1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: September 08, 2021, 07:29:54 AM
Cryptocurrency poses a certain threat to the national currency, and the decentralization of cryptocurrency is not controlled and influenced by the government.
National governments pay more attention to their own interests. Some countries do not legitimize cryptocurrency because they cannot control it or obtain benefits from it.
Bitcoin price volatility will also have certain risks, which will cause some economic losses, and it will not be accepted by more people.
If only the people will have the power to legalize the use of crypto but sad to say the government officials will always have the final say and that their decision will always be fixed and final. And knowing that the government is totally opposed with the decentralized nature of crypto so it has no way that it will be ever legalized. But of course the government laws and policies will always vary like El Salvador had and so they come up legalizing bitcoin and eventually adopting it as a legal tender.

However, there are also reports that crypto or certainly bitcoin is involved in different scamming and money laundering so maybe the government is also considering that case and think that it will never bring any good to the people.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: September 07, 2021, 11:16:36 PM
I started putting 1k into Bitcoin every time it drops by 5k since 60k. And I ran out of funds a little while ago.

The fact that I can’t buy this dip just makes me extremely uncomfortable.

It makes me feel shifty and nervous of the fluctuations. Whereas before I looked forward to it falling so I can just buy.

I guess this is the part where I wait.

This is a very risky thing you do in terms of having a quality life. In my opinion, you shouldn't invest all your funds into Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in the market. These are very volatile currencies and the amount of your loss would be really huge. Instead of doing it, prefer to buy some Bitcoin periodically with smaller amounts. This will help you allocate some of your funds to do something different. Don't be dependent on only cryptocurrencies.

But he has not mentioned if he is only investing in btc or any other crypto. We actually don't know his other investments by those few statements. Anyway, it seems the OP is getting "addicted" with btc market and he has to evaluate himself if he is ready for this roller-coaster ride in crypto. He should learn how to control his emotions. Otherwise, it may affect his mental health.
I guess OP seems very emotional when he was not able to buy at the dip. If he will always be that way, then maybe crypto won't work for him. He should work for it and as much as possible  be more patient at all times so that he won't miss another chance. I think most of us have experienced of lacking funds sometimes but it won't end up like how OP feels. I suggest he should be more flexible and never be carried by his negative emotions as it won't help him all throughout his trading journey. I know in time he will be able to develop what he needs to. It just a matter of experience accumulation and definitely learn from their mistakes.
1743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Age will you introduce your child to trading on: September 07, 2021, 07:15:42 PM
I will introduce them from the age where they are mature enough and they should think about the future and I hope they will get it very quickly because according to today's technology everything is growing really well and the crypto is so advanced and today every one likes to invest in it like never before.
For me, as much as i want to introduce crypto trading as early as possible, but i know i cannot force my child if he likes to focus on some other stuffs for now because that will make his life happy and complete. But in the near future, when time he becomes more mature then i think introducing about crypto trading might be a good idea. I guess its a matter of right timing.

Crypto trading is definitely a good way to make your life profitable so i will always want to share it to my children so they can also start learning how to do it. But for now, i think they are still much engrossed with childhood stuffs so maybe i'l just wait for the right timing instead. After all, providing money is not yet their concern.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your investing Strategy on: September 06, 2021, 11:04:27 PM
I am currently investing in an old altcoin that I trust, which the coin is already based on my research. Because based on experience I will choose a coin that is strong and held by a bearish market and quickly recovers. For NFT is currently trending, if you have more funds, it can be adjusted to your current capital, and of course the risk is borne by each.
For me, it will be more profitable if we come up investing in those potential coins that are still developing actively in the market and has a good community demand, and those trending NFT games that are currently creating huge interest on the part of its gamers and might still want also to invest in
NFT projects as they have potentials also to be more valuable in the market.

We all have different strategies  when it comes to our own investments and probably your strategy won't work for me or the other way around. So it will be a good idea to continue exploring new investing strategies as they can be more helpful in achieving our goals in a clearer picture.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7th September 2021 Bitcoin becomes legal tender first in history on: September 06, 2021, 10:34:57 PM
El Salvador is not US or China or any country that has economic power, when it was announced that El Salvador will make Bitcoin a legal tender some months back, no notice effect on the crypto market, I do not think this would result to any positive price trend, but this is a good news though.

While I'm not sure how much but El Salvador news did help the last market sprint. It was one of the bullish news that rode bitcoin to the all time high price around $63K. Like you said, it's good news even though it might have little to no effect on the market at this point. But there's a lot to expect from this as plenty of El Salvador citizens would start using bitcoin, making payments and transacting among other peers.
It was a good news by then but for now, i think there is no more effect on the market anymore. But if there will be a new country who will start to adopt bitcoin and use it again as a legal tender, then definitely it will cause another huge pump on the market and may even cause to hit its new ATH earlier as what we expected.

Perhaps not all people living in El Salvador are excited to use bitcoin as a legal tender maybe because there is no clear education about bitcoin that should be initiated by the government and so retirees have made a protest. But i know as much as the leader of the country knows best for its governance, then hopefully he will be able to produce a mass education for all so that all the citizens will be able to understand what they need to know about bitcoin.
1746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: September 03, 2021, 08:54:38 PM
With your capital of $15000, you are making at least 33% return every month, I think that's unrealistic, you can never be consistent in making profit in a monthly basis, because if you do, then there should be no problem increasing it as you can easily increase your capital with the profit you will accumulate overtime.

The question is, "is it possible?" yes, but unlikely.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online sexy casinos on: September 03, 2021, 08:34:25 PM

If you take casino as entertainment, then nudity is an additional highlight in terms of entertainment. And a whiskey addition. In a word, these are distracting maneuvers.

We are not really talking about nudity here, that would not be a sexy casino but a nudist casino which would be a completely different concept than the one we are talking about, sexy casinos refer to the casinos which put a great deal of effort on exposing the sex appeal of all their workers and offering something else besides gambling to their customers by selling this imagery to them, and while not very common they can be very successful.

No casino would ever succeed if they have that kind of entertainment, LMAO. it's not a casino anymore, but it's a porn show. Sexy casinos are more interesting because of the thrill of watching but eventually, people will still get bored on it as they'll lose more often since they will lose concentration, haha.

Honestly, I've seen or probably play in few sexy casinos, but it doesn't really make me stay as I still look for the traditional one.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ethereum taking the crown from Bitcoin as ehtereum reaches $4000 on: September 03, 2021, 07:42:34 PM
Yes, it’s true that eth showed a great move from $3k to $4k when btc was struggling. But this does not mean eth is taking the btc Position some how. You can get the proof if btc drop 10% recently, then you can see where eth can go. Obviously Eth will dump and it could be more than 10%.

I never think eth can take the btc position. King remain king always.
Bitcoin will always dominate the market no matter what because its the king and will always be. We have seen how bitcoin has struggled a lot finally crossing its resistance level at $50k so now we can expect that it will be heading next into its new ATH. Even ethereum is already near to its expected ATH with its current price at $3,949.

Yet, bitcoin has always its power to maintain its position and there's no way for an altcoin even ethereum can take away its crown. The crypto world has always bitcoin in it and i can't imagine the whole crypto market will live through it without the leadership of bitcoin.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life span of bitcoin is till infinity on: September 03, 2021, 07:16:27 PM
The development of human society is always associated with the development of science and technology and is marked by major industrial revolutions. Bitcoin has been a wonderful thing in the development model of industry 4.0 where bitcoin is creating a strong and tight bond... i hope that bitcoin will last forever although there are still problems regulatory and legal.

I am also optimistic that bitcoin will definitely last long because its a very amazing innovation that everybody can enjoy and benefit from it. Although the government cannot see it based on what we have seen in it but i am still hopeful that in the near future their concept about bitcoin and the crypto will definitely be changed and end up legalizing and adopting bitcoin in the long run.

Although its hard for an investment to live until infinity but i know once it will end its life span, a new well deserved innovation will also be taking its place.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: September 03, 2021, 01:12:42 PM
^^ Yes, both is pressured, Kambosos to proved that he is a good and worthy challenger and he can back up this trash talking, and Lopez demonstrate that he is a pound for pound, after winning against Loma. And that's why this fight is really exciting and may the best man win here, although the ML is one Teofimo Lopez as he is the defending champion.
To be honest, I want Lopez to win this and utterly destroy Kambosos given that he's the one talking smack in this bout. And if it's not the case, I wouldn't be proud that Kambosos is the winner because of his behavior.

Kambosos is a very reckless and impulsive person.  He may respond rudely to his opponent, but then he will regret it.

He is Greek, and Greeks are impulsive people, like all southerners.

However, boxers do not fight with words, but with their fists.  And Kambosos is great at boxing.

He is a very serious fighter.  I want him to win this fight.  He has very serious chances.

Lopez is a champion, but his championship must be confirmed in every fight.  His reputation is at stake now.  Therefore, he will fight like a mad animal.

I think we will see an exciting fight !

They can say anything they want, may it be their real attitude or their way to sell fight only, but what matters most is how they will fight in the ring, and as a fan who is willing to pay for the PPV subscription, they should give their best to entertain the fans.

Besides, boxing is a game of entertainment, any fighter who entertains the crowd well will have a chance to make more money in the future.

It's not only about winning, but a fighter should be entertaining too, as people pay to enjoy, not to get bored.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game should I focus? on: September 03, 2021, 11:01:40 AM
Focus on what you know and what you want, that's where you use your passion in gambling.

As for me, I'm into sports, so sports betting really fits me, however, I have not reached the level yet of being consistent in making money, maybe in the future but I know it's not easy for people like me who does not have inborn talent in gambling.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 03, 2021, 09:45:25 AM
There are rumors that LaMarcus Aldridge is going to return to the NBA next season. It seems that he is healthy at the moment, considering that he already passed all necessary tests. By the way, the Nets are interested in Aldridge, and they probably will sign a contract with him again.

The Nets just signed Paul Millsap. That makes them chasing Aldridge a little less likely. I didn’t really expect the Nets to land Millsap but those are the kinds of free agent moves that are possible when you’re heavily favorites to win it all next year. The Lakers I think have the best big three, but the Nets have some serious depth that will come in handy come playoff time.
It could also save them from unexpected injuries which happened last season.
You just never know what the outcome will be and if ever they could take a good spot in the season, they could start using the bench and restrict the minutes of their stars avoiding accidents.
I thought the Nuggets will resign him but it looks like they are also aiming for a younger player that will fill the forward spot.

Probably Paul was not a good fit for the Nuggets, that why they have to let him go. Good thing is that the Nets saw something in him, and quickly sign him. He could be a good reliever for the team and defender. He has so much experience already, and this will be a plus for the Nets specially if they enter the playoffs as Millsap can provide some leadership too. So yeah, probably the LA acquisition is no longer in the table for the Nets.

He still has some quality minutes, don't say he is not fit, I think they just need a better contributor than him, and we can understand since Paul Millsap is not anymore in his prime, he is already 36 years old, and he only has a few seasons left before he will officially retire.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: September 03, 2021, 06:55:25 AM
Casimero is only trying to create his own clamor hehe. He is also deciding to be in the unconfirmed Lomachenko vs. Commey fight card on December 11 in New York city hehehe. However, I reckon after his poor fight versus Rigondeaux, he himself is beginning to speculate that the promoters will not choose him.  Also, Bob Arum mentioned that Inoue’s next fight will be in Japan.

He surely is.
The guys is literally using the social media to spark a match up against Inoue. He seems very desperate to get the fight.
I know he's very passionate about his profession, but he gradually came to the point of being so annoying.
He even said he could fight both Inoue and Donaire at the same time.
He has the talent and heart for boxing, I hope he gets to fight Inoue so we could see the result.
And look what we are seeing now, he's bringing this drama to favor himself,

Inoue's interest fighting him is clearing up, that annoying post from social media gather Inoue's camp to read it up and those loving fans of Inoue who seen those trash talks adding up to the pressure, Inoue is a warrior and if he's promoter, allow him to fight Casimero no doubt that he take him with no hesitation.

It's a good match up as both of them are more into action I mean a blow by blow counter punchers, seeing them throwing solid punches and absorbing how hard it is and how to throw much solid and try to knock your opponent's down.

Can't wait to witness that scene, it would bring more entertainment to all fans for sure.

Inoue and Bob Arum might also be very annoyed and might give the opportunity to Nonito Donaire who is the more exciting opponent after his knockout win to win the WBC bantamweight title versus Nordine Oubaali.

Do Inoue fans want to watch Casimero after promising a knockout on Rigondeaux in 3 rounds? However, do Inoue fans want to watch Donaire after Oubaali? Does Bob Arum want to promote a fight that Inoue fans want to watch? The answers are very clear.

All I want to see is a fight between champions, and since Casimero, Inoue, and Donaire are champions, they can choose whom to fight and if we see a rematch between Inoue and Donaire, well, I think it's still a good one though Inoue will likely win again by Unanimous decision.

The most exciting fighter now IMO is Casimero, he likes to prove that his trash talk to Inoue could also hurt him in the ring.
So hoepuflly Arum will give way to the possibility of this fight.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crash or new sunrise of crypto on: September 02, 2021, 07:08:49 PM
This is just a feature of the cryptocurrency market. We will use this volatility as long as there is such an opportunity. A very risky opportunity.
We will be especially careful.
It is better in such a market as now, with high volatility but with the opportunity to grow. Because I remember how it was at the end of 2018, the whole of 2019...
Bitcoin has always its own high potentials to keep growing even if it has its own bears and bulls. So even if the market is in crash or not, it will always bound to recover after every fall. And that what makes bitcoin more amazing.

With its current achievement, i know bitcoin or the crypto market is not in a crash anymore as all of the signs in the market are obviously leading into a bullish market soon. We don't know its definite time but we know it will happen soon.
1755  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: September 02, 2021, 06:47:18 PM
I'm very interested in the topic you created to remind us to continue investing in the future. What is clear for myself before I invest I settle all my bills. After all is done I will invest 20% every result of my hard work.
It's good to start investing if you have settled already your loans and no pending bills aside from monthly mortgages, so that you will have more focus and dedication to reach your investment's goals. The very basic is have your own savings and only a portion of it should be allocated for your investment. The rest will be for your emergency purposes. Borrowing funds for you capital should always be your last option i guess but still not a good idea.

Investing has always its positive outcome not unless you start doing it in a wrong way.  Invest only on the amount you can afford to lose so you will never keep regretting the moment your investment suddenly fail.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency! on: September 01, 2021, 02:54:03 PM
the use of bitcoin as a local currency,, sounds very interesting but we must realize for now there are still people out there who don't understand bitcoin, some even don't know what bitcoin is, so in my opinion before we use bitcoin as the main currency , it would be nice if we introduce everyone first, and teach them how to play in bitcoin, and teach them about how to buy using bitcoin, after everyone knows about bitcoin after that we make a plan to use bitcoin as the main currency, that's the opinion I..
Bitcoin has already became a legal tender in El Salvador but i don't think this will be possible in my country as most of the people are still used to fiat and i don't think if they know bitcoin already or still ignorant about it. But it would be interesting though having bitcoin as a local currency as it would finally be used according to its purpose and not just as a pure investment.

However, the government might oppose to this proposal as they also think bitcoin as a big scam. And that bitcoin is illegal. So even if we are eager to use bitcoin as a local currency, it will not be possible yet knowing there's still a need for mass education on bitcoin. Things might change in the future hopefully.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big sad on: August 31, 2021, 11:51:11 PM
I think that buying Bitcoin is also a wise decision. You didn't get profit from Cardano now, but I am sure that if you are patient enough, you will hold Bitcoin for a while and you will also get a good profit. Moreover you are so young and already involved in crypto, so you have enough time to make money on this market, so just take your time and don't give up.
Indeed. If your holding Bitcoin or other coins that possibly give high profit then no need for you to be sad since you will surely earn your profit with that coin. Choosing other coins is a wise decision especially when you choose Bitcoin. Maybe Cardano will not give you profit but I'm pretty sure holding bitcoin for a while will give you a good profit in the future. Indeed. As long as they are young and can make income in other way, then there's no need for them to be sad because they have a lot of time to earn money, if they just give all their effort and be patient always then they can earn and learn especially to all of those mistakes they've done.
Converting your altcoins to bitcoin is definitely a good choice and you should not feel worried about it because in the long run, bitcoin will give you more profits than cardano. Mind you, its a wise decision dude.

But i suggest, if you plan to hold your coins, then have faith to your coins. You should not just easily dump your coins in exchange for others. But in your case, its another story though.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador retirees protest against Bitcoin as legal tender on: August 31, 2021, 07:17:22 PM
This is not the first time I hear some people saying that Bitcoin price is always fluctuating so it can't be made legal tender. But even if they continue to say these things, El Salvador has made it legal tender. And this will stay the way it is as long as the country doesn't start getting harmed by this move. They should be really careful about this situation. Otherwise, all the effort will be in vain.
Being the first state to make bitcoin as a legal tender, then its really expected that not all people will agree on it particularly for those old people who were not able to study on new technology so having to use fiat for a lifetime is already good enough for them. Not just them but also for those kind of people who still believe that bitcoin is a scam and there is no way that bitcoin can be a good currency but for money laundering purposes only.

Good thing about this is that the President is not forcing to use bitcoin for now but i know in time, bitcoin will be mandatory already as only few people only get to oppose the current enforced system. Well, everything can be learn in bitcoin so there's no way people can escape that.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins? on: August 31, 2021, 06:49:34 PM
No offense for other countries 🌹

Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins or let's says that Bitcoins are illegal to them?

Many reasons why some countries treated Bitcoins an illegal. But we all know that Bitcoins did not break the rules of the government, in fact Cryptocurrencies are very popular nowadays especially Bitcoin, many people got successful by joining Bitcoin.

In my point of view Bitcoin is not illegal unless you're trying to scam someone. Bitcoins did not steal money from the bank so what's the point we say Bitcoin is illegal?

They don't accept and legalize Bitcoin for so many reasons and we have not to urge them to do that as it was their choice. Will have to respect them. We could really think and ask why and why? No matter what we do, even we spend the whole day explaining to them, that it never has an effect because, at the end of the day, they will not able to understand what you saying.
if they believe and trust crypto, they surely had come and embraced the new system in the first place but they don't, and what else we have to expect them. What we are going to do is to wait until the moment that they will open their minds and look on the positive side of Bitcoin and I know they will do it.
Each country has definitely its own reasons why bitcoin for them becomes illegal and does not plan to accept bitcoin even if others are already doing the contrary. It may be bitcoin as a big threat to their own government due to its decentralized in nature or because of social media news that bitcoin has been indirectly involved in  different scams. I believe if the country is willing to accept bitcoin to integrate in their traditional financial system then they can do it just like other countries who have been accepting already bitcoin payments.

Whatever their reasons behind then let it be. I believe the process will take time and hopefully once more countries will be able to accept bitcoin as a form of currency, then they will change their perception towards bitcoin. Adoption for bitcoin has still a long way to go before it will be finally realized.

1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage losses? on: August 30, 2021, 11:52:16 PM
Firstly, diversification is one of the important things to do.
We must know how much to put in new altcoins or in a new NFT, and be ready to lose the funds that we can afford.
Personally, I will not put much money into such new altcoins or NFT projects because it is too risky.
I will better put more money into Bitcoin, Ethereum, and also other top coins. However, if it has been done loses, just move on and learn from previous mistakes.

Putting your funds in a relatively new market is really a high risk action. As you have no clue if the NFT platform will survive or just riding the hype, as well as with new alts, you are risking your funds to very risky investment. Diversification is always the key when it comes to investment. So if you want at least an assurance that you will not go home empty-handed, better invest in top coins like btc or eth. With these coins, you very well know, you still have it when you wake up the next morning.
Investments have definitely its own risks so either we get lose or make profits at the end of the day. The choice is ours so we should always see to it that we are investing the most reliable coins in the market that will not leave us zero value once we get lose. After all, losing is part of investing but as long as we invest on the amount we can afford to lose then that's fine.

NFT projects have become very impressive today especially when it comes to gaming but we still don't know yet if its only just a hype and after that, it might not come out profitable. So always prioritize bitcoin and ethereum more than those newly projects because even if we see them dumping, their value will always recover again. So its not really a huge loss for us.
