1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎮[ANN]Decentrahub Coin [DCNTR] - DECENTRALIZED HUB FOR GAMERS Powered by POS/MN on: August 14, 2020, 11:11:27 PM
No one is interested on this project? Gaming and sportsbetting industries are actually a flourishing businesses nowadays. Even with this pandemic, they are the ones which are not badly affected by this crisis, except for sportsbetting because of the cancelled matches. However, since sports are slowly going back, we will find sportsbetting active again. And it is nice to see that you are already listed in several exchanges even without holding any crowdsourcing here. So I am assuming you have the funds to push thru this project even without the help of any crowdsourcing? Do you have private investors that are backing this project?
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: August 14, 2020, 10:33:13 PM
I don't think many projects that change their focus to DeFi actually end up gaining much traction.

Not too many people are stupid enough to invest in a dead horse with a new name. I mean, I don't know anybody that stupid.

I'd personally stick to the tried and tested DeFi projects for stability, such as Aave and Compound.

There's a few good up and comers like Chromia, Orion Protocol, Meridian Network (LOCK) etc, which actually have good uses cases and/or tokenomics.

NEVER BUY REBRANDED OR REHASHED COINS UNLESS YOU PLAN TO FLIP THEM QUICK.

But there are really naive users that will buy those new DeFi projects without thinking so much. I guess a lot of people will regret later on by shelling out their money for these projects. Take for example the YAM project, they thought they found a gold mine on that one but the last couple of days, it fell down so hard I don't think they will ever recover its price. Their investments are now in jeopardy for those who bought that token.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Arrest on: August 13, 2020, 11:59:00 PM
Why indulging in something that will end in a mess? Now cheating on Goverment is a punishable offence which he must face squarely.

The former branch chief is suspected of illegally installing and mining cryptocurrencies with “professional hardware” using the company power grid for nearly six months, according to a report published by a local news outlet RNS
I thought that the bitcoin is legal already in Russia? What is the issue about using professional hardware if the bitcoin and crypto currencies are already legal from their country? I couldn't get the point?

And what has legality to do with stealing power?

You can have a legal tesla car and charge it by hooking up to your neighbor's power meter. In will not be legal and you will pay a fine if they catch you.

Mining is legal. Mining at work without having a permit for it is illegal. Stealing power is illegal. Also this was a fire risk.

That's the issue here, that individual was using government's energy resources for his own benefit. That's where he made a mistake. And I am guessing he is not the only one using company resources for their own agenda. Definitely, there are still individuals out there who are not yet caught by their illegal activities. There should be punishment on this even if he is a high ranking official. But sometimes, when the smoke clears up, they will just negotiate under the table, when media is already out of the preying eyes. Are they going to show to the public what will be the verdict on his case?
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN](ZUKA) Zukacoin POS + MN / Quark - INSTANT - PRIVATE on: August 13, 2020, 11:07:30 PM
Maybe he just launched the coin before having a website and is under development, like other social media channels Twitter/Facebook/Telegram/etc.

Let's give him some time to set all in place, before taking wrong conclusions. We shall see..

We have seen this kind of strategy many times before. If they are sincere and serious with their project, one of the first things to accomplish is their website. Because that will give us the notion if the platform is indeed genuine with the community. Though it is too early to tell about the fate of this project, but in my impression, this is just another short-lived project. Also, being a community-driven project? We all know where this is heading - another abandoned project in the next few months. I hope I'm wrong with this.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Defi] Vesta Protocol - UniSwap Liquidity Solution on: August 13, 2020, 11:47:18 AM
Even though you can see transparency about your funds in the blockchain, one can really have no assurance if the team will diligently follow the plans. As DeFi project is becoming a hype these days, it is easy to make promises to your customers. However, it is the investor's responsibility to follow thru your platform if they will ever spend money on yours. What do you think will be another guarantee that you will accomplish your goals as stated?

1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TOKEN] DOS Network - chain-agnostic Decentralized Oracle Service on: August 12, 2020, 11:05:11 PM
does somebody can tell me what make the price of DOS growing more than 30% now ?
because the latest news coming at july 11

thank you

Wow, the price jumps so fast. Look at where they are now and compare from the above price. Something is really going on in this project. Is it a trap or not? Before someone buy this token, they should make at least quick assessment if it is worth buying while it is still in the increasing mode or wait until it stabilizes its market? But this is really tempting for traders to jump on the hype. The OP is not active here so we don't know what's going on behind the curtain.

1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] GenesisOne: The Leader of Blockchain Gaming Platform ✅✅ on: August 12, 2020, 05:08:52 PM
You are only talking about pre-ICO and ICO here on your roadmap. How about developmental plans for your project? As you have observed, very rare that a blockchain project can successfully finished their ICO these days. What are your contingency plans if in case you will not reach your financial targets during these sales?

And can you give us the status what happened during this pre-sale of yours? How much you raised during this stage?

1728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Advertises Uniswap Phishing Scams on: August 11, 2020, 11:58:54 PM
Could it be that Google doesn't know about the scam because there has been no reporting of it? Especially regarding ads, maybe it's also because the system is running so it can't detect quickly whether the site is a scam or not.
The easiest thing to do is report it to Google Support. Usually Google will review it and will immediately take down the ad if it is proven.
But thanks for informing us here. It means that we can report it to Google in order to avoid people to be scammed.

Seems that somebody already reported those phishing uniswap sites as when you search in google, they are not there anymore. Kudos to those who reported them and not just taking the screenshot to share to others. I believe if we will report immediately those possible scam/phishing site to goole, we will lessen individuals that will be victimized by these scammers.

Anyone of us can report a suspected or confirmed phishing site here- An easy peasy task to avoid further victims of their fraudulent activities.

1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy company adopts Bitcoin as primary treasury reserve asset. on: August 11, 2020, 11:28:11 PM
Do you think this would help spread the world adoption of bitcoin? What impacts are expected more than just infecting the btc price in the market? Has it a direct impact on US dollar and other major currencies? Share your thouths please.

I think adoption should come from retail investors or average joe using bitcoin as a form of money. Not large institution like Grayscale buying bitcoin or MicroStrategy using it as hedge or reserve assets. I'm not sure if this is the first time we have heard a company making bitcoin as reserve assets, but I would say that this is welcoming and pushing the boundaries of bitcoin as a store of value.

But global adoption? I would say no. Besides adoption has slowly been taking place already, even in this current pandemic situation.

I believe there are other companies that already bought a large of their bitcoin stash and most of them are not saying publicly. But it seems that there is no significant impact in btc price with MicroStrategy buying a large amount of bitcoin as the market is still going down. However, this update is very welcome to the crypto community because it means, there are big companies trusting bitcoin as part of their assets. And that is a good promotion that may give inspiration to other companies to do the same. Adoption at all levels from users to small merchants to known companies are continuously happening even during this pandemic.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/interest-in-bitcoin-spikes-worldwide-during-covid-19-crisis
https://www.coininsider.com/bitcoin-adoption-accelerated-by-pandemic-says-winklevoss/

The interest in crypto spiked during this pandemic period because of several things such as looking for other payment options to use other than fiat money (being identified as one possible source of virus because of transfer from one hands to another), another option for digital payment, source of online income or looking for potential investment in the market.
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CWN] CryptoWorldNews Token (💲CWNT), Airdrop is ongoing :: on: August 11, 2020, 05:32:39 PM
yep this is their trap, and also CWN tokens are only listed on coinsbit, this exchange famed with a terrible pump and dump scheme.
Coinsbit is really a bad market. I have a lots of friends that complaining how their tokens got freeze by the management. Also knowing them as you said is a pump and dump exchange. Im thiking they are using bots to pump CWN. Literally pumping more than 100% with less volume can be considered as wash trade. 6k usd can be play easily by a whale.

As the choice of exchange here is not really of a smart one, then, it is only up to the trader if they will participate with the trading or not. Also, aside from their airdrop program, which is already outdated to promote a project, what else are they planning on how to expose this project? And how about the actual use case that they want to focus on? Just another front to attract users? In my opinion, the platform that they want to explore is really not necessary anymore because just by roaming the known crypto websites, we will already read all the news that we need aside from the fact that this forum is always here for you to check on what's going on with everything about crypto.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: REWARDIQA - Earn Free Bitcoin & REW tokens on: August 11, 2020, 11:30:56 AM
rewardiqa now listed on coinmarketcap and tradeable in several exchange
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/rewardiqa/markets

What is circulating supply of this it seems someone pumping this token to make new bag holders because only few people or only team members holding this token. I would like to suggest stay away from this project there is no transparency.

https://etherscan.io/token/0x3FFfFA8F3cc943e43f9f17a83Cbb18f4Bbb9f4AC#balances

I don't understand why project like this can be expensive in the market while those that really have solid foundation are ignored by traders. Also, their site is not yet secure and browsing the feedback on their app, there are some not-so-good reviews and I guess they have a lot of improvements to do here. Wondering if their support is really active in addressing the issues encountered by their users?

1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GS] Gauss Cash | DeFi+PoW | Liquidity Farming | CPoW on: August 11, 2020, 05:57:03 AM
Do you have profile links for your team members? Did you launch this project just in time for DeFi-related projects? Or is the idea for DeFi miners has long been in your kitchen? With no premine nor ICO, this project may be worth supporting for? However, are you going to release the block explorer? It seems that important link is not included in your OP.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Compare Withdrawal Fees before you trade on a Exchange on: August 10, 2020, 11:58:01 PM
You have raised a very good issue, and believe me the withdrawalfees website will come in handy. Also, what about circumstances where the token is trading in a single exchange and there no other alternatives to trade? For that, i recommend that traders can take their profits and withdraw through the token which has the lowest withdrawal fee on the exchange; it could be xrp, it could be eos etc

That site is really helpful when you want to reduce the fees you want to pay. But you need to consider about the liquidity of the exchange as well as the support. Because you might be chasing lower fees but it would take days and days to see your coins. Withdrawal fee is one important factor but if you can't get out your funds, I guess it is better to use an exchange with relatively higher fees but you have your peace of mind that you will receive your funds. Also, check if the trading volume of that exchange is what you're looking for. Because sometimes it would take days also to complete your order if the exchange is small and don't have much of trading activity.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto trends in 2020. How are you making them sweet gainz? on: August 10, 2020, 11:37:20 PM
Would like to see those mentioned projects progress in the next coming months. Very few of them can realize their objectives and so only few can hit it off in the market. It is good to see that you haven't included the ICOs anymore. IEOs however, depends on what exchange it is happening. Binance may give you a lil bit of relief but don't trust 100% as there are projects that can passed thru stringent requirements, and yet, they have no capability to move forward.

But one thing that I noticed though, less and less crap projects are being introduced. Maybe because people are getting smarter and not swayed easily by scammers anymore. Also, good thing that there are several scam busters here in the forum, so before a fake project can deceive a user, they have been posted in the scam accusations board.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]BTCHG IEO-15th Auguest|Started from 9$/token and check current PRICE on: August 10, 2020, 11:09:09 PM
Before you announcing new threads for new project, whats up with your old scam project mr dendi? i see all information about team on your website has been dissapeared and no more updated informations about project development and i saw last traded for Arch crypton is about 27 day ago, now you are announce new project named bitcoinhedge.

i belive that this accounts has connections with Arch crypton game : https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/ieo-arcg-crypton
which no more news about their project & team on website looks like dissapear & twitter has been change to other named

I guess we need to be careful in touching this project. With shady background like this, IEO investors should do their own digging here, otherwise, their funds will be compromised. The $9/token is too expensive for a token that has no actual use case in the market. And aiming to be at the $22 price level in few days is just ridiculous. I don't think their roadmap has been reviewed meticulously. They won't put those numbers as they have no control in the trading market. Unless, they will manipulate it.

Is this the site of this bitcoinhedge? - Seems that this project is different from this thread.

1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Eth.Limited] Staking, Dapp Gaming, BO Trading platform on: August 10, 2020, 10:29:17 PM
The roadmap link on your OP says internal server error. Also, I don't agree your tagline as the world's leading one-stop crypto exchange because you are not. You are a new player in the market so you don't have any proof whatsoever that you are the leading one. This is the reason why many naive users are getting rekt with their investments, false promotion. But since it is your platform, you can advertise your project as you please.

1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kulupu - On-chain Governance, Online Upgrade, WebAssembly, PoW RandomX on: August 10, 2020, 03:00:57 PM

Look at the order book of this coin. Who would have thought that this coin will reach about 45cents after almost a year of inactivity here? Lucky for those who mined and believed that this coin will hit in the market. But since the trading just commenced, expect that in few weeks, the price may go down and may see the true value of this coin. So be ready for what may happen in the next few weeks if you are seriously investing on this coin.

1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POA] ENCRYPT NETWORK $XCX - Annoymous, Untraceable, Secure Cryptocurrency on: August 10, 2020, 01:46:36 PM

It says we couldn't find your page. Seems that it is not yet listed in CMC. Also, there's no buy order at txbit. Are you sure you want this coin to stay at that exchange? The truth is, this is my first time to hear that exchange. And since I saw that you have a comparative table among ZEC, XMR and yours, I don't think you even came close to their market price. It is good to see that you have several advantages over them, but how about the popularity of usage? And since you are not doing good at your first exchange, do you think your trading journey will change anytime soon?

It is good to see that this project is still alive and i just saw your brand new website. however, your booking platform is still not up and running? I remember that you are developing one part of your business which is the booking platform and now that section is already gone. Are you still going to pursue your booking app? As I believe that was your main objective before, the reason of having the Touriva name. Tourism industry is down these days but this is good opportunity for you to develop your platform on that specific use case. Because without strong use case and employing smart contracts or data oracles will give you tough competition on that field. There are already popular platforms that are focusing those areas. So I don't know if you can really compete with big names in crypto.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: Since jobs are unlikely to return, Do u think there will be a 3rd $1200 stimulus on: August 09, 2020, 11:56:48 PM
Don't solve economic problems with a stimulus check, this will not make the economy recover. That is in the long run
can have a bad impact, because printing money continues to create hyper inflation.

If there's no available vaccine and no concrete plans coming from the government in long run
this will only adds a problem to economy.

There are several ways by helping  to improve the economy, such as helping industry in the agricultural sector, it can improve the economy.

Good point, places that still free or only got small numbers of infections, they can improve
this industry to support the daily needs.

Because the food ingredients needed by many people currently, the demand in the agricultural sector is high enough that it can provide
many job vacancies.

And like what  I have mentioned above, this also helps the daily needs of the people
in terms of supplying foods.

Some vaccines dedicated for covid are already in the final stage of its development. So hopefully, the sooner it will be available for public, the better for all of us so as to slowly return the economic activities in the community. The vaccine will give us a lil bit peace of mind when mingling with people and if we are at work, we can't really totally avoid interacting with people.

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/2020/05/moderna-coronavirus-vaccine-how-it-works-cvd/

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/2020/07/oxford-vaccine-enters-final-phase-of-covid-19-trials-in-brazil-cvd/

And mentioning agricultural sector, not only those who own large fields are into gardening during this pandemic. Just look at various articles discussing about their gardening experience during this pandemic. It is really heartwarming to see that finally a lot of people are appreciating the forgotten practice of mankind to be self-sufficient. You can also watch a lot of YT videos showing their garden or harvest and all types of DIY tips in gardening.

https://www.earthisland.org/journal/index.php/articles/entry/covid-gardening-boom-about-more-than-food/
http://aiph.org/aiph_new/gardening-will-keep-you-well-during-the-coronavirus-pandemic/
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-earth-day-especially-remember-plants-are-non-judgmental-what-its-like-to-start-gardening-during-a-pandemic-2020-04-22

But on the note about 3rd stimulus aid, I don't think it will happen. As the vaccine is getting to be released soon, and businesses slowly going back to its operations, releasing 3rd one is hard for the government's pocket.
