17561  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good and relatively safe dice strategy? on: July 22, 2015, 01:22:23 AM
There is pretty much no safe stragey but there are low risk. Basicallly if you have a million dollars you can probably safety win $1.

However its possible to get 40x loses in a row and lose that million just to win $1.
i doubt that anyone would risk million dollars just to win 1 as it would still have some risks, though it would be easier to do all in bet to win that dollar on small loose chance

Agreed. You are pretty much better off just putting the money in a savings account and letting the interest accumulate or buying a business.
17562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quantum Dice - House edge as low as 0.01%!!![limited time] on: July 21, 2015, 07:47:30 PM
I guess this site is really improving. When I saw it at first, it looked like a total copy and paste but the new site design is great.

Also the low house edge makes it really attractive.
17563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: July 21, 2015, 07:46:31 PM
The question is misleading and should be reworded. For example on a dice site (or any type of gambling) you can rack up a huge "total gambled/bet" amount without much actual btc in win/losses.

I am pretty sure he meant how much have you lost, not in how much have you put on the table.
17564  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there any PVP based on skill games out there? on: July 21, 2015, 07:44:56 PM
There actually are not and I am surprised why. Probably because one player could steal everybodys bank roll. But you can try Chess, but there could always be bots playing against you.
i guess if a bot countre you it will be hard to win :p or you have a chance ?

Probably next to impossible to win. There are bots coded for Chess that gives an advantage in every possible move scenario.

17567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably Fair Bitcoin Slots, 1 free BTC on first deposit on: July 21, 2015, 06:17:01 PM
Its a 100 % fake and scam site. Giving just 1 btc bonus for playing. If you deposit your own bitcoins, you cannot withdraw ur own amount also without reaching the 100 btc bet volume.

To be honest, bonus with high rollover requirement is a way to lock your funds . Which is a marketing strategy from the house to get people to try their game and perhaps get their deposit amount if they fail to complete the wagering requirement however there is no harm done in trying because it has been stated that minimum deposit is 0.001BTC . Chances are low but it is there which means with 0.001BTC there are chances for you to win big from the site ( which is unlikely but not impossible )

yeah, i agree with arallmuus, bonus is one kind of casino promo to attract people play and lose deposit(lock your funds unless you complete high rollover), that's why it is called bonus cause it is beneficial to casino. Casino is not a charity organization, it is a very profitable company, so gamblers think they can win big but most of them lost all of their money in pockets, and that's why only a few guys get rich from gambling, but almost every casinos' owner are ridiculous rich. Cheesy

Well the really high rollover makes it seem like it might not be a scam site but a site betting highly on you losing all your funds before making the withdraw. Slots have the worse house edge anyways, especially in casinos. Don't know why people keep playing them.
17568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 21, 2015, 06:15:03 PM
For me, instant or fast withdrawals are important, and reliability.
instant withdrawals are impossible as it would lead to people double spending their bitcoins, for me i need provably fairness and a faucet

I think that's what he meant when he said fast withdraws, There is no such things in the bitcoin world as instant withdraws.
17569  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why haven't we seen PDIP chips the traditional hobby DIY guy could use? on: July 21, 2015, 06:13:24 PM
Manufacturers don't like dip chips because it is more difficult and costly to solder on boards. Reflow soldering smd components on smaller boards is much cheaper. Mounting heatsinks on soic is also easier than dip.

You would notice the same is happening to basic opamps and logic gates. Some models are often not manufactured in dip package because demand to so low.

Yes true the days are all gone. These days its all about space and efficently. And with the right tools you can solder your own BGA SMD components.
17570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 21, 2015, 07:14:44 AM
I mean, dice game is really simple, and many sites offer the same more or less( in terms of gaming),dice with bot with some configurations.

What makes you decide for a dice site to play in it?

what you can expect from gambling ? sometime you will sometime you loss i will say its all and all depend on your luck because mostly sites have 49% winning and 50% losing ratio which means you have almost the same chances to win and loss so you can expect from dise site to double your money or eat up all

i feel like whatever i do when gambling i end up losing in the end.
i was recently trying some new strategy of betting in a dice site and it was hundred percent successful for four days and i calculated every possibility but in the fifth day everything went to hell and i lost all my bankroll.

I know what you mean. Its the worst feeling in the world to lose everything that you've gained and then some.

This site is actually not fair  Undecided Look at my picture , I don't understand why I lost?

I think you lost because when you bet the price was 1 and the closing price was 1 also. It should of been a draw but I guess a draw counts as a loss.

You bet around 78000 Sats, what was your transaction fee? 10000 Sats? Seems like a huge transaction fee for such a small amount.
17572  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites' max payout on: July 20, 2015, 08:00:14 PM
I think its because when people bet using 9900x they are usually using bots and slowing down the server. SO when you have a 64000x max bet when you are obviously not going to hit the jack pot soon. Probably to elimiate the people who code bots.
17573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining without installing software on: July 20, 2015, 07:57:36 PM
No its not possible. These days you can only GPU mine and to GPU mine you need to install sgminer, You can't run it off a web browser.
17574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 20, 2015, 07:56:16 PM
greedy  is the nature of human being. I am very greedy and i lost because of this.
Yes thats actually how casinos make money off you in the long run. Its due to emotions.

In Las Vegas, you get cheap hotel rooms, cheap food, just to get you to gamble. Sometimes they hope you win a little so you can lose big next time
17575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: July 20, 2015, 07:54:43 PM
what?36 people >100BTC for gambling
im at <1BTC for gambling because gambling for fun  Roll Eyes

Check my post above you, I excepted that someone is going to ask.

Yes like I mentioned before. When bitcoin was cheaper then 1 BTC was nothing. But when it was $1000 = BTC then it was a different story. That's why this poll isn't accurate.
17576  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LKETC 5T 1000W is it real? on: July 20, 2015, 07:52:56 PM
This is either a scam or its a unit that will most likely cost around $3000 US dollars that nobody will ever buy.

But its hard to tell since its not a scam company.
17577  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: July 20, 2015, 07:52:00 PM
Yup most of the US is profitable to mine, either on residential or commercial.

If you take about 4.5 cents off these rates that about what the realistic low price you can get in those states.
http://www.eia.gov/electricity/monthly/epm_table_grapher.cfm?t=epmt_5_6_a

Their "California" number is way off.  Our state is much to large to be represented by a single number.  I pay twice the rate listed there, sometimes 3x.

California I think varies greatly by how populated the area is. The more populated the more the price is and the less populated the cheaper the electricity is.
17578  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: July 20, 2015, 07:50:01 PM
Why is everybody replying on this thread. Doesn't everybody know that Bitfury no longer sells to the public but miners for profit themselves?
17579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Trying to buy a massive amount of hardware!!! on: July 20, 2015, 07:48:19 PM
Right now is actually very hard to buy great deals on hardware since there are no manufacteurs selling at decent prices and also all the used equipment is starting to go up in value because the BTC/USD price rose slightly.
17580  Economy / Gambling / Re: 124 Bitcoin jackpot in Dragon's Tale on: July 20, 2015, 07:38:07 AM
Its really crazy that people are placing over 3 BTC bets on such low odds of winning. Some people must really be big millionaires.

I think on Primedice there was an 100 BTC winner recently.
