1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 20, 2016, 05:44:21 PM
BTC rally seems to be over. What happens to FCT now?

Pump?

I dont see that. To tell u the truth, I do not even know what need to happen for FCT to pumps up again big time. Cause all great news seem to have no effect at all.

Its certainly strange that FCT didnt pump when good news was ann but I think its the case for most of the altcoins.
Maybe its all related to the bitcoins rise? Now that the price is settling and if M2 and exodus wallet will be implemented then I think we can see a good pump.

No one wants to let go of their precious BTC, many think it will pass 1k or whatever. It's just a pump and dump like any other altcoin experiences, Bitcoin is not immune. No real adoption or world usage, improved tech, good news, etc. Just some countries experiencing economic troubles and speculators going at it. It will go back to low 600s before the end of the year and settle around $650 (it would be another year of profit and growth though!)

Still I feel FCT should ve seen better result, especially since M2 s imminent and this grant has materialized. This has had no effect on price. This is why I ask, HOW COME? It doubled couple months ago based on nothing. Before that, it went up to 85 following ETH, again based on nothing. So when there s a real, tangible reason to go up, it does not. Where there isnt, the price skyrockets. Damn, if I understand crypto.

That's how they make money lol. They pump for no reason to liquidate shorts and make ppl fomo because they don't know why it's pumping and then they dump on amazing news so make ppl go crazy again. It's guerilla warfare and will never make sense in such a corrupt marketplace. That's why for now just find a good entry and hold.

I m not talking about pumpers and speculators. I m talking about REAL MARKET response to strong fundamentals. GOOD PRODUCT should be valued more and perceived as a good product after so many independent sources confirm it. HOW the fuck this has not happened yet?

1765  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: November 20, 2016, 12:27:09 PM
I think you should use Safedice when i was using it 4 months ago it had an investment option i don't know if still they are taking investments or not but give it a try.

Tried that one, for a few weeks, made next to nothing. So, I ll think about finding something else to invest into.
1766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 20, 2016, 12:26:18 PM
I think it is not good to invest in casino which is good only if ypu have more money to waste in playing casino that is why casino is only for people who have more money or rich people.

You did not understand the OP's post at all.

1.Gambling at casinos - complete loss
2.Investing in casino bankroll - profitable in the long run, passive earning

What this thread is about is point number 2 and not point number 1

We all know that gambling at a casino is a sure loss if you keep gambling. Instead investing in the casino bankroll, you can get a share of the house edge every time someone wins or loses. It is a good source of passive income.

What about losing from investing in casino bankroll? There re several casinos where people have won big time and this money comes from investor bankrolls. So be careful there, there is a change of losing money. Also, there is a change of investor running away with your money as well.

It s not only about scam or not scam. It s also about profitability. Besides scrypt mining, what else brings any kind of ROI? NOTHING that I know of.

I think your should also MOMENTARILY ban posting referral links cause all I see there s bunch of BS services being promoted by referral hunters. Quality not only quantity, remember.
1769  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: November 20, 2016, 07:25:24 AM
Investing in casinos cannot make you anything above 4-5% annually. Which s great but you can also lose serious money. Remember, in order for you to make money, someone needs to lose it at the same time.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 20, 2016, 07:21:39 AM
Having a 43% gain is really amazing. I am happy that you are gaining while at the same time give us a clear breakdown on each site and their performance. And also thanks to you, i have invested in one more and and divert from a very poor site. Otherwise, i may lose like 1btc or so.

As I got it through my investigations, these terrific gains came on two occasions. In my view, those were the results of losses by a few big whales. Maybe, it was just one big whale parting with his hoard of bitcoins. Anyway, this seems to be a lucky strike in a sense and may not happen again, at least, very soon.

Yes, the average annual results re probably close to 4-5% and that is it. It s not possible reaching 20% a month during the entire year.

Remember, in order for you to make money in gambling, someone needs to lose it. Who s able to keep losing 20% a month?Huh Or even 40%.

It seems our dear speculators re going to perform another round of pump and dump. I missed this train, really hoped the price would break up to at least 35. Maybe Trump needs to invest into Factom next cause it seems Gates alone s not enough to convince the market.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 19, 2016, 09:14:36 AM
Ok can someone tell me that what is the real benefit of buying and holding Factoids?
I mean I knew that Factom company is good and all but will FCT holder get benefit of Factom growth?

If you cant tell, I think you re definitely in the wrong place.

You benefit when the price goes up so you can sell and make some money. What kind of question is that? It s not as if Brian and Paul re gonna make and deliver cookies back to you.

So you gonna say that Factoids is just for speculation  and there is no use case beside registering for entry?

Name me one other coin which s got some other user besides BTC. What does ETH do for me? What to XMR do for me? You can buy/sell/cashout, speculate and that s it. What else would you like? For this to cure world famine?

1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FLYCOIN ANN : Mandatory update to V2.4.3 (Nov 17 2016) on: November 19, 2016, 07:22:54 AM
Both Avast and my antikeylogger recognize this new version as a threat and immediately delete it.

Also, do we have a functional exchange or not?

which wallet version? (version number, os, and bits please)

ive seen this happen in the past. sometimes avast stopped me from opening wallets. it would start them up. but as soon as the UI was about to come up, it would close them (including bitcoin) by killing the process. couldnt figure out why. i used a VM until they released new virus definitions. then it stopped doing it

edit: what AV do you use?

The last AV version, 12.3, Avast Internet Security.

I have tried to install the latest wallet version, the one from Vegas website 2.4.1.0

Pls fix this, I do trust all of you but website and wallets get hacked and I DO NOT install anything which is not 100% safe. Avast, I ve seen that being false positive before, buy key logger, never. This is new even for me.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 19, 2016, 07:15:48 AM
What OP s been reporting are a specifically crazy 3 months. I ve been invested into these casinos for over about a month and I get nothing even CLOSE to what they report.
1776  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: About mining rig rental's on: November 19, 2016, 06:38:46 AM
Have you ever considered building your own mining rig? It s not that complicated, lots of guides around, especially on youtube and then you mine whenever and whatever you want. Also, you can expand your farm from profits quite easily.

Any news about the sale? How long do you plan to keep this option open in case there re no acceptable offers?
1778  Economy / Securities / Re: Selling HashFlare cloud mining hash rate (17.5 TH/s) on: November 19, 2016, 06:25:20 AM
Nice price, even lower compared to their discounted price.

Good luck with your sale.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 19, 2016, 06:15:11 AM
Polo s not the main problem why the price s not going up. BTC potential price growth and related expectations re a part of the explanation.

However, the main reason is the market still not believing Factom s got something special. Why is this the case, I do not know. Cause if the there would be an investor or a group of investors bringing 2k BTC into the market and buying Factom, the price would skyrocket,

Instead, it s only a few of us around buying and selling, a few hundred holding and waiting and out favourite bot operators doing the rest.

Cause if Bill Gates can't push the price up, then I really do not know what will. Expecting Factom usage will increase the price via burning Factoids is not something I m prepared to rely on. Cause Factom needs to keep Factoids in the game, they will add supply after M3.

So, wtf s going on? Why there re not 2k BTC investors going into Factom?
