1721  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PDAX EXCHANGE system Error? Has a price for 300k PHP for 1 BTC last Feb 15 on: February 19, 2021, 06:18:40 PM
PDAX will, for sure, force the lucky people to give back the coins to them and will offer some form of trade fee waives and whatnot. It is their duty to ensure that their platform works at optimal condition at all times, including on unlikely events such as these. They can threaten to take legal actions dun sa mga nakabili, ang tanong e on what grounds? Cheesy

Worst that could happen e baka ma-blacklist lang sila sa PDAX and that's it.

(source)

1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if the major holders of bitcoin all decided to sell it all? on: February 18, 2021, 07:48:39 PM
https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/09/diar-research-less-than-1-of-crypto-wallets-hold-87-of-all-bitcoins/

It's kind of concerning that so few people hold so much bitcoin.

Are these holders even active or what? I'm guessing they bought at the beginning and are all just holding.

That's easy, it will make the market price of bitcoin drop when whales, companies, etc. sell their bitcoins in the market, especially if it is a big volume of bitcoin.

Obviously, it could end up in market manipulations, when you get in bitcoin early or invest in bitcoin when the price is just too low at some point when the market price is pumping to the moon somehow they need to make a profit in it and sell some of that bitcoins.

When the price is too high it just so risky to hold because the market price could be overpriced and it's risky when a lot of companies is holding price could easily drop when one whale sell potential others could sell as well.
1724  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Discord Channel by Cyrus on: February 17, 2021, 08:04:33 PM

1725  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bilyonaryo dahil kay BTC on: February 16, 2021, 01:30:50 PM

1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs gold on: February 16, 2021, 10:07:15 AM
Ethereum price is higher than that of gold now.
Ethereum has a large market cap than gold.
Ethereum is overtaking gold in all ways

wait what?

Ethereum is all down to 56

https://8marketcap.com/?search=

Maybe we could expect changes soon for sure, bitcoin is growing ridiculously after a few months and we could expect that growth also when it comes to ETH especially after ETH2.0.

Ethereum price is higher than that of gold now.
Ethereum has a large market cap than gold.
Ethereum is overtaking gold in all ways

I'm not sure you're serious, but you can still compare the two graphs:

The difference in the market capitalization of Ethereum and Gold is huge, and in general, in my opinion, it is not correct to compare the two types of assets at all.

Barrick Gold is a mining company and you're looking at the market cap of the company itself, not GOLD.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: February 16, 2021, 09:28:03 AM
I don't know if we're the same but in this school year (2020-2021) Bitcoin is now being introduced to our school, although it may not be introduced to other courses, since I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) hence, we are to take Bitcoin and the history of BTC. It's actually great that schools are putting Bitcoin to their curriculum, with that, I got to share my experience with Bitcoin, I got the chance to share my knowledge about the history of Bitcoin and how much I benefited from this.

I also decided to post it here because I think this is a big leap towards the future, from people doubting about Bitcoin and now, people are heavily relying on it, being informed, buying bitcoins, learning the ways on how to exactly earn bitcoins.

P.S - Okay, so for those who are asking on what country, type of school am I in, I currently live in the Philippines which is a third world country, a country that is not yet solidified when it comes to technology, and education that is not as advanced as it may seem, since we are focused on the main subjects, Bitcoin and the technology of Blockchain has unlikely entered, well, educationally speaking, but my school (a college institute) and probably many more has started off talking about Blockchain, there are no downsides to this since we are only talking about it and studying but they're not encouraging students just yet to become enthusiastic about Bitcoin, probably in the future.

I'm thinking of adding bitcoin as a part of the course maybe when it comes to technology-related subjects we could somehow learn some about blockchain technology.

Mostly a lot of blockchain developers don't really have their own course but more like a self-taught online or online course but as blockchain technology is being trendy hopefully it will be added to some subjects on BSIT.

Hopefully, the more people will learn this the more bitcoin will easily adapt to a country because a lot of people still don't know what is a cryptocurrency and even bitcoin.

1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2021, 05:37:12 PM
When your just an ordinary person and don't have any idea what is bitcoin it's just so difficult to believe especially if you don't have any experience in digital transactions.

Most of the time like some of my friends that do not believe in bitcoin cannot believe that you can actually earn that kind of profit by just investing in cryptocurrency.

And they gonna believe that especially if your in a country that when it comes to online things scam are so frequently happened and not so expose to this kind of technology
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys 1.5 BILLION worth Bitcoins !! Good or Bad ? on: February 15, 2021, 04:54:56 PM
It is good because it will make the market price of bitcoin pump for sure and for even bitcoin holder we could easily make a good profit and probably hold for even longer.

At the same time, it's riskier for companies to be in bitcoin as they invested in bitcoin for potential profits holding a big amount of bitcoin for this company for sure they will gonna hold for long term.

But it could easily be manipulated when companies are holding big chunks of bitcoin, so just make sure that you are holding bitcoin when the price skyrocket because of this companies.
1730  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Xian Coin open to p2p? on: February 15, 2021, 03:47:24 PM

1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2021, 08:38:20 PM
Just recently SQUAWK newsmaker interview with the CEO of UBER.
At first, the CEO said, they are likely don't want to buy some Bitcoin using their company's money and told, "We're going to keep our cash safe. - Tweet"

But after that, the CEO said:
"Just like we accept all kinds of local currency we are going to look at cryptocurrency and or #bitcoin in terms of currency to transact. That's good for business, that's good for our riders and our eaters" - Tweet.

So, what are your thoughts guys? For me, it's likely they don't want to do what Tesla did, adding Bitcoin to their balance sheet, but considering accepting Bitcoin as payments for their services. Seems still bullish for me.

After Tesla's announcement, a lot of companies as well are interested in bitcoin and for sure holding for a long term to make a profit for the company.

Again it's good news because if big companies invested in bitcoin, the bitcoin market price would pump but as they hold a big volume of bitcoin it was risky as well to hold your bitcoin as the price increases.

Potentially if the market price was so high maybe like 500k$ one of these companies could dump or sell their bitcoin getting all the profit.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 14, 2021, 07:30:15 PM
Just half an hour ago, Elon Musk tweeted that he has purchased Dogecoin. This is hilarious. Finally he is getting into crypto (may be he was here for long ago). I just got the reason behind his shilling lol.
Here- https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1359519541219500033?s=19

For sure Elon musk invested in the DOGE coin and probably he just wants profit I mean he is very influential in the cryptocurrency community.

And with just a simple tweet could easily affect the price of a token and we already see that happened in the bitcoin market price, he might just pick a low-value token invested in it and then hype the token in social media that might be the case in DOGE coin.

One thing is for sure he has a reason for it and it's gaining him profit for sure, I will not believe it if he's just doing it for fun but somehow I make money in trading the coin but I have no plan in holding long term.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: February 14, 2021, 06:54:31 PM
The dogecoin has already pumped up twice with the help of popular persons like Elon Musk, now that many people are trying to invest in Dogecoin, expecting to have another madness on doge. So what if, Elon Musk and other popular experts stopped supporting this meme coin, is there are a possibility that Dogecoin reaches 1$ on its own?

Well, like what I've said, this is just a meme coin, no utility, no usage but what do you think will be the realistic value of Dogecoin for the upcoming years?

I think for now it is impossible to happen just like what you said it was just a meme coin with no utility and no usage who want to invest in that kind of project?

In my opinion, everything or every pump was just an Elon musk hype, I mean technically reaching 1$ is possible but the DOGE coin is gonna need to reach a high market cap, I would maybe invest in that coin but it would be a quick profit I will sell it immediately if I have enough profit.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite 3 coins right now? on: February 14, 2021, 06:38:22 PM
Hi, I'm just wondering what your favourite 3 coins would be to invest in right now? I have BTC, ETH and DOT but would like to consider other options.

There will just so many altcoins to invest and mostly a lot of altcoins are pumping because of its altcoin season in the market.

But this is some of the altcoins tokens that I think have a good potential especially in the long term investment, Polkadot (DOT) is one of the biggest investment in my portfolio as well as BNB and of course Bitcoin.

I suggest ADA, ETH, GRT, LINK, XLM, and XRPbecause if the lawsuit end price is gonna skyrocket and you want to be on the seller's side if that happened. I recommend investing in just high market cap tokens.
1735  Local / Pamilihan / Re: DefiChane Scam in Discord on: February 14, 2021, 06:07:39 PM

1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: February 14, 2021, 05:26:48 PM
i have been in the cryptocurrency field since 2014 and i have seen the brightest and darkest days of BTC but when i look at the current rising conditions of the bitcoin market i see that we have come a long way and most of the world is accepting the cryptocurrency payments and some lager brands are also connected to the BTC world.

but sometimes a thought crosses my mind that will these conditions last longer and better in the future?

what do you guys have to say about it?

let us know  Smiley

In my opinion, it is going to last longer all of the companies and potential bitcoin will be the future, but still, we don't know what could happen in the future something everything could be gone even bitcoin.

But for now, if everything just continues on what it is there is a high chance that larger companies are going to be interested as well in bitcoin and adapt to bitcoin.

It just riskier to hold bitcoin because we don't know what could happen and we know the volatility of bitcoin with just one bad news or article it could easily bring the price down.
1737  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AirDrop Lovers PassoooooK ;) on: February 14, 2021, 05:07:16 PM

1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Morgan Stanley May Bet on Bitcoin in $150 Billion Investment Arm on: February 13, 2021, 05:35:48 PM
For bitcoin holders like us, it's good news considering the last pump of bitcoin was a big one, more bitcoin adaptation and news like this could easily make the market price pump maybe up to 60k$ in just the end of February.

After the Tesla announcement, a lot of companies are also considering bitcoin as a company investment I just can't wait anymore for the billion dollars or even trillion dollars companies to also use bitcoin as their assets.

Just a simple announcement for like, for example, Microsoft would ridiculously increase the market price for sure, but I still hoping to buy more bitcoin at a much cheaper price hopefully in the correction even a 40k$ would be cheaper after just a few months.
1739  Local / Pamilihan / Re: DefiChane Scam in Discord on: February 13, 2021, 05:19:12 PM

1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 13, 2021, 04:54:17 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

For me investing is my thing because I cannot do a lot of trading because it just takes a lot of time and you need to analyze the market charts as well as doing a lot of research.

And I don't really have a lot of time to do daily trading, for me investing especially for long-term investment is a much higher profit especially if you enter at a low price in a token and exited at a peak price.

Either way, both are a good things as long as you get started in investment or trading and as long as you earn a profit it doesn't really matter that much.
