1761  Other / Meta / Re: The strict policy in Bitcointalk. on: September 27, 2020, 07:56:39 PM
The strictness and tight rules was made for some amendments in the forum seen from the last years of its existence. Merit system was activated to eliminate account farming with the campaigns here in bitcointalk. If you're here for the money, then it's clear that you'll end in just a newbie rank.
New systems is part of progress, I imagine the forum full of trolls without the merit system lol.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 27, 2020, 07:45:47 PM
As for me I'd rather bet in one $50 than $10 in 5 games, especially if I'm quite sure about the bet that's easy peasy. Low balls are actually for the game you does not really know and you just want to test your fortune. The thing with small bets with high number of games is that the risk is quite managed, losses can be easily seen so you can stop as early as possible. Different level of risk that one must consider.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 27, 2020, 06:55:23 PM

I was expecting a knockout that will put him to sleep but the referee didn't waste a second to stop the fight when he saw Micah struggles to balance after a big uppercut.
Nah man, he struggles before the round 3, after seeing that I know he got a low chance of having a good blow to turn the tables up against casimero. That was a toe to toe first 3 rounds for them but Casimero got what it takes to get the title.

That's a disrespect to Inoue, he should take the fight, unless he is afraid.

I don't think it's disrespectful to Inoue, remember that English is not Casimero's first language obviously. We have seen worst, Floyd or Conor is way disrespectful to their opponent. He is just expressing the need for Inoue to really face him in the future, because he wanted to show that Inoue is not the monster that everyone wanted to project. And Casimero has proven that he can back up all this pre and post trash talk.

Yeah, Inoue called him out first and so he responded, you  know how to get hype for the sports, trashtalking everywhere. But I must agree that it is a disrespect for Inoue, though English is not Casimero's language he knows what 'motherf*cker' means lol, but yeah the curse will make the burst.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: September 27, 2020, 04:55:44 PM
No doubt with that when just basing off on the numbers then you can tell on whose the one do had the edge.
Mark Magsayo

20W (14KO's)
0L
0D

Rigoberto Hermosillo
11W(8KO's)
2L
0D
Jose Haro might have a chance.I do saw that Magsayo is a Filipino boxer..Whats the reason on why he had been replaced?
I'm rooting to the Filipino fighter, I don't know maybe a bit carried away by Manny Pac to think that Filipinos are great at boxing but yeah the number speaks itself. The Filipino fighter is more experienced in fighting, and got his most of wins via TKO.

From the recent fight that I've watch, Casimero VS Micah, there are less crowd than I anticipated. Would this be a huge money for them both?
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: September 26, 2020, 10:24:54 PM
It seems like USA and UK has the most restricted countries for the casinos. I don't know about their national policies but it seems hard to pass to those policies. Here in my country, I don't know they they restrict any casino since they could just put their hand to it and get tax out of it. It's just a matter of regulation and licensure right? or a lot complicated than these countries?
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: September 26, 2020, 09:35:16 PM
Yeah it's trash when you got the wrong channel with the wrong people lol try to observe some quality channels, rather than being optimistic that they are going to the moon, they keep on consuming the time in all good possible ways, in short they are realistic than being too positive. But to be honest, telegram is compose of all the shit that you are looking for crypto, scams, ignorant people and even online beggars lol.
1767  Other / Archival / Re: Developing Your Online Blackjack Betting Strategy on: September 26, 2020, 08:53:49 PM
The martingale system will never fail as long as you have the money to continue even in huge stakes. Among all the methods, martingale is the one that looks perfect to me, you can keep your winnings and get back what you lost a sure profit for me. Now a gambler must understand the situation, should know the difference between intuition and ego. I'd say personality must fit into one of these strategies, by that it will give you what you want, money.
1768  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 26, 2020, 08:00:27 PM
Anyway, they already promissed to return all money to the customers. Not bad

Yes, they did say they'll take full responsibility and work together with those whose accounts were hacked. Even if I got lucky and still have my funds intact, I'd still don't want to be in their position. The fact that KuCoin is refunding these people is amazing, and this type of responsibility should be adopted by all major exchanges
Binance did the same last year after they got hacked. I agree, exchanges should shoulder the losses of their clients once incident happen like this, they were trusted by their customers to keep their funds safe though it is really a bad idea for a trader/investor to keep their funds be in an exchange for a long time coz shit happens just like this one. I'm glad that KuCoin is taking responsibility of what just happened, a huge lesson for their security system.
1769  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: September 26, 2020, 07:35:20 PM
Well I frankly thing that because fiat is conventional, fiat does not need any support unlike crypto that needs an internet to get an access. And thinking that crypto can be traced, they can be sure that no one's hunting them down. The worst thing that criminals can have is a marked fiat, they can't just spend it anywhere. Addresses can be flagged, exchanges might not accept your crypto if it came from a flagged address especially if the government is the one who flagged it.
1770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: September 26, 2020, 06:59:38 PM
Firstly your share all your personal info with your bank so how can you call that secure? If someone else has your crypto details that doesn't mean it is not secure. I trust a family member with my private key much more than some bank with my money.
There have been some cases where Bank data has been breach, as we know there is no perfect system after all, but when we talk about security it is best if you keep your money with the bank with terms and condition applied to avoid getting lost. And of course you'll trust your family more than anyone lol.
How will someone steal your crypto? Btw just because your money was stolen does not mean the bank will get it back.
There are various way for your crypto to be stolen, one of them is by malicious software intended to hack your wallet.

Btw just because your money was stolen does not mean the bank will get it back.
It depends, that's why there are terms and conditions when keeping money in the bank.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 26, 2020, 06:10:54 PM
This is not going to be real boxing. This is like a game of some kind. Conor doesn't know how to box. But credits to him for even coming up with this plan. He really knows how to stir the fans and make money out of it. He's a pro in marketing.
I don't why Pacquiao accepted it, he has nothing to prove anymore, he holds a title of the only 8- division champion of the world, beaten so many people, already has an age for combat sport, I don't know why  Huh as for the article that I've read, huge part of the winnings by Pacquiao will go straight to pandemic fund. So expect a huge crowd.

But let this fight happen if the fans want to see the two with their boxing gloves. We all know how it will end up, Conor getting schooled by the legend.
Let's see what will happen to this, Floyd vs McGregor is really boring to watch. Hope this ain't.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 26, 2020, 04:29:34 PM
I don’t see any point to this fight aside from a big pay day for both fighters. McGregor isn’t a boxer, it’s a farce, I would like to see him back in the Octagon where he belongs.
As we have seen with Floyd and McGregor's fight, we hate it coz it doesn't look like a real Boxing. McGregor exhausted too fast, clearly he can't keep up for 12 rounds. McGregor was born to fight in octagon, he knows that but the thing is he's creating a hype for the money and the title.

Pacquiao is one of the greats, he has nothing to prove, let alone against a MMA fighter. I struggle to see a need for this fight, it makes a bit of a show of the sport.
Could have been another Filipino UFCC fighter like Kevin Belingon. I don't see the point of Pacquiao fighting McGregor, really.
1773  Other / Meta / Re: Twice that my post has gone missing. on: September 25, 2020, 08:52:09 PM
Next time you're uncertain whether your posts is allowed in our local board, send a message to our mod (Mr. Big). Just a suggestion.
Indeed, rather than being so unsure and get anxious about your post if it disobeys any rules in the forum, it's best to message the designated mod ( if possible ) especially when you're trying to convince someone or raise something that might go off.

Again just wanna let you know OP, from my recent comment you can PM me about that project.
1774  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My newbie tanong on: September 25, 2020, 08:28:28 PM

Mahal talaga sa mga exchange and wallets like Coinsph kase apart from paying the actual fees for bitoin nagbabayad ka din sa coinsph. Maraming nagsasabi na mas makakamura kung sa tao ka talaga bibili mismo which is not advisable for newbie like OP kase nga baka hindi legitimate yung makatransact mo, best to use an escrow when dealing with this kind of transaction.
1775  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ako si Dogie's Channel Hacked and became a Crypto Channel. on: September 25, 2020, 07:42:42 PM
May mga channel hijacker talaga na yun ung target nila, makuha ung channel and as much as possible makakuha ng user views na pwedeng bumisita or subukan ang business/website/product nila.
Malaki or maliit lang yung channel, di yun nagmamatter as long as masyadong madaling ihack yung channel gagawin nila yun.

Expect more of these kind of event pa in the future.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc transaction fee is way too much and btc transactions are way too slow on: September 25, 2020, 06:42:03 PM
What about transacting huge amount using wire transfer to different country's bank account? It may take few days and also fee is really high.
Yeah, if I would choose between transferring using banks or bitcoin I'd simply say bitcoin, coz why not? I don't have to pay such fees because you guys are signing a paper, I want the fee to pay those miners. But to be honest, btc fees is killing me and so the eth fees, I guess that would be the only problem having these crypto.

And more important you are transacting your funds without help of anyone.
Transacting anonymously without any intermediaries, but sometimes you need banks if you want to be sure where your money goes.
1777  Other / Meta / Re: Twice that my post has gone missing. on: September 24, 2020, 08:16:35 PM
OP, nearly everyone gets some posts deleted at some point so don't fret too much about this.  As hilariousandco said, they were reported as being off-topic, though I don't think they looked like begging posts as acroman08 suggested.
Yeah, I myself even find it begging though it was intended to be in a good way, still forum rules should be obey. That has no relation to bitcoin at all, so it was an off-topic one. He just have done a good deed, in a wrong place but I salute him for doing so.

This forum really isn't the best place to be soliciting bicycle parts, however noble the cause may be.  As an aside, I wish you didn't live so far away because I have quite a few old bikes and parts that I could spare, but there's no way in hell I'd ship them to the Philippines--I can't imagine what that would cost, but I'm sure it would be more than the parts are worth.
Oh yeah The Pharmacist is a cyclist ( am I right? lol ) I do have bike too, a new and an old one, I wanna help but I also wanna restore the old one coz it was from my Grandfather who passed away 2 years ago.

Good luck with that project, though.
I have a friend who has a warehouse of used bikes, if you're interested leave me a message  Wink
1778  Other / Off-topic / Re: TESLA WILL BE THE FUTURE on: September 24, 2020, 07:18:19 PM
Who's anyone in here who does not want Tesla car?

The fact Tesla has a great marketing doesn't make it most desirable car (for example I'd prefer a Maserati Levante at any time. Yes, on gasoline).
Does that car has a auto pilot mode? what I love about Tesla is that they're already ahead of today's cars.

I like the idea of electric car, but I don't like the current electric cars: expensive and with crappy battery.
Never had a Tesla but yeah, as of today, I think it is still convenient to use gasoline powered cars as we don't have much charging stations yet.

Now I think of installing a solar panels in the roof of the car so it gets charge automatically under the sun, would that be possible?

I've read rumors about the "million miles battery" and I had hopes (maybe unrealistic, I know). A new battery tech - way bigger capacity, way smaller charging time and way smaller price - are needed to make this industry really make sense.
I see that this is going to happen, we'll see til the Tesla releases their Model Z  Grin
1779  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pinakamadaling paraan ng pagconvert from PHP to BTC? on: September 24, 2020, 06:19:54 PM

1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 24, 2020, 05:53:03 PM
lets not cheat guys ,if we don't wanna lose then don't play at all.
LOL card counting is not in any way a cheat as long as you don't have any devices to do it like physical cards or anything that can act as a card. In fact card counting is hard to pull off especially when you are under pressure, or does have a short term memory. AFAIK, some dealers shuffles the card after every round to avoid these things to happen, it is not a cheating but when you have someone to help you to count it is an advantage against the casino.
