1741  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: January 18, 2017, 12:21:33 AM
Well, if you missed the $750 price levels then you're kind of too late. But it still remains profitable even if you buy at $900 levels, though you wouldn't profit as good as if you bought at lower prices. Maybe it will even reach the $1,000 levels in a few days, let's hope it does. Then it will stabilize at $1,000.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: January 17, 2017, 03:40:27 PM
It will not happen any time soon, the EUR might fall tho

In my opinion , if one of the main currencies is ever going to fall it is going to be the GBP.

The fact that Great Britian are going to leave the European Union is not doing good for the currency, and it may reflect the price to be even smaller than the euro.

Anyway, it's just my opinion and I am not good at all of those details Cheesy

Indeed, Great Britain did not even consider how much GDP and other economic benefits it has achieved with it's alliance with the EU. Now that they are leaving, that would probably cause them problems regards economic ties, labor price increase and decrease in the labor force. That would be probably a downfall of the GBP.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Is Now Moving Up on: January 17, 2017, 03:18:26 PM
no reason for btc to raise this much overnight.
probably a bubble.it should be aroun 790-810
It is a strange occurence for no apparent reason behind it.
It is strange indeed! Wink

It's just a market reaction to the sudden drop or what we all call the correction of it's price. Like a rubber band, the price was stretched to much when it reached $1,100 and because of that it sling shot down due to mass chaos of the price dropping. Now it is slowly going back to it's original shape and would stabilize at this price, probably.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: January 17, 2017, 03:08:50 PM
I don't trust all these HYIP websites and I'm looking for a more reliable way to invest.
Any suggestions?

If you have time, have ideas, are expert in something connected with bitcoin, you can earn some bitcoins join signature campaigns. Go to the section "services" of this forum and there you can find to many sites which pay if you put their publicity as a signature in your profile. The bitcoin earned are few but not nothing. You must have fun doing posts and read the posts of the others to discuss about the matters they write otherwise you will find very hard to do this "job".

This is not an investment or a way to invest but a way to learn more about bitcoin and to earn some bitcoin. Maybe you can have interest about it in the free time.
Well said I was about to type that he/she should try to apply in some signature campaigns it would be fun to read and to answer some of the other peoples question, and also a great way to earn some bitcoin, but if you does not trust any HYIP sites why don't you try in trading some alt-coin.

I really hate HYIP's too much and that's why I'm fighting against them and doesn't promote it for they are scam. Getting yourself engage in trading is also a good way to invest and grow your bitcoins. I can suggest also that you can do some buying and selling of digital or physical goods. This is also a good way of investing your bitcoins.

I also hate HYIPs. This leads to a loss of money almost always. I just safer to buy Bitcoins for dollars, which I get from my work. This is the only source of the most reliable

Depends if you are the ones that get scammed, for sure you'd hate it so much. HYIP owners love the shit out of it. It's really a non-productive activity that has to be eradicated. It would really be hard to eradicate since there are lazy people in the world. Hyip owners are lazy workers and gullible people who invests in there are also lazy people since they want quick and easy money.

On OP's first argument, you're the one that's an idiot here. Without a government you will not have the freedom to do anything really. Governments bring order and society to establish. Without one there would be utter chaos and nothing will be established. Regards, the other points, I think they are correct.
1746  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Swag - Apparel, Poker Chips, Hardware, Art - Premium Quality on: January 17, 2017, 02:41:26 PM

wow! Absolutely beautiful watches! The Bitcoin store is becoming a great one-stop shop for Bitcoin goods! Great work

Oh my god, that's an amazing watch! I hope they can like put some sort of engraving to put your public key there. That would be nice. But overall that is one slick watch! It's a bit expensive though. That's worth a nice branded watch already. But maybe it's worth the craftsmanship of the watch, I'm not sure.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 02:33:25 PM
Actually if bitcoin is being used in paying something just like what you've mentioned, I think they should use what those that are selling digital goods, as soon as you click the send button, after few seconds, it will immediately prompt that you are paid already. Seriously it's a problem if you are paying on a establishment that has a cashier who do not have knowledge about bitcoin.

Well most physical establishments that have cashiers do not accept bitcoins yet. So that's a problem in the physical world. However in the digital world there are quite a lot of stores accepting it already. A lot of hosting, VPNs, anti-viruses, etc are already accepting btc. I think microsoft too, I forgot if they do. I also saw Dell offer BTC as their payment method.
1748  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: January 13, 2017, 08:38:12 AM
I think it would still be skill-based gambling. It is still gambling and you still rely on chance. If you're talking about poker, then there are still chances that the cards will never favor you throughout the game. In trading, you can remove some of the risks and increase your chances of earning if you put some effort in studying the assets you plan to buy. However, if you are just merely trading based on indicators, then that is a gamble which is similar to skill-based gambling already.

1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: January 13, 2017, 08:14:04 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

I have never done this ever. I never have gambled away money that's not mine. However, I have gambled money that was intended for another purpose. I gambled away half of my year's allowance and money intended for tuition fees. I couldn't say it was technically mine, but it was in my possession. So that's not like borrowing money from another then gambling it or close to that.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You can now watch e-sport streams on onehash.com on: January 13, 2017, 07:43:10 AM
Checked out the link and saw that you're streaming it via twitch. I am not familiar with onehash yet, but do you offer live betting on these e-game streams? Like will there be a dynamic odds that will show up below the stream as the game is on going. For example, "which team would get first blood?" or a live odds similar to NBA.

hi devs this project sounds cool. i would like to participate in beta testing and whatever promotions you have for players. how do i join? i cant find website address on your OP? best of luck to your project!
I think it sounds cool too. I heard of this before but only as recommendations and like a dream dice project. Now it's coming to life! I would really love to play this once it goes live. I don't think they have released the website address yet, so I think we can't see it yet until they officially launch the site.

Notice : Do not send your money from any online wallet , we only accept Blockchain wallet.
What are you saying  Roll Eyes why you can't accept bitcoin from other wallets, this shows how much knowledge you have on how bitcoin actually works  Grin

When the timer ends , our site’s algorithm will generate three random numbers. If these numbers matches with the last
two number of your TX-ID then you are the winner.
Which algorithm you will be using? And how we can be sure that you will not select your own bitcoin address as lottery winner  Huh

I think it is because they would be sending back the prize to the same wallet. So if someone wins and that person used an online wallet and sends bitcoins using that online wallet for sure the address would be an address he has no control off. Unlike if he is using, for example, electrum wallet to send the btc. When he wins, the site send the money back to his addy he used to send.

I know players can't use coinbase, xapo, exchange wallet..
but can use blockchain-info

Yes, this is correct. Because blockchain-info is different from other online wallets. This wallet allows their users to have a wallet they can control every address but the problem with it is that blockchain-info still has control over all your private keys. Well that is another matter. Point is you can use blockchain-info address in this kind of gambling site.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you list Dice strategies other than martingale? on: January 12, 2017, 07:00:22 AM
i don't know the name of the strategies because i think my strategies is not good enough to used by other people as i see that my chance is not be good as other people. i think from many of strategies that we know, its better for us to find or make a new strategy that will work only for us.

All strategies are shit, period! There are no strategy that will win in the end no matter what. I've tried almost everything and played my bets safe. For example, I gambled 10mbtc and used martingale at 1 satoshi per bet. In the end, probably after four days of continuously gambling, it still lost everything, even the 10mbtc. I tried others and it all resulted the same way. I am guessing yours will be no different.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: January 12, 2017, 06:39:36 AM
I never use bonuses or cashbacks because there are always some strange hidden terms and conditions with most bonus.

Yeah definitely. Most of the bonuses have absolutely ridiculous terms and wagering requirements which makes them completely irrelevant if you are trying to make a quick buck or two. It might sound lucrative at first but if you look into the fine prints then you will quickly realise that it's not the best deal.

The cashbacks though if done through a reputable site, sometimes they also call it loyalty points, is actually a pretty good tool for profit because there is no wagering requirement and basically the more you wager the more you can get in loyalty points.
Well that's the point of cashback that there are no hidden, ain't it?
At least we do not have any at Oshi - cashback is meant for people who dont wanna study terms and care about wagering etc

While it is nice that there are cashbacks, it's better than nothing. I think it's still kind of useless, as it's just really low. I don't even realize I have it. Indeed you can compare it to loyalty points as it just like less than 0.1% of the purchase. So I don't really care anymore about it.

1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you list Dice strategies other than martingale? on: January 11, 2017, 03:09:11 AM
there are many betting strategies, you can find a good list here, for example:
https://www.gamblingsites.com/systems-strategies/

Just like what is quoted on that blog.

Code:
There is no system that will guarantee winnings in the casino.

I did martingale for somehow at first it became very effective to me. But I really can't rely on that single strategy and most of the time when I play with dice I just go along with the flow. If I lose, I will bet again and if I win, I won't get satisfied immediately so I will dice again until I have nothing anymore. Sometimes I just play yolo  Grin

Yolo betting is really much more fun than any gambling system or strategy. I yolo bet on bitsler and made 300 satoshi to 5mbtc. It's just a matter of luck anyway, so why not just go have fun with it. You will never end up winning using a strategy that is guaranteed. The more you play that better chances of you losing, so just play for fun!
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 11, 2017, 03:03:58 AM
If you are just playing to entertain yourself than its ok but if you try to put whatever you have in gambling than you should feel shame about your gambling habit.
Yes I agree. If you play just for fun then that's fine but make sure to limit your betting otherwise if you continue to lose then you will lose a lot of money in the end and it would be shameful for you if that happen.

Lol how can it be shameful when you are just playing for fun?  It would be if you are too serious and at the end of the roll, you lost a big amount.  Playing for fun is more likely spending your money for entertainment.  And since everyone is spending their money if they want to be entertained, there is no reason to be ashamed if you lose or not that money.
You have a right point suppose if a person have some money which he have for entertainment only in his budget then if he spend these money n gambling then it will not be shameful for him because he will not lose much money and in bitcoin no one will know that he is gambling.

The problem is that he is stilling hiding his gambling activities from everyone even his family. That is shame right there. He keeps on hiding it because his fears that he will be judged, so how was that not feeling shameful? I would believe that to feel better, we should not hide our gambling activities. We should not feel ashamed of it.
If gambling is not a big deal to us them just tell our family if they will ask but if not then we can just keep it to ourselves. It's not an issue to be a gambler because we all know it's just an entertainment and as a person who dream to be happy living in this world we deserve to enjoy in everything we do as long as it does not cause trouble to others.
That's a good tip, if no one asks just keep to yourself and don't go on telling everybody. Though not everybody is gambling for fun, some gamblers try their luck and think that they could make a living out of gambling and in the end they lose everything and in the end they are bankrupt. I think these are the people that should be ashamed of themselves.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: January 11, 2017, 02:36:05 AM
Hi guys!
Nearly every online bitcoin casino offers many many bonuses such as free spins, deposit bonuses etc. Many casinos (for example Oshi) offer you a choice whether you want to use bonuses or get cashback from your losses. My question is which of those option do you prefer and benefit from? Why?
Let us all know Smiley
I think the cashback and bonus have the same meaning but if you mean is bonus free spins i prefer cashback. better chose both

I think cashback is similar to rake back, where you get a portion of the money you lost or where you lost an accumulated amount of money the casino would give you some money back. Typically a small amount every time, like around 1-5% of your total losses. Bonuses are when you deposit and get some more money you can play with, however the terms before you get that free money are really hard to do.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 11, 2017, 02:19:39 AM
For me, gambling is needs, I can't live without gambling. if there is no money I Will going to sell any order so money, if a lot of money I will put to investment and gambling. might seem extreme, but that's what I do.

You're a real risk taker, and a high risk taker at that. Some would call it addiction if you can't control your gambling problem. Just don't waste everything on gambling, gamble only what you can afford to lose. The line is over used here, but it's really a good advice to anyone gambling be it small bets or high roller bets.
