1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 23, 2022, 11:35:09 AM

No.

Cash and fiat will be useless after a society-ending war. The only things that will have value will be the things that keep you alive:
  • Food
  • Fresh water
  • Medicine
  • Shelter
  • Bullets and other weapons

If you can't eat it, drink it, or use it to protect yourself from weather, disease, and hostile people or animals, then it's pretty useless.

First of all I hope the world don't have to experience any nuclear war.
Now assuming there is a nuclear war, and this things you mentioned are in high demand, definitely not every war affected areas will have these life saving things, so in other for those who are in shortage of then to have access they may have to buy it or exchange for something else, hence fiat will be quite useful in this scenario.
For you to have weapons, food, medicines, clean water and other important stuff to sustain lives through that difficult period, you will have to either buy them or get them somehow and am pretty sure you will need fiat.

For sure the internet connection will be much affected and most provably all bitcoin users on affected area will start cashing out their hidden assets since they will prepare for something worse to come. But eventhough that case happens still I believe bitcoin will still survive since its just there it will never fade. Maybe for a while majority of people will focus to buy first the basic needs but once all get back to normal people will go back to what things they left then comeback to their investments and other personal matters.

There are no sure things in gambling as it is all about luck. If someone is very unlucky then they won't hit a big payout even after playing for so long. Anyway congratulations to the above player.

When deciding to send money to our account then we are ready to take all risks including win/lose  Grin
It's just that sometimes we can't control ourselves especially when chasing tournaments or promotions

Forget about chasing profits especially upon participating on contest since most of the people are playing just to have fun since experience playing on contest is different compare on regular playing so much better if you just enjoy the game since you can relax yourself and get away from stress cause by unfortunate things which you can't afford to lose.

Just send what you can afford to lose and play at your comfort for sure your play time is worthful.
1723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's up with ranking on: October 22, 2022, 12:55:44 PM
Hello 👋

I can see that some people have a high rank and some are lower, is it advisable to take advice from high rank members more serious than jr member and full members?

Nope, rank doesn't mean anything because not everyone are active on this forum. There are low ranking members which is more knowledgeable than them so maybe try to focus on what content of the people and you can easily find out if they are really good and not. Anyways maybe catch multiple information and don't focus on single advices since its more helpful if you have many basis towards what actions you want to do on your cryptocurrency hunting career.
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 22, 2022, 10:26:30 AM
Why ? Just why ?

Its the same with your wallet provider who ask KYC  so get used to it and its not stupid since its part of the system especially if there's money involve. Instead looking at negative side on it much better if you adopt the good side since it will just save us from several incidents which we need to prove our ownership of the account especially if there's something strange or bad happens to our account. If your worried about government tracking users then don't look at it as a problem if you are law abiding citizen but if you do illegal act then you start to worry with that.
1725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bad advice can still be gotten from forum. on: October 21, 2022, 11:16:42 PM
The forum has a disclaimer and everyone is responsible for whatever they post and taking information as reliable is at your own risk, but that doesn't stop the moderators from doing their part, they have the right to remove any information that does not align with the forum policy, especially if it is misleading and does not convey the proper information to the users.
Personally, I believe that it is always beneficial to seek knowledge from other sources; the forum cannot provide you with all you want, such as technical aspects of bitcoin and altcoins, you cannot study a single textbook for your thesis and research, you must consult other sources.
Multiple sources of information are better rather than one. Considering that this forum is open to everyone's opinion, we are also aware that not all we read here are good enough to rely on. This is a big community already and not all are handled by the moderators, so we gonna expect misinformations are still around and can possibly inject into the mind of the readers if they don't know how to analyze it.

This one indicates that eventhough the high ranking member even how they veteran they are or the trust score they got they can still make mistake upon giving advice. We should also work to find another information so that we can justify things we ask or verify. And luckily this forum is open to everyone and we can read others opinion which we can make a basis to try on.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 21, 2022, 11:25:30 AM
I’m influenced by my favorite celebrities to a point. For example, I’m a big fan of Shaquille O’Neal so when I saw him launch an NFT charity project, I wanted to buy in to support him. I didn’t care about the performance of the NFT or if I made money, but you could say I was influenced to buy it because of his celebrity status. Does this mean I would invest in ShaqCoin or use a gambling platform just because Shaq promoted it? Probably not, but it would likely get me to check it out.
In short, we all could be influenced by our favorite celebrities in whatever they endorsed, advertised, or what they even do on a daily basis. However, it will be our own decision and critical thinking if we will do, copy or even buy what they are promoting. Just as you've said, If Shaq has made his own token such as "shaqcoin" or is gambling on a certain gambling platform, then it will be our own decision if we will be investing or gambling on the same platform, but we have already been influenced by them to check those out.

Actually its undeniable that there influence can really convince us to try what they are doing but for sure in short time span we will realize that they are just enjoying what they are doing while us trying to get some money base on their suggestion. But still it will all matter to us on how far we can take what they are promoting since for sure if we been realistic here we cannot copy what they do and for sure it will be different scenario to us then we may struggle while playing.
1727  Economy / Services / Re: [Search] Dice contest ideas - $100 in Bitcoins! on: October 21, 2022, 03:24:04 AM
Dice points race you set what number of target points to be hit by a player to be declared as a winner.

Ex. You set 100 if certain player roll then it reach 100 base on numbers(not the number of rolls but points base on the roll) he wins, but if he exceed to 101 he's point back to zero. Then try again to reach 100.

Or

You set what number to be hit.

Ex. For this round players need to hit 6 for 6 times if they got that they will be declared as a winner.

There just trying to share my wild ideas out of nowhere, also don't know if this one also exist everywhere so credits goes to them if they own this.  Grin

1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 20, 2022, 09:54:12 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

Chill out and try to get your attention on other things which is away from gambling, from this we can avoid to get stress from the losses we encounter.

But to avoid stressful losses which we cannot afford to happen. Well maybe much better if we have separate already the small amounts of funds we can afford yo lose because from this we can get over easily on the losses we experience.
1729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too risky to leave BTC right now on: October 20, 2022, 10:00:46 AM
It's way too risky to be out of bitcoin right now because people are calling for 10,000$ per Bitcoin before they will start buying,  it sounds like when people are calling for 100,000$ per BTC months ago and the opposite happened, now people are calling for 10k again, the opposite might happen again, the best way to deal with this is start buying BTC every week, maybe on Mondays? This way you will feel better.....remember, when people are calling for the exact same thing the opposite always happens.

Do not sit back and do nothing
You may be right and at the same time, you may be wrong, even though people are calling for a $10,000 price that does not translate into an uptrend price. The opposite doesn't always happen in most cases but again in some cases, it may happen.
But when it comes to Bitcoin price speculation we should always try to bring in some data analysis before arriving at any conclusions, but all I see with this kind of statement, are just predictions and nothing else.

That's how fud and FOMO works so if the same with OP also with other newbies always keep listening to the call of people about the possible outcome they might enter a phase where they are not sure on what they are trying to do. Much better if they learn a skills on trading's at acquire little knowledge about technical and fundamentals since if they can track the market then somehow get something which can make their a basis maybe from that they will know how to plan their next action base on what market condition.
1730  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Hacked?! What we can do better to protect our funds? on: October 20, 2022, 08:25:03 AM
This is a hack that happened on the BSC network and it is not related to the Binance exchange, it can be said that the blockchain field is in the development stage so being hacked is not a strange thing and it is not new. As long as they fix it in time and keep growing, we will get better and better.

Although Binance did not experience any losses, storing all assets on a centralized exchange is like holding money in a bank so it is very risky. Whether you are an investor or a day trader, whether you own a lot of crypto assets or a few crypto assets, you should take care of your own property rather than having someone else keep it for you. When entering the crypto world, you must at least have yourself a hardware wallet and that will be your own bank.

People need to understand that its separate but if they are worried about putting their money on exchange like binance since somehow anything might happen to them since hacking issues exist and they might encounter this issue again is to save up their balances and withdraw frequently once they are done or even withdraw the profits always so that we will not get hurt for huge hacking issue if that one happen to them.
1731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - 50K USDT prize pool: Road to Riches 💰 on: October 19, 2022, 09:54:02 PM
What’s the best slot games can you recommend? I’m participating on Road to Riches: Stage 3 but I don’t have much knowledge on what’s the best slot to play since I’m not a regular player of slot games and I spend most of my gambling time on live games. There’s only 4 days left on this tournament so I want to play on slots to get double points and easily climb the leaderboard. My target is to reach atleast 100pts before the tournament is over.

I’m thinking to play Bitcasino Billion game since other user has a good feedback on it. I’m planning to have a couple of alternative slot games as change of environment when I’m already too soaked in the game.

Bitcoin Casino Billion is good one its been on header in bitcasino so most provably many people are in good playing this slot also good to go with featured ones like mystery museum or you can try the new added games like  Grand heist since this is also cool. I tried this one just for fun mode but will add this as my other alternative slot to try soon.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 19, 2022, 11:07:24 AM
Exciting fight considering we haven't seen Manny in the ring ages now and the cause was really nice. I just hope that it will be a good fight but was skeptical on what DK Yoo will bring inside the ring because the last unprofessional fight he did was not that flashy. I think he'll just be a main dish to Manny if we will expect a good fight from the People's Champ.

I'm not that well verse on this kind of fight but sometimes like this exhibition match is scripted on who will gonna win. But regardless of that conspiracy theory, It will be shameful for Manny if he will lose this kind of match since he have a good professional record and other Boxer on his caliber that done this like Mayweather keeps winning on this match.

I'm not aware on this match and I just recently watch the viral video of Pacman that being guest on Korean variety show. This maybe the reason why he is on Korea doing guesting. Haha

Its big shame for Pacman to lose this but I expect that this fight will be in favor with him since somehow I'm thinking that this fight will be scripted and they will hail Pacquaio as a winner since he is legendary already. But let see maybe my perception is wrong and they can show great fight even if this is only a exhibition match.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created on: October 19, 2022, 09:00:25 AM

If today, The real Satoshi Nakamoto would appear ... i would presume that the world media would cover him and give him more or equal  importance than attacking of twin tower by Osama Bin Laden

Did you see Vitalik? Did the world give importance of his presence? Maybe we can say yes to the crypto users because he is well known creator of second top crypto in the world but the world media(the mainstream) didn't cover him and been not crazy about what he do.

For sure if Satoshi will appear he will be highlighted on medias but for sure this are for short term only.

If we talk about if crypto is not created for sure everything will be in normal and still we can see a digitalization in different form. We already see some banks operate online transactions and banking so for sure this one will dominate if bitcoin is not been created.
1734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason Why People(Mostly Newbies) Fall Victim To Scams Easily. on: October 18, 2022, 11:19:00 AM
Many people know bitcoin as a digital currency that has value if invested.  They don't know about volatility of bitcoin,  how is happens if it gives anyone awareness before it happens. The problem most people have They feel lazy to learn what they have interest about.  They only want to learn in hard time, when things are not going well for them.

Some people have full interest but they fall on the wrong person, they think those people they meet online are professional and they could learn something with them together earnings good amount it turn out bad since they got scam by them. This scenario always happen that's why on early stage of our participation on cryptocurrency aside learning something on the alts itself. We also need to know the intentions of people because from this we can avoid those scammers and can filter legitimate people who can help us grow and work with more projects.
1735  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG on LATOKEN|🚀Stake & Earn $BFG on BabySwap on: October 18, 2022, 09:45:01 AM
but not all Exchange Some good exchanges still list many normal projects for money on their exchanges but only exchanges like Binance, kucoin ,FTX , coinbase etc still adhere to their strict rules and regulations. So these exchangers are always able to keep them top position on the Exchanger list on coinmarketcap
That is mainly regarding the bear market. During the bull market there are so many projects that does very well that they are either listed for free just because exchanges want to take advantage of the high volume, or they are just listed with a bit of regulations and rules and that's it, because it means money to list them.

During the bear market there isn't any money to be made from this, so the better exchange you are, the more money you can charge to list a token, and that will result with you making money even with just listing, and could say stuff like "if the volume drops under 10k dollars, we will delist you" and not pay the listing price back.
That is the reason . here BFG token recently listed on LAToken and Baby swap but you can see on the coinmarketcap LATOKEN have $82.76 trading volume for BFG and Babyswap have $770 only. If their training volume is like this then what is the benefit of listing BFG token on this new exchange? like LATOKEN & Babyswap ? And seeing such situation which good exchange would be interested in listing gambling token ?

The development team knows and doesn't really expect the volume in this new exchange because this exchange reputation is not so popular
But as a team, it needs an update to display that they are still working and continuing to work or at least Latoken and Babyswap users know about BFG
That is another advantage of this collaboration and publication I mean including the marketing strategy.
When a token is listed on a new exchange, everyone is hopeful of something good, but if the value of the token decreases further after listing on that exchange, it looks really bad.  And everyone's confidence in that token is decreasing day by day . If the token does not increase in value after listing on an exchange, then what is the benefit of listing on that exchange? And why a project team will do it?
I think it is very sad if the price of a token is dumping after it is listed on an exchange. The project team always has to work hard to maintain the price of the token. Then maybe the price of the token  Can hold. I don't have much idea about this. But I think the team will have to work hard to keep the price of the token.

Aside thinking about new listing they should do more efforts to create huge market to their tokens and they achieve that by consistent marketing their product like the casino plus add more utility or benefits to the token holders. Provably from that they can influence people to believe and buy BFG token.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swap? on: October 16, 2022, 12:04:00 PM
I think one reason only, they hold a token swap, just to make the tokens held by airdrop participants and hunters worthless, this happens a lot nowadays,
instead of switching to sc in fact they really want to get rid of the airdrop token itself,

Mostly the reason why devs go in this option is they want to hype back their token again. They want to make people believe that there's something good to happen on their token and token swap is part of development happening on their project then the price would pump after that. They want to try to increase their volume by this way and this nothing to do with those airdrop participants.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 16, 2022, 09:28:23 AM
$15 billion seems like a lot but Facebook/Meta has a huge source of income to burn. It was from the social media ads on Facebook for publishers. Cause of that, they are willing to push their Metaverse bullcrap, sinking more money into it without any split second to doubt think.
What, do you expect them to stop after investing $15 billion? We'll see more of Metaverse one way or another from Facebook.

They can cover up all those loses since Facebook still the top social media platform which generate then a billions of dollars. And that amount is I think they can afford to lose since this is part of their investment which if they succeed then they are the first who can do it then it will surely give them a thousand folds return of profits.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 08:48:31 PM
If you are playing gambling for example slots and you double money with just a couple of bets on very early part of your game. Will you stop already or continue playing to earn more?

I’ve been on this situation many times before and I keep playing until I get the entertainment that I want and to have more profit. But the result is always ended up losing everything because it’s very easy to increase bet if you knew that your money that you use is a profit.  Cheesy

Depends on the mood since sometimes I continue since I'm not yet satisfy on the result nor enjoy yet the game, although there are times the table turns and I lost but still this is fine since I enjoy myself playing.

Also stop when I think its to much and I don't want to get hook to spend more extended time playing so I always make sure to have balance on this to avoid huge damage if I'm not lucky today.
1739  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Latest Rule is 1 merit per week for signature campaign by yahoo62278 on: October 15, 2022, 12:42:32 PM
Every manager can decide what rule he want to implement and if you think that his created rule didn't is to much then you can free to skip what campaign he manage. Also if you think you are better forum member than any other else maybe just make this rule created by yahoo as a challenge so that you perform more better.

This could lead to merit exchange in some cases but maybe try to look at the bright side since it could push the participants to put more effort on their post.
1740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC? on: October 15, 2022, 11:31:40 AM
Many thought that this is scam before that's why other skeptical people are now thinking that they waste their precious opportunity to buy bitcoin before. But since it pump so big for sure those people realize that bitcoin is truly worth it. But even though we see how big the price of bitcoin at the moment no one can predict even those who claim they are expert on this they cannot tell any accurate price on bitcoin at any time. Maybe for now try to learn doing some price analysis since this is the only one which can help you if you want to trade bitcoin.
