It was already obvious that Russell deserved Bottas' seat with his performance at Williams. He did awesome things lately with one of the worst cars in the grid. And Bottas hasn't been able to compete with Hamilton also. And his action in the last race already proved that he wanted to leave Mercedes. I wonder whether they give the same car to Hamilton and Bottas both. Because Bottas is not a really bad driver. Maybe the car is a hindrance for him to get ahead of Hamilton. We will see it in the next season when Russell joins the team.
So Bottas will be expected to team up and play nice with Hamilton,,, I cannot see that happening easily unless Bottas already made a decision to take the money and do what the team need hehe. Yes he is not a bad driver but this season he should have at least 2 or 3 more Top 3 finishes. He has just not enough aggression to win.
Bottas needs to stay a team player as when he moves to AlfaRomeo whomever who will be partnered with next season wouldn't be creating problems for him because I don't think that F1 teams likes a driver that doesn't listen to team instructions,
It will probably not matter as much as in a team where it competes on Drivers Championship but still there is some situations where divers from same team needs to be on the same page look at Hass for example Mazepin and Schumacher have been in a heated relationship that making it difficult race next to each other.
Other news for 2022 season is that Tsonoda and Gasly have been confirmed for Alphatauri so Perez is also confirmed to be partnered with Max next season with RedBull I know that he signed a new contract with Redbull keeping him one more year but this week results have suggested that Gasly should be the one to be promoted to RedBull car.
Knowing the leadership style of Red Bull and specifically Helmut Marko, there is no doubt that if necessary, there will be changes and all these contract extensions do not say at all that the composition of the teams will remain unchanged for next year. Also, I would not be very surprised if something like this even happens this year, if some driver from Alpha Tauri or Red Bull has an unsuccessful series. By the way, I am also surprised that the contract with Tsunada has been extended right now, and not at the end of the season. I don't think that Bottas will take revenge on the team in any way because of the non-extension of the contract, because in any case, Bottas remains in the Mercedes system and the contract with Alfa Romeo was signed precisely because of this and now it is just clarity and stability for Valteri, because before that the contract with him was extended these few years at Mercedes only for the next season.

I was quite surprised that Mourinho was able to make Roma win twice by scoring so many goals, it was extraordinary and beyond the predictions of
many people.
I am not surprised because Roma has a good squad and is managed by a top manager, Mourinho. All people know how good the reputation of Mourinho was, when he managed Inter Milan to get 3 trophies in one season. It was proven that Mourinho is a great coach and very suitable for the Italian football atmosphere. I am pretty sure that Mourinho can be successful with Roma this season. I expect that Roma can finish in the top 3 at the end of this season.  Wink
Although nowadays many people say that Morinho's reputation has been reduced due to his failure at tottenham, but it looks like Morinho has brought quite a big change in the As roma squad this season, and of course by bringing AS Roma to become champion will again make Morinho good name reckoned as a one of the best coaches.
Although Morinho is a pretty reliable coach, to be honest, I personally don't like seeing his behavior that continues to spark controversy and has no respect at all for the club or other coaches.
It's just that this style of behavior and leadership of the club has long been developed by Mourinho and nothing can be done or changed about it. Mourinho is a great motivator and knows how to shake up the team, but this method of managing the club has side effects and does not always work. Let there have been no great successes in his coaching career recently, it is very difficult to constantly show only the route of take-off and take-offs are usually followed by falls, and it seems that Mourinho has not yet exhausted his resource. Although, of course, each subsequent failure narrows the circle of applicants for his services, and Jose is used to working with teams that claim something. The most important thing is that these claims are supported by finances and the appropriate team composition. In any case, you should not rush to make far-reaching conclusions for several rounds and wait at least for the middle of the season.

Even though Ronaldo is taking around 26 million pounds a year at 36 years old, dude is Ronaldo and they just got him so it is not an option to get rid of him. However Cavani is 34 years old and getting 13 million pounds, that is like half of Ronaldos salary is already paid. I would assume that if they get rid of Cavani, they could even give him for free just to get rid of that big bulk salary, but if they end up finding some sucker that would be willing to pay 13 million pounds more on top of that? They literally will be paying Ronaldo with the money they made on a Cavani deal for a whole year.
I would assume that it is possible they could consider it, they have enough players on the team that makes so much profit, so why shouldn't they actually end up selling Cavani? It financially makes sense and roster management would be fine as well.
It all depends on how Cavani and Ronaldo can play and whether they can at all. Only after that it will be possible to talk about parting or extending cooperation with Cavani. It seems that during the signing of the contract with Ronaldo, there were conversations about parting with Cavani, but now all these conversations seem to have subsided by themselves. In any case, Manchester United is not a team that lacks money and therefore has to recruit young players who cannot give results now, but can do it in a few years. Manchester United can afford age-related players, but who will make the result right now and if Cavani is capable of it at the age of 34, then I don't see any reason why United should get rid of the player.

Honestly he won Copa America finally this year, but he has been playing with his national team for so long without winning anything at all. That should tell you that it is not always so easy for Messi to adapt to any player that easily, certainly not under 5 games.
No, it doesn't tell anything about Messi's adaptation!! Messi has done a good contribution to his national team, even they cannot win any trophy, we cannot blame Messi. In my view, Messi has no problem with his adaptation both in the club and national team. I don't say it is a must to adapt under 5 matches, but that's my prediction. What's wrong with guessing he can adapt well under 5 matches? By the way, you must note that judging a player adapt well or not, should be from how good he can play with other players. Don't judge it based on winning or not a club, that's not the responsibility of 1 player but all players and the coach!
The most important problem of the Argentina national team has always been that the team did not match the level of Messi in its level. On the one hand, this is not surprising, given the fantastic playing level of Messi and the number of golden balls won by him by the best player in the world. On the other hand, in any case, the team must somehow adapt to this in order to win titles. We saw perfectly well on the example of Barcelona at the time that it is possible to choose such a composition of players who looked great with Messi and won not only at the local Spanish level, but also in the Champions League. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain is not experiencing any financial problems and has assembled a decent squad to solve the highest tasks. But the great thing about sports is that it's not always money and the stardom of the squad that decides everything and the other teams also have chances.

It is no tale that C.Ronaldo is a supergoal machine, in short Jose mourinho described him as a  nuclear weapon whilst he was still a playmaker at Juventus. Hopefully, there will be a turn around at old Trafford if C.Ronaldo is basically utilize to his fully capability. Him been a goal hungry striker will motivate upcoming players to level up their game. I don't see ole letting him relax on the bench after his beautiful comeback goals at world up qualifier and following the shambles game against wolves despite a lone goal win. Undermining Ronaldo effect will be detrimental to the team morale, the young lads needed a legend so active and there he is, put him to use before the games get tedious.
Ronaldo is still a very influential player in a team. He is still able to turn a boring game into a more attractive and interesting game for the team he plays for. I think he was not bought to sit on the bench, but he was bought to improve the quality of the team and win title. It is interesting and most valuable to have a player like Ronaldo in the team, he can benefit his team with his skill and pace and goal productivity.
Manchester United vs Newcastle United will be Ronaldo's debut match, will it happen?
I do not think that the last time he left premier league is the same as it is right now. Don't get me wrong premier league was great back in the day as well but this United and this premier league is a lot different than what Ronaldo played back in the day. There is a lot more pace, a lot more strength and a lot more possessions going around at all times, there were a lot more 0-0 results back in the day when Ronaldo played compared to right now and that means there are a lot more shots as well.
Ronaldo will still be a good player there is no doubt about that but do not expect him to debut and suddenly make United a top notch team overnight, United was already second in the league last season so they are already good. Let's see what he does but I think his first few games will be a bit difficult for him to play and eventually he will grow bigger.
Of course, in any case, Ronaldo will need some time to grind and it's stupid to expect super results right away. But given the level of the Portuguese, I would not be surprised if Ronaldo immediately starts to show results immediately. The most important thing is that the team both technically and mentally suits the player himself, because it was felt that the very style of the Italian championship and the Juventus squad did not quite suit Ronaldo. And I am not sure that Ronaldo should revive the memories of his game in his last coming to the English Premier League, because it is not constructive enough and there is no benefit in it. Emotionally, yes, good memories of good old emotions will never hurt. By the way, I am not sure about the debut against Newcastle, maybe it will take more time for the debut, as in the case of Messi, no matter how much the player and the fans would like it, because this is a different club and a different training process.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 04, 2021, 11:51:02 PM
I have a similar theory but my gut feeling says that Bayern will rest their stars, and bring them as substitutes so they get match practise and avoid getting injured. Lastly I personally feel that Bayern is strong enough to defeat Leipzig without Lewandowski’s presence on the field, hence I feel that they’ll name a weakened team (just my gut feeling).
I don't think they would go out on the field with a very weak team. Although the next game is more important, Leipzig is not an easy team either.
They can start the match with a good team and then make changes to rest the players, without allowing injuries and without making the high tempo match. There's still time for the game, we'll see Smiley
I'm more convinced that Bayern Munich will use half of their key players against RB Leipzig. It's not just the first match of the Champions League that is very important, the match against RB Leipzig is also important to secure their position.
Maybe a player like Lewandowski will not play, because he is a very reliable player in Bayern Munich attack against Barcelona later.
I agree with you. Winning a Champions League match is more important than winning against Leipzig. Lewandowski may not play against Leipzig. Because he is the main player of Bayern Munich. If he performs against Leipzig and is injured, it is an irreparable loss for Bayern Munich. However, I hope Bayern Munich's performance against Leipzig will not be bad, even with fewer key players.
Actually, the loss of points with such an opponent as Leipzig can then hurt at the finish, so I think there can be no talk about putting up a reserve team in any case. Another question is that it is possible to leave individual players in reserve at the beginning of the match and release that Lewandowski if there is a need for him. On the other hand, I have an ambivalent attitude to the full rotation of the squad, despite the fact that the championship has just begun and the players must play their sports uniforms. However, the last word in any case belongs to Nagelsman and how he is going to alternate Bundesliga games with Champions League games, especially games with a potential competitor in the fight for the title of champion.

In the end, Hamilton managed to recover the gap but it was not enough to take the pole position.
Perez is such a mediocre driver he reminds me about Bottas.
As often happen Gasly shines in qualy, he deserved the spot in RedBull over Perez imho.
Bottas is at least very consistent in being Merc’s no. 2 driver and with the points accumulation at every GP.  Perez is just not reliable enough for Red Bull to get the constructor’s trophy.  And he recently signed a new contract.  Lol.  But I guess there’s a performance clause in there so that Helmut Marko can kick him out.  Cheesy
Here, for sure, the peculiarities of Helmut Marko's character manifest themselves in all their glory, when he does not want to admit his mistakes and will continue to hold on to his opinion. I think that the change of the technical regulations can completely shake up the balance of the championship teams and other teams will also have chances in the fight for the title, so Gasli may have chances in Alpha Tauri. I think that Red Bull does not want excessive competition between their drivers, giving some priority to Verstappen and giving Perez more time to settle into the team. Which of course still looks strange, given past experience.

I also wonder whether Donnarumma has some clauses in his contract for a guaranteed number of games or anything like that. Would he really sign a contract with PSG when he could expect to be sitting on the bench for a whole season? I also somehow think that there is something we don't know about yet regarding his contract details. Maybe he is going to play the champions league games? Or the Coup de France?
There only way otherwise would be a very weak Navas or an injury for Navas.
I think that such things as mandatory participation in Champions League games are unlikely to be prescribed in the contract, because this will greatly constrain the club in the matter of building a squad. I think that a large salary in itself is a strong argument for Paris Saint-Germain to use Donnarumma in the team's games. I also believe that Donnarumma is confident enough in his abilities to use the chances presented, and the chances will be provided by the coaching staff in any case. Navas has already faced a similar situation at Real Madrid, when Courtois joined the squad, who did not shine at all at the beginning of his career for the Madrid club, but he was constantly given chances to justify his large investments in the player.

As far as I know, the deal between Ronaldo and Manchester United has been in the final. And we haven't heard any rumors that PSG has made any offers to Ronaldo. But I heard he might join Manchester City. But City may not have been interested in him.
Ronaldo has officially become a manchester united player and of course this closes all the speculation that occurred during the transfer market, previously it was rumored that PSG wanted to recruit ronaldo to replace Mbappe, but this failed because PSG prefers to hold Mbappe now, if you say manchester city not interested in ronaldo, you are wrong, because actually manchester city is the most aggressive club to buy ronaldo and it is even rumored that an agreement between juventus and manchester city almost happened, but at the last second of the closing of the transfer market it turned out that manchester united also wanted to sign ronaldo so of course ronaldo would prefer to return to old trafford because the club was very instrumental in his career.
Actually, as far as I remember, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer himself informed the management of Manchester United about the obvious disadvantages of Ronaldo's move to City, when rumors began to spread about the possibility of such a transition. Also, as far as I know, Paris Saint-Germain did not officially apply to Juventus about the transfer of the Portuguese and everything turned out to be only intra-club discussions on how good it would be to have Messi and Ronaldo in the same team. Manchester City went much further in their negotiations with the player and Juventus, but also left the game without competing with Manchester United, who showed much more interest in the deal and for whom this is much more than a normal deal.

Did you hear what Riquelme said about Messi? He said he thinks Messi will return to Barcelona next year. After winning the champions league this year with Mbappe and Neymar, he will return home next year and retire in Barcelona Smiley
If Messi thinks he is a professional player, he must stay in PSG until his contract ended. So, I assume Messi won't consider coming back to Barcelona next year. Talking about UCL, there is no guarantee that PSG will win UCL this season. It is strange to see Riquelme's statement, how can he become too confident saying "after winning UCL title this year". No one knows which team to win the UCL title this year. Anyway, where do you get this information? Can you share the source link here?
I don't see any point in bringing Messi back to Barcelona. Firstly, in any case, Messi will have at least one more year of his contract left, and I don't think that a professional like Messi, who has spent his career at the same club, will try to change the team at the end of just one season, even after winning the Champions League. Barcelona is in the process of rebuilding the squad and is now trying to get rid of the dependence of the team game on Messi and there is no point in rebuilding the game again if the game is successfully rebuilt. Unfortunately, I think that it was a transfer from Barcelona with a one-way ticket and a return is possible only after the end of Messi's playing career, when the Argentine either takes an official post in the club's structure, or takes up a coaching career like Zidane.
1751  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: September 03, 2021, 11:59:17 PM
Since Bitcoin also functions as an investment/trading tool, It is possible that Bitcoin can make someone be rich. Sure, there is no guarantee about this, depends on how good the individual is in managing his/her Bitcoin. Successful trading or investment requires many factors; including sufficient knowledge, proper strategies, etc. However, we cannot deny that there are people who successfully be rich through Bitcoin investment or trading. So, it is wrong if you claim it isn't created to make people be rich. In reality, it really happens.
^ Definitely right but BTC did not promise to anyone to make it rich and probably other people thinking that way. BTC was created just because of the purpose to alternate the fiat money when it comes to transactions. But other people saw that it makes profitable, by holding to it and store value and also in trading they saw the potential of making a profit, so we cannot deny the fact that BTC is also profitable or made people get rich. That is it, it was created to make us free from our government but they found out that much better to get profit too.
The wishes to be free from the government in any case, let them remain only wishes. The current system of public administration did not appear out of nowhere and not in vain to take and cancel this system. I think that any ordinary person has a lot of claims to his own state, but this does not mean that everyone's freedom from the state will lead to prosperity and prosperity. A poorly functioning system of state administration is better than freedom from it, chaos and anarchy. Therefore, freedom is a relative concept. Bitcoin could allow you to become freer, but it will not be able to guarantee complete freedom in any case. Well, as usually happens in human history, ideals become a victim of mercantile considerations built on greed and profit Wink

Yes I know Juventus in the past but my judgment is based on current conditions we haven't seen the real Juventus, the current squad is like a substitute
I compare Juventus conditions to Arsenal but Juventus are a little bit better. Next play away against Napoli, I doubt Juventus get the points.
If it was based earlier then I also with the Juventus squad still haven't found their true self, but remember Napoli are not an opponent to be underestimated this will be the main focus for Allegri who must win this match otherwise it will be more difficult after this against Milan after Naples.
Their points will be behind if they lose consecutively then it will be the same as Arsenal.
UCL competition is very tight. Juventus have to go through a lot of challenges from other European teams that are far more powerful than Juve's game, so this must solve problems in the domestic league before the UCL.
It's not even worth comparing the situation at Arsenal and Juventus. We can say that Juventus only relatively failed last season, still winning the national cup and still making it to the Champions League. Until last season, the situation for Juventus was developing quite favorably and winning the title of national champion did not pose any special problems, which is radically different from the situation with Arsenal, where the championship in recent years looks like an unthinkable dream. The only problem was to make a step on the international stage and win the title of the winner of the Champions League. But unfortunately, this did not happen and even there was a degradation at the domestic level and Juventus could not win the championship. In any case, the season has just begun and there is a lot of time to fix the situation.

Achievement and business should be something that must be balanced, because if their performance continues to decline how can their business be successful. So indeed, Arteta should have been sacked and in fact, I personally don't think Arsenal is a big team after Wenger left Arsenal. The only way out for Arsenal is to find the right coach who is more experienced, not about finding new players to be placed in the defense or attackers because if the coach can't implement a good strategy then buying players will still be useless.
I also believe that Arteta should be gone and I believe that nobody sees Arsenal as a top team anymore at all, not in the big four, not even in the big six at this point. I believe City, Liverpool, United, Chelsea are the big four right now and I can put west ham and Leicester above Arsenal as well, and let's not forget Spurs too, they had a bad year last year but they are still better than Arsenal for sure.
So, that makes 7 teams that are easily better than Arsenal right now and that would put them at 8th place if you ask me. Of course there could be some miracle and they may end up above one of those teams but it looks like that is not going to happen at all. So that puts Arsenal to a mid table level team at the very best and not any "big" team level at all.
Why are you all attached to Arteta? The championship has just begun and it is worth Arsenal, led by Arteta, to win a couple or three victories, as conversations will immediately subside. Why are you all attached to Arteta? The championship has just begun and it is worth Arsenal, led by Arteta, to win a couple or three victories, as conversations will immediately subside. Arteta was given more time and chances, and if he can't take advantage of these chances, then of course he will leave. At least, Wenger rejected the option of returning to Arsenal, saying that the club is in good condition and it has potential. Wenger said that he is now a simple fan and expressed the hope that Arsenal will fix the situation.

They will get Mbappe for free next year and $150m should be enough for Dortmund to let Haaland move to Real Madrid. To avoid fair play and La Liga restrictions, they have to reduce wages by letting some players out like Bale, Hazard...
Well it is possible in theory but I doubt Haaland will move to La Liga.
Yeah, getting Mbappe without a transfer fee can help them sign Erling Haaland much easier. But even if they manage to sign Mbappe and Haaland at the same without violating the La Liga financial rules, I wonder whether Haaland would adapt to the team easily. Like you said, maybe Haaland wouldn't like play in the La Liga and he would prefer to play in the English Premier League. Then, maybe Manchester United would sign him as they are already interested in him.
In fact, Real Madrid may try to sign Mbappe in the winter. However, this may not happen again, if the information is true that the Emir of Qatar personally blocked the sale of Mbappe this summer for 200 millons, because he wanted to see a bunch of Messi, Mbappe, Neymar in action. And about the departure of Haaland, Bayern CEO Karl Heinz Rummenige and Arsene Wenger have already spoken recently. Rummenige said that Haaland is a key figure in the Bundesliga and will not stay for long, having gone abroad. And Wenger put it more specifically that Haaland will move to the English Premier League, because the league dominates economically. By the way, I think that Haaland will also move to Manchester, but not to United, but to City Wink
1755  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: September 02, 2021, 11:59:38 PM
No country's government has any role in crypto even if they want to they can't do anything in crypto because crypto is out of their control if the government wishes it can boost the country's economy through crypto. Governments of different countries are thinking of investing in crypto through crypto height.
if a country can make their own crypto of course the government of that country has full control over the digital currency that is created. but of course the digital currency of a country cannot be used as an investment vehicle such as bitcoin or most altcoins because the digital currency must have a stable value.
Yes, because the constantly rising price of the national currency is the worst dream of any finance minister or the head of the central bank of any state. What can we say about the constant strong fluctuations in the currency exchange rate several times and in different directions. The relative stability of the national currency exchange rate plus inflation within reasonable limits are the benchmarks of any government, which ultimately contributes to the growth of the economy. Also, control over your own currency is a prerequisite. All this cannot be provided with the help of cryptocurrencies, and therefore many governments, to put it mildly, are not enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the entire control of governments in cryptocurrency will be to establish the boundaries where cryptocurrencies can be used and that these boundaries do not overlap much with fiat currencies Wink

The talks about Bottas moving to some other team (mainly Williams) and Russel to Mercedes floated around for a year now, it has been a thing for way too long and I believe that people are making a lot of noise about just a few pictures of a new car. Yes one day Russell will be at Mercedes without a doubt, but Bottas literally said that Hamilton likes him as his best man at his right side whenever he needs him, so Bottas saying Hamilton wants him could mean a lot more than just a picture of a car, that makes a lot more sense.
Hamilton also probably wants a Bottas type of racer behind him because that way he knows that he is a racer that will follow every single order and help Hamilton to win, I would give some points of Hamilton to the fact that he was racing with Bottas, truly believe Bottas is the reason Hamilton won certain races.
If Russell comes in guns blazing wanting to win some races, then we are going to end up seeing them clash with Hamilton and that is not something Hamilton may want. 2023 season is the last season Hamilton will race probably, and maybe Bottas-Hamilton duo can stand until that date, and then on 2024 Mercedes will have a brand new line up with Russell and someone else.
Why have these conversations resumed with renewed vigor? Because Bottas ' results have fallen recently. Toto Wolf would certainly have been happy to leave the line-up unchanged, but Bottas finishing in the second ten is not a good help for Hamilton in the race. There are interests of individual riders and there are team interests. So, it is in the team's interests that a new strong driver appears in Mercedes, who, after Hamilton's departure from racing, will be able to continue to bear the burden of leadership. Therefore, of course, the option of keeping Bottas in Mercedes is likely, but still, personally, I am more inclined to the option of Russell joining the team, no matter how Lewis treats it.

You are right about Messi leaving the team, most people would not want such a transfer but I think the number 10 jersey is also important. Not every player can wear this jersey, I think it's too early to give the number 10 jersey to this player.
Ansu Fati is very talented, but he is still at the beginning of the road compared to the players who wore the number 10 jersey before. I hope he doesn't lose his talent and can be among the legends Smiley
Why did Barcelona let Messi go too easily?
The transfer of Griezman can be done earlier to cut their salary budget and it would be enough to sign a new contract with Messi. After Messi left, they had reasons to get sympathy from Pique to cut his salary.
All things are in a plan, perhaps? They did have plan to force Messi and Griezman out of the club. And I feel that they did not want to keep Messi while they can solve this situation better.
Yes, that could be true. But still, Barcelona is very late with its actions to reduce the budget. Also, Barcelona clearly wanted to get as much money as possible for the sale of Griezmann, but it was too late and it was impossible to fulfill the wishes about the price in such a short time. I don't think that Griezmann's transfer alone, even if it had taken place on Barcelona's terms, could have solved the problems with signing a new contract for Messi, because as far as I remember, Messi himself had to agree to a salary reduction several times due to non-fulfillment of the financial fairplay conditions. It all had to be done in a complex, with the sale of several players and not so hastily.

The experience Keylor Navas has is one of reasons he is the first choice for goalkeeper position in PSG now. However, I believe that PSG won't sign a contract with Donnarumma just to use him as a second goalkeeper. Additionally, Donnarumma won't join PSG with the intention to be a substitution for Keylor Navas.
He is talented and only lack of experience in Champions League because since his debut in Milan, AC Milan did not have a single season in Champions League. The Best player of Euro 2020 title is a good recognition for Donnarumma. He will beat Keylor and take the first position soon.
Keylor Navas is much more experienced than Donnarumma so it is only natural that PSG give him the opportunity to become the team's number one goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Donnarumma was brought to PSG as a second goalkeeper who might replace Navas as the main goalkeeper if Donnarumma's performance is better than Navas. Sooner or later Donnarumma will become PSG's main goalkeeper considering Navas is currently 34 years old. Navas' achievement with the team and his experience make him worthy of being PSG's current main goalkeeper. Donnarumma has to be patient for that.
I think that for this season, if the health of both goalkeepers is in order, then the principle of rotation will be applied, when, for example, Navas plays in the championship, and Donnarumma plays in the cup matches or vice versa. In any case, no one will constantly keep the best goalkeeper of the European Championship on the bench, especially while paying a huge salary because of the amount of which Milan and his ungrateful pupil did not come together Wink It will be interesting to see who they will bet on and who will be the main goalkeeper in the Champions League matches. However, football, like life itself, is quite changeable and any injuries or an uncertain game can make their own adjustments to this issue.

I voted City but pre Ronaldo I think Chelsea is City’s strongest rival for the season.  Post Ronaldo...?  It’s close imho.  The ‘scene’ has changed with him around and United has like suddenly catapulted themselves to be lesser than the 6 to 1 underdogs they are to win the league.  The only thing holding them back rn is their manager.  Again...  imho.
He'll guarantee goals definitely, however aside from that I don't think Manchester United will be that much better off. They'll get top 4, but I don't think he'll catapult them to the top. Chelsea, and Manchester City have the overall better teams. Personally, I think Chelsea are the title favourites this season, with the better squad when considering depth. For starting eleven, then Manchester City probably still has the strongest team.
Got to remember that Manchester United didn't buy Ronaldo after careful consideration, it was more of a impulse buy because they didn't want to see him going to Manchester City. Now Ronaldo in that Manchester City squad would have been much more concerning, but Manchester United if you've watched any of their games still look quite fragile in a number of areas.
For all its potential dangers, the signing of Ronaldo so far looks like a very good step that can allow Manchester United to increase their confidence in their abilities. Now everything depends on the skill of the coaching staff of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who should successfully fit the protugalets into the team game. I think that the style of the English Premier League is even more suitable for Ronaldo's current playing style than the Italian championship. You can talk as much as you like about the strength of football squads on paper, but everything is determined only on the lawn of a football field and the composition of Manchester United is quite competitive and with proper luck can even claim the highest titles.

Full Version in here: List of transfers and transfer fees for the 2021/2022 season
Jack Grealish and Romelu Lukaku are two players who have quite fantastic transfer fees in the Premier League. These two players were bought for a fee of more than 110 million Euros. If the transfers of Halland and Mbappe also occur this season, then both of them will enter the list of other most expensive transfers after the two players above. Lukaku, Grealish, Mbappe, Halland are the players who have received the most attention from big rich clubs this season and because of their quality they deserve to be expensive. Halland and Mbappe in my opinion are not going to the Premier League, one of them will be in Spain next season.
Grealish and Lukaku did have great performances at their previous clubs, so in the end they both became players with the most expensive transfer fees
this year well deserved. I hope that Lukaku and Grealish can directly contribute to their respective teams this season. Unfortunately for Mbappe and
Haaland failed to move this year, because both were not released by their respective clubs. Otherwise Mbappe and Haaland will break a much bigger
transfer record. There is one more name that was missed that could break the transfer record, that player is Harry Kane who also failed to move
this year, having found no agreement between Man City and Tottenham. But for next year only Mbappe can be obtained for free, after his contract
with PSG expires.
The Premier League is generally an order of magnitude higher than the other leading leagues about the transfer campaign. If the other leading leagues have had a decrease in the financial part at times over the past 3 years, then the Premier League has a relatively small decrease. If the Premier League spent 1.56 billion euros on transfers in the summer of 2019, 1.42 billion euros last summer, then 1.36 billion this year. Compare with La Liga, when Spanish clubs spent 1.36 billion in 2019, 399 million in 2020, and 293 million this year. The financial situation of the clubs is not as brilliant as before the pandemic. Few spectators at the stadiums, plus the reduction of television contracts with the leagues, did their dirty work.
