1741  Other / Meta / Re: [LOG] The ranked up members - Congratulations! on: November 24, 2018, 03:01:25 AM
My posts on the first page have been updated.

This week Piggy earned enough merits for ranking up to Legendary but he has no sufficient activity yet.

PHI1618 who is active mostly in the turkish local board have become a Hero Member.

One of the russian merit sources chimk has reached a Senior Member level. morvillz7z and AverageGlabella also received enough merits for ranking up but they lack activity.

TomCrypto, Spaceman_Spiff_Original and Juliya_D are new Full Members.

Congratulations on ranking up! Cool
1742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC broke all major support lines, and the worse is yet to come. on: November 24, 2018, 01:37:03 AM
If nothing else it's a fine demonstration that TA is a crock of shit.

There have been plenty of people calling for sub 3 grand lows which is fair enough. I did not see one single example of a prediction for this particular brutality.

I totally agree with you. I have always said that technical analysis is practically useless for crypto exchange markets. The actions of price manipulators are unpredictable.

It used to be taken as stone cold fact that Bitcoin never went below its previous all time high. Post late 2013 no one mentioned the possibility it would go below $266 yet it did by over $100. This is why I don't think there's any point in making strong assumptions about possible bottoms, especially months in advance which is what these support levels are.

I guess that the Bitcoin miners already collected too many coins and they decided to sell BTC in order to pay for electricity or reimburse other expenses.

It also does matter that the Bitcoin inflation is still high. Every day the miners receive about 1800 new BTC coins. To only stabilize the price, it is needed to buy $4400 * 1800 = about $8 millions each day. In fact, the mining industry is centralized in China by several mining pools. It goes without saying, they can crash crypto exchange markets by simultaneously selling a huge amount of coins.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices are Being Manipulated... on: November 24, 2018, 12:47:01 AM
I believe that someone can really manipulate the market. The so-called whales can change the situation in order to make profit.
I mean to invest less and earn more. We can't be sure in it as crypto market continues to stay a miraculous place.

You're right. Miracles do not exist. Every investor wants to gain a profit, especially the "whale". Crypto exchange markets differ from traditional stock markets in that no one can stop trading if the price crashes, hence there are many manipulators. Thus, if one large BTC owner is suddenly selling his coins, the other large holders also start selling their coins. Probably the Bitcoin miners decided to get fiat money for purchasing electricity and reimbursing other expenses.
1744  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-21] Bitcoin Price Crash Not Caused By SEC Actions, Says Blockchain Lawy on: November 24, 2018, 12:12:27 AM
I have not heard of any new regulations of the SEC, so I think that this US agency did not cause the current Bitcoin fall to $4300. The BTC crash has happened suddenly, because the large crypto currency holders decided to sell the big amount of their coins. I noticed that Bitcoin Cash dropped very quickly and deeply -40%, so I guess that the Bitmain company which is a large BCH holder recently sold a lot of coins on crypto exchange markets.

1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: November 18, 2018, 07:48:37 PM
It is all clear that after such growth no one expected that the bears would drag on for almost the whole year. And there are still investors who have not yet sold their assets and are hoping for bulls. But not novices understand that by investing in this market they will have to endure and wait.

Indeed. This year the bears ruled the crypto currency world. They pulled prices down during months. In May and August 2018 there were two bull runs, but the general direction of the trade movement was downward. It should be noted that Bitcoin looked good compared to altcoins. BTC did not fall so drastically and cost more than $6000 over several months. The lesson from bear market is, do not buy crypto currencies when the hype is going.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DROPS TO $5,600. HOLD OR SELL? on: November 18, 2018, 07:23:16 PM
I guess that the inflation of Bitcoin is still too high. Almost two thousands BTC are mined daily. Eventually, these new coins are entering the crypto exchange markets. Miners are slowly exchanging Bitcoin to altcoins and suddenly sell all their crypto currencies getting fiat money. Probably investors are waiting for the next halving of the block reward. Anyways, I advice you to hold Bitcoin.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: arbitrage program?? on: November 18, 2018, 06:33:53 PM
Guys, what are your ideas about cryptocurrency arbitrage? I think that only arbitrage in cryptos can give more or less profitable trading without looses!  Has anyone tried? Pros and cons? Can you recommend some trading platform?? Thanks!

I think that the arbitrage is a profitable trading strategy. It is important to use automated trading platforms, because coin prices are very volatile on crypto currency markets. Their bots trade on different exchanges simultaneously.

I know two good automated arbitrage platforms:
1) ArbitrageCryptoTrader
https://arbitragect.com
2) Arbidex
https://arbidex.uk.com

Good luck.
1751  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of America will help large financial institutions to store cryptocurrency on: November 18, 2018, 06:03:50 PM
According to CoinDesk, the Bank received the corresponding patent on Tuesday, November 13.

In my opinion, this is important. Bank of America received the patent and they have an advantage over other banks. Obviously, they pay attention to intellectual property. Now the large customers of Bank of America can store Bitcoin in their own accounts. Probably the financial institutions will be interested in entrusting a big amount of their crypto currencies to the bank. I assume that this new service provided by Bank of America may have a positive effect on the Bitcoin price in crypto exchange markets.
1752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin control? on: November 18, 2018, 05:42:55 PM
Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and cannot be controlled, but regulations made by countries or the world can regulate the stability of crypto development.

Yes, Bitcoin is designed to be a decentralized crypto currency without transaction censorship and it cannot be controlled technically. But nowadays most of the mining pools that have a lot of ASICs are located in China, and many investors do not like such situation. One day the chinese government can ban all the mining pools by restricting connections through their "great firewall". In this case, the global Bitcoin network will be temporarily paralyzed until the mining difficulty is reduced. I think this is a vulnerability.

I agree that the regulations are necessary to prevent money laundering and to control criminal activities, but policies of governments are different.

I'm interested too. Should bounty hunters pass the KYC procedure to receive 4ART tokens?
1754  Local / Кодеры / Re: Требуется помощь js on: November 17, 2018, 06:00:46 PM
Code:
myContractInstance = MyContract.at("0xae4243e2c0f910223323dd2f2fdd16820b69f1d6");

Code:
myContractInstance = MyContract.at(document.getElementById("contract_instance").value);

Code:
Введите контракт: <input type="text" id="contract_instance" />

1755  Local / Кодеры / Re: обмануть трекеры портфолио on: November 17, 2018, 05:40:26 PM

Smiley

Cheesy
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: November 17, 2018, 05:18:09 PM
nope. somebody, including me, prefer to buy cheap tokens with price less then 10 cents. after analyse of cource.

I agree with you that the analysis of the coin is necessary. It doesn't matter how much dollars or cents a crypto currency costs. A successful investor must read its whitepaper and recognize a promising asset. On the other hand, top ranked coins are more reliable than low capitalized coins or tokens. To be honest, correct prediction of coin prices is a rather difficult task.
1757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platforms are growing but what about investors ? on: November 17, 2018, 05:00:55 PM
I'm sure that the growth of trading platforms is a good thing, because these new exchanges will compete with each other and will fight for investors who trade on their crypto currency markets. Eventually, ordinary people will get a more user-friendly interface and low trading fees.

It should be noted that usually automatic arbitrage platforms create accounts on many exchanges and they track coin prices in real time, so these investors can increase liquidity on the new trading platforms which have attractive bid/ask orders.
1758  Economy / Marketplace / Re: If Newbie Offers Investment on: November 17, 2018, 04:46:40 PM
Am I need to answer that, it is common sense " Don't trust anyone here " especially if your conversation is about money.
Its really difficult to give our trust to somebody here in the forum, unless you have escrow that are closed to you or it will depend
on your decision. Or instead of making transaction with the newbie person here in terms of investment much better to use to buy coins in the exchange at least instantly you can do trade immediately once you have the coins you buy in the platform.

In most cases, common sense "don't trust anyone" means not to invest in any project or not to trade with others. Hence reputation is important in this business. Of course, I personally will trust a high ranked member than a newbie. In general, newbies do not care about their accounts, so they can more easily deceive investors or scam traders.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for the people or for the corporations? on: November 17, 2018, 04:25:00 PM
I pretty often make Bitcoin transactions. Currently fees are not so high and not very fast BTC transactions are cheap enough. I transferred some BTC coins to my friends and merchants, so I think that Bitcoin is designed for ordinary people. It goes without saying, companies also can use Bitcoin in their business.
1760  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-16] Binance the Latest Exchange to List Goldman Sachs-Backed USDC on: November 17, 2018, 04:11:59 PM
Tether is so well distributed amongst a wide variety of exchanges, that people not ever going to cash out to fiat, make sure they keep liquidity in this market rather than it flowing out of the market. People mostly aren't interested in the process of verifying themselves to cash out, they much rather utilize their stable tokens to buy the coins they want whenever they believe the time is right.

Anyways, currently people are widely using Tether, so such coins that are pegged on the US dollar are in demand. I think that the USDC backed by Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan will become a strong competitor to the USDT. By the way, there is also an ERC20-token TUSD on the Ethereum blockchain. It is tied to the dollar too. Now traders can choose between these coins and diverse their funds in stable crypto currencies.
