17201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Trump acts as a bully in a handshake on: July 11, 2017, 05:24:28 AM
It could mean almost anything.

Disclaimer: I'm not a Trump fan.

People just immediately go into conclusions saying that "trump is showing dominance" or some other things like "trump doesn't have manners" or something. I think people are over analyzing a stupid handshake. What is he's handshaking skills are just really bad? Even though he's probably had a thousand handshakes his whole lifetime.  Cheesy

But yea, it could also mean he's a bully. Lol
17202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hedge, Hodl or Sell Bitcoins? on: July 11, 2017, 03:03:32 AM
Do your own freakin research. If we knew exactly what would happen, then we would be freakin multimillionaires already. Hold if you're a true cryptocurrency enthusiast and you think that it will rise back up anyway in the future. Sell if you're panicking and you think it will crash hard. Exchange your bitcoins for other altcoins/cryptocurrencies if you think they wouldn't crash with bitcoin.
17203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm panicking, tell me it will be OK... on: July 11, 2017, 12:26:16 AM
If you've been really trading for more than a year, you should definitely know that this drop is only going to be temporary. I honestly expect alot more panic from the newer crowd.

Should you sell? or not? If you think you can make more profit or make back your losses by selling at a loss, then go sell! Want to make profit with lower risk? wait till the price goes up again.
17204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mine alt coins and withdraw bitcoin? on: July 10, 2017, 02:02:04 PM
- I DO NOT KNOW IF I AM IN THE RIGHT FORUM IF I AM NOT PLEASE NOTIFY ME -
Hello i am wanting to mine alt coins but from what i am seeing is that most company's only accept bitcoin.
Is there any way that i am able to do what the title says that isnt nicehash?

I'm not 100% sure, but I this is only possible through cloud mining, which is something I don't suggest using.

If you use your own hardware, the simplest solution is to just mine the altcoins then just exchange them to bitcoin using crypto exchange sites in like every week or month.
17205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blacklisting of government wallets on: July 10, 2017, 01:01:22 PM
https://www.wired.com/2013/12/fbi_wallet/

The FBI seized 144,000 bitcoins, which are worth $300 million today.

Right now bitcoin taxation is impossible, with or without address blacklists.

It's not impossible. They can raid your home, seize your computer, transfer your bitcoins from your wallet to theirs and then go on a nice vacation with your money.

Yea. How could they know how many wallets you have and how much you have in the first place? Don't use wallet services where they hold your private keys for you.

Also, blacklisting wallets is a very very bad idea. Let people decide on how they want to hold their cryptocurrencies.
17206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funding a movie with Bitcoin possible? on: July 10, 2017, 12:44:15 PM
Would it be possible to fund a reasonable budget movie (say $10MM) via BTC or Ether?

What do you think would be required to get enough interested contributors including some whales?

Ofcourse it's possible. It only depends on the director/funds manager or whatever you call the person who manages the funds/finances. But most likely not soon, since crypto is still very volatile. They wouldn't want to risk their funds crashing.
17207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If we were all inmortal would religion die? on: July 10, 2017, 07:02:33 AM
if we would all live forever, would people still go to churches and pray? what would happen to faith when death is no longer a problem...?

This is the weirdest question I've read in this subforum yet. How high are you? LOL

Well, to answer your question, why not? In Christianity's perspective God is the ultimate father and our creator. So why not? Just because we won't go to heaven or hell we should stop worshiping him?
17208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Illuminati on: July 10, 2017, 05:20:10 AM
You need to stop watching conspiracy theory videos. LOL.

Let me guess, the illuminati created ethereum to compete with bitcoin?  Grin Grin bitcoin and Ethereum are two different coins with different goals and purposes.

Gotta admit though, there are some good and entertaining conspiracy theory videos.
17209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the most that you've made or lost in a single trade? on: July 09, 2017, 12:54:26 PM
Biggest loss on me trading is only $50 as I am very careful about my trades and I usually play safe. It was on ethereum. Ibthought the dip would stop at 340. Well guess what. Were on the $260 range lol. Thankfully I only managed to buy a small amount that day.
17210  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think President Trump should do about North Korea? on: July 09, 2017, 12:31:22 PM
Just bomb the hell out of Kim Jong Un. China won't retaliate, they may just take over the bombed-out country.

Think about it. If they nuked North Korea to kill Kim Jong Un, don't you think that alot of innocent lives will affected too?
17211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: a Student wants to work on: July 09, 2017, 11:32:31 AM
Will this bitcoin thing will help me as a working student?

Depends on what course youe studying. It's better if you're in the IT/CS field.

If you're in that field, probably get a entry level job or an internship on a decent company that provides jobs for your specialization, then after gaining a few years experience, you can now move to companies that use blockchain technology. Not sure if they are currently hiring, but companies maybe like Bitpay and such.
17212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Introduction of mobile phones on: July 09, 2017, 10:35:47 AM
It can be a boon or a bane. It just completely depends on the person using it.

It becomes a bane if people use social media in public places instead of actually socializing with lets say, your family or friends.

It's a boon if you take advantage of smartphones by the way it's supposed to be used. "information on your fingertips". It should be a tool for easily accessing information on the web, not mainly for selfies.
17213  Other / Off-topic / Re: What top three youtube channels do you guys watch for Bitcoin news? on: July 09, 2017, 05:00:34 AM
There are lots of youtube channels that provide info about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, but here are my personal picks:

Boxmining: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxODjeUwZHk3p-7TU-IsDOA
Crypt0: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdUSSt-IEUg2eq46rD7lu_g
Ameer Rosic: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaPSoa3hoxgouMd8YdlUwXQ

They're the best in my opinion as they give real information and insights, not like the others that just shove their cloud mining referral links to your face for 3/4 of the whole video.
17214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ethnic Azeri girls from Azerbaijan were subjected to sex trafficking. on: July 09, 2017, 04:24:51 AM
I don't understand how the traffickers manage to live knowing how cruel are the things they've done. Also knowing that there may be minors being sold for sex. It's just straight off sick and disgusting.

Also, are forced marriages a thing in Iran? How could they just simply marry a woman and then end it in 10 days.
17215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker using bitcoin to cash in? on: July 09, 2017, 03:20:42 AM

17216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the cause for certain alt coins to raise drastically? on: July 09, 2017, 01:33:41 AM
The rise of altcoins prices can be caused by alot of factors. But I think usually it is caused by great marketing and hype. Just looked at what happened to EOS. It rose too much in price within a short time span. People were posting about EOS everywhere.

Anyway, I use TabTrader on android to be updated on altcoin prices.
17217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 08, 2017, 06:53:45 PM
For example you used your credit card to buy something online but you are not that very aware, then you've been scammed.

CC payment is reversible.

Yes true credit card payments are reversible. But don't take out one of the most important features of bitcoin, which is bitcoin being decentralized. Enjoy getting PayPal and your bank locking you out of your funds for some BS reason.

I honestly hope that you're actually not serious with your argument and you've just started this thread for the publicity of your website that you're trying to endorse.
17218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin after 1st august = Unstoppable? on: July 08, 2017, 06:39:01 PM
Is it safe to say that? assuming that everything will go as planned, UASF will get activated and everyone will switch to it and support it. (both services and individuals with more nodes etc.)

Assuming everything after the soft fork or hard fork goes as planned? Sure. It's very tough to say though that everything will go as planned, as I think there will always be problems along the way. Also, don't take out of the equation that some altcoins can overtake bitcoin in terms of market cap and level of global adoption. In my opinion I think bitcoin will do fine though.
17219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what would happen if Bitcoin the big B got split? on: July 08, 2017, 06:17:58 PM
what would be the worst case scenario in case bitcoin got split like other stocks?

What do you mean by "like other stocks"?

Anyway, if you're talking about the possible chain split, it's more likely in my opinion that bitcoin's price is going to crash to an extent obviously due to bitcoin being divided into two separate versions of bitcoin. I'm not that worried though since I expect it to rise back again after months or years. Though in an investor's point of view, the following months are going to be risky.
17220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trade target and chart on: July 08, 2017, 05:43:13 PM
I don't think bitcoin is gonna significantly increase in price yet. Definitely not soon and definitely not before August 1. Investing right now is a huge huge risk in my opinion, knowing that we can't say for sure what's going to happen before and after that date.
