1741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Tools (120% APY) on: July 10, 2023, 10:33:54 AM
No trader who ever claims any kind of crazy profit ever shows this, because none of them are telling the truth.
120% APY in trading? That is very possible. In fact, 120% APY is small to what some people earn. If you think it is not possible, just go to one of the crypto exchange derivative trading leaderboard, you will see the profit traders that have not closed there position are earning. But also a trader can lose while some may not earn up to that in a year.

But do not get me wrong, I do not know if OP is telling the truth or not.
1742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinsbit is a Scam Exchange becareful on: July 10, 2023, 07:32:43 AM
First of all, you supposed to post the full URL link for us to know if the site is fake or the original. The original site is coinsbit.io which does not have a good review on Trustpilot.

This Exchange used some trick to fake the daily trading volume so they could rank up at Coingecko and Coinmarketcaps ( there where i foud them )
If the trading volume is not verifiable, coinmarketcap will indicate that. I do not think the trading volume is not true, but there service may not be excellent or good the way you want it and that is the reason for reviewing sites.

With the revie on Trustpilot, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/coinsbit.io, I will say you should avoid such exchange.

Why don't you try exchanges with better trust score, like not less than 9 score on Coingecko: https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges

Aggregator sites are not sufficiently likely to detect moderated trading volume, and that is not the first reason to conclude that the exchange is good overall so you can easily send assets to them.
Trustpilot is a review site which I think is what you are talking about too. If you see good reviews, you may still doubt it and make further research because good reviews can be bought, but if you see poor reviews, believe it and stay away from the sites with poor reviews. I have found most that are rated poor to actually be bad or scam.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: July 09, 2023, 04:44:46 PM
I have also heard of some local stories about how some coaches require money from new footballers before they allow them on trier both in their clubs and national teams. Is this happening globally for new players who are still seeking to find a spot in clubs?
This will be common in countries that are corrupt and this is one of the reasons corrupt countries will lack good players. I have noticed that this is common in countries like Africa. But maybe not common in countries with better players in the world like the South America and Europe.

The best players would be chosen if no corruption and bribery.

Do you think Cameroun miss Mbappe or it is Mbappe that missed Cameroun ?
Mbappe would have been a better product for Cameroon, but know that not only because a player is known to be good that he is good, also his team are also good and that makes them to be a better player. Probably Mbappe may not have become one of the players among the team that won world cup, but definitely he will still be known as he plays for club. I see Cameroon to miss him though, he would have been a better player there.
1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is the logic reason behind legacy/segwit wallet address not sending Bitcoin on: July 09, 2023, 10:23:08 AM
I don't see any reason to use wrapped Bitcoin when we can easily buy ORIGINAL Bitcoin.
Some people that know about wBTC use it for staking and earn some coins using APR to calculate the earning. The staking APR is very small compared to the bull run time profit of bitcoin.

I guess it was open-source before Binance bought it. Or was it owned by Binance from the beginning?
Trustwallet is open source before. Binance bought it and gradually make it close source.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 08, 2023, 09:00:17 PM
You can see professional gamblers not gambling always. But they can stake huge amount of money on few bets. The bet can even be just one in a day or in two days or in a week.

Some professionals like to make use of arbitrage and some other ways to make money from gambling. I have not tried that before but if possible they can use that means, that proves that not only pure gambling that gamblers make money from.

Some even make money from deposit bonus. And other means. That is why you will see gamblers going to new gambling site that is trustworthy already to gamble. But all these do not mean they are addicts.

The way some people are gambling are different. Some that go for pure gambling may not be gambling often, but look for a particular game and go for it.

Some people will only try their strategy like martingale and if it works and they make money, they may not gamble for a while. But casinos is more addictive.

But we should not call anyone a professional gambler. Some people called themselves professional because they are skilled in gambling and they try to follow the rules of discipline. That is different and the opposite of gambling addiction.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin experience a more price increase during the halving? on: July 08, 2023, 12:14:37 PM
I know what you mean, but supply is not reducing. I mean, there is more supply every 10 mins, right? So, technically, supply is increasing. The rate at it increases is the one that is shrinking, reducing, halving. I know this is a detail, but still worth of mentioning.
I appreciate the correction and I have changed it. I did not mean the total supply, but the mining supply. So I changed it to the rate of supply.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 08, 2023, 11:59:00 AM
Though I've had losses in gambling but I've never had such a sad one like he's, I was introduced to gambling by a coursemate in college who won a jackpot, thought I lost in my first three trials but played again and won about 80k in my local currency, there are people that's made millions through gambling and some others are yet to win but still find it difficult to quit, share your experience if you have any whether good or bad, cause I believe there are people here who would learn from it.
I have experienced it before, so depressed and wish not to gamble ever again but seeing myself gambling more and losing more. It is good to discipline oneself while gambling but which I lacked at the time.

In total, I lost in gambling than winning, so I have zero my mind not to ever use the money that I can not afford to lose to gamble ever again.

We are the problem of ourselves, or we give ourselves problem. If you use like 5% or less of your weekly income to gamble, that will not affect you if you lost all the 5% weekly. We should work towards what will not affect us if we lost to gambling.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin experience a more price increase during the halving? on: July 08, 2023, 11:05:45 AM
SEC sued Binance and Coinbase, but not that the exchanges collapsed. If those two exchanges can collapse at once, bitcoin price will reach $20000 or below very soon. Bitcoin is not affected because it is an opportunity for people to buy more and for those that have not bought before to buy.

If institutions buy bitcoin, the demand increased and bitcoin price will increase. But institutions can decide to sell bitcoin too. Institutions are different from one another.

The more people buy bitcoin, the more it would become scarece and the price will increase.

As there is halving, lesser bitcoin will be supplied to the circulation, this will help because if the suppling rate is reducing, the higher the price can be. With increase in demand, it becomes scarce and the more the price.

People will likely buy more after halving and this will increase bitcoin price.

We are waiting for spot ETF for bitcoin which will also help. Likely spot ETF for bitcoin would have been approved closer to the time of halving and this willl help in the price to increase too.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Tools (120% APY) on: July 08, 2023, 10:24:53 AM
How do you manage to do it minus Tradingview?
You do not have to depend on tradingview. I have never even used it before. Traders have different approaches. But I see no valid contents from OP than what he posted that he is using, but trading is beyond that.

As for those on Twitter, I see them as nothing but shilling too.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 09:53:30 AM
Insert Quote
I have seen the risk in trading and its noticeable that trading needs more concentration than any other thing in the cryptocurrency investment
Trading and investment are not the same but different. Trading does not go beyond swing trading and it can be day trading or scalping which are riskier. Investment which can be short or long term. Short tern investment would be at least 6 months.

I know that trading need more seriousness and concentration because its a risk job and risk investment
I will advice you not to see trading as a job. If eventually you are good and make money from trading, do not forget how risky it is for not to tell people that it is a job. Going for trading is a loss for more traders.

4rd, ability to notice that greediness can be a barrier of losing the profit you made.
There are many times that I have opened position before and I gained enough already, but thinking I will gain more but the market reversed and I later lost. It is good to overcome greediness while trading.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 08, 2023, 07:35:08 AM
One thing a wise person will do is to think of a better way which is very less risky to make money after he make huge money from gambling. In gambling, huge money comes not in long term, it income at once and this makes some gamblers to spend the money anyhow they want and to use it to gamble more, they stake more. If they are wise, they will look for any other means which is not that risky to make money from.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: July 07, 2023, 10:06:11 AM
Look like Manchester City still being favorite in the 2023/2024 session.
Manchester City won EPL in three years consecutively, if the club win this time again, it will make EPL not as competitive as it was before. EPL remain my favorite leave, but I do not like a single club to win all the time. I belong to no club and I like different clubs to win. One of the time I enjoyed the most was when Leicester won the league, but the club has relegated, and now in the championship this season that we are about to start. August 11 is still somehow far though.

I think we should evaluate his success rate thinking of what kind of a team he has been managing so far. Arsenal aren't close to Manchester City's level in squad quality as you know. Arsenal are a very young team and they like to invest into promising players continually. In this case it is quite difficult for them to be competitive for the EPL title every season.

But they still did a great job this season. They led the standings for a long time and became competitive for the title. They just couldn't make it to the finish like that due to lack of experience in the team. However this is still a significant improvement thanks to Arteta.
You only saw Arsenal to have tried, the club team did not try enough, the last time Arsenal won EPL was 2003/2004. That was 9 years ago. It would have been good if the club won last season too, but they fail when the season was about to end.
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: Okko Bet | Neural network for first bets | Rates on the verifier | Affiliate 50% on: July 07, 2023, 09:41:26 AM
This is not a bookmaker.
This is a neural network in order to beat the bookmaker's line.
The referral system works only for active subscribers of the Okko neural network with 50% deductions.
Bets are published by the bot on football and hockey matches
Statistics verified by independent bet verifier Alpinbet.
There are about 50,000 football matches in the database. These are statistical indicators on the basis of which the neural network was trained. Now there are more matches in the database, because the database is replenished every day and the neural network is self-learning based on each negative series. The bot has a trial period.
To beat the bookmakers? You mean you are kind of a prediction bot on telegram to predict matches? So that punters can win the bookies. If it is about prediction, you are not first, but the bookies have been making money daily from punters.

If no money involved which can make us say this is a scam, then good luck to have more people that will join. But people should know they can still lose and the bookies will always earn money as punters are gambling.

I will advice people not to trust any paid site or bot or anything related to money about this.
1754  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance existing Deposit Addresses to Be Retired in Q3 (July - September 2023) on: July 06, 2023, 08:42:32 PM
There was an old announcement a few months back if I can remember correctly. Is it the same announcement or Binance is changing the deposit address once again? That would be weird.
Check the link on the topic, the announcement was published on 2023-07-06 which was today. You can see that on the announcement. This is not about the recent one, it is another one and it was announced today.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is the logic reason behind legacy/segwit wallet address not sending Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 04:07:19 PM
Stable coin depegs are bad but wrapped token depegs can be worse.
They are both worse.

UST from Terra scam: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/terraclassicusd.

UST was a stable coin pegged with USD. It has become dead. The price now is $0.01211964.

We should not trust anything that is pegged. We are saying the same thing, we should not trust anything that is pegged.

We have diverted away from topic.

What I will say is that we should avoid any site that do not allow you to send to segwit address. They are lazy or not having enough money to upgrade and these can make them got hacked.
1756  Economy / Exchanges / Binance existing Deposit Addresses to Be Retired in Q3 (July - September 2023) on: July 06, 2023, 03:49:13 PM
This is coming from Binance

https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/existing-deposit-addresses-to-be-retired-in-q3-july-september-2023-ffbe37cbd85f46db8fe3021ee3f85eb3?

Be expecting an email from Binance with the email account you used to register on Binance. If email is not sent to you, do not bother.

For people that mistakenly send to former address, you can credit your account manually.
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is the logic reason behind legacy/segwit wallet address not sending Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 02:53:09 PM
Not according to https://www.binance.com/en/fee/cryptoFee. Ignoring their scam chains, the withdrawal fee for "Bitcoin" is 10,000 sats, while the withdrawal fee for "BTC(SegWit)" is 50,000 sats. As if paying 10,000 sats for a withdrawal which costs Binance 100 sats wasn't bad enough, for some reason they charge 5x more for a cheaper segwit withdrawal. Fees this high are to prevent people from withdrawing coins and therefore let Binance continue to run their fractional reserve scam. And of course as BHC points out, if you do actually withdraw your coins then >99% of the withdrawal fee goes straight in to Binance's pocket.
I did not know that Binance has done this kind of a thing before. Segwit fee is almost twice as low as legacy fee, but Binance make it the other way. If more people have been using segwit when that was done, I think that is what they are trying to do, they know more people are using segwit and more fee the Binance will earn.

Their made-up "wrapped" tokens even get "market cap" and with that, pretend Bitcoin's market cap is lower than it actually is. What if I take 1 Bitcoin and wrap it 1 billion times? My market cap will be $30 trillion!
According to what I read, the coin is not just pegged in price, but collateralized, they bought bitcoin for it and they have it in their reserve. They reserve and mint the token which are altcoins. If they buy bitcoin and mint the same amount of token, that will increase bitcoin price and marketcap appropriately.

But the problem is that many people do not know the main bitcoin from the fake ones on Binance and many other exchanges, they will think they have bitcoin, not knowing they have altcoins. If anything worms happen to those BEP2 and BEP20 chain and people list their, bitcoin holders will not lose, but those that hold those altcoins that they thought are bitcoin will all lose.

My advice: avoid any exchange that feels the need to create their own "token" to increase their own profit. Just like you should avoid any exchange that overcharges you on withdrawals.
I trade and I use many exchanges. Out of tens of exchanges that I have used, I still have five active ones which are Bybit, OKX, Kucoin, Binance and Huobi. I noticed how Binance manipulate to favour itself. Example is when Binance user deposit altcoin pegged with bitcoin and other coins on BEP20 chain, the confirmation is fast and you can use it to trade immediately olto open position in derivative market, unlike the main coins (not only bitcoin) which they can delay for almost 10, 20, 30 or more minutes, they do it for altcoins that can confirm almost instantly too, they delay them with many confirmations required and reaching certain confirmation before it is unlocked. The one that occurs to you people which are the fake bitcoin that you are talking about, it is more than that, but this is about bitcoin, I will not explain further. Out of all the exchanges, Binance manipulate the most and having what are centralized. It has its own stable coin which is BUSD, two chain which are BEP2 and BEP20. Traders traders just have to be wise for the wrong approach Binance is using, but the liquidity on the exchange is good. Other exchanges that I have mentioned too are good, they are my best pick before they started to make KYC compulsory one by one. This year alone, Bybit, OKX and Kucoin has made KYC mandatory.
1758  Economy / Exchanges / Another multi-asset mode account. on: July 06, 2023, 02:05:46 PM
On Binance, there is multi-asset mode, which is limited to some coins like bitcoin, ether, bnb, ripple, USDT, USDC, BUSD and USDP. On Bybit there is unified trading account which is unlimited because it applies to all coins. The coins you have on multi-asset mode on Binance, or the coins you deposit into your Bybit unified trading account, you can use them to open a position or some positions depending on how you want it. These are the two exchanges that I know that have such way to trade.

Another which I know is OKX, it has multi-currrency margin, I do not know what it is because it requires accounts that want to go for it to have at least 9900 USDT worth of USDT. But I do not think it is the same as to what I am looking for. If anyone have option for it before, please you can let me know about it.

But my question is I like to trade with several coins at once, to use them to open a position. I have done that on Binance and Bybit successfully. But I need more exchanges for it. I use Huobi, OKX and Kucoin but they do not support it. Any other exchange that support trading with more than one coin at once to open a position?
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is the logic reason behind legacy/segwit wallet address not sending Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 10:09:40 AM
I don't think it's laziness. They simply don't care about their clients, and neither do they. Binance is charging much more than an average Legacy transaction, and they still use it. They're like charging 50k sats for Legacy and 20k for Segwit, and I see nobody quitting Binance for that reason. There's absolutely no reason to charge that much, except from the profit they make (which is about 99% of the fee).
Do you think it is appropriate to use Binance as an example? Binance is supporting segwit which you also talked about. There are exchanges like Bybit, Huobi Global and many other ones that you will only see accounts with legacy address. You can not also use many those exchanges as example for the first question because you can send from their legacy address to other bitcoin address like legacy, compatible segwit and native segwit. I do not know of taproot address, but you can send to other addresses.

I will say that is not laziness if an exchange only have legacy address, but allowing transfer to other addresses. But an exchange only allowed legacy address and do not allow sending to segwit, what should we call that?

The exchange that I have used before that do not allow sending to segwit is this exchange which you can not tell people to use called Yobit, the exchange may be allowing sending to segwit now, but did not allow when I tried that in the past.

As for Binance, I have been using it for over three or four years ago. If you want to withdraw, you will not see legacy or segwit, you will see bitcoin.

Binance do not discriminate if you want to send from one address to another. I do not know of taproot address. It give the option to select either Bitcoin legacy or Bitcoin segwit if you want to deposit.

The withdrawal fee for all the bitcoin addresses are the same on Binance. Not the altcoins like ERC20, BEP20 and BEP2.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game Winner Result Changed After 24 hours (Defaulted) on: July 06, 2023, 07:24:51 AM
In football, I remember there were few matches like that. I remember one in the past that the winner was later said to be the loser. What I thought was that the bet has been decided when immediately the match finished and nothing will alter that. We have different gambling sites with some changes in their terms of service, maybe some gambling site may include it that if the match was later cancelled and to be replayed if the loser was later declared the winner, that they will deducted the money from their customers and settle people thought to be the loser, but I do not think that is how it works on gambling sites. Once a match is finished, the bet is settled without exception. If the match result is later altered after the match has finished, non of the gambling site business.
