Don't you still have warranty on the S7 ?
17163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 21, 2015, 11:23:46 PM
Hmm.. So basically if I wanted to try and let someone here me out, and only had around, say, 1.5 btc to start out with.. I'd be wasting my time, right?

It means if you want to start a gambling site then you will need huge budget to make it work or you will be wasting your time. Everyone think making gambling site means to get rich instantly but it is not because you need to spend budget and also your time , without that your gambling site will not work

You probably need to offer more than just money and time.  You also likely need to either be very interested in gambling sector or have great experience to gain the needed edge.  Money and time sets the foundations for sure.

Yes exactly because if you open a website and there are technical issues. People will just withdraw or call your site a scam and you will have a hard time going from there.
17164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 21, 2015, 11:23:06 PM

Gambling will pay based on the risk we take. So how much risk we take that much reward we can expect from gambling. Gambling is not at all luck based, but if we have through knowledge then making big bitcoin or money from gambling must be a easy task.

You think gambling is not at all luck based?  Lol!  I haven't heard stuff like this since people used to tell me there was skill to betting on dice.  Of course gambling is luck based, that is why people keep coming back to it.
There are methods to make odds go in your favor. Most of them involve cheating or inside information haha.

All types of risks are based on luck. But if you are talking into account house edge, then its based on probability as long as you play long enough.
17165  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY EXPERIENCE WITH BITCOIN GAMBLING on: October 21, 2015, 11:22:26 PM
Yep. Poker is the best option for someone who wants to win some coins gambling. It still has a gambling component, but if you play it right, and know how to use probabilities you can easily make some money Wink

I agree to this. So far I made a little profit on poker, but had a big loss on luck-based games and sports betting. Sad

Honestly Poker with online gambling is not really that much fun. Its fun to play with other players and you can see who is the amateur and who is the professional.

Is that the reason why some of the bets show "winning" on your webpage and are "losing" when you check the tx?

nvm it is the malleability that screwed my winnings once again....

This tx:
https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446

has the the date and time of this winning:

As shown here:
http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446

But when it was put in the first block that was available it was changed into:

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/78a17ba231ce3dd55759f5b4e5732bfed519b22546bc5f3b28738a0c2792db47

which is a loss of course as shown here:
http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=78a17ba231ce3dd55759f5b4e5732bfed519b22546bc5f3b28738a0c2792db47

On those tradeblock pages you can see both tx are conflicting with each other and only the losing one got confirmed, however this link http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446 shows I made the transaction as displayed on site.

So for now until malleability has been solved it has no use for me to play with your site as I have no control on actually when I place the bet. And it kinda sucks when placing a bet and winning and due to outside forces getting overruled and lose.

Yes the malleability is so bad this month that I basically took a break from betting on Binary options because it causes alot of losers.

Too bad you can't have an account on SecondsTrade so you don't have to send BTC transactions for each bet.
17168  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: October 21, 2015, 11:19:26 PM

was stupid enough to deposit again... at least a small profit this time (ca.61500 reds)...

Wow. Congrats. How many rolls did you have to do to win?
17169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 21, 2015, 11:18:05 PM
It isn't exactly true that everyone loses in the long run.  The correct phrasing would be, most people lose in the long run due to probability and stats.  There are always a few lucky people who bend that rule though.

This is exactly why I wrote my post, please read it. No one can bend the rules. We are talking about casino games with house edge of course. Some other games, like sports betting, poker, prediction ones, they require certain skill and research (although you generally lose there too). But at least in those, in theory, you are the one choosing based on facts or just plain knowledge.

If you find poker games with zero rake or 100% rakeback it probably isnt even right to call it gambling, a very average player could beat a game like that in the long run.  Its hard to find games with no rake/100% rakeback but for example on a site like stars the FPP games are a no rake game with plenty of players.

Where would you find those? Or do you mean that the odds are 100% to players just like it is for instance with Poker, where if you play at your friends place instead of a casino, you get 100% of the deposit.

I think he means in a real life casino not online. The rules are completely different between the two mediums.
17170  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Avalon 6 Vs Antminer S7, which one you will choose? on: October 21, 2015, 12:36:44 PM
It will probably cost as much as an S7 due to the fact that they make low numbers of these miners and don't expect to sell many of them.

17171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 21, 2015, 11:59:44 AM
I have made over 50mBTC in the green profit over sports betting,
you ask how?

Follow me here @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1214485.0 / https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1214479.0

Wink

50mbtc is not that much. I ever saw people bet 25btc and win around 16 btc in just one game. That is pretty scary to see his bet, if I talk about winning I guess people will start join him rather than you only earning 0.05. Sorry no offense

earnings is earnings. win is still a win no matter what happened even if its a few cents or a million. some of us have bigger bankroll so they can afford to bet high amounts but the reality is not all of us are like that

Sports betting is really difficult for me. I tried it in the past and it seems very easy in hindsight but when you are betting on actual games, its very difficult to win.

17172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you typically gamble in? on: October 21, 2015, 09:15:13 AM
Bitcoins!
For two reasons : 1.Safest and direct transfers and withdrawal policies
2.Most of the websites almost all my fav's accept bitcoins as the primary source of payment .I don't mind betting in alt but have heard people getting scammed  while the transfers were issued for the first time to random accounts .

Yes but lately with the attacks on the network sometimes it takes forever for a transaction to appear on the blockchain. Also the difficulty is weird and sometimes it takes 30 minutes for one confirmation.

Are you guys having server issues at the moment?

Whenever I load the website it looks like a Windows 95 version where its all text and no graphics.

Also can't login.

We are not having any issues. Are you attempting to load the website with PC and Windows OS? What browser do you use? If it is inconvenient, you can reply in PM or send email to us at support@fortunejack.com

Yes with a PC with Chrome and Firefox.

It either loads like this or 505 error.

I only bet with DOGE because fees are lower and it's better to say that you won 25 125 DOGE than 1,5 LTC Wink.
It seems everybody is saying DOGE. Doge would of been good if it was more stable in price.

Even LTC/BTC is more stable then DOGE.

17176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you typically gamble in? on: October 21, 2015, 06:33:46 AM
Lately I am thinking of switching from BTC and using other currencies such as LTC or XMR or DOGE because BTC confirmations are taking way too long and I am also having issues where every few transaction can take up to 5 minutes to show up on the blockchain.

Also the fees for BTC is also too high when I do many transactions.

Just wondering what is the most popular, lowest fees and fastest alt currency to use on gambling websites.

Use doge if you want to save some fee . The fee for this coin is the lowest from all of the other coins and confirmation time is faster. Also there is alot of doge out there even if you want to us ea huge amount

Doge is good but the problem is that everyday or so it keeps going down in value by like 1% or so. In 3 months it lost almost half its value. I highly doubt everybody bought doge at 20 Sats

If you are patient enough you can probably pick some up for $250 USD or so.

17178  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread oct 15th to oct 29th picks are open!! With a bonus reward. on: October 20, 2015, 11:17:32 PM
1588BTC is around what like 150 Miners or so? When you account with shipping and PSU sales.

150X5=0.75Pth/s.

It will hardly affect the overall difficulty.
17179  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★No.1 BITCOIN BINARY OPTIONS ★HIGHEST REWARD 190%★1% DOUBLE DICE★EXPIRY:1~720MIN on: October 20, 2015, 11:15:00 PM

Read the rules on their websites

5Seconds+3
If you select "UP",  when expiry price > entry price  + 3, you will win , at this time reward will be  471%
If you select "DOWN", when expiry price <= entry price + 3, you will win , at this time reward will be  125%

Its very hard to win with the 5Seconds+3, very low odds.
