17101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people like Trump? on: November 19, 2017, 04:58:13 AM
Because people are sick of elites and this was one of the rare occasions when they had a change to show them the middle finger - if only by electing a different kind of elite.

Trump definitely had zero chance, if he was up against Sanders. But the Democrat party sabotaged its own primaries and rigged the ballot boxes in order to declare Hillary as the winner. As a result a lot of youth, who had supported Sanders abstained from voting in the main elections. And this is the reason why Hillary got lower than expected votes in the rust-belt region.
17102  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: November 18, 2017, 07:29:44 AM
It is too early to predict the future prices of Bitcoin Gold. It seems to be having some problems. We were supposed to receive our BTG coins (as free airdrop) sometime in late October and till now we haven't received them. Exchanges such as YoBit have activated BTG futures trading, but the exchange rates can vary a lot once the real trading starts.
17103  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 18, 2017, 07:27:51 AM
What is wrong with that?

It was the early adopters who took the risk of mining Bitcoins (with their own money) in 2010 and 2011, when the mainstream media channels were mocking Bitcoin as a ponzi scheme. It were these same people who popularized Bitcoin through blogs and social media. If they should not benefit out of Bitcoins, then who else should benefit from it?
17104  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best Countries for Bitcoin Businesses on: November 18, 2017, 07:25:08 AM
Switzerlaaaaaand!🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭

I would add Japan and Singapore as well. These nations are also very friendly as far as Bitcoin is concerned. Russia is also shedding its hostility towards Bitcoin and trying to attract BTC-based businesses and mining ventures in to that country. Let's see how that progresses. 2018 is going to be a crucial year. Many more nations are going to legalize Bitcoin.
17105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: November 18, 2017, 07:13:48 AM
I am keeping a part of my coins in online wallets and the remaining part in paper wallets. I am planning to buy a Ledger Blue for sometime now, but it seems to be a bit risky as of now. If I store my coins in a hardware wallet, then it increases the risk of robbery or confiscation. Other people will come to know that I own some coins, and I don't want that to happen.
17106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 18, 2017, 07:08:48 AM
For the past 2-3 days, the exchange rates are going up and down within the $7,500 - 8,000 range, with Bitcoin cash in the $1,000 - 1,500 range. The combined price of both BTC and BCH is roughly stable, at around $9,000 per coin. Another thing I have noticed is that when the BTC price is going up that of BCH is going down, and vice versa.
17107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Working Abroad is a lot of sacrifice. on: November 18, 2017, 07:06:50 AM
Yes. It is a lot of sacrifice. You will do anything for your family even if it is working abroad. Just to give them a good life. You will take all the risk and you have to be ready to leave or to be far away from your family. Actually, my wife is working overseas and currently, I'm working too in a company based in our country. We have two kids, and my kids are always missing their mother. My wife feels so homesick, but, we are planning to have a vacation where she works.

It can be quite difficult for a woman to stay away from her kids. Being a female, I can understand the situation. I just hope that your wife will be able to find a good job in your hometown in the near future. Or if you get a decent job, then she can leave her job and take care of the children. Anyway, I would not advice her to stay away from the kid for long.
17108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: November 18, 2017, 04:48:32 AM
Scary as it may seem, we may not leave a very safe place to live on for the next generation. I don't think its really being taken seriously  amd hopefully we realize that before we run out of time

As sad as it may sound, our future generations are going to suffer terribly for our actions. The land available for agriculture will get reduced due to encroachment from the ocean and climate change, incidence of cancer and other illnesses will rise due to pollution, and there will be acute shortage of water and food due to constant droughts.
17109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: November 18, 2017, 04:46:30 AM
Buddhism is the most peaceful and non-aggressive religion. That's why I sympathize with them.

Compared to the other religions, oriental religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Confucianism are more peaceful. The advantage with these religions is that they never say that their religion is the best in the world and other religions are bad. And they never forcibly convert anyone to these religions or destroy the places of worship belonging to the other religions.
17110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War on DRUGS and the extrajudicial KILLINGS on: November 18, 2017, 04:38:20 AM
First, let's take a look at the results. So far, I can see that the crime rate has been reduced by a significant amount. This means that most of the criminals are either dead, or behind the bars. And therefore it will be unfair to claim that Duterte's campaign against the drugs didn't had any impact at all.
Did you even consider the moral implications of what you said?
Long term implications? Its not like criminality is genetic, and will get wiped out.
Civilisation is made on due process, and will collapse without it.

What I said was that crime rate has been reduced.

And there are two reasons for that. The first reason is that many of the criminals have been put behind the bars. The second reason is that some of the criminals (who refused to surrender) were shot dead by the police. Now I am also concerned with the second point. Obviously, some of the killings were not justified, given the state of affairs of the Philippines police. But desperate times need desperate measures and I don't think that Duterte had any other option.
17111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: November 18, 2017, 04:35:35 AM
USA ... Dont fuck with them, they have everything to win great war.
That will be totally be dependent on who the USA and it's allies are fighting in World War 3,if they are fighting Iran or North Korea they are going to win, but if they are fighting the likes of China or Russia, we will be confident that there will be no Victor in the end.

A combined force of China and Russia will turn out to be much more powerful than the Americans, because it represents a deadly combination of technology and manpower. Right now Russia is having the best defense technology in the world. On the other hand, China is having the largest population for any country in the globe.
17112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the real problem of man? on: November 18, 2017, 04:28:37 AM
Maybe the real problem of man that always leads to cruelty is being greedy, selfish, and ambition to rule.

I have to agree. I have noticed that it is in the basic human nature to be greedy and selfish. And it is not limited just to the humans. These are applicable even to the animal world (especially among primates such as chimpanzees). So if someone tells you that he is not greedy or selfish, either he is lying, or he is trying hard to hide his emotions.
17113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: November 18, 2017, 04:26:38 AM
i am an believer on gods, i do believe in my mind gods have created our society, they have made our life become more value due to spirit trusts.

No. God didn't created the society. The humans created it. Our life will become more valuable, if we learn new things and implement them in life. God can never do anything like that. Te most important thing is that you should have faith in yourself and you should be ready to work hard. If you are not able to do that, then no beliefs can save you.
17114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to? on: November 18, 2017, 04:24:28 AM
Frankly speaking, even if God commanded me to kill my own children, I will not do it. I love my children. I gave everything to them. I knew this story of Abraham that God asked Him to kill his own son, but sorry, I'm not that kind of person. I will gladly take the punishment for not obeying Him but, I will not kill my own child.

God will never ask you to kill your children because there is no god. And if the god ask you to kill your child, then why should you obey him? You don't need to worship someone who urges you to kill your kids. It is not about faith and punishment, but about common sense. For me, my kids are more precious than anything in this world. I hope your kids are also like that for you.
17115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: November 18, 2017, 04:21:31 AM
I am residing in a country which is having a total population of 1.3 billion. And the worst thing is that the population is still growing, at an astounding rate of 25 million per year. I would say that the overpopulation is the biggest issue facing my country. All the other issues, such as corruption, poverty, communal clashes.etc are resulting from it.
17116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Silver Fork - December on: November 17, 2017, 03:49:51 AM
No more forks. I just got an email from gdax that some people will try to go through with segwit2x. Get ready for another dip in price.

Segwit2x is happening now, Nov 17, Coinbase will disable sending / buying BTC. Check your email if you in coinbase subscription list,.
Really, it's cancelled and already announced how can coin base do fork ? weird.
disable not makes that exchange run a hard fork.

It is confusing. I checked the YoBit exchange and they are still permitting YOB2X / BTC trading. I even got free YOB2X coins a few days back (I dumped them immediately). And check this:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/segwit2x/

Coinmarket cap is still showing that SegWit2x [Futures] is active, with a price of $350 per coin.
17117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 17, 2017, 03:43:01 AM
Currently there is no altcoin replacing Bitcoin. but someday there must be and currently I see the potential to replace Bitcoin is Etherium. many features of Etherium are not owned by Bitcoin.

Ethereum showed a lot of promise, but now it is on the decline. The rate of adoption has stagnated and the user base is not increasing. And moreover, right now ETH is under serious threat from BCH, for the competition for the second most valuable crypto-currency (in terms of market capitalization).
17118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CME regulating BTC in 4days - BTC will skyrocket? on: November 17, 2017, 03:39:53 AM
The prices have already increased by some 15% during the last 48 hours. And with the latest development, I expect the prices to reach $10K per coin. I was expecting this price somewhere in the mid-2018. Now it seems like we will be having $10,000 per coin by the end of this year.
17119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: November 17, 2017, 03:37:17 AM
Bitcoin can be used for crimes. The fast and easy transaction that will not verify by the policemen and government can be used by criminals because the transaction can be hide and cannot be trace anymore.

Anonymity used to be one of the advantages of Bitcoin. But that is not the case anymore. A few months back, the cops in Denmark arrested a few drug dealers after tracing their Bitcoin transactions. So drug dealers are more careful now. They have shifted to anonymous coins such as Monero and Blackbytes.
17120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the United States of America? on: November 17, 2017, 03:32:41 AM
Yes, i do believe that United States of America is a strong country.

The question is not whether you consider the United States to be a strong country or not. The question is whether you trust the actions of the American government or not. I have already made my points clear. I don't trust the United States government. They are a bunch of liars and cheaters.
