Specific CN algo, you can mine it with SRB 1.8
thank you for your answer, this project looks interesting, I will consider to switch for this coin for day or few days on some of my miners Wink
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 14, 2019, 10:13:49 PM
still looking for a decent ethereum wallet?

There is only one. Infura is the only wallet service provider because nobody else is willing to host 2TB full blockchain node. Ethereum is iEthereum now (the "i" comes from Infura). Infura is hosted on AWS. If Amazon decides to shutdown Infura this is the end of Ethereum. And all of you are waiting the price will go up? What for?

How do you know most Ethereum Full nodes is installed on Infura ??
Could you give us any confirmation of your statements? Thanks

At least we are informed on quite a regular basis what they are doing now (or what they are saying they are doing if you prefer such story version Wink )
1724  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: March 12, 2019, 10:40:00 AM
I am not too optimistic person, (and as it is to expensive for me to take legal action so I consider my money lost rather Sad )  but I have one optimistic thought - they are delaying reopen cause they are trying to recover as much funds as possible..

If that's the case they should allow the withdrawal of all unaffected coins from the hack since there's no point in keeping them hostage.

Recently 16.8M MSP has been returned by the hacker and if they are waiting for the recovery of all hack coins it will take years or forever
not quite.. if people will be allowed to withdraw now many people will withdraw and cryptopia lose many of deposited funds... but if they will manage to recover  most of funds  maybe more people will stay.. but I a ma afraid this is only my optimistic or better to say naive perspective :|

I found this project today and I enter its webpage and it says:
 Network Hashrate: 5.0 MH/sec
I would like to ask what is algorithm of this coin cause I consider to mine it.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 11, 2019, 08:14:49 PM
In last bull run Ethereum was alone platform of this kind and now competition is becoming broader with more and more candidates. Some of these platforms are even more advanced than Ethereum. This doesn't mean I undermine ETH but want to show another aspect of the image for next bull run. I do think market will be divided among these Dapps platforms and all will perform well.
but what platform could be really useful such as Ethereum?  Only Etherum is proved that it may work - however not without problems (network congestion :|)
And I think if bull market will come back it will be simultaneous with more increased interest in blockchain technologies so I don't think wider competition will hurt ethereum

1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 10, 2019, 01:10:20 PM
Ethereum will be the future unlike bitcoin which dont have a roadmap only lightning network which is offchain vitalik is trying to do something onchain even when it has raiden sooner we will see casper and sharding and ethereum shall be #1 i hope

This is the totally wrong when you compare ETH with BTC it doesn't make any sense because BTC is still ahead of all project in term of development and transparency and it has no competitor while on other side ETH have to face so many in coming days so it won't happen in future.

Another Ethereum argument: ETH has the most developers working on its base protocol of all cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is by far the most active at 99 monthly developers on average. Bitcoin has a healthy developer base as well, averaging over 50 developers per month.

Ethereum Has More Than Twice as Many Core Devs per Month as Bitcoin, Report Says - https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-has-more-than-twice-as-many-core-devs-per-month-as-bitcoin-report
very interesting and important information, thanks, good to know about it!
i am just a 'noob' in crypto , and beginning to learn more about it ;
i just wonder, when 'common people' (like me) can pay with 'fins' in a shop , bakery, pub,  etc..... ?  Undecided

It is easy.
1. Convert all your "fins" in bitcoins.
2. Sell your bitcoins to me.
3. You now have fiat currency and can pay in a shop, bakery, pub etc.

nope, i would like it much easier ..... to pay 'fins' 'straight' to a shop, bakery, pub etc.  Tongue
I am afraid never.. there is no such option that rulers will allow common people to become independent and opensource crypto couldn't be controlled enough
So I don't think it would be easy to use "fins" instead of fiat money..
But there is some shops accepting cryptocurencies over the world.

he rather had a problem with login into his account - his post wasn't related to the hack but only to problems with 2fa email working...

I don't think cancel all by admins would be best option cause someone may not want to have his orders cancelled but it is a little worrying indeed..
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: March 07, 2019, 11:21:51 PM
I like the Telegram platform, but I will not rush into buying their tokens. I think there will be a big rush on the exchanges and it will be difficult to determine a fair price.
The fair price is the price for which you can now buy coins. I think that after entering  exchange, the price of a coin will go up, and many will have profit.
what tokens are you talking about? Original Telegram tokens are not available for retail buyer now according to my knowledge

Welcome to Lesson 4 of “how to…”. In this lesson we will show you how to remove scanners from Workspaces or from Scanner Manager.

Below you can find quick “Video manual” in which we show how to remove scanners that you have already created:

More: https://algory.io/cryptoscanner-manual-lesson-4-removing-scanners/

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq9tuuNhhcg

This is really a great effort on the part of the team to educate the people on how to use the platform and I guess the community really appreciates it.
Yes, very good steps they do.
BTW I  tried cryptoscanner and it works very smooth
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: March 07, 2019, 06:54:13 PM
Traders are waiting for reliable ICOs but telegram management doesn't want to reveal any news about upcoming ICO.

TON ICO ended 1 years ago. In march 2019 will be start TON testnet
Coming soon

nice timing Cheesy
There was a post saying Telegram is a centralized platform and I can say that it is a true.
And I wonder if implementing a ton token could help with better moderation  Huh (fighting spam and not freedom of speech)
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] DeepOnion ONION Private Digital Currency DeepVault App Released ✅ on: March 05, 2019, 02:05:43 PM
Good news those using it be aware of Cryptopia Exchange Is Back Online
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/
yes. Community members in telegram reporting that ONION balances if fine:)

But All markets seems paused
Better look at their twitter; they said:
Quote
Update: The read-only site is now live. The holding balance from the 14th Jan is pre hack and we will be using these holdings as a baseline for calculating rebates moving forwards.
So it is not 100% sure if DeepOnion wasn't affected by the hack unfortunatelly Sad It should be clear in a week I hope
1735  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: March 05, 2019, 02:00:59 PM
So Cryptopia is back up read only but when you try sign in it brings you to two factor authentication and i am not yet to get an email from Cryptopia with the code so can not login anyone else have this problem?

Also the balances are apparently pre hack so how do i know if my coins were untouched.
I saw in main cryptopia thread such post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.msg50025317#msg50025317
in the middle of this post you can find this part:
Quote
Lost & Found

ETH gone
GNT, REP still there  Shocked

My shitcoin bags still there!!
BTC, LTC, usdt, doge still there!!!!
but I don't quite understand how to understand it  Huh
1736  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: March 05, 2019, 01:57:32 PM
So site luckily reopen, but read-only mode and even not-affected by the hack coins withdrawals are disabled?
Another few days (I hope not more!) of nerves is required ;-]

Welcome to Lesson 3 of “how to…”. In this lesson we will show you how to add predefined cryptoscanner from our Library.

We have prepared some pre-defined scanners that you can use from the scanners’ library.

1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] DeepOnion ONION Private Digital Currency DeepVault App Released ✅ on: March 04, 2019, 04:46:52 PM
I started seeing more people who knew about DEEPONION recently ... 2 friends already asked me about it.
It is important and interesting if this friends have to deal with cryptocurrencies before at all or deep onion was their first contact with cryptocurencies?
BTW I just read about deepvault  and it is  in my opinion a very interesting initiative
1739  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: March 04, 2019, 04:30:58 PM
This one too

https://twitter.com/Cryptopia_NZ/status/1100596382254084096

Now... where did all those FUD/Exit scam spammers go... Want to share you opinions now?

Good news, but I will not believe it until I see it live and I won't be able to transfer my coins and won't see it on my personal local wallet.
I hope it won't be postponed again and again now...
