the real currency then
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: October 01, 2017, 08:12:29 PM
I was once NEO holder, I recall when the price was constantly below 10USD and could not break the barrier and then suddenly after new website launch the price spiked up to 50USD.
Unfortunately i sold my shares before spike. Maybe next time, I'm wiser.

Invest in Sonm, it'll be at 1$ before the year is over, just check the activity of the devs, the insanely good whitepaper, the graph, everything is pointing towards a new ATH. Now they're trading at less than 0.1$. Don't miss this train

1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: October 01, 2017, 07:59:55 PM
Another country officially joined the global crypto currency market. And in India, this market is huge, given its territory, and especially the number of people. True, the population is mostly poor. However, this is good news, which shows that the crypto currency is confidently spreading around the world and does not leave some countries with chances for its effective prohibition.

Have you read the previous posts? This is a fake news. Bitcoin is still not 100% legal in India and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) remains opposed to the legalization of Bitcoin. It is true that a lot of Bitcoin exchanges are operating in India. But there is a good chance that the government can order them to close down their operations at any point of time, just like what China did.
this cases still on debate all people. i found many news regarding this in some websites cryptocurrency news. but you said that it is hoax. i try to be neutral about this.
back to the topic 'bitcoin legal in india'. for sure the big 3 india 's exchanger biitcoin (Zebpay, Coinsecure and Unocoin) will support it. due to they are operating their trading platform with their own rules as called "know your customer' (cyk) that it is support anti money laundering, that have big chance to legalized by india government. so bitcoin will not give negative affect anyone include India government and nation
The price of the bitcoin will be very high and it wills the currency of the country like indeed and in my country the value of the bitcoin is very high because it is being use by almost everyone in indeed so the chance of the legalization is very high according to me. Bitcoin is making the world surprise. So I wish the news would be true.

Also take into account that there's a lot of grey area between legal and illegal Wink

Please to hear I've made my point!  Grin

I'm happy with a couple of the ICOs I've invested in.

Don't like the scams as they detract from the genuine projects and give crypto a bad name.

I've been unusually vocal about WTC because, to me, it's comically bad.

Au revoir, a bientot!

Could you explain to me why this is a scam and not just a young startup that's struggling with the enormous hype that has been created? I can see this coin go to 15$ in 2017 easily tbh
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: October 01, 2017, 07:47:24 PM
Change Bank will change the future of cryptocurrency banking, most likely side by side with other cryptobanks like TenX and Centra.
Change came out on top as the best one yet, according to this article:

1715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 01, 2017, 07:45:33 PM
It's never too late to buy Bitcoin. It's just better to do this when it's price drops a bit. But you can do it even today. After all, the price will grow further. And I advise you to hurry.

Don't forget the october 25th hard fork. Owning bitcoin will give you bitcoingold for free

Watching this and I hope this becomes successful like Minerium!

Well both companies have the potential, but they need to become faaaar more professional. Read their whitepapers, then read Sonm's whitepaper. Tell me which one could be a 6th grade school project, and which one could be a billion dollar business.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: October 01, 2017, 03:32:48 PM
a mobile app for investing based on bot signals is developed and released. Users will be able to add their API keys from exchanges, receive and filter bot signals right in this app and open positions by signals in one click. The app will buy cryptocurrencies and relist them using user-defined settings. API keys will be stored only on users’ devices, making the app quite secure.

Isn't that just stop loss and buy orders like on most exchanges?
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: October 01, 2017, 03:30:10 PM
why is it pumped?

Because they recently won a competition in China, which will allow them to massproduce their RFID chips. Before october is over they'll be at 12$

Cheesy  I see what you did lol

I'd add to the reasons that the masternode price has been revealed.

So the initial pump was competition based, but then Walton was starting to pullback slightly.  Now that people know the masternode price they're pretty much incentivized to buy now, so it's like a race to arms IMO.  FOMO could really set in because you factor in the hype of this project and the thought of owning a masternode, you're going to have people kicking tires on this ASAP.  Just look at the comments on the reddit AMA, and you can see the thirst is real for locking in masternode amounts ASAP.

I mean, you look at the price of something like a Stratis node (which last I checked cost 1 MILLION USD+), and that doesn't really motivate a normal person to race to buy shares.  5000 is a realistic #, especially for people that already purchased some.  You're talking about a masternode for what looks like one of the biggest projects in recent memory.  With the parent chain and wallet coming this month, the clock is defintely ticking.

Bitcoin fork FUD can't come fast enough, I'm trying to load up cheap!  Cheesy

Or, in other words, please buy more (for a master node) before everyone realises this is a scam.

Sounds more like a sales pyramid as part of a Ponzi scheme to me.

So, the wallet and chain aren't ready yet BUT the project claims to have improved distribution efficiency for major corporates, using its technology, by almost 100%. That makes sense!

They're in alpha phase I believe which means they've already succesfully tested their tech (could be known as beta phase, not sure)
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: October 01, 2017, 03:27:46 PM
It really depends on whats your goal here. Long term steady growth or short term quick turn over? For long term definately, bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum. For short/long term with potential quick growth are Signatum, DeepOnion, Metal and OmiseGo. These are what I would choose.

I would add Sonm to both your lists, and NEO to the longterm list
