1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any truth to this? Cryptsy lawsuit? on: January 21, 2016, 12:44:01 AM

It also says something along the lines of the plaintiff believing that BTC sent to one wallet address should remain in that wallet address in a specifically isolated account from other users BTC, and that this should be a standard on all exchanges.

Taking this logic, your money on your bank account should remain intact 'physically' so bank may not 'borrow' it to give loans e.t.c. Good idea. It would kill the banking business.

Besides all exchanges should have a third party entity to serve as kinda an escrow, or simply by using multisig to prevent exchanges to run away with our money.
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: January 21, 2016, 12:25:16 AM
It all points to that. After surviving about 90 times, Bitcoin already accomplished the financial "Paris - Dakar" goal. The halving is coming and the price will surely rise. Let's hope it passes the $800 mark Smiley

1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocks are full. on: January 20, 2016, 03:56:02 PM
If we already know that the solution is a block increase I don't understand why it should be an increase to 2mb. If the increase is to be to 2mb in 2 years or less the community will be facing the same problem again.
So, in this sense, the increase should be to at least 8mb or even more.

Litecoin Price Technical Analysis – Clear Risk of Further Losses

Litecoin price failed to trade higher, as the 100 hourly simple moving average stalled gains. More losses are likely as sellers remain in control. Intraday Support Level via Bitfinex looks like at $2.90. Intraday Resistance Level can be at $3.03.

Bitcoin Price Technical Analysis for 20/01/2016 – Aiming for Next Area of Interest?

The short-term 20 SMA is crossing below the longer-term 50 SMA, confirming that a downtrend is taking place and that selling pressure could pick up. Price recently made a quick bounce off a nearby support zone, as profit-taking took place, but it looks like bears are ready...

Bitcoin Price Tight; Big Move On

Yesterday we went into quite a bit of depth concerning our interpretation of the action in the bitcoin price so far this week. We noted that the action represented a consolidation of bullish and bearish sentiment and that this consolidation could act as a sort of winding up before a big move. Action has now matured throughout last night’s Asian session, and we are mid way through today’s European session, and things haven’t (as yet) worked...

1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: January 20, 2016, 04:25:42 AM
I was gonna mine Ethereum for fun but a lot of steps are involoved in setting it up. I don't have a programming background so I just gave up. I do like the idea behind Ethereum.

its kinda complicated setting the Ethereum mining up. I lost a lot of time stting my rig up. But I couldn't do it anyway since the rig had a W7 32.
Now I need to instal the 64 and try again.
1757  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy, the living fallacy of numbers on: January 20, 2016, 01:40:46 AM
Democracy is just a Kind word for the Dictatorship of the majority. It didn't work in Greece and it doesn't work today. Now we have the technology to implement real decentralization and that should be the next Political system.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Your ONE STOP SHOP for Altcoin Webwallets, Mining Pools, Exchange on: January 19, 2016, 07:04:38 PM
Yep. I like their business model. By allowing people to mine through their pools they actually get more customers.
They still have a pretty low trading volume but I believe they will grow a lot during this year.
