1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 06, 2021, 07:28:33 PM
We always see people post about losses, but I won $550,000 this month betting on sports (soccer mostly), and it has truly changed my life! I mostly bet on total goals and match winner! Would love to know if anybody else has experienced this level of success!  Smiley

When you wager 4.2 million dollars on gambling and end up with 550k win, that is not really that shocking is it? To start off with, you were already rich and now you are still a rich person after winning that much money. I could not gamble 40k even if I wanted to, I wager with 50 bucks per month and never more, which means even if I wager that 50 bucks, win a 10x bet, that is 500 bucks, then if I wager it all and win 10x, that is 5k, and if I do it again and win another 10x that is 50k.

So, I would need 3x in a row 10x wager to end up with even 50k let alone 4+ million dollars. People like OP who show off do not really appeal to me considering I would never have that much money.
1722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 06, 2021, 01:42:09 PM
Assuming you have bought a coin at $10 and the price goes down to $9 but you don't sell.
You could have placed a stop loss at $9 but you take "Never sell at a loss" so seriously that you decide to not put a stop loss.
The price goes down to $8 but you are too good at HODL. Suddenly the market crashes and the price goes down to $5.
You could have limited your losses at $9 but now your portfolio is down by 50%.
Now the price has to go 100% so that you breakeven with no loss no profit whereas you could have bought back at $5 and gained potential profits using a stop loss.
I would assume that if you buy at 10 dollars, and it goes to 9 dollars, then you buy some more and now your average is 9.5, so you could make a profit with very little up, if it goes to 8 then you buy same amount and now you have 8.75 average, if it goes to 7 then you buy again and you have 7.87 average, and if it goes to 6 then you buy more and have 6.93 and by the time it is 5, you buy the equal amount and you get yourself to 5.96 levels.

It means, now you own a lot more, and as soon as it hits 6 you are in profit, and even more profit than you would have otherwise because you invested more as well. If it ever goes to 12, you are now in 2x profit, instead of your 10 going to 12 with just 20% profit. Isn't that better? Never sell for a loss is not a myth, and DCA is the greatest way to use that to your advantage and make money as well. I have done it for years, it has been working great for me.
1723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 06, 2021, 08:15:05 AM
the forum is a good start, you could also download materials online and watch videos from YouTube, those guides would help....
This forum always has lots of hints on what to do and where to start kind of things. Here, you may not get exact guides for you shaping yourself as a trader but you could find links of useful websites/videos which are essential for every trader from the beginning days to continuous learning for enhancing themselves to stay completive even after gaining enough experiences.

spend more time in analyzing and choosing the right coin and setting up a bot. But still you need to watch out your bot activity and change features accordingly.
If you still need to watch your trading bots then why not you go for manual trading. I never recommend anyone to go for bots based trading as my personal experiences with bots were not profitable as per the claims by its devs.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation About Polygon (MATIC) Token for 2022 on: December 05, 2021, 09:20:55 PM
what's your expectations about Polygon (MATIC) Cryptocurrency for 2022?

2/12/2021 - MATIC Price : 2.04$

https://tokenprice.cc/currency/matic-network
Matic will surely have a great year, there is no doubt about that, but we should also not forget that the market will decide how it will do, that is the part people keep forgetting. We keep talking about if Matic is good or not, when in fact it matters very little in this situation.

I would understand if we were talking about a token that was out of top 1000, even top 100, but Matic is high enough that the only direction it will have would be based on what the market is doing. When BNB increased from 40 bucks to 600+ dollars, people said that was amazing, but at the same time bitcoin reached under 4k in march 2020, and reached 64k in April 2021, only tiny bit after 1 year. That should show you that when the whole market goes up, the whole market goes up and doesn't leave much behind. Matic would go up if the market goes up, if the market goes down then it will go down too.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: December 05, 2021, 08:33:37 PM
Howdy, I would like to examine altcoins with you. What coins are you considering buying for 2022? I have a whitelist of 20 coins, and among them, there are both exceptionally popular coins such as Dab, Iota and Cro, as well as rising tokens like Mina, Vega and Check Dab Token. There are great and promising improvements behind all these tokens and I think in 2022 we are going see great development in these coins. What coins do you think are promising?
You do have a really good list of cryptocurrencies for one to invest in the year that is coming. From the list you have provided, the only cryptocurrency that is on my Portfolio is IOTA.It’s a really good project and it has been worth the investment I'm putting into it. Other cryptocurrencies that I’ve been buying, and I’m ready to hold them through 2022 are ADA, binance coin, Polkadot, and Solana.

Maybe I am being quite unfair to the new cryptocurrencies that are still rising in the market, because I don’t even have any of them on My Portfolio. I hardly look into new crypto currencies in the market, because a few of them that I have invested in so far were a disappointment, and didn’t reach up to the level I expected. So I just prefer to go for the top cryptocurrencies that are doing well in the market. These ones I mentioned has been trending in 2021, and I believe they are still going to trend next year.
1726  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 05, 2021, 07:46:21 PM
Stake announced about it in telegram channel as well and full information can be read read here. So there will be 91 winners in the raffle, 1 take $100k and the other $900k will be split between 90 users. I'm not sure with the meaning of split here, but I guess the 90 winners will get $10k each. Earn your ticket now, who knows that 1 ticket can make you take one of the prizes?  Wink
I assumed it would be like first place 100k, second gets 50k, third gets 25k, and slowly diminishes with the latest ones getting few hundred at the very best. That may not be true, maybe you are right, but 90 people getting 10k each doesn't seem like proper way to rank it, like how could you do second getting the same as 90th? That seems like it should not be the way to do it, making it the top first and so forth would make it a lot more fair.

I hope that we would see more of these 1 million dollar stuff, it is definitely very good way to get it more famous and plus stake has been getting more and more famous and getting more betting, so I am sure they are earning more, which means they will be able to afford these type of stuff constantly.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 07:15:35 PM
Omicron situation is getting worse day by day not only BCCI but almost all the cricket board should consider this as a great threat to the health of the players and possibly cancel all the near future tours.
I do not think they will cancel all the upcoming matches but may take a decision of playing behind the closed doors. The Ashes series is going to start from 8th December which must be one of the highly awaited one hence I also will vote for playing by not allowing any audience rather than cancelling it.

To be honest I am going to be blunt and I think that Duckworth Lewis is the shittiest thing that could happen in cricket. This rule needs to be renovated really soon.
There were alternatives have been suggested but not sure when ICC will nod for adapting a new algorithm for setting targets for interrupted matches. In my D/L rules are practical with at least 5 overs left; otherwise you may get impossible targets for balls.
1728  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: December 05, 2021, 06:10:18 PM
Of course I would choose to be rich, but I don't think the world will be black and white like that. Most asset classes move in cycles, just like the crypto market. This means that there will always be new opportunities to invest and get rich. You might be right that right now it's a chance to become super rich, but do we really need to be super rich? Imagine that everybody know yours face, you become very famous because you are super rich. You can't live a normal life anymore, as soon as you go outside you might feel scared that people can rob you. And everybody is going to ask you for money. Money is important but I would rather live a happy life if I can afford everything I need.
The weird situation in that is , if you are asked to be super wealthy or super poor, who would pick to be poor? Let's assume that 1% of the population ended up picking it for some weird psychological reasons, we still have 99% of the world being "super wealthy", how would that even work? Like where do you find nearly 7 billion people worth of wealth? It is technically impossible, even if you give everyone 10 billion dollars, that would just make everyone equally rich and inflation would soar and 10 billion dollars would be like 10k of today.

So, I assume that this question is inherently wrong and could not be answered properly. I would also rather not be poor nor be wealthy neither, too much money is always a trouble, having 50 million dollars is the maximum amount I can handle, I will never reach that, but if I ever do, I will donate the rest for sure.
1729  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a clear sign of high inflation? on: December 05, 2021, 05:14:34 PM
When we think of inflation we usually think of how much food, electricity or gasoline costs.

But there is another aspect as well: how much it costs us to buy financial assets.
As someone who lives in a nation with clear high inflation and not even debatable, I can tell you that even stocks do not go up when things goes to shit. Why? Because the value of money becomes so worthless and people become so poor that people can't even buy stuff from those companies who are in the stock market, which results with those companies losing customers and losing profits and that ends up with losing value in stock market.

So, imagine an inflation so high that, even stock market doesn't go up when money becomes worthless. That is the true inflation, and god forbids any other nation to have something like that and I hope we will never have it again.
1730  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: December 04, 2021, 09:46:17 PM
^^Honestly it is not a surprise that people end up losing on shocking results because that is exactly where sportsbooks make their money from. If favorites that got good odds ended up winning every game then sportsbooks would have lost so much money and odds for favorites would drop like crazy.

Since, underdogs keep winning here and there, and even the eventual champions of every league usually has few losses and draws, that means we get to see people lose money and sportbooks earning it. When there is nothing unexpected, sportbooks lose little little, and then they gain it all back all together when something unexpected like an underdog beating a quality team.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: December 04, 2021, 09:28:02 PM
Everything you said about Binance I totally agree, so I also make Binance my first choice for a place to trade. I've been using Binance for about two years, and I've never had any major issues. I am also very satisfied with Binance's service, so compared to some of the exchanges I've used, I think Binance is the best. Moreover, Binance has the features I need for trading, it looks like the Binance team is doing a good job. It's not surprising
that Binance finally became the best exchange, hopefully in the future Binance can continue to grow even better.
I was lucky because the company I worked for ended up offering Binance services as well, which allowed me to get into binance pretty early on, literally as soon as they started. Which is something I am sort of ashamed at the same time, I could have bought BNB at very cheap prices, and yet I didn't because I wasn't sure how much I trusted it, and to be honest at the time it was only working for providing trading fee discount and nothing else with a burning mechanism.

I still ended up getting it pretty cheap at around 40 bucks, that is not really bad considering how high it got, but I could have gotten it at 10-15 if I was smarter. All in all, I do not imagine any CEX could ever reach to market domination that Binance has right now. I know that Binance will eventually lose some customers to somewhere else, there will be other big names, but I believe that Binance at this point is by far the best any exchange could ever reach.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: December 04, 2021, 08:45:50 PM
I don't understand about the meaning of "safe" and how to define it in a fluctuating market because every price is as unpredictable and full of risk as the drastic price drop on Coinmarketcap yesterday. ETH and BNB coins are the top coins and why would you doubt the safety of investing in them, if emotionally you cannot accept the risk of loss due to market factors then wait for the right moment to buy them.
For me safety usually means that I am not investing into a shitcoin that will scam me. If I can stay away from the next "shibabunnypancakeunitoken" or whatever then I am going to be safe. BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, SOL and many top coins like that are safe for me. It can drop as much as it wants and I will not believe that it is a big deal for me. In the end we are talking about something that is very valuable here, safety is not to joke with and in this case safety means project developers are not lying and actually doing what they said they would.

This is why those big names are at the top, because they do not lie to people and actually work on their projects. Price drops will happen to every single crypto, that is not something they could avoid, however if the drop is caused by a market decline that is fine, if it is caused by project developers lying then it is a safety issue, that is what I am trying to avoid.
1733  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 04, 2021, 07:45:02 PM
What's there to panic and spread FUD about ? It's only the FUN/BTC pair that is getting delisted and they have their reasoning for it.
Binance still has the FUN/USDT pair which is still used by many traders.

The launch of XFUN is really a good thing to know. I hope it will benefit the FUN token holders on freebitco.in.
I would even go as far as say USDT pair is more important than BTC pair. Sure btc is great and all and it is by far the biggest crypto in the world, but the volume was at USDT. Look at the futures market, everyone deals with USDT there too, does that make BTC a bad coin? Of course not and it is totally understandable.

So, this is why FUN/USDT is the most important pair and that one staying would be a lot more important than BTC one, it would have been bad if they delisted the stablecoin version. Launch of XFUN will definitely have some benefit, I am not saying that it will suddenly make it an insanely good project overnight, but it will definitely help it a small bit.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot providers... which one is the best?! on: December 04, 2021, 02:23:32 PM
When I play slots usually I have no idea who the provider is but sometimes I can tell it's from GameArt, PnG, or OneTouch as some of their games provide that similar experience which I tend to enjoy.
These days I am as well not minding about the providers as reputed houses are bringing up only quality provider's slots to better experiences hence when we are at established gambling houses then we can simply play without bothering about the details of providers. Honestly, this save time for me unlike in my initial days I was too selective to play with only few providers like betsoft and microgaming but at that times only few crypto houses were covering such good providers but over the time we got more number of quality providers.

if I missed any, let me know and I will add it!
I checked and all my favorites are already in the list. What you missed but still available in my favorite casinos are not my cup of tea any more.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 04, 2021, 08:53:44 AM
In Australia laws are strict and equal for everyone, they take every single offense serious. I think CA hasn't asked Tim to step down, it's Tim own decision to step down and take some break. I do agree that there is no such law in cricket rule book that is related to player personal life.
When there is an official complaint, there that would not be a personal any more. But, Tim Paine was judged with minor offence hence the punishments were not severe which included not forcing him to rule out of playing cricket or not leading their side. If the punishments were severe then that would definitely include life time ban from playing cricket as well. So, as long as the full process of verdict is not coming out to limelight we cannot conclude anything on why and how.

I guess Tim Paine must need psychological counselling right now hence not playing for his country must be good decision for him and team. The Ashes are going to be played on Australia hence this kind of things will not bother them the most against the home advantage even in a big tournament.
1736  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: December 03, 2021, 09:00:26 PM
Actually, no one knows exactly how far this correction can go. What we have are just speculations since we are only basing mostly from its history, and anything could happen either based on our own speculation or the opposite way. But let’s not make this a barrier that we can’t make profits this time. Of course, we can still take advantage from the current correction by buying bitcoin and solid altcoins in their low prices. This may be risky as it is as the price could still go lower but as long as our intention is to hold them for long, then price corrections do not matter at all.
I would say if it gets extended too much, then I would name it a bear run and not a correction. We had correction already and that should be it, we do not need to call every single drop a correction. Correction happens after a huge increase in price happens, we had that, moved from 30k to 60k and that was the huge increase, after that we had a correction.

However for a while we have been dropping and not recovering, October was the increasing month and November was the correction month, if December keeps being a correction then I do not think that it could be safely assumed a correction anymore. It is obvious that we are talking about a bear run at that point.
1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC rise to 1 million US dollars? on: December 03, 2021, 08:23:40 PM
its good to think that far but I think its little much not possible since we also need to think the pump and dumps happening also we also need to consider the heavy bear market season since it exist so it possibly hit the market in future to, that's why my prediction is $300k since this is much realistic guess. But I do hope all of the prediction given will came true since for sure all of us will earn if that price show in future.
I assume that 300k in 15 years is a very realistic approach but that is "too" realistic if you ask me. It is obvious that we are not going to have something that little in 15 years, I believe that 1+ million dollars is a lot more possible that in that much time. Bitcoin is a long term profit maker and in 15 years we are going to be easily making 20x profit, even less than that required for 1 million dollars. This is why I believe that 300k is only x6 and for something as long as 6x I do not think that it would be that low.

I am not saying that 300k is low, it would be awesome if we reached even 70k right now so I am not diminishing the value of 300k, all I am saying is that it is low compared to 15 years given, otherwise it is still a quite big amount for bitcoin for sure. Hopefully we will see 300k, 500k, 1+ million and much more in the future.
1738  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG for SPORTS🏆|⚽️ PORTO & LAZIO Battle|Stake NFT-Earn BFG🚀 on: December 03, 2021, 07:20:41 PM
right now they don't do any bounty campaign again, moreover about signature campaign.
from what i see on their telegram channel, actually they re very active on the channel and also their telegram group. they are also very active to communicate with the community members.
And they are doing some programs that are still ongoing like the Staking on Biswap and also the new one is about a new program with Solana (SOL) where they provide around $5kfor SOL slot battle.

But yeah it may be not as high as other promotions to make it more and more popular again. But at least, the team always provides progress.
I am waiting for the next exchange which is at least middle to top exchange that will probably help increasing the cap and also rate of the token
You do not need to be paying a lot of money to keep it going forever. I do not want to give example of another casino here, but there is a casino that pays like once every 2 months, and pays very little amount of money, less than half of what others are paying, but they have been doing it for 2+ years right now without ever giving a break. That is what most casinos should focus, we are talking about something that is constant and consistent, as long as you get to do that, then it means you are going to end up with something great.

I do not get why people expect a lot of money or a lot of hype, a small and tiny hype that goes for YEARS is much better than a huge hype but only for one month.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes you come back to an old casino? on: December 03, 2021, 06:09:11 PM
maybe you also come back to check the old one. What are your reasons why you come back and play again to an old casino you once left?
I hardly prefer to play with new casinos until this community post honest reviews. It means I never leave off my favorite places still I do test and experience new casinos but definitely after some recommendations. The reasons I do stick with my favorite places is, trust and reliable services.

If you're not really into a "casino-hopping" type of gambler then there's no reason for you too look for a new and untested ones.
But, I do see most gamblers here are just looking for all-new-gambling-experiences always which must be one of the prime reason why new casinos are able to compete in this crypto gambling industry and able to sustain. Moreover this must be a healthy environment in gambling business perspective.

Whatever is new I am always looking for the best with reputation I know but all of that to me should be transparent to the casino because otherwise a lot of people will not come back again.
Without maintaining reputation there will be no possibility of existence of old casino which means no-one will get back to a scam casinos; when we gamblers start ignoring scam places then they will shutdown their business for sure.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there still original ideas for innovation in Slot games? on: December 03, 2021, 02:46:38 PM
Is there still any real original ideas for Slots? Can someone still develop something new and innovative and how can we (gamblers) give our inputs in the development of what we want in Slots?
Why should gambling houses go for new and innovative ideas for their slot games when just modified graphics itself get them enough revenue? I mean usually gamblers do try a new slot when a new name and new graphics are catching their attentions. Moreover, as per psychological aspects gamblers do get bored of same kind of themes which is the reason houses are going for new graphics rather than getting for new experiences for gamblers. Most gamblers do try a new slot game on their first sight with least bankroll or for one or two rolls which must be more than enough for the houses to generate revenue out of just changing looks of a slot game.

SO, I guess there will be less possibilities for houses to go for innovations with slot games as long as gamblers just do try slots whenever they see a new look.
