If I forget the URL of that website, is there an easy way to search the internet to find it?
Use Bing to get to google . . .
this actually works . . .
If you already know the name "Google" there is no need to search for it on Bing.  I was thinking of something more like this:

Interesting that eHow.com and nycourts.gov information on searching for content within a web page both come up ranked higher on Bing than Google's web search.

You said that you forgot the URL, not the website name Cheesy
If you don't know it's name, you still can try "seach engines" or "world domination in the cloud computing"

Use Bing to get to google.
It's like using IE to download Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Opera

1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shouldn't we start using safer keys from now instead of waiting for problems? on: January 16, 2013, 04:56:53 PM
Successful technology companies do not waste their time solving problems that they THINK they MIGHT have in 20 years.

I got it, you are talking about Facebook.

It's a problem that will arise sooner or later. It's sure.

Fixing it now is better than fixing it later.

Go f*ck yourself now is better than go f*ck yourself later.
There are many other things that we must thing before, don't you think?

Just get on IRC and help the developers instead of distributing potentially unsafe binaries via unofficial ways...

"That's not an opinion, that's a fact." -Me

A not so sure fact?

I'm sure of that fact Smiley Do you trust a 3rd party generated/compiled/whatever binary downloaded via an URL shortener service and not via the official site (electrum.org)?

The question here isn't if I trust or not the download, but the fact that based on nothing you are saying that you don't know if his download can be trusted, and is claiming to be a fact.

Ok, you don't seem to get the message and that's fine, I'll spell it out for you.

Consider this a fact: Do not ever, in your life, trust unsigned binaries, provided via an URL shortener service by a 3rd party when there are official binaries available from the official page of the project (especially when dealing with a currency like Bitcoin)... Granted, the official binaries do not contain all features (the portable aspect) of this binary (yet), but the author could have chosen to work with the developers. He choose not to...

Btw, where is the full source of your binary?

I'm not dumb, I know those things, I'm just saying that you can't simply say that only because that this binany isn't the official linked on a tinyurl that this means a scam or a way to steal coins.

He provided it on the 2º post(3rd counting with the OP)

1732  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ripple e as exchanges centralizadas on: January 15, 2013, 10:15:10 AM

Be aware: buy none GPU today for mining.
ASICs are meant to be shipped in ~2 months, so in 2 months your investment would be a waste.
