Its not actually. Check out POT. The big difference between the two coins is POT is actually attempting to achieve real-world integration. It usually refers to heroin now. Actually, DopeCoin was the first "weedcoin" way before POT was even a conception. So your wrong on that front. Dope is perfectly fine for slang for mj , nobody uses POT. I rather call it DOPE anyways. Dope, can be anything " cool" , "heroin" and yes "marijuana" ..the term POT is so generic and stupid in my opinion. Might as well just named yourself "leaf" . |

Didn't know if there is a need for a simple way to cash out your BTC to say PAYPAL or DWOLLA so you don't have to sign up for exchanges or coinbase etc,etc .
If there, how long would you expect to receive your funds and how much do you think is a fair price?

DopeCoin Roadmap Announcement: You asked for it, and we have listened.... as many of you may have already guessed we have decided to change DopeCoin into a POS coin with a much lower max coin total @ 200 Million coins (down from 540 Million), 120 million have already been made via POW to this point. There are still a few hurdles to jump through before we put this into action, we will list the pro's and con's below and are asking you to give us your comments before we start work on the new code.
Upgrade the current wallet:Pro's:- wouldn't need to exchange current coins.
Con's- Android wallet users will not be able to recover coins after pos switch over until we get a new android wallet with POS abilities.
- May cause forking and sycing problems when the swap over occurs (minor issue)
Make Dope V2 and exchange dope v1 coins to dope v2:Pro's- smaller block chain again
- cleaner wallet code
Con's- having to exchange coins, either manually or via a market (if they offer this service)
We will also be adding the "Dark" features many users wanted, so Anon transactions, anon messaging etc and we have a p2p fiat exchange on the way and a market place.Approx Timeline:2-4 weeks POS wallet with advanced features
5-6 weeks fiat p2p exchange
6-8 weeks market place (not decentralised)[/s] |

CANNAPAY is real world adoption for all these weed coins.... monday could improve the lives of many of us...

The thing everyone wants to see is real world adoption of this. If you have a roadmap with real world pot connections in the UK or the US, then that will keep the price moving upward. CANNAPAY is doing a hell of a job and creating markets where you can spend these coins will be a major deciding factor which coin stays and which coins are gone. The whole website taking a coin as a payment is a small gain but integration is key.
This is the key agreed. This is in the works making those connections and using CANNAPAY as a conduit to move this coin forward. Couldn't agree more. |

what the hell are you talking about? Didn't you know? If at any given time a coin isn't in the middle of a meteoric rise with a parabolic trajectory towards the moon then at that particular moment the coin is: dead, over, a pump and dump, destroyed, abandoned, worthless, and a POS. DOPE is dead. Long live DOPE. You have to love the people who say DOPE is dead. |
