Given the good supply of good sites like BitDice, betking, moneypot, primedice, bitcasino,... this is no surprise. Bitcoin gambling makes the whole process so easy compared to fiat gambling.

yes, and what i like most it's the speed. You can play in seconds on blockchain-based games

What's your favorite on-chain game? I prefer LuckyBit personally.

1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is there any legal way to bet BTC in the USA on: April 27, 2016, 12:47:58 PM
Legal BTC gambling in the USA? If you're worried your coinbase etc. will be closed for gambling you could use Bitmixer.io to mix your coin from your exchange wallet to your personal wallet and after gambling mix them to the exchange. There's various places where you can play if you're from the USA. Try BitDice.me for example.

Coinbase very careful in controlling every transaction conducted by a user using the service. So I guess in the US gambling law BTC nothing forbids, there is only a wallet BTC which prohibits any transaction used to gamble and illegal things like Coinbase. It is so good for those users that have never done Illegal deals and to gamble, but it is absolutely interfere with those who do illegal transactions and to gamble. You can use the Wallet other than Coinbase if want to do gambling using BTC

You missed my point did you. If you send coins from coinbase to a separate wallet directly and then gamble coinbase can still ban your ass. However, if you send the coins to your wallet through bitmixer, coinbase cannot track the transaction down.

Any strategy for big volume with low-mid bankroll?

My opinion is everybody should find their own way. A way they are comfortable with. I personally play way too risky to ever reach big volume.

I've managed to pull 0.0003 BTC to 3+ BTC playing BD, PD, BK and many other sites. But as far as gambling goes ot's always uncertain and I haven't been able to pull off same kind of runs in a good while.

Links to betslips posted in chat now show as [Betslip] and when you click they open instantly with no page reload.

liking the new betslip feature in chat! works really nice

Thanks.

We'll also be looking to add 0 confirm betting on sports too so you can get bets in asap before event starts.

What an awesome feature that would be, it's one of the main things I look for when playing at a sportsbook is instant deposits and withdraws.. also

was wondering if you guys plan on adding other sports instead of just football?

Afaik other sports will be added in the future.

About instant deposits, the only problem could be double spends. Maybe if unconfirmed funds were only allowed on sports bets it might work.

Yet another good day for the gamblers as a certain player with a somewhat creative name pops in and wins a bunch after first having a painful loss

If two people get 9900x, will they split 1st and 2nd, giving them .75BTC or will it be decided by a bigger wager?
its decided by biger wager so if you hit with 100 sats and i hit with 200 sats im first.
regards.
-Katerniko1

exactly, the highest profit wins. You can always check the actual standing on the link mentioned in the OP. We will try to update it at least every day.

regards
Zoltan

But if two of the best bets both are 100 sats x9900 how will the prizes go then?

That's where the bet amount kicks in I think.
1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: 20 BTC investment into gambling site on: April 19, 2016, 01:33:05 PM
If you are willing to take the risk (which is huge with gambling investments), I would recommend BitDice. Of course it's for you to judge where to put your money. Atleast they are reputable and the site has proven to be trustworthy.

A few other examples:

BetKing.io
Moneypot.com
Bitvest.io

In general investing to a gambling site is risky business. You could win a lot in seconds but also a big winner could take a chunk of your investment also. Investing in anything is risky though so as long as you invest what you can afford everything should be fine. As for the positive opinions you were looking for, in terms of profit it's not really relevant as it's all based on randomness and people can usually only give opinion on their short-term profits/losses but as long as you find a trustworthy site the long-term profits should be positive.
