1721  Other / Meta / Re: Why the forum keep deleting my old posts? on: January 17, 2023, 02:53:07 PM
If you are receiving PMs about the deleted posts then someone is reporting your posts and mod agree with it. Result is they are deleting the reported posts. If you are not receiving any PM but checking your posts are deleted then it's the topics you left responses. When a topic gets deleted it deletes your responses too but the difference is you do not receive any notification. Someone is reporting the topics here too.

I think this is the page you look for the deleted posts/topics.

Hi, this top banner link in thread doesn't work, I get this error —" OFFER_NOT_ACTIVEOFFER_NOT_ACTIVE". It's not big deal, just may give bad impression.

It works fine for me even I am on TOR. May be your internet connection is slow.

Also, do you have any promo code we can use while registering?
When I was registering yesterday, I saw an input field to give promo code, so it exists. May be you need to look for a promo code to redeem. One thing I like about the site is, they do not require your email address. The username given to you is the important piece of information for you. Nice job.

Firstly, you are a cunt. Stealing money from your most ardent early customers is a dog move but I think you know that.
TMAN could give better invitation.

What a shitshow...  Cry
We learn from cradle to the grave. Every day is a new day. Good thing is, for some it was costing only 0.00625 BTC. Not an expensive mistake individually.

I don't know, but I feel gambling on your own casino will never be as intriguing as gambling on a casino you have no control over...

For example, I myself would never enjoy gambling anymore if it happens that I build my own casino and start doing my gamblings there, this is because whether I win or lose money means nothing any more, if for example and gambling on my casino and lost money., I lost the money to myself, which means the lost money is still in my purse, meanwhile, if I win money, I possibly can not pay myself because the money am going to pay myself with is still mine,..
How is it possible that casino owners would even enjoy gambling on their own casino..
You have no idea how a gambling website functions. There are sports providers who provides sports data and controls the bets placed on your site. There are game providers who do the same. They control game data and the bets placed on the games.

As an owner you will lose GGR but since others are gambling and losing on your site, you are always in money to recover your personal lose. When you are gambling with other casinos, you are same as the other customers, but in your own site you are both a customer and host.

4) Hidden in url tag: Hodl!
This one. Is this really worth a topic?

I think the question you should be asking yourself is, would this topic have been made if libert19 was not in a signature campaign?

Meh, if you check my sign campaign rules, that topic doesn't count.

@LoyceV I was creating this topic, was looking for grimace emoji, that wasn't there so felt like asking about it.
What is going on your head? This topic was first, then you have another one, then another one!

Eh! No payment upfront to test the site? 😉
If you doubt that your review will be paid, just ignore this thread.  Wink
Ignored LOL

I don't want to bring back my old gambling addiction 😉
1727  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Fryx Finance - An open-source Monero/Bitcoin exchange. on: January 17, 2023, 01:10:02 PM
BitcoinGirl.Club review

I tested both Buy Monero and Sell Monero. The operations were as expected. It took me a whole day to setup the Monero wallet though and then testing the service.

The first impression of the site was very boring. I will discuss about design too on the section. If I was not paid for using the service then may be I skipped the site because of the first look. There are many other currency exchange sites, the design can be improved by taking inspiration from them. For any theme my first preference is Themeforest. You will have enough themes to chose from or to take inspiration.

There are no need of separate menu or pages for buy and sell. The home page will have a section for both buy and sell, fee explaining, FAQ and everything else can be in one page. API can have a separate page or even it can be on the same home page. Only a login/register menu could be in the menu section which will bring a light-box and after submitting the date it will bring the users on the same home page with the information needed for logged in users. You are missing Term and Privacy page. For a business it's the only thing that protect your ass.

The site is not friendly at all. I have no idea how much is my conversion rate. There should be a ticker which will update the conversion rate I am expecting and lock the rate for x amount of time. 5 minutes or 10 minutes. When I am using the input form for the amount of Monero to buy or sell, another label should show me how much I am receiving as the desire currency including the fees that will be taken off. The whole thing should be without submitting date in the server, instant on the client side. Once I am happy then I am supposed to give my receiving address and refunding address. Right now without knowing anything I need to do whole lot of works to find my addresses and then check the next page without knowing if I will be happy with your exchange rate.

Operation wise I felt everything was okay. It did not trigger any error for me. I am not very good at numbers especially when it's working with decimals. When I bought the Monero I did not check how much I am receiving, just sent the amount that I was given to test the system. But when I was selling the received Monero I was able to take a screenshot of the update page (attached below). And the btc amount was showing on the update page was not the same as the btc I received. It was a bit less. The testing was using very small amount but for large amounts I don't know how big the difference can be. Again a converter before doing the conversion will help the users to understand what they give and what they receive.

Overall, operationally the site is working like any other conversion sites, but the entire experience can be improved with more user friendly features. Here is a rating for different criteria I was able to divide. It's in out of 5 scale.
First impression: 2/5
Design: 1/5
User friendliness: 1/5
Operation: 5/5

P.S: One very important step I was missing is to have a tracking code or number or reference to use to restore the session in case I close my current browser while I am waiting for the desire coin to arrive.
1728  Other / Meta / Re: Why is grimace emoji not available as topic message icon? on: January 17, 2023, 11:45:08 AM
Not a big deal, I'm just wondering.
I don't depend on the emojis forum has by default. You will find more than enough on emojipedia.

Every post of this guy is always complaining about the casino. What I think about him is he has a serious issue with his gambling habits and blame the casino once he lost, if this is really the case which is serious thing to happen for a person maybe its best for him to take a break away from gambling since this is not healthy anymore so best stat away from stress to avoid much further complication about this.
I think we don't need to care too much about his actions because when he gets attention he will feel happy with it

LEVSKI7 always complains about many gambling sites but never includes evidence such as a screenshot of the problem he is facing, which means he has never played at the gambling site at all, he is only making trouble with his imagination
If my memory is working fine then I saw the user in scam accusations board many times with complains against sports book. No one is taking any accusation seriously unless there are substantial evidences attached. You and us in the forum understand it but for a casino who just launched may panic which is what I can see from Jackbit's response to LEVSK17.
1733  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Address reuse is simpler than alternatives and not always bad - discussion on: January 16, 2023, 10:52:52 AM
I think that there are some advantages of resuing an address:
  • no need to advertise new address each time to receive transfer,
just to name a few.
I realized it lately and decided to use only one address in public which is one of the address I am using recently in review campaigns. It helps me to break connection with the private addresses I have although I am a regular user of mixer. Nothing is going to my private wallet without touching a mixer and nothing is coming out from my private wallet without touching the mixer again.

less risk of mistake on sender side,
A sender will always are at the risk to input a wrong address unless they are maintaining an address book or such things. They could be a victim of copy paste clipboard malwares and easily send the payments to a scammer.

Quote
less steep learning curve (e.g. for IBAN users)
You basically need more learning than just using a random address from your wallet. It requires coin management.

Quote
fewer keys to protect
A HD wallet can have as many address as you want. You only need to protect the seed phrase.

crooks. Grin I made a bet on the shampoo of Switzerland.the bet won but after it finished they voided the win.I ask in the chat why
 1 late bet
I call it, the bet is 2 days before the event  Grin
2 arbitrage betting
  3 is doubtful
4 is how the system decided
I started the chat in several groups and people burst out laughing  Cheesy

Your post history clears everything but just in case we don't want anyone to check your post history, could you please post a screenshot of the bet with the bet ID or such unique things? Jackbit will confirm if there was such bet-slip exists. In extreme case anyone from us with having good reputation can log in to your account and check if Jackbit was cheating on us.

Is it fair?
1735  Economy / Lending / Re: 200 for 250 & till the end of January. on: January 16, 2023, 10:29:23 AM
Some may know some may don't, but im gonna be open again, i was released from prison after 6 years and 3 months served time for mining crypto, more specifically btc. My motherland is Bulgaria, there mining is not illegal, nor legal, but yes, they did charged me for money laundering and tax fraud, draining all i had accumulated from mining and trading. Destroying my farm and all, and here i am. This is the time where having some cash is crucial for me. Openly said I turned from rich to rag. But it is what it is. If someone is in position to lend me any amount will technically help me get on my feet at this part of the month. If not, it is what it is. Thank in advance and i do understand if no one reach his hand, i know trust issues best.

Ps.
200 is the max i need, but every penny count.
Forgot to ask is there still a way to buy crypto or something i can turn into fiat paying with my monthly phone bill in Europe? Ifz double edged sword, but this is my life for now, and im trying to adjust it while holding my self from not completely losing my self.
Let's assume your story is true and you get a loan. Imagine how many others will create fake story and ask for loan. Eventually this board will become a spammers and scammers paradise.

Sorry we can not let this place to be a spammers paradise.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I turned over $1.344M with Sportsbet.com - https://imgur.com/a/gFB14gl on: January 16, 2023, 10:25:12 AM
Maybe I'll create my own platform and offer maximum RTP to players and steal all their customers and bankrupt them instead Smiley

Thanks.

Will update you on my journey.
Many established betting company's owner have long history of gambling. I know few of them and all were high spenders but at some time when they were pissed with the similar behavior of the casinos they decided to have their own. Casino business is very profitable if you can do it right. You need a good amount in the bankroll to pay one or two big guy who may accidentally hit a life changing amount. It does not happen regularly though.

When you have your own platform then you turn into a bookie yourself. Gamble as much as you can on your own platform while you are making money from your clients.
1737  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 16, 2023, 09:38:16 AM
I know three users by real names. Unfortunately, they are inactive now and have disappeared from the forum. How about you?
Over 10 is really a very low number 😉
I know a handful number of users in the forum by their real name (if that's their real name that they said), very few trusted me with their living address. But I don't think none of it matters. End of the everything we know we all like to stay away from personal touch. Keeping it anonymous from each others.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 16, 2023, 09:07:35 AM
Anyway, stories like the one present on this thread show us how gambling addiction can become a serious problem involving a lot of people besides the addicted gambler himself. Sometimes the person is blind by his addiction that he will do anything and everything to continue wagering. In this case the person stole funds, and in some more extreme situations the person can even kill!
I saw many people to sell their car, house, divorced their wife even abandoned their children and many bad ending of gamblers. I grew up in a place where young starts were addicted to weed, scamming, hijacking, killing each others, ending up jail. I knew exactly where I was going but it was no easy to control yourself unless family and people close to you support you. I was lucky.

Gambling is supposed to be a fun, an element of entertaining. But because there are money to lose and people don't like to lose money that they earned hard way, they starts chasing the lose. The chase never ends but at some stage they find that they lost everything. Some people thinks it's an way to make easy money. But it's not at all. A gambler always lose and the house wins always.

This is the reason why I will never invest in buying those Casascius coins... you just don't know if the creator of those coins has access to the Private key. They usually tell you that it is done electronically and that they have some kind of method that hides the Private key from the creator, but I think it is all bullshit.  Roll Eyes
I never looked at how the whole collectible coins work. But it could be done better than loading the address by the creator.
1739  Economy / Collectibles / Re: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Halving Sets!! on: January 16, 2023, 08:52:06 AM
He also borrowed money from me, and still owes me $1500 (+ interest). I had no idea he borrowed money from so many different people.
Sorry to hear that...I wonder how many more are out there! You should ask Loyce as he might have the answer to this.
Sorry, I have no data on loans. Common practice to avoid taking multiple loans is leaving neutral feedback until it's paid back, but in yogg's case, there's nothing.

To me it makes no sense to post a positive trust feedback saying you had a great experience buying a product, then posting a second, negative trust feedback that says you were robbed by the same person.
By leaving the positive feedback, it shows a timeline of events. Some people have removed their positive feedback already, yogg dropped from +33 to +24.

Quote
@LoyceV can you recall if yogg and or cygan ever posted in the numerous vanity wallet generation threads at all?
I don't recall, and can't easily check that.
Why there is no type two and type three flag yet? I suggest anyone who was involved in the direct trade to create a flag type 3. Currently it is showing the yellow warning and created by someone who is not directly effected by the scam. Yogg needs a bright red warning flag on his profile and every topics he created in trading sections.

A scam accusation topic is also needed. I am sure there are many users who do not visit the section don't know about it yet. If fact, I would miss it if I did not see a link in a gambling discussion topic.
