In my opinion, Ethereum currently does not have a driver for growing. It has infinite inflation, so the miners sell new ETH coins as fast as they can. Unfortunately, the ICO campaigns are going slow during the current general bearish trend. People have a negative mood regarding the situation on crypto exchange markets.
Ripple is a "crypto currency" created by banks. Now the XRP capitalization is greater than the ETH capitalization by $2.5 billions. Moreover, I'm pretty sure that bankers will pump their "coin", therefore I don't think that Ethereum will be rated second again in the near future.

Хотя, я думаю, по мере утряски крипты народ по линиям поодержки (дна) поймет что в расчете на один пентахеш битка столько то электроэнергии издержек. Соответственно умножив это на халвинги получаем курс с динамикой по времени. Иными словами сам биток станет стейблкоином со временем.
К примеру сейчас при сложности 7,42 Т, и курсе 6570 получаем 885 баксов на единицу Т.
Все равно рано или поздно будет достигнуто днище по Т, которое станет его стабильной минимальной себестоимостью.
Соглашусь, но думаю, что стабилизация курса битка в районе ~ ± 1,5к баксов со временем решит проблему стейблкойна. Альтернативой вижу эфир, несмотря на то, чтобы не говорили его противники. Сомневаюсь насчёт Ethereum, у него бесконечная эмиссия, плюс прямое негативное влияние в случае мошенничеств в ICO кампаниях и последующем обналичивании ETH на криптовалютных биржах. Так понимаю, что, по Вашему мнению, реальная себестоимость майнинга одной монеты Bitcoin равна $1500. Слишком много было потребителей, которые форкают, пользуются апдейтами, но даже не удосуживаются Мэрикоин себе залистить. Мне и инвесторам это надоело.
Жаль, что этот проект больше не будет развиваться как open-source биржа. В любом случае, была проделана отличная работа. Действительно, зачем потребители убирали койн разработчика софта, это была своего рода реклама этой монеты. |

Почему именно этот набор цифр? Почему не какой-то другой? Об этом знает только NSA, по крайней мере я не нашел (да особо и не искал) никаких публичных источников рассказывающих о том, почему именно это число выбрано и чем оно так приглянулось. Вообще, такое у меня ощущение сложилось, что этот вопрос все стараются обходить стороной, не связываться и ни дай Бог не привлекать внимания органов власти и правопорядка США. Ну типа выбрали и выбрали, нам, холопам, не дано знать. Формулы для эллиптических кривых разрабатывают математики-криптографы. Вроде бы, буква "k" в названии "secp256k1" означает, что используется эллиптическая кривая Коблица. Наверно, поэтому Сатоши Накамото при создании Bitcoin выбрал именно эту эллиптическую кривую, а не, например, кривую "NIST P-256", скорее всего, имеющую бэкдор. Sometimes the prices of new listed tokens significantly drop on crypto exchange markets because bounty hunters sell their rewards immediately and massively. It depends on the total budget of the bounty campaigns. Typically, 2% bounty can temporarily reduce the price to -10%. If the project looks good and its team is experienced, do not worry about it. As far as I remember, the SEC explained why they did not approve a Bitcoin ETF at the end of August 2018. One of the reasons is that 95% of BTC coins are concentrated on 5% of the BTC addresses which are in circulation. SEC also stated that the BTC price is highly manipulated and they mentioned Bitconnect.
I hope that the opinion of this agency will change in the future. Undoubtedly, ETF could be a strong driver for the growth of the Bitcoin price.

Those predictions are getting lower and lower by the minute. What happened with all that 100k in 2019? I used to laugh at Tom Lee and his predictions getting lower and lower and this is another case. 6 months ago the Internet was so full of the new ATH promises, and now all they can make up is 15k in 2019. That's sad.
I agree with you, it upset me. Their predictions are getting lower and lower month by month. Almost no one says about $60K anymore. In my opinion, this prediction is not very optimistic because investors need to wait one full year until Bitcoin reaches $15K by the end of 2019. On the other hand, such predictions look more plausible. |

It looks like we may be close to the final bottom and it would be another typical Bitcoin cycle completed. if this cycle ends up mirroring 2011, the target is close to $1200.  it would be pretty depressing to see bears threatening the 2013 ATH! i'm hopeful the crash will end by 85%, near the $3000 support. whatever happens, it probably won't parallel either the 2011 or 2014 cycles to the tee. markets rarely repeat things exactly. Perhaps this crash will encourage new investors to buy Bitcoin or other crypto currencies. Many people said they regret that they didn't buy BTC in early times when its price was low. Now some of them are likely to be coin holders. New money may appear on the crypto exchange markets due to this collapse. I heard that several trading analysts warned of a bubble in this economic field. |

In markets there is a saying; some times doing nothing is the best option. In other words, find yourself something else to focus on. Try utilize your time in the best possible manner, because sitting here being frustrated about the price is an utter waste of time, because you'll be doing the same thing for months straight. The price won't miraculously rocket up to $10,000 any time soon.
I think that watching prices is not a waste of time if the OP has money to invest. I believe that now crypto currencies have fallen deep enough and the local bottom may be somewhere here. The basic rule of trading is "buy low, sell high". This means that the OP should sold his coins a month ago. He would have saved his wealth and he currently would have been waiting for the next attractive moment to open a new trading position. |

I looked at the charts of Ethereum. The ETH price has already dropped to $101 on November 25, 2018. This is a local bottom for now. I see how manipulators and miners are currently playing their game, shaking up crypto exchange markets, so I tend to agree that the Ethereum price will only have two digits soon. It seems the bubble has burst.

Bull run in this December would be nice, but to be honest, I don't believe it will happen. Maybe coin prices will slightly bounce back after the previous crash. I see the new top-rated crypto currency which has been added to CoinMarketCap just now, its name is Bitcoin SV. I heard that this is a fork of Bitcoin Cash. I guess that investors will strongly pump this coin.

- According to Coin-1's newbie rank-up thread, 4289 newbies received their first merit and became Jr. Members between September 17 - November 9. This includes the massive boost after the 1 merit requirement for Jr. Member rank was introduced. ~500 Jr. Members have been banned during that time period.

Судя по CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin уже опустился ниже $3800 (-14%) и держит курс на $3000. Об альтах и говорить не нужно, Ethereum уже почти $100, остальные монеты тоже хорошо льют до -20%. Похоже, предыдущее падение цен спровоцировало панические продажи на криптовалютных рынках, и сейчас народ сливает свои монеты.
Странно видеть в небольшом плюсе Bitcoin Diamond, по отношению к BTC рост +17%. Видимо, кто-то решил спасти свои финансы и купить BCD. По графикам видно, что по фиату эта монета почти не падала во время краха топовых криптовалют.
