1721  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-17] Colleges Are Learning to Handle Donations in Bitcoin on: October 17, 2018, 12:17:26 PM

I guess adoption will eventually come little by little.

Its easy to send cryptocurrency to donate for a cause than a donor who has to go to a bank counter to make transaction. But how there has to be a platform for which we'll see whether the donation actually goes to the intended project. For example if I donate BTC to the people in Indonesia affected by tsunami I expect to see blockchain transaction going to a blockchain related Medical Tokens used to buy medicines. This will let us know that the money send were indeed used for where it should be used.

1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether USD, BIG SCAM OR JUST A FUD. on: October 17, 2018, 09:32:31 AM

USDT helps you being a trader not to lose the amount of money you got while you keep the usdt ready to buy whichever coin you think will be pumped. It helps your trading strategy. Whether you think of it being scam or not, USDT will stay just as the newer GUSD and the TUSD are going to be doing in the market. There are 3 of them now.
1723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market manipulation on: October 17, 2018, 09:24:47 AM

when money is involve there is always manipulation, its coordinated and institutions with huge funds who are aiming to control the market are behind it but of course they are also in a constant battle after all its about manipulating to their own advantage. Obviously those who got massive amount of BTC due to last year's pump won big. They may try once again but they'd have to wait for another entrants to play around in the new market.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: The world that all money have become crypto currencies issued by government on: October 16, 2018, 07:56:04 AM
Stable coins had been created already even the Gemini brothers have a stable coin. If governments are going to creating their own, it wouldn't be a crypto. They do have it already you can check it on Forex market. IIf you have noticed it already Forex brokers are also into cryptocurrencies these days, they now offer BTC, ETH adn XRP on their platform.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain is a never ending process? on: October 16, 2018, 07:46:55 AM

so long as there are miners the process will never end. When all the btc are mined, its not going to stop since the transactions of BTC needs miners for it to be confirmed, the miners will gain through these transactions. Same goes to other algo of any other tokens. Somehow in the future the chains will interconnect to each other as it may happen eventually all these transactions will not end so long as people are using crypto.
1726  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Carnomic - SCAM ICO - FAKE TEAM on: October 15, 2018, 04:39:04 AM

ICO business must be very profitable. I see employers in upwork hiring a lot of writers for rewriting whitepapers. I should know because I have tried applying to those employers.  Alarming because they are first asking my bitcointalk account before they proceed to asking regular question as an employer.  These must be the guys who hire someone in the job site for their scam but this one obviously didn't hire a good writer to proof read and edit plagiarism.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative coin that will recover before year end? on: October 15, 2018, 04:19:39 AM

The unclear regulations is making all these coins drop in price. Until isn't not settled, I think the price may still drop to its knees. I would believe this is the way the government of controlling the crypto. Making its users believe to be regulated and after wards its them that will destroy it. Now that i almost crippled, they can have all the tokens by themselves and once again they can have the chance to control.  Crypto users are looking up when the regulations, SEC and ETF be decided but left holding bunch of tokens which prices continues to decline. So no the coin's prices are not going to bounce up even next year.
1728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: October 15, 2018, 04:10:00 AM

I don't stomach all those dip, I just work harder to forget about it and move one. If the price rise later on in 2 to 5 years, I may be able to get my money back and more if not then I guess I'd just take it. ETh has definitely lost my faith, $80k is seriously a big loss for me. Too late because I moved my tokens to a private wallet and not in the exchange it it was in the exchange I would have dumped it easily. Luckily I got my back up plan still and am working on projects right now, I'd just forget the investment and will have to move on.
1729  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop? on: October 14, 2018, 01:14:22 PM

For some reason I was very optimistic about the prices since last year so I bought back BTC at $12k, yes I think that was a bad decision I never sold again and was just moving them to my personal wallet in my PC. That was it. Now it stays there still. I feel very stupid about it but hey what can I do I trust BTc so much. Sooner which I guess the bullrun can happen maybe after 2 years, ?I may have to really think the very worse that could happen.
1730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your experiences with Cryptopia (exchange)? on: October 14, 2018, 12:02:39 PM

I experience both, I dislike the interface probably just the color combination but the night mode I think works fine. What I like about cryptopia is that they are airdropping coins including LTC and ETC on your wallets. I remember I was surprise I have 2 LTC in my wallet. Funny because I got out of LTC while the price is $360 but I still have left in cryptopia. The exchange so far I good, they don't asks for KYC too.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Problems with DEXs are being solved by Bancor on: October 13, 2018, 08:00:06 AM
Third party is a good start I can say I like bancor.
I don't know if its possible but if the DEX really want to solve issues, they strive hard to add tether. It will definitely attract more registration to them than on centralized exchanges. Until there is no stable coin on their listing their ain't much reason for users to register to them unless there are tokens that isn't yet listed on binance.
1732  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Listing at Binance for free? Yup! on: October 13, 2018, 06:41:58 AM

Yes. Traders will just keep buying it knowing an exchange like binance add it. Personally I don't know what RVN token is but its price may suddenly surge up later.  Did the team just get so lucky or they did some kind of agreement behind this?  If binance do this randomly, they'd better check each coin, there are also good coins to add that just need an opportunity to be noticed by big investors in the market.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hundreds of ICOs Being Secretly Investigated by SEC, Claims Report on: October 12, 2018, 03:34:02 AM

Things change radically, the adoption we have been trying to achieve has to go into these procedure first before it can be achieved. Is this the reason for the new dip of BTC since yesterday? If I just knew I would have dumped everything and forget crypto for a year before investing again. The worse case is that, the price will stay this way for probably at least 2 years. Glad I didn't quit my day job.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance delist on: October 10, 2018, 12:38:49 PM
ICN use to be one of the best and was investing to it since last 2016. The team just mess things up that up to now they still can't find a way to make the coin useful in their platform. I'm not updated to what is going on to ICN but that's as far as I know since the last time I dump all mine. I didn't wait for the pump last year but I just left out of frustration.  But yes. If a coin doesn't have a volume, it deserves to be delisted. I find it hard to believe that bytecoin doesn't have volume.
1735  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Bitcointalk: decentralization, English language and hypocresy . on: October 09, 2018, 09:12:42 AM

The internet as a whole is decentralized which the forum is part of it. Don't make it so hard. Use google translate after all even those who translate ICO ANN thread uses it. English isn't also my native tongue, I find it hard to understand sometimes but I take time to read, find the meaning of a word and then read again. You adapt, its not them who will adapt for a local section.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico on: October 09, 2018, 07:52:20 AM
Seem that you want to run a new blockchain project and you're building your team, looking for partner. I suggest you visit Project Development and Marketplace. You will get best people in multi industries there, code, design, marketing, etc.

By how OP sounds these section in the forum is what he should check. You have to have a solid project which solves problems if not you'd only fail, there are different projects already in the market today. My suggestion is to find which project is closely related to your idea and contact the team because by that you can collaborate and will not have to do an ICO.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future? on: October 09, 2018, 07:46:59 AM
I don't think shitcoins are the problem, if you are new to crypto and will keep watching which coin is useful and valuable, you shall stick to it and will not even mind the coming new ones. The problem we see today is going to be the problem face up to 5 years, adoption. Cashless society is hard to achieve when its not enforce. Doing incentive hasn't worked yet but China is already enforcing it and I think they're the ones going to be an example. The elderly however is going to be left behind in this progress.
1738  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Democracy is dead. on: October 08, 2018, 10:14:28 AM

But the real question is what are the alternatives then?

I do believe that there are too many people in this world, to begin with. But, as far as I've been able to observe, small communities are needed. I think that humanity needs to develop a network of small communities with self-government, based on merits. Platon also spoke about a type of Aristocracy based on philosophy, in where the ruler should be a philosopher. The way he/she should reach the power was based on merits, and on a strong educational system preparing greedless rulers.

Well, in an over-populated community, this is impossible to achieve, of course, for, how are you going to develop a trust-system between millions of persons? Of course not. But in small communities, it can absolutely be done. But, again, in an overpopulated world, that's kind of utopic. I do see a dystopian future, though, based on a punctuation system, a meritocracy, but in where, probably, ignorance and appearance will be voted, instead of intelligence and greedless. Maybe you just asked a pessimist woman.

IT was Socrates who oppose democracy and then end up punished by death.  What Socrates propose was that in order for you to have the right to vote you should be trained first and become a philosopher before you can cast a vote which means that vote has a substance and that it was wisely done. Not like allowing anyone to cast vote to someone who wants to be an official.

Thats what I understood.

1739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading from a mobile application on Android. on: October 08, 2018, 10:07:21 AM
Hello community. I recently started trading with Android on Binance, everything works simple and clear. Does anyone trade with Android on other exchanges? what exactly? share your experiences. Thank you.
Does Binance have an Android app for trading? I’ve never seen that before, the only places trade with apps is in binary trading, like Qoption. To be sincere, I even checked the Google playstore now and I didn’t see any Binance app, unless maybe it is not available for those in my location or what well, whatever, I’m always okay trading with my laptop, trading with app won’t add or subtract anything. So that’s their business, although I’m not happy about that.

Yes there is. I did my trading there. Have rearranged my favorite pairs whcih you can access  and from there is quite fast though clicking the 100% when buying and selling is not easy its still doable. I'm fond of watching TV while trading so, its convenient for me. Sitting on the couch and pork rinds Smiley  The only reason why I don't like it is if I'm losing the trade.
1740  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Meet Brand New LindaX Platform! on: October 08, 2018, 09:58:29 AM

This should belong to the Announcements (Altcoins) Try moving it there https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

That's where you audience are they know how to navigate the forum to check where new projects are first announced for the upcoming ICO. Why is there a tier 1, 2 and 3 when you can have a single price for all. It doesn't sound very fair IMO.
