1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: February 24, 2022, 06:50:00 PM
I would suggest you to hodl on to the link which you have already bought as it won't be wise to sell at 1/3rd value and moreover link has potential to bounce back and at the moment if you want to go ahead then go for bitcoin investment as it's risky to go for altcoins when market is going through unstability.

Once again don't sell link as I have seen some advises to swell off as it's a potential Altcoin and it will eventually pump.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia cut off from Swift is fantastic opportunity for bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 05:33:24 PM
Sadly that's true I am sad about the war and the sufferings which will be inflicted upon the Ukranians and at the same time yes Russians will switch to bitcoin for transfer of funds which may increase the value of bitcoin, but things could go either ways as there are equal possibilities of western power tightening the noose around bitcoin and other crypto currency as a precautionary measures which will have negative impact on btc and it's too early to come to any conclusion.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost +$ 20k in future, advice for newbies on: February 23, 2022, 09:00:56 PM
I have mixed experience with futures i have lost it all when I was trading with higher leverages like 25x, 50x and 100x but I started recovering the loss when I had a plan in place wherein I will never use more than 3x leverage and only in invested into bitcoin and ETH wherein I will lose my money only if it goes down by over 33% which doesn't happen overnight unlike other coins. I think future is not for other it may ruin lives and make us go bankrupt, it's better to stay away from it or else use very lesser leverages.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 23, 2022, 07:27:50 PM
First of all most of us here are aware that crypto market is highly volatile and things can change really quick and neither bull nor near are permanent, I would have appreciated you if you would have suggested some solution or precautionary measure instead of making a post about something which is nature of market.

I would say we should be cautious with our invetsment and should not experiment with altcoins without proper research and also should use stop loss or OCO functionality without fail for all the trades.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrwal issue with myetherwallet on: February 23, 2022, 05:40:23 PM
Hey folks thank you everyone for helping me out I have figured out what was wrong with the transaction it was actually the gas fee when I used to initiate the transaction I had enough balance to pay the gas fee but the gas we tends to increase at the time of transaction so once I click the send button gas fee just to increase as a result it will leave me with insufficient amount to pay the gas fee thus my transaction will not go through and I'll end up losing the amount which I have committed for the gas free. Now it's sorted i have made the transaction.

1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrwal issue with myetherwallet on: February 19, 2022, 06:40:06 PM
I am trying to withdraw the USDT in myetherwallet but everytime when I send transaction to my Binance USDT ERC 20 address then only the ETH gas fee gets deducted and USDT is not transferred. Any idea what's going wrong ?

The most likely thing in this case is that the gas fee is not enough to execute the transaction, so the transaction fails on the network.

Maybe you can attach a transaction hash as well, so peoples here can check it right away, but as I said, the most likely thing from this failure is that the gas fee is not enough to execute the transaction.

You can see the latest gas fees on the ethereum network on this page: https://etherscan.io/gastracker

Thanks for trying to help me out, actually while I was making transaction i had enough ETH to cover gas fee but when I check transaction it shows 0 USDT transferred. I have attached the hash details for your reference.

1729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: February 17, 2022, 09:05:13 PM
It's a very complicated situation as it can go either ways, if we consider last two bounce back we thought bitcoin will surely cross $50k but it failed and now it's fluctuating between $40k to $45k and I think there are possibilities of bitcoin going below $40k incase if it doesn't cross $50k mark by March or first week of March because it's been a while bitcoin has been struggling to reach $50k and if it doesn't do it this month as well then we might see a correction phas once again after the rise from $32k to $47k, price correction phase will only delay the process of bitcoin reaching $50k but incase if bitcoin crosses $50k still it has to stay above $50k for a while it should be a pump and dump.

As long as bitcoin stays above $40k we are safe and we can expect bitcoin to cross $50k.
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to know Bitcoin has reset? on: February 17, 2022, 06:50:25 PM
Please correct me if i have misunderstood you post, are you trying to say how to know when the Bitcoin goes through correction phase and ready for rise or the moment just before it starts pumping up after a dump or bear market? If that's what you are trying to know then no one in this forum can predict it accurately but whenever there is a dump and bitcoin starts recovering then you can consider that as the entry zone but need to learn about bull trap because sometimes you will find momentum but it will be short lived and your money will be struck.

If you meant something else with the term reset then please let elaborate
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be accepted for tax payments in Colorado on: February 17, 2022, 05:19:50 PM
Finally some good stuff after a dull phase and decisions taken against Bitcoin in countries like India, this is a good sign but at the same time I don't think it's a wise decision to covert the Bitcoin into fiat at the same moment, because there are more chances of achieving more profit if they hodl in or set a rules like coverting the collected bitcoin (tax) it every financial year or when market is good.

But I doubt this will happen or not as it's more likely to be stalled because regulators and financial institutions will try their best to stop bitcoin from becoming mainstream because of this happens then bitcoin will become unstoppable and even those who don't use Bitcoin will start using it as it will give legitimacy to bitcoin as something which is considered by the government.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your take on whatsapp token? on: February 17, 2022, 02:54:36 PM
There is nothing called what's app token at all and why would Mark get himself into trouble by getting into regulator's radar and I think even if he does it would be a centralized token but it will surely go bonkers due to strong back up as they have working product which we use in our day to day life and it would be worth investing, other techo giants will follow the same footstep if what's app launches the crypto token.

Now let's comes back to the OP,  I think OP has come across some scam token named what's app token as there is no official announcement about the same and j cannot find any link or website or details in CMC and Coingecko about it.

1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest withdrawal fee for ETH? on: February 17, 2022, 09:57:39 AM
I would like to thank everyone who has shared their suggestions but we all have agreed that nothing much can be done unless I have ETH in MEW as I cannot bypass the withdrawal charge from CEX as buying ETH and sending it to MEW is the only way to withdraw the fund i have in MEW. I have decided to wait for a while to see if the gas fee comes down and I have decided to transfer $50 (excluding withdrawal fee) worth of ETH to MEW as this could be utilizes for future transactions.

I would request you all to have a minimum of atleast $50 worth ETH in MEW for gas fee purpose as it's really expensive if you have to keep transferring it from CEX by bits and pieces.
1734  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 17, 2022, 06:41:38 AM
There is a large possibility of bitcoin reaching the $50k mark but the real question is how long will it stay above $50k? Will bitcoin find stability at $50k or above ? Else will it just touch $50k and drop down again in the range of $40k - $45k? I don't solely go by expert's opinion anymore because most of the times it doesn't work so we may consider their opinion along with our research and market conditions to come to a conclusion on it but yeah $50k is easily achievable but we want bitcoin to stay above $50k and make it new stable zone in order for bitcoin to rally towards next target.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the objective of bitcoin redirected? on: February 16, 2022, 09:38:39 PM
The presence of bitcoin has given freedom for every community to finance their finances without any interference from the government because by using bitcoin of course we can do whatever we want such as making transactions between users, making it an investment asset and can also be used as an alternative payment even though currently many governments who refuses to accept bitcoin as legal tender in their country.

That's the basic idea behind the creation of bitcoin but what the OP is trying to stress over here is whether we are using Bitcoin for the same purpose for which it was created or its used as an investment purpose like we buy stock when the price dips and sells when it's at peak and somewhere due to emergence of too many Altcoins the original purpose of bitcoin has been lost and now crypto market has become competitive and noone use it for peer to peer transactions.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: February 16, 2022, 06:41:05 PM
These financial organizations and bankers who had been patronizing our finance will always stand against the crypto currency and especially Bitcoin, they are no saint but focus of flaws or gaps which we have in crypto to capitalise of the same and somehow try to ban crypto trading and if they fail in banning crypto trading they will try to ban the mining claiming environmental factor when they themselve loan out the industries which damages the environment.

Bitcoin cannot be controlled by bankers but at the same time it cannot replace any national currency or become global currency.
1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need more more to invest on crypto. on: February 16, 2022, 04:41:14 PM
Firstly I would recommend you to have the money as it will not take bitcoin to drop down to $35k or even further and to bounce back. It's never a wise decision to wait for the right moment (I mean dump) without any capital, hence save some funds and never invest an amount in crypto without which you cannot sustain in your life as there are chances that either you will get good profit in first day or week itself or else it might take months or even years to recover the capital you have invested. It's better to save seperately for this purpose and then you may invest into bitcoin and it doesn't necessarily has to be below $35k as you are considering this figur based on current market price which is almost 25-30% less than curent market price and the same could be a much higher figure or lesser by the time you arrange the amount and then wait for the right moment instead of blindly buying at peak like some users does.
1738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coin you like trading future on: February 15, 2022, 09:36:39 PM
I would choose bitcoin for future trading and always use lesser leverage like 5x or 10x because we usually see a fluctuations of almost 1-3% in bitcoin and rarely we see the sudden drop of over 10%, so we can atleast be sure that our funds will not be liquidated as easily as it happens with altcoins. Altcoin indeed gives an opportunity to earn quick profit but that comes with a huge risk of losing it all.
1739  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Prediction for March!! on: February 15, 2022, 07:00:19 PM
I think the value of bitcoin depends on how it trends for next one or two weeks because it has been fluctuating between $40k to $45k for a while now and if bitcoin sustains to stay above $45k by this weekend then we may expect it to go over $50k by this month end. Again I am neither predicting nor assuring of anything as it's purely based on my market analysis, all of a sudden we have some experts saying bitcoin will go down and these were the same experts who used to say it would cross $100k just before it's decline hence we cannot trust experts as well.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals on: February 15, 2022, 03:36:13 PM
With this scenario, scammers are now extra careful when cashing out their stolen crypto but what I want is they will be all caught with their own mistakes. That's right, we don't need to know about how the police caught them or what strategies they used. because it's crucial tools for their next target and they might fail to track the others. This is how it should be when they publish it, they need to emphasize their criminal act and not to put the blame on bitcoin.
Exactly but they still can use crypto for their nefarious purposes, if you look at bitcoin, it's still a pseudonymous cryptocurrency so the criminals still has a leeway for them to use. Pretty sure that we don't have any clue about how the police work even if they reveal a snippet of their procedure, the people who track down this criminals aren't dumb so we can be assured that they're going to only improve.

Criminals will always find one or the other way to continue their activities and we cannot deny the fact it can be used by criminals and others involved in money laundering which cannot be stopped unless crypto is centralized which will make it no different than a bank or stock market. We should be more focussed on the merits of bitcoin and crypto in general because criminals were operating even before the evolution of crypto and will be active even if crypto disappears one day. We have to live with it as too many restrictions or checks will kill the essence of decentralisation.
