17021  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 01:59:21 AM
Probably yes, one factor that give them money and i think it's untraceable transaction that going to their fund.

They may be getting some of their funding in the form of Bitcoins (and the other crypto-currencies), but I am sure that the proportion may be very insignificant. Even if they get the Bitcoins, how they are going to spend them? I am not sure whether the arms smugglers and farmers of Syria accept Bitcoins. Even if they do, the markup will be very hefty.
17022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sum of Bitcoin Forks Hits $10,000 --- five figures! on: November 23, 2017, 07:25:36 AM
You can add B2X as well, as some miners are saying that they will go ahead with the fork in December.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/segwit2x/

Right now it is trading in the $200-$300 range (declined by almost 80% after the major miners shelved the November implementation plan). Also, there is another fork called Bitcoin Silver scheduled for December. I am not sure about BTSI, but if it goes ahead as planned then we will receive even more free coins.  Grin
17023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 07:22:01 AM
It will be quite difficult to convince anyone to sell their coins now, especially when the prices are going up so much. Just 7-8 days back, the exchange rates were hovering at the sub-7,000 mark. Now it is inching closer to $8.5K. Those who invested in BTC in 2015 are the luckiest ones. Their $200 investment is now worth $10,000 (BTC + BCH = BTG).
17024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 07:19:26 AM
My first plan is just gather as much bitcoin as i can. Then hold till 2020 and sell all of them to buy a house and get married.

How much does a house cost in your place? Here it is around $80,000 to $800,000. I am planning to buy one, but the problem is that I have only around BTC2.5 in my wallet right now. So I can think about it only if the exchange rates rise by a further 500%.
17025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google results show more people searching for Bitcoin than gold on: November 23, 2017, 07:17:48 AM
If you ask me, this doesn't mean anything. More people are interested in Bitcoins. But there is no guarantee that all of them are collecting Bitcoins at this point of time, or making plans to invest in Bitcoins in the future. Anyway, I am glad about one thing. Now most of the coverage about Bitcoin in the mainstream media is positive.
17026  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can you be part a good change? In this world. on: November 23, 2017, 05:44:09 AM
To be a part of this worldly change, we need to start from ourselves first. A simple step can lead us to the betterment of the world.

A chat can be a good start, but in my opinion if you want to do something significant, then you need to take action and chatting will not help. Putting your words in to practice is the most difficult thing. Planning and imagining something is the easy part. But realizing those goals are going to be the most important thing.
17027  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all of the religious people are bad ? on: November 23, 2017, 05:40:33 AM
religious people are so good but bad know about religion make them bad

Religious people are helpful and good enough but others using their religious on bad thing

Some of them may be helpful and good enough. But from what I have found, their help comes at a price. For example, a few years back there was a major earthquake in Nepal. More than 10,000 people died in that event and many hundreds of thousands became homeless. These Christian missionaries went there to "help" people, but they demanded the people to convert from Hinduism to Christianity before they could receive the aid.
17028  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is violence really the key to a drug-free country? on: November 23, 2017, 05:38:15 AM
For some reason, yes,it is, it can help to strongly stop the drug users.

Only if the cops are not corrupt and if the collateral casualties can be avoided. I have heard about a few instances in which the cops used this opportunity to settle the old scores. They framed fake drug charges on some innocent people and then shot them dead in fake encounters. Such instances bring disrepute to the entire operation.
17029  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: November 23, 2017, 05:36:27 AM
We will need to feed 10 billion people and nature can't keep up with demand, so we will need much more ocean farming for fish. But algae farming is also on the way for renewable energy, and maybe even for growth of feed stock (raw materials) or resource extraction via GM seaweed or algae.

10 billion? According to the latest projections made by the United Nations, the world population is likely to be somewhere around 15 billion to 18 billion, by 2120. And out of that number, close to 40% is going to be in the continent of Africa, which is facing a severe shortage of food and water right now.
17030  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OBAMA was the best President in the world on: November 23, 2017, 03:37:46 AM
Obama is a good human being. He was a good president also. If not the best, he is a lot better than crooked Trump.

Being a good human being doesn't mean that he could be a good president. If you really want to compare Obama with Trump, then look at the state of the economy. Under Obama, the federal debt got increased by almost $10 trillion. Under Trump, the federal debt decreased for the first time in many decades.
17031  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: November 23, 2017, 03:33:25 AM
I think Ignorance about Islam is the main reason. They don't know much about Islam.

No. From what I have seen, the more someone learns about Islam, the more they hate it. Non-Muslim people from regions with significant Muslim populations (Russia, India.etc) are likely to hold more anti-Muslim views, when compared to those from regions where Muslims are a small minority.
17032  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to prepare for your death? on: November 23, 2017, 03:30:02 AM
Hmm.... First I have to take care of my Bitcoin stash. I need to do something, so that my coins go to my daughter when she reaches adulthood (as of now, she is 5 years old). But how to do this? I don't trust my siblings. Else I could copy the private keys in a USB drive and give to them.
17033  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: November 23, 2017, 03:28:06 AM
Will you explain what common  reason why some other country is still experiencing poverty and some person dying because of hunger because of efficiency on food?

I think the common reason why some other country is still experiencing poverty because of the laziness of people.

They are being given the option. Tell me one thing. If the government stops giving out handouts and welfare payments, how can these people afford to be lazy? They will be forced to work. But the politicians don't realize this. They are increasing the volume of the handouts, to get temporary benefits.
17034  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: November 23, 2017, 03:25:57 AM
The level of punishment for rapists is exactly what it should be. Though officially, rapists are only serving a certain number of years for their crime, their time served is much harder than other criminals. For example, a burglar can go in and do his time without much confrontation from other inmates. Rapists, and specifically child abusers, face constant brutalization by other inmates. I think the punishment fits the crime.

You are right. The child molesters face a tough time in the prison. I have heard a lot of things, and I don't want to post them here as they are too graphic. But these people deserve that sort of treatment. Why do they need to rape kids, when they can hire a sex worker for $40 or $50? Then there is one thing though. If the rapist is having good connections, then he will escape from this brutalization.
17035  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: November 23, 2017, 02:18:08 AM
Nope, i don't think Hilary Clinton is a person you can trust. Specially it's a woman, woman isn't trustworthy.

What a pathetic argument. You can't trust Hillary just because she is a female? In that case, do you trust your mother? Do you trust your wife? I am not a big fan of Hillary. On the other hand, I hate her more than any other politician in the United States. But I have solid reasons to hate her, such as her association with the Wall Street criminals.
17036  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OBAMA was the best President in the world on: November 23, 2017, 02:15:55 AM
Obama has bombed seven countries during his career, killing a lot of people. This is not very much compared to Hitler, who bombed many countries more and killed really a lot of folks. But in modern times it is quite an achievement, I don't think that there has been another president in the world in the past 20 years who has killed so many people like Obama. So, yes, I agree, OBAMA was the best President in the world in bombing countries and killing people.

LOL... you are right. But you need to remember one thing. Obama didn't had much say on the foreign policies. The foreign military interventions (such as the one that happened in Libya), were decided by the triad of Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer. Obama was merely a puppet in their hands, and he was busy playing golf in Hawaii when Libya was being bombed to oblivion.
17037  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: November 23, 2017, 02:13:07 AM
I think that laziness is the main problem of human poverty. There are many examples where people even from the poorest countries were able to achieve great heights thanks to hard work.

You are spot on. There are thousands of options for the poor people to get out of poverty. But the only thing is that they need to work hard. But the problem is that in most of the cases these people don't want to put in the extra effort and want to live off the government welfare schemes and handouts. They are not at all interested in learning new skills.
17038  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: November 23, 2017, 02:10:53 AM
i am not sure how the world will change in 100 year, but i can sure if the world dont have any war in 100 year, our world will become very advance.

Don't dream too much. Wars will be there as long as the human race exists on this planet. Even the most developed nations such as the United States and Russia are constantly engaging in warfare. That means that no amount of technological advance or progress can make warfare obsolete. It is a reality, and our only option is to get used to it.
17039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I hope 2018 will be an awesome year for cryptoworld and especially BTC !! on: November 22, 2017, 03:44:26 AM
I have been around for quite a while, so I am being more cautious. The year 2017 reminds me of 2013. In 2013 also, the exchange rates went from $10 per coin to $1,000 per coin. And in 2017, the increase was from $1,000 per coin to $8,200 per coin. I just don't want what happened in 2014 to repeat in 2018.
17040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: November 22, 2017, 03:40:09 AM
Bitcoin will always be considered as a high risk investment. Right now the exchange rates are going at around $8,200 per coin. The most optimistic scenario by the end of 2018 may be a price of somewhere around $50,000 per coin. The most skeptical scenario being somewhere around $800 per coin. If you are ready to take that much risk, then even now it is not too late to invest in Bitcoins.
