17461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approval 72% favour? on: March 10, 2017, 04:02:45 AM
I want to know where that percentage you got from, any source of it? Well most of the bitcoin community is in favor of ETF though the question is really tough which SEC is the one that will answer it. We don't have choice for now and wait what will be the decision of it. But many of us here are hoping that it will be approved.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-bitcoin-etf-approval-is-likely-72-percent-in-favor-so-far

Cointelegraph is well known for promoting even scams as we have seen in it's history of posting . You just pay them a good amount of money and they can write whatever you ask them. 72% sounds not very plausible to me and I think this statistic is wrong. Anyway I am waiting for the 11 March.

Those cases you are mentioning is different from this and well the real is that I don't know if that 72% is believable. Though this is for the good of us if approval does have higher approval rate rather than decline. 1 more day to go or I've read somewhere here on forum that ETF approval will on the 13th? Well regardless of the date, it's coming near.
17462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: March 10, 2017, 03:51:51 AM
Too bad I feel sorry on saying this that western union is still better than bitcoin nowadays. Because they had a lot of customers throughout the world and those people doesn't have any knowledge when it comes to bitcoin or crypto currency. But I know one day they will be informed about bitcoin and will even try to use it for remittances.
17463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I Trust Hashflare.io ? on: March 10, 2017, 03:42:24 AM
I invest 1.5 btc in hashflare SHA-256, and it's been 14 months but haven't been getting the RoI. It used to be priced around $220 but I regret because the current price has reached $1,250. So in conclusion, I do not trust with hashflare and all cloud mining.

for 1.5btc, you could had your own pro mining gear.

This is what I've been saying for a lot of times. These type of investment are just the same with HYIP's. The advantage will always go with the owner/s not with the investor/s. We know that they are making people fool that they are actually doing some mining real and selling real hash to you people. But in reality, there's no such thing as mining farm/rig from them.
17464  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Price drops after ETF not approved, it's because people are Dumb on: March 10, 2017, 03:25:11 AM
The price shot up over a thousand months before most people even knew about the ETF. What makes you think it will make a difference?

If it's not approved, whales will dump and price will drop... but the panic sellers will send it further. Just HODL. $10k is not far away.

If it will not be approved then we already saw the dropped a couple of days ago. And we know when after the drop what's next? Yeah the price will pump so we are on pump right now. Regardless what will be the result of ETF given by SEC. Dumb people will do panic selling, yeah they did already and right now just wait for it we're flying high.
17465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF confirmed by sauces on: March 09, 2017, 04:34:21 PM
I'm liking your sauces it taste so good. Maybe the person that made the sauces you've got is the same guy that made the sauces I ate or they do have the same way of making sauces. I guess they will make their recipe one of the best ever in the bitcoin economy. I wanted to taste it while lasts a life time, hold your sauces!
17466  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best online btc wallet on: March 09, 2017, 04:15:09 PM
Like to use exodus. Have been looking for a nice wallet and it is one for me with nice interface and fast reaction.
It is downloadable so I don't know if it would be consider a web wallet. Undecided

I haven't heard this wallet and it supports a lot of alt coins. So you will be having a one time wallet that can holds different crypto's? Sounds good but for me, I'll still go with blockchain.info though they are keep on recommending the right miners fee for all of us who are using it. When I'm not satisfied anymore with them, I'll migrate to other one.

When I hear that one wallet is for few/a lot of alt coins, for me this mean that this wallet is super-key for robbers. In other words - when something is to everything - is for nothing.
If someone like to have everything in one place - i understand that, but this places will never be secure. Wallets like this (In my opinion) have security on level 20%

Actually I don't have any idea with what he had mentioned, just google it for enlightenment. We all know that security will always be a matter of an online bitcoin and we know the risk of it. But if you think that percentage of online wallets is only 20% I don't think so. It really depends on how they are determined to give security for their users. And it looks like there are a lot of wallets that has been focusing more with the security.
17467  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 09, 2017, 03:47:46 PM
Well I'm working for some with my mining equipment but I also earn satoshis tgrough faucets and signature campaigns. The later ones aren't much but they do really matter and have helped me pay Uber taxi and shop on Amazon.

What do you mean by your later ones? And with faucets I don't have any against with it but the thing is that earning with it isn't that suitable anymore if you are quite expecting to earn more. Many are saying that it's just a waste of time and I guess they are right with though that is good if you got a lot of time to visit those faucets.

17469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the tbc ? on: March 09, 2017, 03:14:26 PM
It is not even considered as an alt coin. I don't call it even as a crypto currency but the owner and developers of it are just treating as a crypto currency in line to get some investors that they are going to scam. Don't believe this project just like others said, this is created for scamming its investors and making them believe that this had a future.
17470  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: March 09, 2017, 02:45:14 PM
Do you mean campaign managers? Yeah they are earning higher than 1 BTC a month, the more they are managing. But that's a skill for them, it is not that an easy thing to manage a campaign especially when you've got tons of campaigns to manage and you've got a lot of participants to monitor. And promoting referral links is just an extra income where you really can't rely on.
Campaign managers isn't an easy job and rather than get a salary you would get blamed for not doing your job well because late payment, couldn't filter participants and etc. But if you have a potential you should try it with the small campaign like altcoin campaign.

Campaign managers are worth to be paid for what they are being paid. It's not a very easy thing to do but I guess if OP will be trying to make a campaign management service this will be a hard thing for him to enter the scene of this industry since there are more competitors already that has built trust throughout the forum.

There is no harm in trying and offering to be a manager, the most important thing is to be consistent and responsible. Management time is the most important thing, and if we have enough time, I think being a campaign manager is not difficult.

Well there is no harm but of course I can picture it out for OP if he is going to try it out or someone here that is an aspiring manager. Though we are in the world of bitcoin economy where making dreams possible. And it's up to you if you are determined to make this big money monthly but I just want to say that find other ways instead of this.
17471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as reserve currency. on: March 09, 2017, 02:27:39 PM
It has been estimated that Bitcoin would be the sixth largest reserve currency in the world in 2030.Could bitcoin become the first largest reserve currency and when?

Well I don't want to believe with this type of speculation maybe you could show us some proof or source here. Bitcoin isn't that good to be estimated as sixth of the largest reserve currency. There are even more good reserve currencies throughout the world and how do you say that bitcoin is on the top 6th right now?
17472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: March 09, 2017, 02:07:56 PM
"Saving bitcoin in banks"? Well, that doesn't sound right, compares to what I know about bitcoin. I haven't seen or heard about any banks that offiacially accept bitcoin in their bank system, so how would you do this when bitcoin is not banks' favour? You can save your bitcoin in all kinds of wallet, you know Grin

As far as I know there are just banks that are still planning to do so. But with the implementation there is zero for it. Still I do believe also in the future that there will be banks that will be able to accept bitcoins from their depositors and will manage to adopt bitcoin for their services. As of now, our wallets are good to be called as our banks.
17473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are all bitcoins considered equal? on: March 09, 2017, 03:33:51 AM
Are these considered less valuable than untainted bitcoin?

Remember that when someone invested to bitcoin and deposited billions or millions of dollars on it. It doesn't matter, that will add up to the total market cap of bitcoin.

For example, let's say someone makes a large purchase (unknowingly) of previously stolen bitcoin. They deposit it into an exchange. Will the exchange balk?

On this case, there are exchanges that doesn't really care and doesn't do some tracing back on where did you got those coins.

I see the real score about this topic here that all bitcoin were created equal because exchangers doesn't have any screening on where that btc was earned, yet most of wallet exchangers were not that strict of account registrations and it remained anonymous wallet users. Those who steal bitcoins wss still hiding in a wealthy status of financial abundance but his reality has an end if ever authority will eventually track him down and fall him into trap.

Yeah I find that thing too, they really don't care at all tracking transactions, as long as customers will use them and will pay the fees then they are fine with it already. But when there are special cases I guess they are taking time to review some transactions. But I know that coinbase is participating with the US gov't on reviewing the customers past transactions.
17474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: March 09, 2017, 03:17:25 AM
Some people many reason why they don't like get bitcoin. Some afraid to invest their money they don't want to lose it and some they think bitcoin is scam, but we can not blame them because that is their faith. But as i observed many risk takers now they become successful to their life. And i want to try it also to become a risk taker.

I agree that most of the people that doesn't want to get bitcoin because of fear. They are scared to invest in bitcoin because many are articles in google that telling people that don't get into bitcoin, "It's a scam", "it's illegal" and other Fuds that are giving by those people that wants to stop newcomers to get into bitcoin.

17476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analyzing All 700 Altcoins on: March 09, 2017, 02:47:52 AM
I don't think so that someone did analysis for the whole 700 alt coins and if someone will voluntarily do this. I don't think that it will be enough for him to review for all coins. As we know there are a lot of coins that are coming out every year so this will be a hard job for that guy who will analyze ALL of those coins including those dying ones.

That's a lot of hard work and effort to do it. For me coinmarketcap.com is a good one to check for reference  regarding the altcoins. The higher the market capitalization the better the said coin in position. Also the volme traded is a good factor too.

Yes that's the most reliable of knowing and reviewing those all alt coins in the market. But they are just showing the market cap and some other information of those coins but the whole review that OP is talking about that site doesn't have that. And for this type of article and analysis there is no person that will waste his time to review those coins that doesn't need to be reviewed.
17477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: real btc usage on: March 09, 2017, 02:34:23 AM
hi

is there a way to find out how many BTC are really used to buy things.

e.g the amount of BTC that are transfered through bitpay transactions and similar services.

thank you

There's no way to find it out, bitcoin is currency and an investment. We cannot determine if a transaction is from trading or buying of goods and services. Just like in fiat, we can use it for everything as usual the same thing with bitcoin. And I guess there's no need or help for doing this type of research and additional knowledge.
17478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF decision before 11th March on: March 09, 2017, 02:18:45 AM
This is exciting and we are near to it. I hope SEC will consider ETF and will approve it. We know that when they will make a news about it and published that they approved it. Many investors will get into bitcoin and the price will make it pumping. I'm following the news and I can't wait to see what will be the result.

17480  Economy / Speculation / Re: What keeps Bitcoin price stable? on: March 09, 2017, 01:36:38 AM
There are a lot of factors that are making the price of bitcoin stable. First is that many groups, whales and exchanges supporting it and they are helping bitcoin to keep on reaching a stable price. Another thing is those people that are new comers that keep on buying and adds to the contribution of bitcoins price and a lot more things.
