As expected, Napoli would lose but at least Real Madrid got the win.  Cheesy

After seeing the Raptors almost up 20 at one point I thought there was no way they'd lose but then somehow they lost momentum during the fourth quarter and missed one too many free throws (18/36).  Shocked
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 13, 2023, 12:49:31 AM
Maybe aside from that, they'll also ask you for an interview before able to deposit and that's like going to happen during the registration. These casinos understand that the more they ask a lot of things from their customers, the more that they're pushing away that money from them.
That's why it's important to get along what's the demand is asking them and not to ask customers more that aren't really needed unless it's an actual information that the regulators want them to have.
That's true when there's a casino that has stricter requirements then those gamblers would just simply switch to another that requires less as it's unlikely for every casino to have the same requirements when they're based in different countries.

There would still be gamblers that are willing to follow those requirements but the downside for the affected casinos might be too much and in exchange, it's going to limit their operations.

It's okay for Ancient Tribe to be at the top for week 1 since they've got 3 matches while for Team Secret, they've got 2. But later on, is the start of week 2 and we'll see Team Secret match against D2 Hustlers.
As for Old G, that's okay, the tournament has just started for them but they're approaching to the 2nd week and this is a serious tournament that shall bring 2 teams on this division 2 into division 1.
Now Team Secret just got their first loss from D2 Hustlers, after going up 1-0 they tried drafting around Armel's TA in game 2 but it didn't work as D2 Hustler's midlaner was just dominating Armel throughout the last two games.

With that shaky performance, they might get their second loss against Ancient Tribe and that could potentially stop their road to getting promoted back to Div 1. I hope they can bounce back and win against PuckChamp in their next series though so we'd get good odds for the Ancient Tribe series this weekend.

Well, I'm losing 1-0 to ralle14 because Halland can't shootout on target. The guy is scoring like a maniac and now when I need him to shoot more, he chokes. Well.... I hope I'll do better in the remaining of the week. I don't wanna lose now that I'm so close to finishing second in this first season.
I almost went over on the SOTs as well since I thought they won't give Bayern any chances at home but good thing that his average SOTs convinced me to go for the under.  Cheesy

NBA was a bit surprising yea, Lakers needed overtime as well. Now the more interesting games begin so more upsets are to be expected.
That Lakers vs Wolves game was so stressful to watch as both teams would take turns going hot and cold during the third and fourth quarter.  Tongue
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 03:13:08 PM
In my opinion this term is unfair. I am not attacking any specific casino, but I do believe that if users were aware of these requirements they would be less likely to deposit their money in such casinos since there are other casinos without such stringent requirements.
You're right that it's unfair as other casinos would offer a similar bonus but with a reduced wagering requirement.

On top of that, casinos recently added a maximum win limit iirc so even if you're lucky enough and hit something big to clear the wagering requirement you might not be able to withdraw everything due to that limit.

That bonus used to be more common back then but at least now a lot of casinos have been switching to VIP rewards that are given based on your weekly, monthly, and overall activity.

The casino is able to put whatever requirements they wish on their bonuses and deposits. We don't have to agree with them and we can choose to play elsewhere, but IMO a 5x wager requirement on a deposit is very bad for players. They're not scamming by having these terms, they're just a casino that's very hard to win on with these terms.
I agree, with that discouraging requirement it's only going to hinder their success when other casinos have 1x deposit rollover at best.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 12, 2023, 12:33:37 AM
-Do you personally take part in lotteries by online casinos?
-Do you track the progress and results of such campaigns?
-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?
It depends on what kind of lotteries, if they are free to join then i'll most likely participate whenever I see them. If it's the regular lottery where you gain tickets by wagering a specific amount then i'll give it a try but I wouldn't participate regularly though.

I'd always track the progress, even though i'm unlikely to win one of the prizes it's still good to know how the results went down in the end.

If there's one change that i'd suggest with lotteries in order to make them more exciting then i'd put a limit on the tickets they can gather so that every participant has the same opportunity to win. For me, it becomes less exciting when the lottery is just filled with tickets from the high rollers.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 12, 2023, 12:01:58 AM
Have you experienced tilt over the long game?  How have you dealt with it?  How do you think you can gamble with a cool head, and how do you make yourself a good brake inside)
I've been through that point several times and for me, the best way to stop that tilt is to take gambling less seriously up to the point that you start to care less about the results and treat it as a way to kill some time instead of earning money.

Once you've done countless gambling sessions you'll start to get used to the same losing situation like it's a regular day, the longer you spend time on it the easier you can control it because you already know what's likely going to happen.

Dreamleague today and we have some strong pairs in early slot. My bet is going on draws in EG vs. Shopify and Aster vs. TSM.
Nice call on both draws, unfortunately, I missed out but i'm surprised SR is doing well even without Abed and most teams are fine with a draw while Team Liquid is sweeping through most of their series.

IMO, if Puppey was replaced, Team Secret would be even worse.
Yup, it's not that easy to find a captain that would be as good as Puppey and I agree Team Secret might be in a worse position if they don't have Puppey who can pick up good players like they always used to in their previous rosters.

The deadline is approaching and a lot of you did not submit your answers yet.
Thanks for the second tag, I almost forgot to submit my predictions.  Cheesy

The NBA play-ins question made me spend a lot of time thinking but on the bright side, most of the questions seem easier to answer this round.

I'm up against ralle14 who won last round. Don't make it two in a row, please Grin
My average points these past few rounds have been very low though so I don't think you should be worried unless luck is on my side this week.   Grin
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 11, 2023, 03:07:23 AM
One might think that Team Secret will easily dominate Division 2, but I see that have good competition there. Ancient Tribe is currently leading the group with 3 wins. They even swept Old G in their match, and it is a quick match as well. I think this team will give Team Secret a headache when they meet each other this weekend.

I expected Old G to come on top of Division 2 but they are slowly slipping. They are beaten by unknown teams. Are they not that strong that they can't get out of Division 2?
If Team Secret can hold out against D2 Hustlers tomorrow then we might see them possibly handing Ancient Tribe their first loss.

Old G is still good enough but the region is simply stacked even in Division 2 and last tour there were three teams (Alliance, D2 Hustlers, and Monaspa) that had to fight for the last Div 1 promotion.

Testing my luck on the LPL Playoffs later today, this matchup might look like a toss-up but i'll take BLG over EDG since BLG got two maps out of JDG while EDG got none during the semi-finals.

1751  Other / Archival / Re: HEY GUYS, WHICH CASINOS YOU HAVE SEEN, THAT HAVE THE '' TOWER '' GAME ???? on: April 11, 2023, 02:14:01 AM
I'd suggest BitKong.com they're one of the few casinos that started out with just the tower game years back before it got popular. At first, I thought that was from bitkong as they had a similar design to their tower game.

To save a few clicks here's the direct link to their tower game.

How do you think the game 2048 is suitable for gambling in casinos? Before I started playing in casinos, in my free time I played 2048, I somehow think that in casinos this game will be a success, the game should be with a cashout.  What do you think about it? Huh
If it has a cashout option then we could see the game being similar to Mines so you can play each round cautiously but it still lacks an extra feature or mechanic that would give the casino an edge.

If there's no way to add any changes to the game then having it as a PVP game would be the only option but it's better we avoid that direction because most gamblers aren't interested in playing PVP and it's not easy to make the PVP games successful.

Also don't need to know how many slots per rank either imo, as Mitchell pointed out that seems like a lot of necessary effort.

The above would be a lot simpler and wouldn't change that often. Just a suggestion.
That seems better compared to Maus0728's attempt (no offense), adding several columns to indicate the slot per rank makes it look cluttered compared to having one column as a whole.

I'm down to add one of them but I prefer we keep it simple though.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 10, 2023, 02:50:07 AM
Just like what the OLD G is doing? Though OLD G is still young and still very competitive. Maybe we will only see them play together in exhibition matches but I do not think we will see them in any DPC tournaments. They retired for a reason and they already have a good run.
We can only hope their fire for playing competitively comes back sometime in the future because those pro players who retired in the CN region already have successful streaming careers. It is also slowly becoming a trend in other esports titles like Valorant and League where some pro players would switch to streaming as they can gain more income there compared to competing at tournaments.

Also, ATF recently got moved to the inactive roster of Nigma Galaxy and Miracle is standing in for the DreamLeague tournament.

Just when I thought Pereira was starting to heat up in round 2 Adesanya found the perfect opportunity to counter for the knockout.

Congrats to you guys who took Adesanya, even though I lost my bet on Pereira and my prediction on the BSFL cup, I still enjoyed that and hoping for a third fight.  Cheesy
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 10, 2023, 12:35:12 AM
But one comes in mind that I can't get rid of, those that Rigged their games, I don't know if people actually know that some online casinos Rigged their games, like the Aztec casino that was labeled a scam casino for example.

My question is how can one know that their game is rigged? If you play over 20 games and you lose it all, no one will believe you if you say that their is something wrong with the platform because truthfully as a gambler you have to lose, so what way can you actually know that a casino game is been rigged?
As long as they're not from any game providers and there's a way to verify the game manually then it's possible to see and confirm if they're rigged or not.

You'll need some proof to back it up so if the casino won't provide the necessary details to verify the bet then you just have to take their word for it or avoid the game on your own.

I remember the case of luckygames back then as they tried to rig their games due to one of their winning players.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 10, 2023, 12:03:34 AM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.
It wouldn't hurt to find the best strategy while gambling because there are strategies that have different purposes like for example if you're participating in a wagering contest you'll use the highest win probability in every roll so you can efficiently accumulate wager amounts with fewer losing rolls. I'd still recommend using the best strategy that we know even though strategies overall won't be enough to help any gambler win when most if not all games rely on a lot of luck.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 09, 2023, 12:47:16 AM
Even though I can't tip dealers in crypto casinos, there were a couple of moments where I wanted to tip the dealer as he/she made the rounds more enjoyable than usual.

For me, the only time i'll tip anything aside from money is when I have something valuable on me and they have a maximum limit when it comes to tips. Looking at the dealer's perspective it's more convenient when they get their tips in cash.

Phew, Tottenham got the hard win against Brighton, after the first half I surely thought it'll end in a draw but they actually got a goal late in the second half, now I just need Man City to claim my second point in a row.  Cheesy

I don't trust my prediction on the Juventus question but it'd be impressive if I hit it somehow though as I expect Juventus to pull away with a win.
