1723  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 Bitcoin Suisse AG note -- non-denominated on: December 29, 2017, 12:38:22 PM
Was thinking the same. But I’d have spent the BTC on who knows what whereas this would have retained BTC value in the form of an asset.
I’m with you on this Mitchell, but then again I’d say the same thing about Cas coins.
Don't get me started on those darn Casascius coins. I still don't have any loaded ones, because I rather have ten unique coins instead of one. Sad

Been there done that and got the t-shirt. Would not recommend  Cheesy

i remember how you never bought any funded coins  Roll Eyes

You were like - NO , on every polls of funded coins

Imagine some poor sod putting a lot of BTC into Alitin coins and the like. I’d prefer to be the one to buy the unloaded coins although I think the overall winner is the one who bought rolls of Cas coins. I saw a reddit post where some guy had close to 50+ 25BTC coins alone. Just think of all the BCH on there! I’d have peeled them all, redeemed the BCH and then used that to buy up other unpeeled 25’s and a ton of Cas singles

50+ 25's  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Would have been so tempting to not peel lol

I just want to own one , someday perhaps  Cheesy

Oops. Just finished digging and found the post.
I make that 35 of the 25’s and about 140 singles.
Here’s the pic for all you casaddicts: https://m.imgur.com/r/Bitcoin/PU5RjCG

i have no words for it man

can you also post the link to this ?
1724  Economy / Digital goods / Re: i have a bitcoin wallet.dat with more than 45 Btc in it but without password on: December 29, 2017, 09:59:21 AM
i have the file wallet.dat but no clu for the password
I bought this from a friend bitcoin but I cannot guess the password

ah!

buy a pc and put it up on forced password checker
Let it run for ages

45 btc is decent to just let go

I doubt anyone will buy the file even for 0.05
No way to get the coins out AFAIK

Guys, the code by back of hologram is are PrivateKey right? That is will able to import blockchain.info right?

when you peel the hologram, you see some code, YES THAT IS THE PRIVKEY (DO NOT SHARE IT)
and yes you can import on blockchain.info as well
but you will need other wallets for forks
1727  Economy / Goods / Re: Buy Teak Trees with Bitcoin and Save the Planet on: December 29, 2017, 09:09:38 AM
Hi,

Sorry if I was not clear on my post....I'm new in this community!

We are protecting our land from illegal hunting so we have many expenses like everybody!
Actually we provide salary and food for 3 family!

Any help is appreciated so we decided to sell these trees!

If you buy one or more trees you are helping our Company to sustain local community, you are producing clear CO2, and when we will cut the tree you will receive the income generated from the wood.

Please note that one tree cost 40 usd and after 20 year you will earn 504 usd

This is 1160% in 20 years (sorry but before I wrote 1.160%)

It is 100% secure because Teak trees are real!

i don't understand

do you mean, buy a sampling and plant it and wait for 20 years for it to grow properly so that we can get the returns?

Also, what are the chances for the investor to get the money?
And you never know that the prices of teak tree wood might fall.

And if am not wrong, these would help you sustain(not animals directly) and so that you can look out for those animals?

If I had known that they would fetch this much, I would have bought more than one back in the day. Roll Eyes

still would have been better to buy btc back then instead of this

1733  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Pre-ban physicals on: December 29, 2017, 04:18:34 AM
BTCC can also be considered. They weren’t US based but also stopped producing physicals amid increasing regulations.

I don't think there were BTCC coins back then
they came this last 2 years

I wish you all the best with this auction. I'm pretty sure that nobody would be stupid enough to give a random newbie their ID.

Thanks for the tip, and to minerjones for the escrow suggestion. I didn't think asking for ID was stupid, I'm just trying not to fall prey to scammers. Meeting in person would be ideal.

That is not at all bad but do understand that no one will ever share their id over internet and if they are using Escrow

Minerjones has escrowed so many deals that this cas is nothing Smiley

Just use escrow and let the buyer pay you after Escrow gets the coin
but shipping 1 btc cas at this time when prices are so high and almost everyone knows of it, i very risky- especially shipping it to another continent.
