I ask you, did you value all outcomes of late submissions the same way? I want to be treated the same way as everyone else. I was penalized and I support that. Now I want to be treated the same way for the round against LFC_Bitcoin, as it was applied to everyone else. I can't see how I am any different?

I really don't understand. Please tell us what it is that you feel is unfair.

Your duel in Round 4 vs LFC_Bitcoin was a 3-0 win for you.
If you expect a 6-0 win just because he submitted his answers, not gonna happen. He had 9 questions that were not counted.

You valued it as a 3-0 for me against LFC_Bitcoin. Is that in line with your usual take?

3-0 is the default result if your opponent fails to submit, yes.
If he submits late he can lose with a smaller margin, or even draw/win.

From next season every late submission will be a straight 3-0 loss.

Cup is a bit harder to evaluate because some players that play for fun submit as well, but I think that this is a list of players that did not submit yet.

Code:
bullrun2020bro
chi20
cls63
cryptofrka
Danydee
MAAManda
mv1986
Renato297
ulven
Woodie

If you're among them watch out for the deadline - in the Cup being late means being disqualified.

I'm still mulling over the Tennis question - but in this round waiting does not mean a lot so don't push it to the edge Smiley

While we await this new big update from Steve, there is something worthwhile here to jump on with the Southampton upcoming fixture.

Yup, really cool to see this. GG notblox1 on making it happen, will keep the forum interested in Southampton's results Grin

It was a nice gesture from SB to keep faith in Southampton although they dropped to the Championship.
They still have a decent team and should be able to mount a good challenge, hopefully returning to the Prem.

Considering that the Cup winner's payout equals the Top 3 position in the Division 2, I'm going all in on the Cup.
I've had disappointing results in the league recently, but the cup draw has been kind to me and has offered me a passable opponent.

I hope for an easy win to get some momentum back. I don't even want to think about what a loss would mean to the morale of my team.

If i was Chelsea for 40 million i send Gallager to them with a gift bow.

Same here - but due to quotas English players are even more overvalued.
If he was let's say Turkish, Gallagher would be rated at 7 million Euros and would still struggle to leave Fenerbahce.

Many clubs have such players, take Joe Gomez from Liverpool. Worthless player, but he's English and automatically valued at 20+ million.

1729  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Altcoin novosti on: July 31, 2023, 12:32:38 PM
Gde uopste pratite informacije za altcoin, a da su koliko toliko kvalitetne i pouzdane?
Ja sam to neko vreme pratio, ali su me prilicno zamorili laznjaci i ovi sto pumpaju pricu. Znam da sam par puta bas seo i proveravao, istrazivao nekoliko velikih alt najava, i ni jedan me nije ubedio. Samo sam imao osecaj uzalud potrosenog vremena.
Imate li neki sistem kako prepoznati makar mali potencijal?

I finally watched the race yesterday, hoping for some excitement because the penalty to Verstappen. Still, his car is too good - and he's a great driver as well so it was the same again.

I don't like the TV broadcast of F1 - and therefore rarely watch it. Looks slow and is extremely boring for me.
Yesterday my friend showed me how he watches through the app, where you can choose the driver and watch directly from the top of his car all the time - and I had a fantastic time watching like that.

I plan to buy the subscription for that, so expect me to be much better in the pool next season when I'll actually be watching the races Grin

Gallager not was transfered? Or maybe i heard bad. But i fully agree with you in names its pretty low tier team midfield, only Enzo Fernandez its a super star, and im not saying it because he is argenitinian, i remember him good when he played here on Defensa y Justicia and River Plate, he is top class, imagine when he was on River Plate, i was always thinking on how Real Madrid dont sign him.

He was linked with Spurs but nothing happened yet. Chelsea needs him to stay now - imagine their midfield without him as well.
Enzo is good, agreed, but I was really shocked when they spent 100 mil to get him. There are many other players I'd target for that kind of money.

In other news, Fabinho is really close to his Saudi transfer - meaning that Liverpool will look for a midfielder as well. I can see us and Chelsea battling over Caicedo, overpaying by 20 million in the process.

Fair play to Popyrin - he was a set down in the final again and managed to turn it around, even with a knee injury. He deserves the title, his first on clay and second overall.

It wasn't really a high-quality tournament in Umag this season - the tennis was much better last year. But seeing Wawrinka play live is something to cross off my bucket list.
One-handed backhands are slowly dying and seeing the best ones live is a rare treat - considering I play onehanded as well, it was really nice to do that.
1733  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: July 31, 2023, 09:21:58 AM

Is there an option to give up here? me against @Cryptofrka, it's like Real Madrid (Cryptofrka) Vs Elche (Me) and playing at Santiago Bernabeu. But whatever the result will be, I will try my best later. Hopefully the goddess of fortune is more on my side than @Cryptofrka Cheesy.

My form is worse than Elche's currently Grin

Glad that we're having the Cup, I need a break from the league's disappointments. I expected a lot more from Perez in this race.

I will check again later in the evening, and after DOTA finishes we'll announce the freebets winners as well.

Considering that there's nothing happening other than football (and most of it is during the week), we'll hold only 1 cup round next week.
As always, it will consist of 5 regular questions + a bonus penalty question. Questions will be sent tonight when we complete the BSFL spreadsheet for the league games.

Trofo has sent a cup schedule already and we've calculated the prizes too. This season they will be:

1st place - 6mBTC
2nd place - 4mBTC
3rd place - 3mBTC
2nd place - 2mBTC
5-8th place - 30$ freebet

I see that the points for the waterpolo question are yet to be assigned for few of us. I don't think that I should get 2 points because Csl63 and me guessed only one team that made it to the final game (I have Hungary and Csl63 has Greece). Both of us have answered wrong who will win the co petition so I think that it should be a draw. Shouldn't it?

You're winning without actually knowing what you bet on Grin
You get 2 points for Hungary (finalist and winner), so you win the point here.

I think one month is enough time for improving a team,it is all in the hands of the coach and how much of his mentality he can instill into the players.Another thing is how much this coach can harmonize this team in order to achieve his desired way of game play which according to him will translate into good results throughout the season.

Personally I think Chelsea will improve and I also think that this upcoming season their main objective should be to achieve a spot in the Champions League for the next season,a Champions League without Chelsea sounds a bit strange for this upcoming season.

I meant with transfers - not with training and mentality. They are incredibly weak in midfield and all of their CF/ST options are either young and unproven or simply not good enough.

They are good on the flanks - both defensively and offensively - but without 2 new starting midfielders I think they won't be able to cope. Their midfielders are currently Fernandez, Santos, Gallagher and Chukwuemeka - sounds like Fulham, not Chelsea.

That upper and lower bracket system is the best "knockout" system I have ever seen. If you ask me I would like to see it implemented in all sports. It gives best teams after the group stage one extra life to survive in tournament.

Just remember how many times it happened to Croatia to be best in the group or best in two groups and then to drop out in first game where there is no allowance to slip up in sports like water polo and Handball. While teams that slipped up before passed on. This way that group perfection gets awarded with upper bracket and one slip up is never enough to get you eliminated. This system rewards quality a bit more than chance and that is why GG is such a good pick in DOTA, they finish the tournaments strong even though they look mediocre in early stages.

I actually think it's horrible. Knockout should be exactly that - no second chances.
You lose the upper bracket final and then what? You play a lower bracket final as compensation?
Then you win there - and play in the final against the team that already knocked you out of the competition before. Makes no sense at all.

Wawrinka won so I'll watch him live today - really excited about that.
He's really far away from his best days but is having a good season and a fantastic tournament so far.

He'll be playing Sonego, so it should be a good match. Haven't seen the odds yet, but I'll place some bets on Stan Cool

With Saudi Arabian clubs investing so much money, I wonder why aren't we lucky enough that somebody comes and offers insane money for Salah?
He's a top Muslim player, probably the best one in the world currently, he'd be a fantastic marketing signing for the whole Gulf - yet there are no links with him whatsoever.

If somebody can offer 250 million for Mbappe, I really don't understand the lack of interest in Salah. Considering that he's 31 years old, he could be the league's top player for the next 5 years.
