now ac milan 2 - 0

 Grin

I completely forgot to place a bet for this game and I had already analyzed it and wanted to bet on Milan, in the end I lost a good chance to profit

Roma 1 - 0 sassuolo

The game is not over yet but one thing that is funny is that Mourinho really likes his style of play where he doesn't want to have more possession of the ball, he just wants goals

The players decided not to disappoint their coach, who played the thousandth game in his professional career and still snatched the victory in added time. In principle, Roma won, as planned, but with adventures and with a score of 2-1. You should have seen Mourinho's breakthrough after the winning goal  Grin Mourinho also tried to cheat and, according to him, lied to the team for several days that this thousandth game was not important for him, but still secretly was afraid of losing. In Milan, I would like to single out Ibrahimovic and express great respect to him that , at the age of 39, he has not yet lost his passion for the game and his scorer's flair, after suffering an injury, continues to score goals.

Honestly, I am still not warmed up to the idea of these sprints. FIA is trying to do something that would put a lot more entertainment, after all this is just a race and if no drama happens then it will get boring very quickly. Look at Monaco, how many people actually loves Monaco when there is absolutely no passing or anything, of course there could be some situations where cars crash, or pit makes a mistake and all that but aside from that it is boring, people usually finish where they start.
All those boring stuff, all those "either Max or Hamilton will win, rarely anyone else" situations ended up with a lot of problems for viewership numbers, so FIA tries to find something fresh to give more stuff to viewers. However is it really the sprint that we should be looking for? I mean is it really the sprint that makes the difference? I have to say this is definitely not the thing that makes me watch the race at all, it is the pit strategies that is the most entertaining part aside from what happens on the track.
Sprint qualifying is a great chance to see Verstappen and Hamilton clash again  Grin There is a tendency that these guys are at such stages to sort out the relationship to the last, wheel to wheel. But seriously, we should also be happy that the halo saved Hamilton from very unpleasant consequences that are not fully compatible with life. The whole question is about money. It is no secret that for the audience, the most important days are Saturday, when qualifying takes place, and Sunday, when the race itself takes place. And so the organizers are trying to attract attention also to Friday and thereby earn more money. So far, there have been only two examples of the changed format and some conclusions will need to be made at least at the end of the season.

Big congratulations to Daniil Medvedev on his first victory in Grand Slam tournaments! Medvedev played an incredible match, was confident in himself during all three sets, only at the first matchballs he began to worry and made double mistakes, but he pulled himself together and still won the match on his next serve. Medvedev became the first tennis player in 10 years to win the US Open after losing only one set during the entire tournament. It is also necessary to note Djokovic, who reached the final, but we must admit that the Serbian does not manage to finish the season. At first, the Olympics in singles and pairs were lost, and Novak did not even play the final in mixed doubles and Novak missed the chance to take the Golden slam. There was still hope for a calendar Grand Slam, but Medvedev, with his brilliant game, deprived him of this chance.

I see the same, very good for Verstappen not only that Verstappen has extended points on Hamilton but also tomorrow has a very very good starting position for tomorrow to be able to make even more points. The two McLaren are not easy opponents for Hamilton and the Mercedes are no longer as superior as in recent years. Hope that next year 3 or even better 4 manufacturers are at the same performance level, is a wishful thinking but not impossible.
Hamilton is faster in lap time over Mclaren but they are very fast in top speed.
If he will not be able in overtaking them the only way he got is to undercut them.
Verstappen will be easier to overtake.
Hamilton managed to fail the start of sprint qualifying to miss not only Verstappen, which in itself is already bad, because it was already clear from previous races that Red Bull and Max are able to defend the leading position throughout the race, but he made trouble for himself, because now he will also have to break through Ricciardo and Norris and now can only hope for a successful start in the race or as quickly as possible to bypass the McLaren drivers, as well as all sorts of surprises. Obviously, Mercedes is already very sorry that they lost Bottas ' leadership positions due to the change of the power plant. In any case, Mercedes has obvious problems both with tactics and also with team tactics, and this may well manifest itself again on Sunday.
1725  Economy / Economics / Re: @Deloitte: "The fiat currency will be gone in 5 to 10 years". on: September 12, 2021, 01:20:12 AM
I am not sure if this will happen only in 5-10 years later, too fast and this world seems not ready enough. Moreover, every country has different conditions. many people are still living in traditional ways, markets, and also payment methods.
Crypto has been more than 10 years, but in my country itself, most people still don't even attract or know about crypto. And crypto is not legal as payment here. So, the government will not let fiat over only 5-10 years later.
Wont happen even on 20 years.Everything might go digital but in the sense that fiat did really make a great role in the past and as long government do exist then its impossible that it would be overtaken
or having some total swap or integration through digital but since we dont know on what would happen in the future then its really that not a sure thing if this would happen or wont.
Basing up on how fast we do progress on then we can really tell that there might be some chances of probabilities but its hard to believe that it would really gone exist that easily
considering government do exist.
I believe that in any case, cash should exist at least for state security, because the presence of electronic devices is not necessary for the functioning of the fiat system, and fiat can exist and function in the most severe conditions of natural disasters and technological disasters. Although, of course, all the emphasis has been transferred to the world of digital currencies for a long time and all states have been betting on this for a long time. Another issue is that digital currencies that are promoted and implemented by states are mostly ordinary fiat centralized currencies under full state control, which operate on new technological platforms, including blockchain.
1726  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Renewable Energy sources the future? on: September 12, 2021, 01:00:19 AM
The technology is not advanced enough or cheap enough to get a good ROI if you invest in solar for the average consumer. You might have hydroelectric power or windmills used in isolation in some countries if the burden of electricity is small, but larger countries don't have any chance at switching to renewable any time soon, so perhaps the answer is what you mean by "the future."
Nuclear power should be in the near future, though. The main problem with nuclear is what to do with the resulting waste, but it seems the carbon foot print of disposing nuclear waste is lower than that of fossil fuels.
I am in favor of renewable energy sources, but I believe that with the introduction of such technologies, it is also necessary to show common sense and not go to extremes. It is quite unpleasant for me to observe how entire fields in nature are blocked by solar panels, disfiguring landscapes that prevent plants and animals from receiving their portion of sunlight, exactly the same can be said about the aquatic environment. It has also been known for a long time that large hydroelectric power plants change the climate and often not for the better in the vicinity of their construction and down the riverbed. The blades of wind generators kill birds. As for nuclear energy, I would like to say the following: now the technology of fast neutron reactors is being introduced, where spent fuel can again be used as fuel, which should almost completely solve the problem of nuclear waste.

1-1 between Napoli and Juventus, it will be a miracle if Juventus will keep this result IMHO.

1:2 final = Disaster. Napoli 3 games and 3 wins. Juventus 3 games and no win, i do not know when there was that in the past at the beginn the season. And when i look at England and see Ronaldo scoring two goals in his first game, he did everything right. Juventus will have hard times in the next months. And there is no teamplay from Juventus...the stats from the game...bad...33% ball possession and only 8 shots on goal.

Very bad performance from Juventus absolutely, 1 point from 3 first matches is a very bad start for team like Juventus.
I do not know what is wrong but I can say that Juventus was better with Pirlo although there were many fans got disappointed with him.
Will it getting worst next week as they have to play against AC Milan?
Let's not make far-reaching conclusions about the first three rounds of the championship that has just begun. Allegri has already proved his professional level throughout his previous career and I think that he will continue to prove it now. If you compare Allegri with Pirlo at a long distance, then given their experience, the advantage will undoubtedly be on the side of Allegri, although of course if the team does not start showing results in subsequent games, the club management may not allow Allegri to go this long distance. But still, I would not say that Juventus was hopeless in this match and both Napoli goals were scored after not the most impeccable actions of Juventus players Moise Keane and Wojciech Szczesny.

I have been thinking about this a lot what if Real Madrid steal Mbappe and Pogba on free, and buy Halland dam then they’ll go on to become completely invincible for year’s to come.

However they’ll need some defensive additions as that’s a department I feel they current lack in, and hence it’ll be interesting to see whom they purchase next season to strengthen that department.

Source:

https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/2021/09/how-real-madrid-will-line-haaland-mbappe-pogba
Haaland and Mbappe can definitely play together, and they can definitely afford them. First of all Real offered 180 million for Mbappe just this year, which was declined but that's good, because next year they will get him for free. Next year they can use that same 180 million to get Haaland, or maybe go to 200 I don't know how much he will be but they can afford him. After that they just need to pay for their salaries and if it is too much, just send some of your players away to cover the difference.
They really can do this, it is financially possible for them to get both of them. Obviously it would be overkill and their other positions would be weaker because of it, but at the same time we are talking about a great deal for them, it may not be a PSG of today type of team over night, but in a few seasons they could afford to get some other players too.
It all depends on how much money will be offered to Borussia Dortmund and the player himself, and whether the plans of the player's entourage in the person of his agent and father are included in the plans, and they decide a lot, the transfer of Haaland to Real Madrid. Agent Mino Raiola knows how to extract big money from rich clubs for his clients and not all big clubs sometimes agree with this. For example, at the end of August, the agent said that he wants a salary for his client in the person of Haaland in the amount of 50 million euros, plus Raiola himself wants to receive 40 million euros in the form of commissions. So in any case, there will be a lot of money at stake and there will certainly be more applicants.

Manchester United's first match is going to be against Young Boys away. I don't see a strong game plan for Young Boys. They barely eliminated Ferencvaros. A problematic group stage is waiting for them I think. Manchester United are highly favored here and fans are waiting for Ronaldo to start playing in this tournament also. I expect at least one goal from him in this match also and Manchester United should be able to win this with at least 2-goal difference.
The Young boys are not a good feet for Manchester United right now the team is on fire and with the addition of Ronaldo to the team make them more scary but this is the champions league and we've seen underdogs winning big games in the past.
In such matches, much depends on the morale of the opposing opponents. On the one hand, it is clear to everyone that the teams have different status and the status of Manchester United is not compatible with the status of the Young Boys, but everything is decided on the green lawn of the football field, and not taking into account the status and past merits. Young Boys are not satisfied with the fans ' expectations for a mandatory win, and Manchester United, on the contrary, must prove the legitimacy of their claims to titles this season and a good strengthening of the squad, and in some cases this can enslave the team and the team does not show the right game. Moreover, this is the first match of the group stage, so everything is not clear here, but of course the advantage is on the side of Manchester United.

I'm glad to see Ronaldo scoring 2 goals already in his first official match at Manchester United. And I'm also happy to see that Arsenal won a match in the league finally. It was by 1-0 but a win is a win in the end. As they were in a terrible form, it is totally normal to see that they didn't get a comfortable win. But they still don't seem trustworthy to me. Their next match is going to be against Burnley and it is an away match. Let's see their next performance.
Just as I was expected, Ronaldo scored the first and second goals against Newcastle. It was a great winning for Manchester United.
While, After playing 4 matches, Arsenal finally got their first winning match. Although, they only scored 1 goal, but anyway, they got 3 points and no longer at the bottom of the table. The first half ended in draw, and Arsenal bounce back in the second half and scored 66 minutes, however the game ended with 1-0 victory to Arsenal. They have to improve their performance, in order to win against Burnley in an away match.
Yes, as I said before, Arsenal just need to win with any score, because both 1-0 and 3-0 are still estimated at 3 points, but just the fact of winning is invaluable for reviving the team's morale. Ronaldo confirmed that he remains a top striker and from the very first match he began to prove it. If Ronaldo became the top scorer in the Italian championship, which has long been famous for its defensive and viscous game, then everything should also be quite successful for the Portuguese in England. Of course, I do not guarantee the first place in Ronaldo's performance in the English Premier League, but if everything is fine with the player's health, then he is quite capable of being among the best.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 11, 2021, 11:22:31 PM
Marco Asensio is actually a very decent player but Real Madrid have many alternatives for the right wing like Rodrygo, Gareth Bale and Lucas Vasquez. Asensio can play as a left winger also but they have Eden Hazard and Vinicius Junior there for him to compete with.
Bale, Hazard, and Vázquez deserve to put on the transfer list, they are no longer young and cannot show the best performance. I think Real Madrid may consider selling these players in the next transfer window if there is no improvement in their performance. So, Asensio is better to stay in Real Madrid because they probably give more chances for Asensio to play in the next season. To remember that Asensio's position is a right-winger (the same as Bale, Vázquez, and Rodrygo). While Hazard and Vinícius play as Left Wingers. Basically, he doesn't compete in the position to play with Hazard and Vinícius.
apart from that I think Vasquez is still very useful when he is in the team, because indeed the versatile performance of Vasquez can benefit Real Madrid because he has been played in a position several times that is not his original position, namely when he managed to beat barca 3-1 and against Borussia Monchengladbach in which their right-backs, namely Dani Carvajal, Alvaro Odriozola and Nacho Fernandez, had to be sidelined due to injury problems.
He is a versatile player so why should he be sold?
Besides that, for Bale I think it will be difficult because indeed with the amount of price that is quite expensive and the salary of Bale who is indeed large, it will be difficult to sell it and which club dares to bid for Bale? there is not any.
even if the transfer window is opened will everything feel that simple? I do not think so.
Bale had to be sold two years ago to the Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, when the player agreed and emu was offered 22 million a year in salary at the club, but Florentino Perez then vetoed the transfer. And in these difficult times, it will be difficult to find a buyer for a football player, the more his contract seems to be already delayed in the next summer. It was from this period that the relationship between the club and the player deteriorated completely, completing the difficult relationship with Zidane, who, on the contrary, wanted to sell Bale. Therefore, the best option for Real Madrid will be to try to integrate Bale into the team game and earn their big salary, and not think about selling the player, especially with Ancelotti, Bale should not have antagonism.

Guys, what do you think about Arsenal vs Norwich City match, can Arsenal win that game or will they lose again for the third time?
I think Arsenal might be the favorite in that game to win, but their performance in the last 2 match is a bit dubious to say they will win easily. The chance may be bigger considering they are playing at home, and this match will be an important match for them to bounce back or have to stay at the bottom of the table.
They should but nothing can be said for sure. Norwich are bad on defense so Arsenal will find some is what I feel but Arsenal are also not that good in defense right now so feels like Norwich also are gonna score. BTTS should be a good call but would say avoid betting on that match.
Arsenal don't need to win easily. Arsenal, in its current difficult situation, just need to win and break its unsuccessful streak. Mikel Arteta has now stated that the club is ready to achieve results and make the project work. Let's see how he will succeed, because the credit of trust is already on the verge of exhaustion. Just the strength of any good club is not only to win against opponents who are of the same level or higher, but also to constantly win and take their own from opponents who are lower in rank and weaker in composition. This is how you can and should win the title in a smooth round-robin championship system, in which everyone plays a match against everyone and which is much fairer than any other championship draw systems.

With so many stars in the team, Pocchetinno doesn't have much to do. In fact, almost all the managers wouldn't need to do much. Strategy and formations are known to all and with this team, I wonder how you can make it wrong. Of course, Pocchetinno is a very good manager and I can't see anything that can go bad (besides injuries). PSG this season is among the 3 teams that I expect to reach the semi-finals...
Pochettino has a lot to do. Lots of stars and talented players in the team. It is not to be expected that there will be a friendly relationship between all the players. The players will have conflicts, there will be quarrels, the coach will have to solve all these. Moreover, there are many new players in the team. They need to cooperate so that they can adapt quickly to the unique players of the team. If the coach does not fulfill his responsibilities properly, there will be chaos in the team.
It is a big misconception that the head coach has nothing to do in big clubs that have high-class players. The human character is prone to laziness and you have to make some efforts to force yourself to do something at the maximum, and it is one of the tasks of the head coach that the players from the club show their maximum in the right positions on the football field. The current head coach of the club is akin to a psychologist who must build a healthy microclimate in the team, where everyone knows their place and their task and the players must listen to the coach and trust him, taking all his decisions with understanding. Paris Saint-Germain has recruited a super squad and only during the games will we be able to find out whether Pochettino will cope with his task, because before that Pochettino had no such situations in the super club with a whole constellation of super-players.

PSG , real madrid and manchester city are the only club that can afford to pay 28m euros to a 22 years old indeed , im not saying that the other clubs like barcelona , juventus, manchester united or chelsea couldnt pay such amount of money tho, their current balance sheet is just not fit to make a transfer saga.
speaking about salary ... messi currently lay at the top of highest-paid football player list with 50m euro annually before tax , insane.
I agree that Mbappe's potential salary did not come from scratch and is comparable to his current salary at Paris Saint-Germain. Of course, you can call it madness, but these are the realities of the market and Real Madrid simply acts according to the laws of this market, otherwise Mbappe, for all his childhood sympathies for Real Madrid, would have chosen another club if he had been offered significantly less at the royal club. Super clubs should correspond to their status, including in terms of remuneration, but this is dangerous territory when a player does not justify the tasks assigned to him. If a player is able to give a result for the team, then you should not look at his age, because the age of the player is quite short and it is unknown how long it will last, and therefore the desire to earn as much as possible for the rest of the player's life after his career is clear.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 09, 2021, 11:32:10 PM
Yeah, they were not very serious opponents for Roma of course. We will see their performance in the more serious matches also. I would really like to see Roma bringing back their old days. Mourinho can be their biggest chance if things go on smoothly. The Serie A is a really tough league and it is not easy to become the champions. But after seeing Inter's breaking Juventus' dominance in the league, everything is possible. If Roma keep up the good work, this time they can make it.
Still, it is worth admitting that last season there was no confrontation only between Inter and Juventus. In the first part of the championship, Milan looked the best and some Milan fans were already looking forward to the long-awaited championship of the Milan club, but it did not work out and everyone saw the championship of another club from Milan. Just in comparison with their direct competitors, the list of which includes Atalanta, Milan and Juventus, Inter showed the most stable game, achieving the necessary result in matches with all opponents. Whether Roma, led by Mourinho, will be able to show such a thing is a big question, but the club is unlikely to be able to win the Scudetto as well as Interesting.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 08, 2021, 11:59:36 PM
indeed motivation is needed at this time considering the prolonged pandemic still haunts and inevitably for 2 years we are more or less in the effects of a pandemic and lockdown for who knows how long.

but the problem is motivation in what form and by whom? I think positive thinking is good but now everyone is affected and lost.
motivation is very important, but there is something more important than that, which is to end this as soon as possible so it doesn't take too long.

because if this pandemic is too long it will add new problems because the continuous lockdown will also not be good.
With the lockdown, we will indeed avoid the deadly virus but on the other hand we are faced with economic difficulties and hunger is increasingly rampant.
Motivation is never superfluous in any business, and a more motivated person usually achieves greater success. There are difficulties in the life of any person that can interfere with the implementation of plans and goals, and the current period of the COVID19 pandemic adds new problems to the already existing ones. It is one thing to talk about motivation in a normally functioning economy, and it is quite another thing to find motivation when economic activity is temporarily curtailed, people lose their jobs and are forced to comply with travel restrictions. Therefore, despite all the difficulties, we must believe that this difficult period will be passed, try to set not only the immediate tasks of survival, but also try to see the future.

I have a hunch that Chelsea will have a mid-season slump, as Tuchel often did in Borussia. Perhaps the reason, is that the players was are either overworked or injured.
Chelsea will decline or not in the middle of it all depends on the player and coach. Tuchel when in Dortmund is different from Chelsea, the achievements and cooperation of the team is also different. So far, their performance is quite stable in the Priemer League. Of all matches only 1 series. This is all indeed not easy. If consistency can be maintained, the reason overwork and injury will not appear as a reason for their defeat.
The last time Thomas Tuchel coached Dortmund was in 2017 and it's been a long time. Thomas Tuchel is now much more experienced and Chelsea also
have far better quality players than Dortmund. Even the depth of the Chelsea squad is also very good, so if something goes wrong with some of
the main players injured. Tuchel will easily replace injured players with other players, whose qualities are not much different from the main injured
players. I believe Tuchel will be much more successful as a coach than when he coached Dortmund, so what happened when Tuchel was still Dortmund
coach will not be repeated at Chelsea.
Nevertheless, some local conclusions on the work of Tuchel can be made only after the middle of the season, excluding the case of absolutely disastrous results. I also think that with all due respect to Borussia Dortmund, it is still not worth comparing the resources of Chelsea and Borussia. Working at Chelsea, Tuchel will have much more opportunities to build a team. The club has more resources and does not set the task of selling out the best players every season, but on the contrary helps to collect the best players in the squad, taking into account the set tournament tasks. Another question is that the competition in England is still much stronger. Therefore, the support of the club's management will be important for Tuchel, and not just the task of achieving immediate results.

Mourinho is such a special coach that he is named The Special One. I think he is still good, but in recent years his adventures have not been good enough in terms of team achievements. The team that signed him wanted the title, while the players didn't do well and the title wish never materialized. This season I don't think he and his team won't win the title either. Intense competition will make it difficult.
I do not think that Mourinho is "the special one" anymore. I get that he is a good manager but if he was as good as he used to be, he would be managing a team trying to win the UCL, he doesn't have to win it every year, but if he is managing a team that is not even in the europa, then I am afraid to say that he is no longer the manager we all remember.
Yes, he had a great a decade and a half managing big clubs, from early 2000's to late 2010's he was a great manager but after a while something broke and he became someone that lower level teams get to overachieve and he didn't even do that with them. So long story short, Mourinho is not the last hope for Roma, in fact Mourinho can only give what Roma can give, get another manager and you will probably get at least as much from Roma with this roster as well. Dude is a good scout though, I have to accept that, he always finds good players for right positions.
You just shouldn't expect absolutely incredible things from Mourinho's work, similar to what he achieved when working at Porto. Despite the relatively unsuccessful period of work at Tottenham, but still Mourinho managed to lead the club to the final of the League Cup, so some reflections from the "special one" still have a place to be and yet it was not Mourinho who lost that final to Manchester City ;)For sure, the Roma management has certain agreements with Mourinho that interested the coach, because as far as I know, Mourinho was not dismissed from Tottenham in the classical sense of the word and continued to receive wages there, so I was surprised that Jose started working again so quickly.

According to the news I heard, Real Madrid are planning to offer a deal to PSG striker Kylian Mbappe which is €30m per year next summer. As PSG turned down their €220m offer, Real Madrid will be able to sign Mbappe for free at the end of the season. But I'm sure that PSG don't regret it. Because they don't need money. They just want to see Mbappe playing with Messi and Neymar for one more year. And their main goal is to win the Champions League title.
PSG have the dream of winning the Champion League this season, and wants to achieve that aim. Mbappe is a talented player and have been on Real Madrid's top target for a long time now. But, however, PSG wasn't ready to lose him as they still wanted him in their squad. He have so far played 4 matches this season with 3 goals. If Real Madrid eventually sign him next season on a free transfer, with a €30m yearly salary, that would make him the highest paid player in Real Madrid.
There is information that the final decision on the deal for Mbappe, when Real Madrid was already offering about 200 million euros with bonuses, was for the Emir of Qatar himself, who wanted to see a bunch of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe in action. I think that Real Madrid will try to test the ground for a deal this winter, but most likely Mbappe will stay at Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the contract and it is unlikely that the club's management will be able to convince the player to stay. However, if you look at the current transfer window, you can no longer be surprised at any scenario. I also think that a lot will depend on the results of Paris Saint-Germain's game in the group stage of the Champions League and whether the Paris club will be able to get out of the group.

This will be example to all other smaller nations, they could gather as much bitcoin as they can with the money they have, and eventually they will be leveraged against USD. Think about a nation that is very poor but having a better economical potential in the future than USA? Can you imagine El Salvador ever having a better economy then USA? Of course not, but this crypto deal could make it possible or at least close the gap, overall the difference will always be big, but per capital could get better for sure.
El Salvador doesn't have the cost of living USA has, it is cheaper, plus they do not have the same population number neither, combine those two facts together and they need a lot less money to be a rich nation whereas USA would need 100x more money just to pay the bills.
No one in El Salvador is going to bet only on bitcoin and abandon the US dollar, so talking about the use of bitcoin against the US dollar by a small country is not only useless, but also looks a bit like disinformation. Exactly the same things can be said about some segments of the population who, without fully understanding the essence of the issue, protested against bitcoin. Bitcoin and its entire infrastructure, despite its history of appearance, in its current state is completely unsuitable for adoption by any country as the only state currency. However, now, using the example of El Salvador, we will be able to observe some individual aspects and consequences of such a hypothetical adoption and what pitfalls may be present in this case.
