1741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: March 13, 2023, 08:36:09 PM
I don't think we should expect any serious growth in March, because usually March is not the strongest month for bitcoin. The main events will probably unfold in April 2023. The U.S. government may turn on the "printing press" again to solve the problem with the banks and may finish raising rates.
March-April and it wont really be that a good month but there's no assurance to that because despite of the negative fundamentals or news around but still we do able to see on whats the current market condition which is already becoming that green but of course it is really just that a normal day considering that if ever there's a correction here comes the recovery and this isnt something a shocking thing.

Also, lots of people or most of the community does really expect about the bull run happens on before or after of the halving event of Bitcoin which it might be the catalyst for such event.
Somehow there's no assurance that it might happen on that particular time but rather it could happen also on earlier timeframe too which it is really that hard to predict
on what lies ahead.
1742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: March 13, 2023, 07:31:50 PM
Very important one as gambling addiction is spreading more and more.

Only bet what you can afford to lose.

Not sure if this one had been posted already but it's a good reminder not to fall into false hope of getting rich from gambling.

It should always be just a fun activity and not develop into something else.

This is the golden rule of gambling. Don't bet the money that you can't afford to lose, but many gamblers forgot this resulting to huge losses, debt and worst addiction. I experienced to become out of control as a gambler and it take me months to overcome the addiction with professional help and of course with my family by my side.

The reason why even I returned from being a gambler again, I know my limitation now because the past experiences gave me a lesson of the importance of having discipline and self-control.
If you cant follow this rule then you shouldn't be dealing with gambling at all because this is always a matter of losing and its just really like a default thing, if you are that someone who cant really afford on losing then gambling activity isnt really for you. These qoutes are words which would really be opening someones awareness about the reality but there are ones who do really misses out  or just simply ignore it.
On the time that they are really that making theirselves fall out into such scenario or condition then this is where regret do starts.Lots of positive ones and real talks which you could really make it as a reference if ever you are really just starting up with the gambling field or simply having making use of your own common sense would really suffice out.
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 13, 2023, 06:58:33 PM
I have always wanted to ask this question is it that there is no opportunity or they do not want to get rich
Mate please more to this I am confused here.
Who doesnt really want to get themselves being rich or have those hopes or likes or plans on getting rich or improve out their lviing? None right?
It is really just that these people cant able to do so due to several factors.

1. Lack of financial capacity on starting up an investment
2. Lack of knowledge
3. Just been contented on where they are
4. Doesnt really see out potential oppprtunities

If you are an individual on whose do have these kind of hindrances then its not really that shocking on why you are still that poor.
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 12, 2023, 11:49:02 PM
This is where some bettors do really think off about on having that sure win bet which we know that as long there's a chance of losing no matter how small it would be or how less the risks it would be but still there's a chance for it to be hit up.This is why its never been that recommendable on having that all-in type of bet which it would really bring up a disaster if ever the bet do lost.
1.01 or less doesnt guaranteed out on sure win. This is why you should only bet on the amount you can afford to lose.Dont really take the risks on having huge bet unless if it was really that intended for that particular game and you are accepting that you could potentially lost that game. We are talking millions here which is something that most people cant afford on losing.
They have to change their minds that placing bets can help them win, but if there is no good analysis to find out which team has a better chance of winning than the opposing team, it will be difficult for us to win.

And I agree with only betting the amount we can afford because that is what we should do with all the bets we place. The risk of betting big money is losing all of it quickly, which is not a great way to enjoy gambling. But maybe it's still used for some people who gamble because they hope they can win a lot of money. And that person may be a millionaire willing to lose money at the gambling table.
This is why self research and analysis would really be that relevant whenever you do make out bets because this would really be that important. The thing on where most bettors do is that they do stick on which

one is the favorite and forgetting on what are those reconsiderations when choosing up a team/fighter/player.If you do make out huge bets without thinking up about the risks probabilities then you would definitely finding yourself on a great disaster. This is why you should always be mindful on how you do make out bets and the amount you are really that able to afford to lose.
1.01 doesnt assure everything because even on the slimmest chance,  you could really lost up big time.
1745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: March 12, 2023, 10:15:26 PM
Holding could be always better for everyone at the time of bearish season. But in this case we have to be careful to choose coins, because holding will always be profitable when we select the right coin. If you don't select good coins, it won't take long to lose against profitable ones. Bitcoin will be the best option for holding especially in this bear market.  Currently, it is about 3x below its all-time high, so it is expected that the futures can touch a good price along with its recovery. So I would again say holding always later for the bearish market.
Holding is important or you would be ending up on being a holder specially when your coins are on negative or specially if you do have an open spot order which is on negative. There's no sense on closing up your

position and considered for it to be a lost totally since you could really still hold and wait up for the market recovery or simply its just a paper loss.If you arent that sure when it comes to your trading decisions
or really boggled up your mind that it might really be ending up on a bad decision then just like been said that it would really be just right that you should really hold it up rather than on making some action.
It wont really be not necessary and dont make yourself in a hurry on making decisions because it would really be causing errors and mistakes eventually.
1746  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: March 12, 2023, 03:04:22 PM
If we cannot expect a bull run this year, then it is likely that next year will be the year. Based on the history of Bitcoin, there has always been good news after every Bitcoin halving, and the next halving is scheduled for next year.

We can use this countdown if we want to monitor. https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/halving/
Majority of the rumors on which the bull run is in between Q4 of 2024 and Q1 of 2025 but those are just possible assumptions which we dont really know if it would happen or not. This is why when it comes to investment decisions then it do always falls down into your own preference on which no other people would really be the ones would be forcing you on what you should gonna do. I do prefer on having btc in deep or moving sideways for next six months so that i would be able to accumulate as much as i could before the bull run time comes. This might be a thing on where most people might be freaking out
but to consider about the chances or opportunities that it gives then to those risk takers would be seeing this as a good thing rather than on negative ones.
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 11, 2023, 11:53:00 PM

Well, as I said in some of the previous posts. that the man we are discussing in this thread, knows very well every risk he will accept if what he is betting on is not what he expected. if we point at low odds with @1.01, then the probability or percentage to win is very high.

Only, the problem is that this man bet the fantastic amount of $ 1.4 million. many of us, argue that the profits earned are not in accordance with the capital at stake. but, this is gambling. that the bookies only provide the available odds. the rest, we as gamblers choose and determine it. in this case, the gambler seems to have great confidence that he will win his bet. reasonable, because considering the available odds have a high probability of winning. Unfortunately, this man was having such an unlucky day that in fact, he lost his bet.
Well I will like to correct a notion here from personal experience, lower odds doesn't translate into sure winning and that is what trick ops into gambling with such a high amount of thinking because the odds of the bet stand at 1.01 makes it a sure game to win and he filtered away a whopping 1.4 million in a bet.

-This is not the best condition for oos right now and I hope we all learn from this event not to rely on the odds to make our game selections.

This is where some bettors do really think off about on having that sure win bet which we know that as long there's a chance of losing no matter how small it would be or how less the risks it would be but still

there's a chance for it to be hit up.This is why its never been that recommendable on having that all-in type of bet which it would really bring up a disaster if ever the bet do lost.

1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 11, 2023, 10:50:18 PM
Anyway, let's assume that they really are scamming you guys then I think you should create a scam accusation to make them known here in Bitcointalk and people will know about their scheme of scamming people off of their money and we can avoid it right away unlike not knowing that they are scammers. You can help that way by creating scam accusation thread and to avoid having more victims. It is important to know if it's a legitimate casino or not and through SAT (scam acu thread) make people aware of it.
But on the time you do make out some thread about accusations then you should be sure on providing solid evidences because if you do really just make out some post basing up with some hunches then you would be ending up on getting ignored because you would be treated for some troll. This is why on the time that you would really be making out some claims that they are cheating then be sure that you
do really give out those solid proofs or else you would really be bashed.

We cant really make out some conclusions until its proven. If you do have hunches on being cheated or not fair then try to prove out, if failed then dont bother on
opening accusations in towards a particular site.
Each case regarding allegations must have specific explanations and concrete evidence that can be used as a review for the assessment of the casino site, so if it's just an assumption then you can't say they have deceived us.

So I agree with you, that we shouldn't waste our minds on vague accusations because many trolls accuse popular casino sites with unclear explanations and have no proof of accusations.
And we know that competition is really high when it comes to gambling industry on which there are really instances where trolls made out some false accusations just to make a certain gambling site or platform
looks bad and this is their primary motive and this is why it is really that important that we should really know how to differentiate in between legit accusations into those trolling or not real ones.
It is really just hard to believe that known gambling sites would really be doing such foolish things considering that they are running a long term business and not short ones.
They cant just afford on having those shady acts behind because they do know that it would really be over for their business if they would really be running on that way.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto or Forex? on: March 11, 2023, 09:51:58 PM
Hello,
What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Crypto and Forex? Why should anyone choose Crypto over Forex?

Thank you.

Crypto

- Volatile
- Decentralize
- Not totally regulated
- Decent profits but higher risks

Forex

- Dealing up with currencies
- Less volatile = less risk
- Less risk = less profits
- Regulated market

If you do choose up then you could actually have both but this would really be requiring
that proper time management because we know that technical indicators isnt everything on which news and other fundamentals
could significantly affect the movement and  this should really be bare up on our minds.

1751  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 11, 2023, 08:50:55 PM
In some conversations that I have had with some rich people who are old, they most times always say that they invested in real estate and that was how they made some fortune. Young people understand that investing is key and paramount to securing a better future like these Old rich men did then, But the question now is what exactly to invest in for young people. Is it wise to follow in the steps of the old rich men who had investments in Real Estate, or do they completely now invest in cryptocurrency? The answer is sometimes traced to the one that offers the lowest risk and loss of capital.

The less riskier from Real Estate and cryptocurrency is Real Estate, but less risk,, less reward. The risk that come with the higher volatility of cryptocurrency makes the profit that can be gotten bigger. Will you go for less risk, or big profit?

Real estate success isnt something that anyone could make out guarantees but i do agree into that point that it is less riskier considering that this is exempt when it comes to inflation, considering that properties

do really appreciates overtime but of course it would be depending on where it is located. Also, we know that someone couldnt really just be that able to deal up with real estates, why? The capital you would really be needing is no joke unlike when you do deal up with other investment ex. crypto on which you could really purchase out some coins on small numbers or in fraction which means it is less
on amount. In choosing in between then its up to your own choice but if you do have the financial capacity then having both is really that recommendable.
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: March 10, 2023, 11:37:15 PM
Currently we offer level-up bonuses for our VIP and rakeback. However, due to popular demand, we are looking to implement weekly and monthly bonuses as well. Do you guys happen to have any recommendations for a formula we should use in determining what an appropriate weekly/monthly bonus should be?

We would love to hear feedback from all bitcointalk members!

Hope you guys have an awesome and safe New Years! Smiley

-Punt Management
if you want or can pick a lucky user using raffle or any kind of draw and reward the user but it is not that effective in my opinion from casino's perspective.
I personal don't think the idea of a raffle draw would be a great idea and this is because raffles are not targeted on worthy customers but is just something based on luck for a customer. I don't know if you get what I mean, like with raffles customers may not be motivated to actively make streaks of wagers since the standard for getting bonuses is rather through raffle and not based on how many wager or how active you are in a week or month.
Or this would really just simply make those big wagerers lost up interest because they do know that the odds on winning is less even how much they had wagered out since this would fall down on a lottery or

raffle game which even to those small time players could possibly be able to hit up those bonuses or winnings.Yes, on the other side it would really be hooking up those small time players on playing but we know that on a gambling platform business then the ones you should really be focused on or to protect on is on how to hold those big time players on which they wont really be flocking away into other place.
This means that it would really be significantly affecting in overall revenue but its up actually on how you would really be able to handle it out.
1753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else agree that mtgox payout is keeping bitcoin down? on: March 10, 2023, 11:23:07 PM
There are a lot of things that impact the downtrend of the market price but believe it or not, there's nothing you can do about the Mt Gox payout leading to the market bearish than making use of the advantage it presented the people who have their Bitcoin stuck to the Mt Gox have to get their funds back sooner or later.
It will look inappropriate if we will tell Mt.gox to cancel the move that they are planning and the creditors will be angry with us. If we are on their side, we will also be excited to get our Bitcoins. Bear market is an advantage but maybe not for the OP because he may be done filling his bags and badly want's to see a real bull run right now.
If we put ourselves in the shoes of the issue victims. It's not that it will look inappropriate because it is actually inappropriate to say Mt Gox not to disburse the Bitcoin to the rightful owner because it will somehow impact the market price. Besides, the bearish market is not over from my own impression about the Q1 of every correction market since the 4 cycle is yet to be complete.
Whether this Mt.Gox funds been given or not we cant inevitably able to avoid if we do speak about those bearish market cycle which same as you said which is actually true.Whether there's fundamentals around

or not but still we do experience out this bear market which it isnt really that shocking anymore.Despite on making yourself getting panicked it would be wise or better if you do
do really take out advantage on buying cheap coins as of this moment as it is really that on fire sale.

You could really be able to make advantage with the current price condition that we do have.Dont make yourself panic because this is how this market do behaves.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 10, 2023, 10:23:43 PM
.
Nevertheless I was thinking if there could be a thread under the Economy board created separately for casinos review ( all casinos registered here) with star ratings whereby members could also take part in the ratings for casinos and their performance which would make them seat up doing things right. This would make all registered casinos and their various representatives onboard this platform to doing their work diligently in responding to customers and being active here.  However, if a casino fails to doing or resolving issues between a member and them and consecutively, such casino is being reported here and after much deliberation on the scam accusations board or reputation with no fruitful result, hence there is every possibility of blacklisting such casino by high rank DT1 and DT2 members after they have put efforts to resolving the issues but the casino fails to resolve.
That's a brilliant idea you just suggested O.P, and I see it as a medium by which forum members are given the privilege to share their personal experiences from each of the various casinos we have here on this forum. Because just as we have "scam accusation" sub board of the forum where members share scam experience, for me I see this board as an avenue to people to share both positive and negative experience from any of the forum casinos.  As a way to give casinos clue on the various areas, they need to improve more on.
Even though the suggestion looks great I don't think the admin will consider doing something like that creating of board used to follow procedure and having a volatile market such as a gambling review board will give rise to a new wave of a scam which the entire forum will be taken by surprise.

Members of the forum may become supportive to scam casinos here in the forum and help to make some positive reviews that could easily deceive newbies.
Considering that this forum is composed of legit members or to those newly created scammy accounts which are intended for scamming purposes on which they could create as much as they could and make out

with those fake feedbacks which could cause up some deceptive approach on a particular project that had been posted and this is why its never been that ideal nor really much needed on having that board.
Just like some people been saying that this board alone would really be that sufficient since we could be able to check out with their own dedicated ANN threads if ever you are really that interested on a certain casino.Since people or members of this forum could easily make out some post and feedback basing up with their real experience which the masses could be able to read up.
1755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 10, 2023, 09:59:31 PM
there is no to late, you can try in any situation and can learn from that.
I also just joined crypto in 2018 and learned many things from airdrop bounty trading and others.so you can start from anytime you know.

There’s always time to learn, and buy crypto remember that we are still far from mass adoption so you can expect that many are still not into crypto but I’m sure later on, they will ask the same question as well. Crypto market today is going down, you might have a good chance now to buy at a cheaper price, so don’t let this opportunity pass again, grab it now and see its true worth especially the good projects and coins.
Exactly!
It is not too late, the crypto market is going down and the next opportunities are going to happen for newcomers. When crypto enthusiasts talk about the $100k market price predictions, I know it is time to sell BTC and wait for the end of a bear market. Market psychology and sentimental analysis methods help traders to analyze market conditions before taking any trade position, learning all peak points will make OP a professional trader one day. As explained before, it is not late since mass adoption is not at desired level yet.
There's no such thing about being late because just like you've said that volatility do always kicks in on which it is really that understandable that you could really still play out of those volatility. The thing that

plays on peoples mind is that they are really that been that in doubt because they are minding that its too late since everything had already pumped out without even trying out to realize that this market could really be having those corrections which is something that you could really still enter anytime and anywhere you do like. This is why you shouldnt really be thinking off on  those ways considering that
there still lots of opportunities on where you could really get in within this market. Its never been too late as long you do know on what you are doing.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 09, 2023, 11:44:42 PM
If you're too concern about kyc and don't want to end up playing in casinos implementing it then you really have to read their TOS and understand every details to become aware of their rules. As you've said, we have an option to look for casinos who are not restrict about kyc wherein you can play without worrying about it.
There's no KYC free casino in this forum which have blackjack game, so there's no way he can play blackjack without KYC. There are few KYC free casino but the game they offer is really limited and the house edge is high, of course many gambler don't want and will choose KYC casino with higher RTP rate or many games. After all we're know Roobet and most of casinos in this forum have KYC rule.
like Roobet and other popular casinos on this forum do have KYC rules and a lot of people on this forum are here and probably do KYC as well.
for me KYC at one of the licensed and popular casinos has had a good reputation on this forum like Roobet, it's not a big deal for me.

but unfortunately gamblers who choose anonymous they don't like gambling sites that have KYC regulations and they prefer to choose casinos without KYC but with big risks.
Most of known gambling platforms currently on the market today might not really be asking some KYC on the time you do make out some registration but if you do read up with their terms and conditions which

you could really see that they would really be still having the possibilities on asking out some KYC if ever they do see something wrong with your gambling activity or with your account or behavior,
which means that there's still no exemption when it comes to this and there would really be no such thing about kyc-less.There's always the tendency which it isnt really that shocking considering
that these platforms are regulated and its just right that they would really be just normally be asking on what should be asked.
1757  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: March 09, 2023, 10:46:59 PM
Bitcoin’s future remains uncertain for now so it’s actually not bad to reserve some bitcoin for retirement so that if ever the price surges high, at least we can also benefit from it and will make our retirement days valuable. But let’s not also forget to secure fiat before bitcoin because it’s an obvious fact that fiat will still be highly needed in the future especially if we have some maintenance check ups and medicines that will help us live a longer life.

The thing is... that nothing is certain. Not even fiat. And I don't mean the current day's inflation, which is still not huge (but far from small either).
But look at Venezuela and their fiat. Do you really think that something like that (2018-2021) cannot happen to "better" fiat, like EUR or USD? Not now, but maybe in 20 years? Never say never.
That's why keeping some eggs in more baskets is the best... if one can afford that.
Yes, I guess both fiat and bitcoin are still uncertain of what will be their value in the future, so if we can have them both as our retirement, then definitely our retirement funds will be more secured and stable by then. However, I would not invest more than 50% in bitcoin I think, I prefer 70% in fiat then 30% in bitcoin, but it could be changeable in the future if ever bitcoin becomes more relevant than fiat.
We could easily make out some switch up if we wanted to and its true that fiat could really still be having that inflation but we know that it isnt something that as risky when you do deal up with crypto.

No matter on how high it would fly with colors in the future but it wont really be making out guarantees that it would be giving out positive results or outcome. No one really knows on what the future lies ahead.
This is why always consider out on having those risks management considering that we are involving our retirement savings which we know that we dont have other sources for us to get more income
on the time that we had retired.Unless if we do have properties and assets which we had been able to purchase when we are still in position.
1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: I got frusted please help? on: March 09, 2023, 09:49:28 PM
Finding best casino is very hard for me
I want to play with small amount but i am not getting a best casino
requirements:
1. minimum withdraw amount should be less than 10$ or 10$
2. no wager requirement before withdrawing
2. no min deposit amount
4. provably fair or live casino

The average of all casinos is like that, and each casino has its own rules or policies on the points you mentioned, and when you look for the best in a casino it is very difficult because it has its flaws, its weaknesses and its limitations to serve its customers, I guess if you focus on the point you mentioned maybe until whenever you will be very frustrated.
For me the casinos that can do the best are those that pay their customers when I withdraw my money from the casino and of course after I follow the terms of withdrawal I think that's fair enough.
There's no such thing about being a perfect casino but somewhat there are those places which are almost that perfect or something that has it all and this is where you could see with those top popular or established ones which had been trusted by the community. We do have those recognitions which we could really make out some research if we wanted to.Actually its not really that hard if we do make out some research for those sites which are really that good to deal off with but there are people who do really want to engage into those newly built or launched platforms which does have something new to offer.
I dont say that most of them are scams but it is really just right that you should really be that doing  your own research if we do speak about depositing on a certain platform.
1759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: March 09, 2023, 09:32:11 PM
In my opinion, these are two different things. Personally, I can't choose between options that I don't think are better because they are negative. If we can avoid both, why do we choose one? We can avoid gambling addiction and trading addiction, so I don't choose between the two options.
It is possible that in the worst situations, trading addiction would be preferred, but if it is still detrimental what difference does it make. once again addiction has a more negative connotation, so I will try to avoid it as much as possible.
You could actually choose both but if we do speak about addiction then it would be better that you should really be sticking out with trading which it is really something beneficial compared when you are making yourself that stick with gambling which we do know that it is really just intended for the sake of entertainment and leisure. If you do find yourself that addicted with trading but some sort that you are really that on profitable side then this is where i called a good addiction i would say but honestly it cant be called addiction considering that it is really normal that you would really be having this kind of
approach where checking out price every now and then is really just a normal act to be done by someone who are really that engage with trading.
Even though it is very doable, but with this you mean taking conditions where you will be at double the risk.
In gambling, it is clear that no one will win other than the dealer when it comes to gambling. As for trading, even for crypto addicts, this is indeed very commonplace, but on the other hand, not everyone understands and can do it well, even I still feel one in ten or more in this regard.
Indeed, in this case, if indeed both of them go well, it will be very profitable, but we also have to see the worst possibility of all.
Dont make yourself that too optimistic because this could cause a disaster if you are really that having that kind of view in your mind on which you do believe that it is really just that
easy to do but it wont and would really be making that desperation within you which is something not really that recommended. Both things could really be possibly be attained for you to become profitable.
This is where you do make yourself a profitable trader and at the same time you do have the luck when dealing up with gambling. This is why it does really depending on the situation
on which you could really be able to handle and prefer.

If we consider outside of the language of gambling then this is a big amount and the person was not right to bet with such amount. But if we describe it in gambling terms then it is very simple because win or loss is a common aspects of gambling. Although large amount of money is used in this bet. However, in gambling bettors participate in betting with having the risk. A gambler who placed such a large bet against such small odds he may thought would win or he took a risk. Usually losses by the odds of 1.01 is comparatively less. But it's nothing but bad luck and he had to lose from that particular bet.
Any bet that has that kind of odds is almost a sure thing, however if he was the kind of gambler that liked to make bets on those kind of outcomes with a very high probability of happening then it was just a matter of time until they found themselves in a situation in which they lost their bet as something completely unexpected happened during the game, so it would not surprise me if this huge bet was in fact the whole gambling capital this person had at the time and lost everything in a matter of minutes.
Who wouldn't really be having those thoughts?

We could see that it do give out that 1.08x specifically which had been told above or in op, which it would be giving out that impression that this is really indeed a sure bet considering with those odds
been given by oddmakers or bookies then it would really be giving out that kind of assurance or confidence of a certain bettor that this is really indeed a one sided match. The thing we do miss out
is that we do know that upsets could really happen on a match. No matter how well or good your opponent or enemy would be but still the chance on having an upset from an underdog team.
This isnt the first time we've seen these upsets and this is why its never been ideal that you would be having those all in type of betting.
