1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: May 13, 2022, 11:32:49 PM
Last game, Boston Celtics played well from their main scorers, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, up to their bench players and support players.

But even with that good performance and playing on their home crowd, they still blew their large lead and ended up losing. That's the mistake they did as returning to the Bucks arena, that will fuel up the Bucks more to now end the series.

I'm seeing the series will end tonight but who knows.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 12, 2022, 11:57:40 PM
To be honest, I expect we'll only see game 7 in the Celtics vs. Bucks series, while other teams will most likely finish the second round in 6 games.

Since I'm rooting for the Sixers and Mavericks to win their respective game tonight, I will contradict your statement by saying, there will be a Game 7 in both series. Smiley But honestly, I'm sure these teams that are currently downed at a 2-3 deficit will not just give up.

Game 6 is their decisive game and surely all the pressure to win is here.

I really hope both of these teams will even the series and force a Game 7.

1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 12, 2022, 11:50:26 PM
We cannot exactly know if Spence and Crawford did have some plans to have some fight but if they were in the talks in the past, maybe the reason why it haven't happen is because they don't agree with each other's terms and probably the purse cut as we know that Spence won't accept anything below 60%. Especially now that he defeated Ugas.

I think the situation is different now and there should be no problem now for Crawford to accept a much lower split. Spence deserves the 60/40 split based on the status of their revenue in their previous boxing matches. As Arum considered, Spence is the King of PPV, and the majority of Spence's PPV is blockbuster and sold out.

Crawford just needs to accept it since as soon as he beat Spence, then he can demand a much more split on his future fight.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 11, 2022, 11:57:49 PM
I'm really not seeing the Dallas Mavericks getting in the Finals this year, they sure have been good this season but I cannot help to say that they are now against a tough team who would still dominate any team despite being undermanned and now that they are back and healthy, it's really hard for Mavericks to beat the Suns.

But still, until we didn't see the result, Dallas Mavericks are still alive in the series.

Just a trivia, on this day, the Dallas Mavericks were able to even the series in Game 6 against Phoenix Suns in the 2006 Western Conference Finals. Later on, they won the Conference Championship and reach the Finals against the Miami Heat.

Maybe a repeat? Cheesy
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 11, 2022, 11:51:59 PM
But still he doesn't have that recognition that he deserves. Maybe if he can win via knock out here or maybe this fight turns out to be a brawl and Magsayo winning in the scorecard, maybe he will get the respect of the US audience just like what Pacman did years ago.

I don't understand the "Recognition that he deserves". What do we mean by here? Don't expect that it's an instant BIG NAME for him.

He was recognized surely after beating Gary Russell Jr. regardless of the status of this former champion when he fought it.

There are really questions but a win is a win and he did his best. Whether Magsayo struggles or not in that fight, if he's ended up as the winner, that's the most important thing. We just not realized it but he was recognized in that fight.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warriors vs Grizzlies 2nd round discussion on: May 11, 2022, 11:45:03 PM
I'm with the others that the Golden State Warriors might now finally end the series tonight. Grizzlies have no answer when Ja Morant is not playing.

But that's only my own view. Who knows if they can force a Game 6 after tonight's game. There are still chances that Grizzlies surprise us with the result.

To those who want to take the Grizzlies' Moneyline, the odds are attractive. The same goes for the point spread which is +5.5 but it should be a bit higher like +7.5 since the Warriors beats the Grizzlies last game without Morant and the latter will still play again with the same status tonight.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 11, 2022, 11:36:07 PM
There's an article I read yesterday that Canelo Alvarez shouldn't request or plan to go rematch with Dmitry Bivol.

One of the reasons is, that Bivol might put him again in another losing scenario.

What's your opinion here guys? What do you want to expect next for Canelo Alvarez?

a) A rematch against Dmitry Bivol
b) A trilogy with GGG (low chances for now because of Canelo's recent loss)

Both are projected to happen in September this year.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 10, 2022, 11:55:35 PM
but what do you think will be the odds here? i think, magsayo may be a lil bit favourite here as he is the title holder and vargas is a challenger. though we have seen the odds between canelo and bivol, where canelo is the heavy favourite even if he is the challenger, making bivol the underdog. so let's see what odds they will give on this match.

It should be Magsayo as a Favorite but I can't find a source yet. Much younger than 5 years than Vargas, currently in prime, undefeated, a champion, I know Vargas is a big name but Magsayo should be able to handle him contrary to what others are expecting.

Anyway, on that Canelo vs Bivol, the reason why Canelo becomes a favorite even as a challenger is because of the former's being an undisputed champion entering the light heavyweight compared to Bivol prior he faced Canelo, he is just doing a title defense.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 10, 2022, 11:42:13 PM
imagine the following:

if someone weighing 60 kg climbs on your body and you have to carry that person a few meters, let's say you carry that 60 kg person for a distance of 30 meters, would you be able to do this every day and hours? I don't think you could, so how would an animal like a horse not be too much of a strain on the animal by submitting such a person to it? The problem is that we are normalizing something cruel, athletes are not carrying weight, I would agree if horses just raced without them having to carry weight. but people don't want to do that, they want to enslave the animal in such an inhumane way and they are happy with that attitude

I have to admit that I was surprised and laughed a bit to see this kind of example.

Can't believe you compare our capability to horse capability in terms of carrying weight.

If we are 60kg, horses can't even feel our weight carrying at a distance of 30 meters. That was too easy for these horses as their body is naturally stronger than us. To add to that, these horses are carefully taken care of with lots of supplements and vitamins making them more strong. Do you think farm horses are the ones used in horse racing? Regardless, nothing will change the science behind it if we take your example.

In horse racing too, there is a weight limit for horse jockeys. As an owner, how can you make money on your horse if you put big loads on your horse? Smiley There's always a weigh-in before the race to ensure that horses can do a proper race.

And just for your information, racing horses are not working every hour. In my knowledge, it's only twice a day they are put into the race because obviously, why the owner will put their horses in heavy loads? These owners and operators are not dumb to put their horse in a situation like that since that's their investment. How can they make money in return if they will always tire their horses? Think, mate. Smiley
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 07, 2022, 10:46:01 AM
I have just learned right now that Dmitry Bivol is not allowed to carry the Russian flag in this match. I will now conclude that even singing their national anthem won't be allowed and everything that a boxer does in the ring represents their respective country.

Is this a form of unsportsmanship? I thought that was already settled since no sanctions were put on this match and the original title match remained.

Bivol has no choice then. Feel sorry for him but he should consider that as his fuel to fight aggressively with Canelo.
1751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top Crypto SportsBetting Sites For US Citizens Abroad? on: May 07, 2022, 10:10:15 AM
Are there crypto sportsbooks that do not have KYC or do they all do?  i have no issue with that but again im a us citizen so don't want any issue where a site kyc me and after i send in my usa id, well my utility bill is going to be a different country since well im abroad and you can see it from my ip address.

- Check the restricted countries - if allowed at your current location, then even if you are a US citizen, you can freely use the site.

- Check the KYC there - if you can play there without KYC then good.

- Check the part of mandatory KYC in the TOS - something like you will be asked for it in case of big wins.

What to do now? Just play around with something in an amount that is not alarming or will trigger their system.

MOST CRYPTO-SPORTSBOOK DON'T ASK FOR KYC but you have just to play within their terms.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 07, 2022, 09:55:15 AM
Yes correct, animals has their own feelings to and they can be hurt as well. For me this can be considered as animal cruelty, people enjoy watching their horses, camels etc races to be on the 1st place but then they didn't even know the practice that these animals are doing before their fight, they are suppose to be in the farm and other things not ont the track.

Not all horse breeds are fit on the farm. There's a right breed for farming and racing. What you see on the farm aren't those that use for racing.

Sorry but horse racing is a part of the ecosystem. It benefits humans too. If you are concerned about animal cruelty then be a vegetarian and don't eat meats. There are benefits that horse racing gives. Those cruelties are isolated cases that were punishable by law. If caught, these people will face the law.

There's no perfect industry in the first place that's why instead of banning those, strict regulations should be imposed.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 07, 2022, 08:56:16 AM
Green's contributions create that huge difference between these two teams, though it's Embiid's presence inside that collapse the defense outside and allow those shooters to throw and make those raining 3's. It's good to see Sixers playing like this.

They are the one who did show dominance both their defense and offense though Butler try to fight, but without the productions of Herro and Bam, they can't win it. Adjustments for the visiting team would be expected in the next upcoming games they need to play solid to avoid Sixers to gain that momentum.

Joel Embiid's presence really plays a big role. Even though he didn't meet his usual game average in that Game 3, his presence really lifts up the spirit and morale of his teammates. It's pretty not usual to see Miami Heat performing slow like that where almost the entire roster is not contributing.

But the Sixers should not rely on Embiid alone. They should be pumped regardless of whether Embiid is there or not. Just look at their recent game, they were able to win even though Embiid is low scoring. It means they can have that performance that can match the Miami Heat.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 07, 2022, 08:37:37 AM
You are right, Casimero is something special, I think there is a possibility of settling things, because his lawyer alleged very convincing things and arguments, I think this could help clarify, at least they are waiting for the answers in this case,

Do you mean the Casimero case of sauna? What things have to clarify there?

The event was Livestream by Casimero's camp and even the best lawyer in the world can't save Casimero's ass from that violating the British boxing terms.

All the evidence and proofs are clear as the sky.

in this case I cannot deny that I feel a little unmotivated for this fight, obviously one wants to see the best fights

I might be wrong but do you mean, Inoue vs Donaire is not a good fight for you as you want Casimero?

Better playback what happens in their first meetup that it needs a rematch. Maybe you just don't know much Donaire that's why you want Casimero for him. Casimero is even overrated. The way he is struggling to maintain his weight, how can he even match with a much more fit Naoya Inoue.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 07, 2022, 08:28:23 AM
Congrats to Dallas Mavericks, Finally Brunson showed up and bring his A game in the game.
Big win by the Dallas Mavericks, they bounce back strong and has dominated the Suns to get their 1st win in the series.

It was a low scoring game and I like the kind of defense Dallas used in this game.

Good balance for Suns but Mavs had a decent shooting percentage, especially for Brunson who scored 28 points in the game.

That's what the Mavericks community is waiting for, stepping up of some Mavericks players. They were able to slow down Chris Paul's offensive attack and limit him below his usual average. But the Suns still looking good at this game even though they were downed by a big lead, their overall contribution is good.

I want to know what happens to Spencer Dinwiddie. Maybe it's his first time in a pressure game. He is very non-consistent since the start of the playoffs. He needs to figure out what things he needs to do to help the Mavericks in every game.

Here's the latest story about the Slaughter-NorthPort drama:

NorthPort maximum offer to Slaughter submitted to PBA, says Marcial

I will highlight some of the notable statements from the article:

- PBA commissioner Willie Marcial bared on Friday that a multi-year NorthPort offer for Greg Slaughter that was submitted to the league office contained renumeration to the tune of the maximum P420,000 a month.

- Gregg talked to the Northport team manager about a contract extension in January. The manager said that they will get back to him but never heard back.

- NorthPort team manager responded that a contract offer was emailed and sent to Slaughter via courier on January 29. Tan also sent screen shots of the two communications as proof. Tan also claimed Slaughter demanded the 'highest PBA salary' which he said was beyond the league maximum of P420,000 a month.

- Slaughter said the NorthPort offer was only meant to keep the franchise's signing rights on the restricted free agent and the renumeration was "less than half of what Greg is currently being paid by NorthPort.

Let's wait for the next chapter of this event. There is clearly a misunderstanding here.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 07, 2022, 03:41:09 AM
i have the feeling that bookies will slightly favour vargas when it comes to odds. even if magsayo won the last fight, still not enough for him to have a very good edge on this match. this will test magsayo's boxing skills and not just wait for the time to KO an opponent. magsayo is younger but there were so many fights that proved that age doesn't matter inside the ring.

For bettors like me that looking forward to Magsayo winning the match, it will be an advantage for me if the bookies will favor Vargas to win the fight.

There is no way I will put a bet on Vargas even how strong he is and looked by the majority as the dominant fighter over Magsayo. I believe in Magsayo's skill and for sure, once they clash in the ring, there will be lots of adjustments that Magsayo will do.

I don't want to based on Magsayo's previous performance against Gary Russell and speculate what will happen in his next fight. That was not appropriate for me as a good basis to analyze the result of this match.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers - 2nd round (Let's discuss) on: May 07, 2022, 03:26:26 AM
Nice adjustment by the Philadelphia Sixers. Actually, Joel Embiid is still not on his usual form and average but good thing some of his teammates adjust in that game especially Tyrese Maxey and Danny Green. James Harden is also not on his usual average but his contribution is a plus.

It's not usual to see Miami Heat ending up in a low-scoring game which means Sixers did a great job slowing down their offense. If they maintained that performance, they might put again the Heat in that situation next game. However, it's very not common for the Heat to have a performance like that 2 times in a row so Sixers should just do their very best.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 07, 2022, 03:13:23 AM
@1.7 odds for Decision victory is worth placing a bet for Canelo Alvarez. I mean, that's "Canelo" and you won't see him getting odds like that regardless if it's a Win via Decision or Knock Out. However, since Bivol seems to be underrated, others might think that the match will end up in a KO victory by Canelo.

As per my own view without applying too much analysis, seems to me that Bivol can withstand Canelo until the 12th rounds.

Maybe a surprise too that Bivol can upset Canelo although the chances are really low in the eyes of the majority.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 06, 2022, 11:57:27 PM
Sixers - Heat game is about to start in less than minutes. And it looks like we still don't know anything about Embiid's final condition. Sixers must be begging for him to be able to play in this game. Because I believe that this is a crucial game in the series. Sixers must be winning this no matter what. Otherwise they will need to work incredibly hard to be able to turn the series around from 0-3. I expect Sixers to win this game.

There's no such thing, even in any team, that will beg for their superstar to play amid injuries lol.

Anyways, Joel Embiid is currently playing and as far as the current game progress, they are in the lead of over double-digit in the 2nd quarter.

If they will maintain that lead, we don't know. Looking good for the Sixers now.
