1721  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: February 14, 2020, 01:31:25 AM
This is hard.

I think it is better if you will just be focussing on good cryptocurrencies you can invest in. If you want to really diversify your portfolio, you can download an app that can show you each price changes in what you put in your portfolio. Though you can check all those prices, you might miss the good changes where you can do your trades.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for Dice on: February 14, 2020, 12:57:11 AM
I did not bet my money in dice, to be honest.

What I do is go to gambling sites that have faucets, there I will be getting some free satoshis and use that to try different strategies especially Martingale. I know it is a waste of time but it will show you how these strategies work and how much you could earn and could lose.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DOTA 2] ESL One Los Angeles 2020 MAJOR [GAMBLING DISCUSSION] on: February 13, 2020, 01:48:40 PM
I know this is something that you've heard of but I really love the line up of OG.

I am not saying this because they are the first team that won back to back but because I see something in their line up. Midone offlane, Sumail carry and Saksa support. If you will be thinking of it, two of these players are used to a solo lane. If they can lanes on themselves, they can focus on the kind of game OG is used to, and that is being aggressive. If you see their games for the LA qualifiers, they are still that aggressive team but more aggressive now since they can focus on their lanes.

I think also that Saksa really fits this team but what I am observing is that Topson is getting more aggressive and it is not right. Maybe they are just enjoying the game since it is just the qualifier.
1724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: February 13, 2020, 07:49:41 AM
this involved our hard to earn money and just like that we will lose it?not unless that said traders can spend millions of dollars because he can afford so?then why not but for people like me who is looking for investment to earn?no way that will have this mind thing.

Believe me or not but there are a lot of them.

An investor is not always that experienced or knowledgeable, they also have their time where they create mistakes and not think of these things. They think that just by putting your money into Bitcoin, it will create a profit for them in time. They thought that just by putting their money into an investment, it will just provide them a good profit, they do not think of the risk they are taking nor how to minimize that risk.
1725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 13, 2020, 06:58:46 AM
I agree with you that once the damage is done it's much harder to reduce it That's why I also try to avoid risk in the workplace For this reason I control my emotions and base my education in various places and then trade. Many times it is not possible to reduce a single loss.

Controlling your emotions is not enough.

You should also control the money you are investing in a certain cryptocurrency. Emotion is not always a problem in trading. With this kind of market that is so volatile, you don't know what may happen so it will really start with what you know and how you can manage your balance in this fast phase market.
1726  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: February 13, 2020, 06:12:23 AM
When majority of people will buy bitcoin and they will not sell their coins then the price of it will continuously increase and will reach to a higher value and a stage will come when bitcoin will reach to a good stability but the fluctuation will still be there in the price of bitcoin.

That will affect the price but not always positively.

At the start of that phase, the price will increase, since there are a lot of holders of Bitcoin. The liquidity will now be the problem since Bitcoin will became illiquid meaning hard to be sold or turned into cash or other cryptocurrencies and that will or can change the projectile of the price chart.
1727  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 13, 2020, 03:12:53 AM
I think I agree that this is not a good idea.

Let's say that some country has its own cryptocurrency and if another country maybe a group of people wants to take that country down, they would just try to manipulate the cryptocurrencies they have. Just imagine the power of the whales when that happens.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 13, 2020, 02:16:25 AM
In my case, stop when I am losing.

In short, I can just stop since I don't have money to gamble with. When I decide to gamble, I just bring money that I can lose. I don't want to bring a lot of money since even though I can stop, there are those times where you get so desperate to win. When that happens, that is fine since I already avoided bring big amount of money with me.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 12, 2020, 10:53:59 AM
I think your mindset is really needed here.

If you are an addict and you've been wasting your money into gambling for a long time, better set your priorities straight. You will not be rich with gambling, even professional gamblers lose their money in gambling. You know that you are risking your money in gambling, I can ensure you that it is not investing but just risking your money into it. Even if you want to fix yourself, it will all start with you.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 12, 2020, 06:29:32 AM
There is no direct connection to the fight but this deal brings both fighters much closer. Making it easy to form a negotiation about the said fight.

I agree.

This is really something and despite Connor focussing on his UFC fight, I would really wait for this to happen. As these two getting closer, we do not know but the fight is becoming more possible to happen. As you said, the negotiation will be easier to handle. Team Manny has their different plans, Team Connor has his plans too still, I don't think they would be letting this fight hang there. This will not be the end of this, this is just the start.
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA NEED PRAYERS AND NOT BITCOIN on: February 12, 2020, 05:33:51 AM
So what can people like us help?

Just pray? I am not saying it will not help but let's be honest, a lot of people prayed for something and most of them did not get what they wanted. Bitcoin is a help in that situation in a way, would prayers help stop the outbreak? Will it create an antidote that will cure the virus, no, it is the doctors that will create that. I am not a hater of praying, it is just that it is obvious that a lot of people are already praying for China and as someone that wants to help but can't really help in a way would just give something that they can give or something that can help people.

It is not just a prayer, as we all say here in the Philippines, "Nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa", in english, "God gives mercy to those who help themselves". It will not always be effective if you will not be pushing yourself so that it could be the result, you should do something for that to happen and it is always not just the big things, it is the small things. I can help by praying, but I would not stop at that since I want to help and Bitcoin is the way that I can help China with even in a small way.
1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Dominance Going Down? on: February 12, 2020, 05:07:38 AM
It went down, yes, but there are still a lot of people out there supporting it.

Despite this loss of Bitcoin's dominance for consecutive days, the price of it is still moving not disappointing its investors and users. It fell down, yes but as long as people are keeping on investing in it, keep on using it, I don't think that should be a problem. It is still the most expensive cryptocurrency in the market, and as long as it stays there, investors will keep on coming back.
1733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 12, 2020, 04:13:59 AM
As a beginner, that is important.

It is better for someone to walk you through it but always remember that you should not be so dependent on those people. It is not that I am saying they are a scam, but in the long term, you should be able to do invest and trade on your own. You said that you are reading articles, maybe books, keep on reading them since you will not always need their help, you have yourself.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving on: February 12, 2020, 02:50:04 AM
Instead of selling them, you could just hold them.

As BTC halving happens, altcoin's prices are getting better so keep on holding it rather than selling them. Some say that it might be having an altcoins price increase so probably some might have a price pump.
1735  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold vs. U.S. dollar on: February 11, 2020, 03:59:15 AM
I think it will not happen.

We mine gold, it is a natural resource that means it is limited. hat means the price of Gold can still increase. In terms of dollars, the Federal Reserve bank is responsible for controlling the money supply in the country. As the price of the US dollar increases, it is because of what is happening but that can't be that fast to change, unlike Gold.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: February 09, 2020, 12:54:34 PM
I think the govt is giving the digital currency an opportunity to enhance the country you've got rightly said that this is often not a threat but it's a positive idea for our country. If the govt doesn't receive any tax or subsidy from crypto if the govt creates digital currency then something will attend its fund and therefore the illegal currency will stop being a digital currency. this may improve our system and increase the demand for crypto.

It is a good opportunity but it is a way to end the decentralization of cryptocurrencies.

The reason why a lot of people are using it is because of its decentralization. The government will not be able to snoop with every transaction that we do but if they create one, they would be able to maybe make a way to tax cryptocurrencies and leave us to the path that started when Bitcoin is made, the freedom.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 09, 2020, 12:30:12 PM
That's not gonna be a surprise, they are expected to be out rebounded by any team. The Rockets are way too underestimating the league's center position. That huge win against the Lakers is because they are shooting good, plus Vogel didn't maximize the opportunity to dominate them on the paint letting McGee sit a lot of time and played just 15 mins. While Howard had only 4 mins.

I guess the absence of Westbrook is the reason.

Their last game, Westbrook slammed a score of 41 points with 17-28 field goals. I guess Westbrook is really on fire at that game the reason they won. The game is shifting into long-range scorers and I think that is the reason why they are underestimating the position of the center. This might be a risk or maybe just a foolish mistake.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 09, 2020, 11:33:14 AM
If you will be thinking that Bitcoin will give you the profit you want, better not hope in it.

Bitcoin and almost all of the cryptocurrencies in the market are so volatile that they make investing in them very risky. So if you are asking if it is safe, no, it is not stable either so if you can't handle the quick changes that are happening, better find a good stock where you can place your money. Maybe buy some TSLA or other stocks there. You can't predict what may happen with the volatility of it, you never know where will it take you. So if you will be asking me, it seems that you are not aware of where you will be putting your savings. If you really want to invest in cryptocurrencies, read a lot of books, it will really help you. Gaining knowledge before the war would really help you.
1739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 09, 2020, 09:40:46 AM
This is a problem of the past, as far as I know, the high transaction fee and the slow transaction time took together a problem in the past too.

Right now, I am used to this so I don't have a choice but to either convert some of the cryptocurrencies into other cryptos or hold that crypto for a little bit at that exchange. And as said by others, it is usually for those people that do arbitrage trading since I did that too in the past where I see an opportunity, sell it and then take it out of that site and might go back after a week when the price is good.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: February 09, 2020, 08:18:30 AM
I really hope that this will never happen, because this will be a huge amount of chaos, it is clear that the vast majority of such cryptocurrencies will not have any value at all and will only clutter various forums, observers and much more with its presence.

We have thousands of cryptocurrencies now.

Some of them died and some of them lived. Just like the  survival of the fittest, the strongest one will love while the weak ones will die and be pulled like a weed. As vast numbers of cryptocurrencies are being made, the value of each one will be decreased, that is the same with other known or popular ones.
