1743  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Akyat nanaman sa $6,000 ang Bitcoin! on: March 31, 2020, 07:02:10 AM
For the update from Tradingview;

1744  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: March 31, 2020, 01:17:43 AM
We can survive this crisis. I mean, we should! I am also seeing those government officials that are still corrupting the budget for the people who are really in need in times like this. Our economy is suffering a lot, I know government is doing their best to help the people but it wasn't good enough.

Some people are starving to death and yet those officials still aren't giving what people deserve for. How about the no work no pay employee? I am sorry but I am disappointed for the slow response and I do hope this will be a way for the government to understand our real situation.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: March 31, 2020, 12:10:34 AM
Other governments didn't see Bitcoin as a threat. In fact, there are countries who are supporting bitcoin by legalizing it on their place.
Those government controlled investments you are mentioning were providing a safety and security for your funds. Because they are centralized thus taking control of your money with of responsibility. Ensuring people that their money is safe, making them more at ease with their own fund.

While investing in bitcoin, you do control your own money.
1746  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Paano] Magbigay ng Bitcoin bilang regalo on: March 30, 2020, 08:52:03 AM

Isa pa, mabuti at magagawa ito in an offline mode. Medyo nakakabahala kasi kapag gawin ito via online dahil sa mga malwares na kumakalat, etc. At least, safe itong gawin.
1747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A long journey taken short - first and last journal entry of a failed trader. on: March 30, 2020, 06:06:46 AM
I think you had overconfidence in trading that leads you to failure as well. Trading can't actually make you millionare as you stated. Well, you can but not instantly. Even expert traders lose a lot. And since this market's volatility makes our trades win and lose, we should accept the fact that we are risking our money here.

You go and tell your dad, bro. It is better if you'd be honest. I'm sure he will pretty understand you since you are his son. And please, do not be pessimistic. I, myself lose a lot in trading but I keep on motivating myself that I can still recover. This serves as a lesson for you, buddy.

Never ever use loans in trading.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: March 30, 2020, 04:08:33 AM
There's no safest game. Especially when you are newbie. But back then, I only knew how play dice when I was a newbie before. Actually, you can explore those games and find which one do you like the most. As for sports betting, well, it's safe if you are sure about the team and know those  teams you are betting. We all came from being a
newbie, right? But the more we explore, the more we become experienced player.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: March 30, 2020, 02:34:27 AM
It's a priviledge to use bitcoin as a payment. I remembered doing it last year in  gasoline station. Well, the feeling is good since the new technology makes it more efficient and convenient for us. But not all here in my place still not open for new cryptocurrency payments. In times like this ncovid crisis, I do hope some supermarket will reconsider and accept btc payments.

But, I have been doing it often in paying my bills. Good thing our local exchange provided it. Less hassle.
And still, aside from using it as an online payment method,  I am also considering it as a store value.
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 30, 2020, 01:09:34 AM
The good thing is that we can have opportunity again to buy when price drops again in the future. So don't regret it, continue having an optimistic mind. If this crisis needs us to sell our bitcoin to keep us from living and to maintain our good health, then don't regret your actions. And you are not the only one who sold their coins even at deficit price. I do hope we can overcome this crisis and live a normal life.
1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 29, 2020, 03:46:50 AM
They have been hearing about bitcoin already. I mean those who are already surfing the internet before. But, the thing is they aren't aware what is it for and how it can be use. But then I somehow agree, this home quarantine will become an eye opener for those people who wanted to earn online since this crisis may be the reason for them to seek online services and online earnings.

There are a lot of promotions, ads about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I believe they are already seeing those but not yet that interested as well. If you can start off with your own relatives, promote it to them. It can be a help for adoption as well.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 28, 2020, 11:59:55 PM
Almost all the sports have been postponed. There is no matches left for betting on sports. What are gamblers(sports) doing exactly now? I know it is very boring days. Locked down in home, no matches to gamble. Are you switching to other casino?

There are still sports that aren't closed and postponed like dota in a particular gambling site. Aside from that, there are tons of casino games that we can play with while other sports games were postponed. We can still think of other games to kill the boredom. Actually, I am trying other games like video poker and plinko. I am exploring those casino games that I haven't play before.

Or, why not play cards at home with your family?  So much idea not to be bored while this home quarantine is on going.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 27, 2020, 07:16:47 AM
The problem for others always missed the opportunity to buy is that they hardly spot the right time to buy. The moment they wanted the bitcoin's price to go down more before buying, the opposite side happens and it will started to bull run. If there's an opportunity to buy like 20-30% price drops, why not proceed?

But I do believe, a lot of us here who are long term hold bought bitcoin when it was around $5,000. Current price today is $6k above. We are holders, so we can still wait for further price pump even it takes longer.
1754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: March 27, 2020, 05:10:50 AM
I don't think so. It is still ranking on top 1 no matter what. A lot of speculations that ethereum and bch will gonna beat the bitcoin but until now, the king remains on the first rank. It is the first cryptocurrency that is created thus making it special.

Regardless of the altcoins good characteristics, the reputation and established form of bitcoin can not be surpass. It is different from the other and has beyond impact which can basically change or rather improved the future.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New suggestion for unpaid bounties on: March 27, 2020, 03:07:17 AM
You can always post a thread to Scam Accusation thread if it turns out that the bounty was turned to be scam. But this can't be guaranteed that they will gonna pay you
I remembered being unpaid from my one bounty project from the past that I have joined before, last week of payment were not distributed and the issue was left behind.

That is why we should always choose the right bounty projects to join. A lot of them were trashed, but there are few who are still legit. You can always check the top list before joining. You must have a proper research on them.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: March 27, 2020, 01:37:08 AM

Do they not think that we spend a lot of time campaigning for their projects.

All they have to know is that the services of campaign participants are very large towards the success of a project. It is they who continue to provide information to the public.

I used to be a bounty hunter before thus I feel your frustrations about these useless projects. Efforts and time were made and yet the team always postponing the payments and the bounty rewarda especially when the market is down. If one participant can just spot if the bounty will turned to be scam or not, we can save some time and efforts. But how? Look for the transparent project teams and a good bounty manager.

Quote
I hope the bounty manager can check each project before it is managed, and for cheat managers, stop cheating.

I always choose a good and reputable manager before joining. I am not saying new managers are not good enough to handle bounty but an experienced and established bounty manager will lead a good project.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 27, 2020, 12:15:28 AM
You are referring in physical casinos. If those gambling business tend to closed because of this corona virus, there is no choice for them but to take a rest and keep distance in playing. There is a chance that they will manage to lessen their addiction in gambling but I doubt because there is also online gambling existing online that you can still gamble even at home.

Perhaps that is an opportunity for an addictive gambler to spend time with the family when those casinos were closed and has a chance to finally overcome addiction. If of course (they aren't fond of online gambling).

1760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 26, 2020, 07:57:09 AM
Volatile market makes it risky. You are engaging in unstable crypto market with your own bitcoin. And  i have read the article, it was compared to the other assets like stocks. Thus it was said to be safe haven because it can be considered as long term investment.
 Here's what they have said in the article;

Quote
High volatility in the stock market suddenly makes Bitcoin’s volatility less intimidating, leading to further adoption and good news for the cryptocurrency. So, Bitcoin is safer than most assets – especially right now.

From my point of view, this ncovid crisis makes it for people recognize the use of bitcoin. But that doesn't mean that it is not risky.
