These miners pull around 0.025 a day somehow and are hosted on ghash.io. I have come to realize that the mining calculators do not take into account luck of pool.  In theory you can profit on this offering. Especially if you rent a whole rig and hit an altcoin launch with it. |

FYI: A merge-mined coin can be merge-mined with ANY blockchain. So, if Doge decided to be merge-mined, any non-merge-mined scrypt coin can be the parent chain - LTC, FTC, NVC, etc etc. Merged-mining requires no changes on the parent chain; only source changes are on the merge-mined chain.
You're either merge-mined or not, you're not 'merge-mined with coin X.'
So Namecoin isn't merge mined with Bitcoin? I'm not being a dick, I honestly want to understand. NMC is merge mineable with BTC because it shares the same algo and was designed to be merge mined. Most of the larger BTC pools merge mine from what I have seen |
