1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: April 17, 2023, 04:28:33 PM
Ajax won, PSV won, Feyenoord won, AZ won. All the top four teams won this week and that is a very difficult job for the ones following because they wanted the teams above them to lose but that just didn't happen. I guess it is going to be tough for AZ to start realizing that they are not going to end up with anything this season, it is possible that they will finish fourth. They had a hope that they could go further this season because it looked like the top teams were missing some chances, but it is not going to happen.

We know Feyenoord will be the winners of this season, and AZ will be fourth as well, the only thing that is left right now is to see which team will be second and which team will be third, Ajax or PSV? That is still up for debate.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 17, 2023, 10:20:50 AM
Dortmund getting a draw on the week Bayern got a draw feels like such a missed chance. I watched the Dortmund game in full, and they had a problem of giving up when they were ahead. The first 2-0 was easy, and even one goal was disallowed from VAR and they got lucky until then.

Then they ended up getting two goals scored on them because they basically gave up, which is terrible but they got lucky again because after the tie they started to play much better again and scored 90' as well, that's awesome right? Then they gave up again, because you know it's 90+ minutes already and the other team can't score, well we saw what happened. I have to say this looks like something they need to work on, even when they are leading, they shouldn't just lay back.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: April 16, 2023, 06:26:32 PM
Honestly cryptocurrencies like now acts like stock, it's just being largely used for investment, some even call it commodities, I doubt it could ever replace bank, meanwhile i'm sure majority that invested in crypto would still actively use their bank so no, it will never replace that even in the future.
Most people see crypto as an investment tool. Not as a currency you can use for daily payments. This sentiment is what prevents crypto/Blockchain tech from achieving its full potential. If people started using crypto as currency, banks' existence would've been threatened by now. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Thus, banks will only grow bigger and stronger over time.

Don't expect crypto to go anywhere soon, especially when it's decentralized. It can never replace Fiat this way. I'm fine with that as long as crypto fulfills its promise of bringing banking to the unbanked. You can be your own bank with crypto anyways. So why care about traditional banks subject to corruption and manipulation? Just my thoughts Grin
I think it could definitely mesh together. Traditional banks are already evolving into digital banks. There are so many banks in the world that are purely digital and do not even have anyone that works for them in a shop, they are purely digital and that's it. Add the xchange mindset there, like be able to store bitcoin into something like that, you can have any fiat you want but you can have bitcoin and maybe eth in there as well? That would be something awesome to see and I would guess that there won't be a need to replace anything anymore.

This would be a solution to banks, they can continue to support crypto and they can make a lot of profit from it as well, should be able to provide a lot of profit for the banks we know right now.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 16, 2023, 05:28:35 PM
There is no third really, Kamala will not be nominated considering Biden will be basically the only nominee. Trump on the other hand seems like the only candidate after 4 years of Biden, people are fed up with basically nothing at all. Biden didn't do many wrong things, but he didn't do any right things neither, to be fair he seems like the president who did the least possible actions ever.

Some people like that, the system works without a president as well, they do not really need one aside from joining some parades and meeting with foreign presidents, no need for him to make a decision. Sad that USA will have to decide between two old people who shouldn't run a nation. They really need someone younger to be in charge if you ask me.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2023, 08:59:54 AM
Wolves definitely deserved to win that game, they were much better. I would say Sixers do have a bigger chance to win, Nets were high up there because they started the season with Kyrie and Durant, now they have none of that. They are basically a tanking team that found themselves in the playoffs, it should be a sweep if you ask me.

It's still good that players would get playoff experience but the reality is that we shouldn't really see anything change there and Sixers would win that game easily, hopefully at least. Celtics should be easily beating Hawsk, Smart would defend Young good enough, and Tatum/Brown duo should be able to destroy them on both defense and offense as well. No idea about Cavs vs Knicks but Warriors could possibly beat Kings.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 15, 2023, 06:16:35 PM
I think City could win the UCL if they keep this up, that is not known neither but they are having a marvelous season and I can see that happening, that is not really a shocking result. However, if we are talking about just the league? I feel like that may not happen that easily, it looks like we may end up with something much worse there.

I think it should be remembered that we are talking about a team that is barely getting closer, Arsenal has been the leader for a long time and even though they did had some draws and loses, City failed to capitalize on that. It is obvious that we should be seeing something much better here, which could only happen if Arsenal gets worse, not City getting better, City could win all the games but if Arsenal does that too, it changes nothing.

As all eyes turn to the eighth lambo round, I'll admit I'm a little sad that my user ID will no longer be displayed on the lambo page on freebitco.in. Only 33 tickets for me this round, so I'm not too optimistic about my chances here.

In a few hours someone else will get to experience what it feels like to win a life changing amount of money. I do hope it is someone from this forum. Good luck all.
Me: Cries in 0
Lol, getting zero is a bit tough, you should be getting at least one even if you gamble just a bit, the amount required to get just a bit is not really that hard and you could get a single ticket if nothing else. Obviously there will be plenty of people with so many tickets but remember that there were winners who did absolutely nothing and still got it.

Someone won it with a single ticket before, I guess. I am not sure but there was this winner, either second or third I believe, not really sure, and they had such a little amount of ticket, and they still won. Look at all the past winners and you will see that people with few tickets have won, and in order to be hopeful about it you should aim at at least one to make sure you at least participate.

hope can definitely be a poison in some situations
specially when you can't do anything in the situation to change and improve it

better to approach gambling in a less emotional state
just my two cents here
It can be bad when we are getting too ambitious on our each bet that we would win or seeing others we also hope to have high mutilpliers on our bet copying them but if we you are hoping that you could win if luck favours you then it's not a problem according to me but still you should be happy on each bet whether it's loss or win instead of getting into depressive state with your loss.
That's why you have self-control so you don't get ambitious at every bet and it can also help you to restrain your emotions.
If your luck comes, it won't matter to you because the victory has finally come.
And we shouldn't copy other people's bets because that doesn't guarantee we can win and it's better for us to place our own bets.
And it's better for you to bet in a relaxed state so you won't chase something that looks difficult.
That can make you enjoy gambling and can stop at the right time.
I do agree that when you are betting win or lose, if you put your emotions into the fact then you are going to have a terrible result in the long run. Forget about your emotions and just have fun. I am not sure if "fun" is an emotion, maybe we could say "joy"? That would make more sense in the end, that's the only emotion that you need and if you feel joy when you are gambling then it is fine, if you are not feeling joy then stop.

It doesn't matter if you are winning or losing, you could be winning and feel the pressure that you may end up losing that all back and that would be a pretty good reason to stop as well. So do not force yourself to continue when you are feeling like you are not going to be having any fun at all.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Round of 16 on: April 14, 2023, 06:51:06 PM
Anderlecth 9th in belgium league, and AZ being 4th in eredevise, and yet Anderlecth managed to get a win. Things are weird in conference league, these are not the top level teams in most leagues but these are not even top level teams in the lower level teams. We are not seeing too many teams like West Ham which is a top level league at least, most clubs are outside of the top 5 leagues, and not even good ones at that. And even there we get a surprising results here, they end up losing to teams they shouldn't.

I swear it should have been easy for AZ to have a win, it should have been an easy win, and look at the result, it is not and Anderlecth got a win, how they managed to do that is beyond my understanding for sure.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League clubs agree to withdraw gambling sponsorships on front of shirts on: April 14, 2023, 03:24:31 PM
Stake and sportsbet.io had it on Everton and Southampton if I am not wrong, at some point it was also Watford too back in the day. I think it would be terrible for business to be fair but if you have the money for it then you could go somewhere else. Remember, these are the crypto casinos that pay these clubs, they can maybe find an alternative or maybe not, 10 million just for Everton is unheard of and they will certainly not find anyone willing to pay that much for example.

And yet, if Stake could just pay that to someone else, they could find many clubs willing to accept, or maybe in another sport, they have the money to sponsor anyone they like, hell even whole leagues for that kind of money in smaller leagues.

I cannot believe that we are talking about 8th, that means from 200k dollars, that's 1.6 million dollars and I can't believe that it has gone this far. Not to even talk about all the extra stuff that we could end up seeing, after all we are talking about having something so major that it is definitely a big deal even if we removed Lambo from the website, they are still giving away so much. Hell it is named free bitcoin for a reason, you could literally just collect faucet if you want to do only that, but would be pretty boring tbf.

All in all I have some and I am waiting and I am sure it will never happen but it is best to keep doing this, I have a chance twice a year that's good enough to keep trying, who knows what would happen.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 14, 2023, 09:38:32 AM
I agree that leaving the hunt for Bellingham makes sense for most teams. It is said that Dortmund wants 130 million for him, considering that would be double what City paid for Haaland (because of release clause) I would say that it is too much. Maybe 90 million at tops? That would make sense, but when you go towards three digits that's where you lose me. Well, it is not three digits per say, it's 8 digits but you know what I mean.

We are talking about a player that is too much heavily dependant on having good players around him, and if you pay 130 million on him without having other stars around him, he will not worth that much. In dortmund he doesn't play like a 130 million guy, but if you put him in liverpool he would, that's why they priced him that way.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 13, 2023, 06:21:10 PM
I do agree that City and Arsenal are not having the best outcome they really want to see. But Arsenal is doing worse, they are getting closer, 3 points is nothing to City and that means Arsenal can't lose a single game while City hasn't lost any. They need to keep every single possible game they can until City loses a point somewhere.

I bet that since we are this close, there is a chance that City may not lose any points at all, and get the title. Not like that hasn't happened before, we have seen City win all the possible games when it got close to beat out Liverpool before, they really went for the record book for a while, they were so close to 100 points and that's a very scary thought if you ask me, beastly to reach 100 points.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Whitepapers to Read as a Beginner? on: April 13, 2023, 05:20:45 PM
I think it also depends on the project. Some of them has a technology which are too hard to understand for a common individual but in simple terms, they can contribute a big thing in the blockchain and crypto world as they can solve other existing problems in here.

There are also projects which use cases are only easy to understand like for example it was only a crypto exchange or a gambling site. The terms that are being used on them are less jargon. You just need to hang out often in this space and make it a habit to read stuffs related to them. If there are terms that you don't understand, you can copy them and search their definition in Google. You'll soon be good at them. Okay, buddy? Good luck!

Thanks for the share up bud. I did honestly missed out this one as i didnt been able to check out their tweet about this giveaway. It is really good that there would be no requirements after recieving it but
of course dont anticipate that you would getting that hundred bucks considering on how many people had been longing for this free money. Cheesy
With such tweets when there is no requirements even of tagging someone we would usually see lot of users participating in them to try their luck and the amount is also big worth $100 so everyone wants to try atleast. From all of them only one person would get that and it could be anyone from us also so always hope for the best and if not just don't loose hope.
I think it is important to remember that when there is an open buffet like that, the chances for a single individual drops, and you just have to accept the fact that you are going to end up probably not getting it, but if you do not join then 100% you won't get it, with this even if it is just 0.0001% chance it is still a chance that matters.

It may not a whole lot of money but it is worth to give it a shot at least. I personally joined in many bonuses and promotions and other stuff that casinos giveaway and I have been not getting them commonly, but on the rare occasions that I got something, I always say that it worths the times you do not win because in the end you did nothing big to get it anyway so why not do it.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: April 13, 2023, 08:40:30 AM
Was watching a rather entertaining introduction video (coming back to Red Bull since leaving 2018 if you can call it an intro) of Daniel Ricciardo hamming it up with other champions of their sports racing him in their own vehicles around the Outback.

F1 Car vs Outback | Daniel Ricciardo's Great Aussie Road Trip
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIGP0KFwRbQ

Also another interesting article about when Steiner says they had the option to bring Ricciardo onto the Haas team but he was asking too much out of their team budget:

I think at this point both parties are right. Riccardio may have wanted a lot more than most others and yes Haas can't afford him, after all he has so many wins but also if you look at the years he had in Mclaren by getting lapped by Lando Norris at some point (but also got a win too) I would guess that we could see a drop in his talents.

I mean not everyone who got a good result back in the day would be good today, then lets tell Webber to suit up again, that is not how it works. The older you get, the worse you may get if you do not take care of yourself. Looking at the end result, Daniel is third driver at Red Bull team, I would guess he would have taken ANY deal to accept a Haas situation just so he can race instead of just watching others.

Don't see them either buying some arts directly to an artist. The one I mostly see here is they are always running a contest where many artist join and try to win those appealing prizes offered by their management.

Also Nft of those art piece submitted before has been discuss but there's no feedback on roobet side if this will happen since maybe they are avoiding something that can distract or disturb their operation so I guess they are not really have a plan to create a NFT with those submissions of their art contest participants.
If I'm not mistaken it was happen on the last year, but now I don't see they're want to buy the physical art, although I don't know how much they want to buy it. It seems Roobet isn't a casino where they will follow the latest crypto trend, they just want to improve their current site, launch many unique promotions and looking to sign many players or celebrities to become their brand ambassador.
I would guess that with how they went with the NFT road, I think roobet wouldn't really care about whatever is the trend in the "crypto" world, and yet with how they added more games and such, with tons of promotions and marketing, they are a crypto "casino" at first, they do follow the trends on the casino part. Which I have to say I really like and I support because in the end this is a casino and they should be making that a priority without a doubt, it allows the world to do as well as hoped for.

If you enjoy the betting as much as you enjoy promotions or crypto stuff like NTFs and all, then this wouldn't be a casino but like a crypto company, might as well start an exchange at that point as well, makes no sense.

To be fair, Ferrari is not as bad as people make them out to be, they just had terrible luck so far and of course that is bad but that doesn't mean that they will continue to be this bad. I do not see them winning any races unless something major happens, even Alonso has a better chance looking at the state of Aston Martin this year, but the reality is that Ferrari was just unlucky and will get a lot more points soon. They had crashes, they had reliability issues, they had engine issues, they had so many things that did not work that well for them so far.

As long as they get to start a race and finish a race without crashing out, I would guess that their drivers would be in top 5, and get a good amount of points.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of tokens like Uniswap, Pancakeswap, Sushiswap, Apeswap? on: April 12, 2023, 06:08:15 PM
Decentralized exchanges is a need for the future and some of them will stay. Even though there is hackings and all going on, if we are to talk about just the idea of the swaps then I can say that it is going to be as good as it gets. I personally use them as much as I can even though I use CEX as well, and this is me who sends most of his money to Binance, that means there are some people who send all their money to DEX as well.

This is why it's a multi billion dollar industry and even though names can change and maybe something else will start and all that, we have to realize that the idea will go on. I do not think that it will ever end, and yes stuff like apeswap or sushi may die, but new ones will come out and be stronger.

Maybe the rest of the team should use that as a benefit? They were not ready for something like this obviously but when opponents guard Ronaldo that well, that means there must be someone else out in the open and they could pass to those players instead of trying to pass to Ronaldo all the time.

Right now, they are focusing too much on making Ronaldo score, and other teams know about this and guard him very well which leaves Al-Nassr without having any type of understanding how they could continue to play, whereas if we are talking about a better manager, then the solution would have been find out another scorer, like Talisca, or if he doesn't play someone else, and switch to focus there to make sure defenders can stop both.
